Larra, my kitchen is small (6 meters). But the mule has its place at the edge of the tabletop. My husband and I are lovers of technology, there is almost everything you can. There is no place to put it either. Removed to other rooms. The kitchen only has a mule, an electric kettle and a blender (for cocktails). I take out the rest at once, used / removed and then again as well. In a couple of years I will move and the kitchen will be 19kv. There I have already foreseen everything, where it will stand.

Wow! I have a smaller room. And the kitchen is 7.5. But on the surface there are a multicooker, a double boiler, a kettle, a bread maker, a combine and a coffee maker, because I somehow do not use what is not at hand.
I'm afraid to put electrical appliances on the stove: suddenly, out of forgetfulness, I will turn it on or just put it on a hot one? And goodbye plastic, wires, etc.

Yesterday I cooked wheat for kutya. Wheat was beaten, which is usually boiled for 40-60 minutes.
Cooked: the ratio of wheat / water (boiling water) - 1: 1.5; mode - "rice / cereal"; time - 13 minutes program + about 20 minutes on auto heating.
What happened: not all of the water evaporated, a little remained, I had to drain; the wheat is soft, as in my opinion - a little twisted. It seems to me that 9-10 minutes of the program and no more than 15 minutes of auto-heating would be enough. Saving time, consider, no, so just for the sake of experiment.
Colleague,
and asking a question - and getting an answer - do you read it ??? I got the impression that I like to ask, but still do it my own way ... and then gasp and groan .. but it was necessary this and that ...

Read my answer about cereals ... "9 minutes on the menu" RICE / CEREALS and 10 minutes on heating "... or will you reinvent the wheel again? Although - I like to create problems, and then look for ways out of them is not a question. .. go ahead.

PySy.
Nothing personal, but really surprised ...
Nyctalus
n.copokaYou know, whole wheat and cereal for porridge are slightly different products, don't you think? Wheat takes longer to cook on the stove or in a double boiler than buckwheat or millet. With water, the situation is also different: you can simply pour out excess water from wheat (and sometimes I also wash the wheat after cooking), but buckwheat or millet must be evaporated. In short, these are different products. This is not to mention the fact that the wheat itself is quite different.

I read a lot of posts on this topic - accidentally include children and cats! Then sad photos of burnt mules
(well, our child is already an adult, and you can expect everything from a cat, she is one of those that will climb into the bowl, if you do not look)

I have a mule on the hob, on which is a large glass cutting board, so I'm not afraid to melt it. Although there is a small child in the house, but ugh .. ugh ... somehow she is indifferent to electrical appliances, does not even fit, the only thing I like is to watch the bun rolls around in the stove. And I myself, too, never accidentally turned it on, so I'm calm for that.

Yul, 19m this is certainly cool, I wish you all such kitchens))) I will also move soon (though in a couple of months, not years), there will be a bigger kitchen - 12m2, (not much of course, but still, now somewhere 7 , 5m), I think it will be possible to somehow place everything better.

Nyctalus, I also - that is not in sight of technology, I do not use that. Therefore, I hung up an A4 sheet with a list of everything I have (both a bread maker and a waffle iron and a crepe maker and a toaster, and more). I walk and always look with one eye, suddenly I need to get something to use ...

It's just that these buttons run through the menu, and do not add minutes. Everything else is in order. Am I doing something wrong or have I already carried it to the service?

to add / remove time, first you need to press the "DELAY / TIMER" button, and then +/- change the time

Medova, no need to go to the service, why so immediately, we did not deal with such problems here, so we do not panic, but carefully read the instructions. press the "delay / timer" button once and + or - set the required cooking time, press the "delay / timer" button twice and + or - set the required time for the delayed start (delayed cooking). I do not remember whether you wrote in this thread or not, if not, then welcome to our ranks. Welcome, we are all glad. So be sure to try to make friends with such a wonderful helper. Good luck.

I am reporting: I tried to cook porridge. With varied success.

Rice milk porridge: cooked for 15 minutes, then for another 15 minutes the porridge reached the auto heating. I did not dilute milk with water, I took the proportions from Jula62 (80 ml of cereals, 400 ml of milk), long-grain rice. During cooking, nothing snorted, as a result, nothing escaped and did not even try, did not burn, but the milk stuck to the bottom a little (it got wet quickly when the pan was filled with water). All is well, only the porridge turned out to be not very viscous - either it was in vain I took the time off, or it was necessary to take round rice all the same.

Semolina: cooked on a multi-cooker, 100 degrees, an open bowl and constant stirring. For half a liter of milk - 1.5 tbsp. tablespoons of semolina without a slide. She warmed the milk until it began to rise, poured semolina with constant stirring, cooked for 3-4 minutes, turned it off, closed it with a lid and left it on auto-heating for a while. It turned out to be a normal tasty porridge, only thicker than I expected - the bottom is large, a lot evaporates (there was a lot of steam, my bangs even got wet while I was cooking and stirring).

Whole meat stew: the meat cooker lives up to its nickname. I cooked based on here of this recipe, only I had French mustard and less. Stewed for 55 minutes. The meat turned out to be beautiful, juicy and tasty, but a lot of liquid remained - about half a liter. I tried to cook buckwheat on this ...

Buckwheat: what is unlucky and how to deal with it. The ratio of cereal / water this time was 1: 1.2 approximately, cooked for 9 minutes, forgot to get it on time, so that for another half an hour the porridge reached on automatic heating. As a result, the porridge turned out to be crumbly, but slightly dry. I don’t understand: either there’s not enough liquid, or did it dry out on auto heating?

The food looked like this:
Multi-cooker-pressure cooker Moulinex CE502832 Multi-cooker-pressure cooker Moulinex CE502832
Jula62
It seems to me that the automatic heating spoils many dishes. Personally, I never use it. The porridge has never been burnt, everything is eaten right at 0.
Nyctalus
Jula62, and who knows, before buckwheat was wrapped after boiling for several hours - also an option to keep heat for a longer time ...
Nadin1234
Nyctalus, buckwheat is a little dry, because you need to take 1: 1.5 to water, it will be better and the heating does not spoil the porridge, not to heat for hours, of course, but to brew a little for them only to benefit.
Nyctalus
Nadin1234, yes on me n.copoka she swears a lot that I don't listen to her advice, so I decided to try it according to its proportions. Next time I'll try 1: 1.5.

Girls, I don’t know why your cartoons are tricky with porridge, I always cook buckwheat 1: 2 cereal / water, 12 minutes of rice / cereal, turn off the heating and open it after 15 minutes, when the steam itself bleeds off. The mule never let down, the porridge is crumbly, not viscous, not smear. Choy then you are muddling there ???
V.S.B.
I completely agree with Larisa! I cook buckwheat in the Mula 1 to 2 and the steam goes down by itself, or I put it on a delay for the night, the same proportion in the recipe book.

Girls, I'm just tuning in to buy MV. I liked 502 Moulinex, but I saw that there is also 503. I decided that 503 should be improved and newer, but I can't understand how they differ? The modes are almost the same. I noticed that in 503 there is no choice of product (meat, vegetables, fish and poultry in 502). Are these buttons really necessary? There are 502 in stores in my city, but not 503. In the Internet I see that the price is almost the same. I would not like to buy the "penultimate" model if there is a "last" one, but at the same time I do not see any advantageous differences in 503 MB. I would be grateful for your advice!

Hello everyone! Happy coming and coming!
Nyctalus, thanks for the recipe for meat with a large piece, I will definitely use it. Looks - super !!! Regarding buckwheat / water, it seems to me that something may depend on the type of buckwheat and on its quantity? I cook mistral 2MC / 3MC (12 minutes of rice / cereals, 5 minutes of heating (while letting off steam) .It turns out soft and crumbly.
I would like to consult.
1. The smell from the ring does not give me rest. Although Larra right, over time the smell of pilaf for some reason stopped turning to porridge) I bought a seemingly suitable ring for a pressure cooker (), it closes well, when opened it somehow clings suspiciously. Try to cook something under pressure? Or not to risk it?
2. Has anyone cooked lentils in 502? In what proportions? Time? I'm waiting for advice)
Nyctalus
Frau_M, but not at all, not my original recipe. Only a lot of liquid remains in the pressure cooker; perhaps, at the very beginning, it is worth not warming up on "baking", but on "frying", turning over a couple of times ...

I became afraid to cook in a non-native bowl, although I had previously cooked normally under pressure several times.

another "five cents" mine
cartoon I have since June, after cooking (regular) borschik, meat with spices, the ring began to smell of pepper, spices, garlic. And in order not to risk it, I bought myself another "native" ring and a cup. Now everything is simple - I cook smelling food (meat, pilaf, vegetables, soups, stuffed peppers, stuffed cabbage rolls) in an old bowl and with an old ring, but for baking, yogurt and porridge - I use a new bowl and essaysno with a new ring. and the problem disappeared as such.
I bought it at the Mulinex service center ... because it became dumb to break the "wet nurse".

one more moment with cooking (what if someone needs it)
I love the vinaigrette. So I cook vegetables on my favorite STEWING / VEGETABLES program for 10 minutes (this is with an average size of vegetables). I put everything at once - beets, carrots and potatoes, washed. I pour 300 grams of water and turn it on ... everything is being prepared wonderfully. cooked and softly ... Of course, if the beets are large, then add time using the TEXTURE button. In this case, cook carrots and potatoes separately. All the same 10 minutes.

Burn, colleagues!

Oh, girls, and you should be afraid ... I came here for the second time on the same ones, there was something with cooking just for Christmas, everything was fried and squalling everywhere))), so I again overshadowed my own frying in a Redmond bowl and I did not transfer it to my own, turned on the extinguishing, under pressure naturally ..., it jammed again. Well, now I already knew what to do (once again I remembered Vasily with gratitude), they opened it with my husband, with the same difficulty, and when the lid opened, even the ring fell off. So now heightened vigilance and caution, so sorry for the mule, straight rape of some kind, so open it. So I do not advise taking risks and cooking under pressure with unusual bowls and rings. At first everything was normal for me, and then it jammed.
Jula62
Frau M, I have my own ring from 502832 after pilaf and borscht, this is how it stinks and the smell was transmitted to the porridge. So I bought another ring, not my own, from Brand. The type ring size is the same. In fact, it turned out that the silicone is of a different quality and tighter. For several months, when cooking porridge, it was necessary to grease the side of the bowl with butter to make the ring slide. So I alternate - my own ring for everything smelly, another for porridge (I don't make baked goods in this mule). Now the ring is stretched out a bit and there is no need to lubricate with oil.
Nadin1234
n.copoka, can I have questions about the vinaigrette? I steam vegetables, it takes longer, and you cook peeled stews? And you write - soft in 10 minutes, which is very straight?, Otherwise I cut into cubes with a multi-cutter, very soft is not necessary. And tell me, what do you think, a lot depends on the choice of the product on the program (in white it is not) or the choice of texture is the same, or you need to change the time if you cannot select specifically "vegetables"?

Hello. Take a new one, in theory)))
Still hesitating whether to take a white MOULINEX CE 503132 or a black Moulinex CE 502832. Has this point been discussed here yet? It's just that there are no branches about 503 models ...
The differences between Moulinex CE502832 and Moulinex CE503132, as I understand it, are in design and in the number of programs - the CE502832 model has programs for cooking by type of food. Tell me is this an important feature in 502 ??? And if there are more programs in 502, why is 503 more expensive ???

lora76, Welcome!!! We even accept it in theory))) I have a black 502, six months ago when I took it, it was, on the contrary, more expensive than 503, and even now in different stores they put different prices. Their differences are small, programs for cooking by type of food are not so important as convenient. You do not need to think how much to set there (time and pace.), Although someone who is white will probably write their advantages. There is longing and roasting (I can definitely do without them without problems). I liked the 502 more in terms of features and design. And it's all the same for you to choose, you really decide, it will immediately become easier))) And to us! Good luck!
Svetlana14
Hello everyone! Oh, and I have not been here for a long time, during this time they wrote a whole book, read, not reread, and the people pulled themselves up, which is very pleasing
I tell you ... I put my mule aside for a while. And they bought my mother the same, but white (I couldn't choose anything else, I think these models are just a godsend). Mom did not want to take it for herself right away, they say, check that everything was fine, not buggy and all that. Well, okay, so I'm checking for now: girl-yes: So you can say that I have both black and white, but temporarily, of course.
Outwardly, well, I'm used to black and I like it more in design, although in color it is in sharp harmony with everything else in the kitchen. White is certainly softer, the color is so nice, you can't say anything. But its design is different, it is slightly lower and wider, as if flattened, in comparison with black. The lid is arranged differently. The bowl is exactly the same, only in white, where the measure is squeezed out, the inscription moulinex is also squeezed out (in black it is not). And by weight, size and thickness one to one, I determined it by eye. Now, according to the menu, in the black one it is more convenient to control, this button with the arrow is very well thought out, and in the white one you hang for a moment, thinking what to press next. But I think this is a matter of time and habit. The container for collecting condensation in my black one walks more, in white it is denser, but condensation also collects on the table (not much) and on the handle. The valve in white is different, there is no ringlet, it is more difficult to wash it. Oh, a lot of letters have turned out. But outwardly, water is everything. I'll write about the functionality later.
Nadin1234
Svetlana14, there are a lot of differences, and about which no one has written before (and the lid, and the valve, and below a bit), maybe that's why they write about other people's cups in different ways, Redmont's one approached the black one, advised confidently, and in white it gets stuck, clutching with lid.
Svetlana14
Well, yes, there are such differences, although not very significant, I can post pictures if necessary.
Regarding the bowl, I have this Redmond bowl, I cooked in it both in a black and in a white mule, everything is fine with and without pressure, nothing touches me. And I'm going to order this cup again for my mother.

Svetlana, I also cooked in it many times under pressure, and everything was fine, and then such a nuisance. One might think that it was an accident, but when I forgot to rearrange the bowl to cook under pressure, it jammed a second time. You can't imagine how difficult it was to open, I was so worried that the mule broke. I'm not going to take any more risks. But this is just my opinion, so if you are not afraid .... And I'm not the only one who has jammed the cartoon with this bowl, so now I only bake and fry in it (without pressure, naturally). Something like this.

I do not peel vegetables, but cook them in a peel. After 10 minutes of "stewing" the vegetables are not soft at all, but just the right texture, because I also cut the vinaigrette with a Mulnex cutter - the one that cuts into cubes, and I don't like boiled vegetables too ..

I can’t say anything about the white multi, I have it black. Don't have the vegetables option?
Svetlana14
Now I will unsubscribe from the recipe book and differences. The books themselves are the same and the pictures and the recipes themselves are one to one, but not all.
In the "black" book there are no recipes such as Baked milk, Veal stroganoff with oyster mushrooms, Potato Granny and Home-style Roast. (For those interested, I can post it here).
In the "white" book there are no such recipes: Pike perch with tomato sauce, Liver, baked potatoes with gherkin dip.
It turns out that there are more recipes for the white mule.
Further, such recipes as oatmeal porridge, red beans and boiled pork are cooked in different programs, although the ingredients are the same.
Herculean porridge: in "white" cooking on milk porridge for 10 minutes, in "black" on oatmeal for 10 minutes. Although the temperature is the same in both programs.
Red beans: in "white" beans on a prog 60 minutes (114 degrees); in "black" stewing / meat 60 minutes (112 degrees). Probably these two degrees do not affect in any way, I do not know why the manufacturer wrote that.
Boiled pork: in "white" languor (95 degrees), 60 min, in "black" multishef 105 degrees. For 60 minutes.
Here, as it were, the difference in temperature is significant, but the time is the same, it is not at all clear what were guided by when writing
Well, in those recipes for a black mule, where it says, for example, stewing / vegetables for 10 minutes or a double boiler / vegetables for 10 minutes, in a white one they simply write braising 10 and a double boiler 10. Although the temperatures are different for vegetables, fish, meat and poultry. And for white, under these programs, one temperature is set, equal to meat, that is, the maximum temperature, a lower temperature is set for vegetables, fish and poultry.
Otherwise, everything is identical.
I don’t know how much these two degrees play a role, until I noticed a difference neither in the taste nor in the texture of the products.
Svetlana14
Larissa, yes, I read your story here and was upset with you, then I just can't imagine what would have happened to me in such a situation, because I love my mule very much, I use it every day and every day I say thank you to the one who invented this
Well, in general, it's kind of strange, at first everything was fine, and then bam and jammed, I don't understand why this is, why this could have happened. After your post about that case, I haven't risked it yet, although the cup is excellent.
Nadin1234

Well, yes, in white there is no choice of the type of product (I knew this when I took it, but I only wanted white) I'll try to cook it your way, we often have a vinaigrette, I want to improve the technology, otherwise I usually run three multi-launches for speed, each vegetable steamed
Nadin1234
As for the bowls, because they are not identical with the Redmont one, the first thing I checked was how I bought, rearranged and tried them on to each other, from the Redmont pressure cooker the bowl quietly enters the Mula, but deeper, that is, a smaller part of the sides rises, and from The mule bowl is not included in the Redmont pressure cooker at all! Only up to half it intermeddle and got stuck, you can see there are differences in width, although if you put them next to each other, the eye does not see the differences, they seem to be the same, here it seems that the pictures were laid out together.

If this is at the expense of my post, then I wrote about the identity of the bowls between the black and white mules, I saw them well and put them next to each other, and checked each other both by thickness and by weight (by eye).
And if you compare it with the Redmond bowl, then yes, there is of course a difference between them.
Svetlana14
Now I will write about the functions, or rather the differences. I studied both tablets. They are practically identical. In white, two roast programs are added (40 min, 112 degrees), the same as stewing / meat in black. Only in hot water you can not add water, but in extinguishing without water it will not start, I don't understand how she recognizes it
Well, the program of languor has been added (60 minutes, 95 degrees), which can be done on a multispaw in principle.
Well, in white there is no division into vegetables / fish / poultry / meat in a double boiler and stewing, which is also not absolutely critical, you can adjust and reduce the time. That's all: girl_wink: there are no more differences.
I'm just still not clear about these 25 manual modes))), where to count them, where to look?
Svetlana14
Well, now about cooking and the results
To be honest, I didn't notice any difference. White cooks as well as black. The only thing I noticed is that the bowl in white fries it more evenly, perhaps because it is new, mine is already well used. And even in the process of gaining pressure, it clicks so loudly, my black one at first also clicked so loudly, and then calmed down, maybe it will be so with this one.
Therefore, girls, who choose there, suffers in doubts, wool the Internet. This is a purely personal matter, in terms of functionality, they are both equally beautiful, the differences are very insignificant and not fundamental, here you already look at the appearance, which one is closer to your liking, go to the store, feel it, twist it.
In any case, a pleasant pastime in the kitchen for everyone reading and, of course, delicious dishes and inspiration to cook and create something new.
Svetlana14
Yesterday I made a roast roast on the program, but it turned out not roast at all, but like a sauce, but niche, we love that too. Everything was boiled and the liquid was too much, although I did not add it. But still delicious 40 minutes of course is very, very much, I would reduce it to 20 minutes. You need to get used to and adjust to everything. In general, I did not appreciate this function, you can do the same on extinguishing. Now the vexation is next, we'll see.
Nadin1234
Svetlana14, Something I do not understand is the Roast program, the lid is blocked there and it turns out stewing, not frying, liquid can always form and that excess steam does not leave at all? Or maybe just stew on this program, if something is not juicy enough for Stewing?

Thank you very much for helping you and your namesake Larre !!! We could not touch either 503 or 502 - they are not in the city, I planned to order them on no. But I did not find 503 in stock even in i-stores, but I found 502 at a very good price, given the recent price increases))) So, as soon as my "brunette" arrives, I will come back here, to you, friendly and helpful girls, and boys))), we will be friends)))
Svetlana14
Nadin1234, so I did not understand this program. Prepared with the lid locked. The products turned out to be stewed, there were no crusty crusts at all. I opened the lid after cooking and releasing the pressure, and the vegetables and meat floated straight, the potatoes partially collapsed in the mashed potatoes, I immediately turned on the frying program for 5 minutes, so as to somehow evaporate the unnecessary liquid. Here, stew on this program, yes, most likely it is convenient and you do not need to add liquid. And when extinguishing, you need to add some water, otherwise it will not start and the pressure will not pick up, it has already been checked more than once.
Svetlana14
lora76, you're welcome
Then write down your impressions, and it is really difficult to find a mule in online stores, I took the last white one, and then I could not find either the white or the black one. And of course they have risen in price, like many things now
