Stuffed pepper (Gefuelte Paprika mit Hackfleisch)

Ingredients

Bell pepper 5
Minced meat 800gr
Rice 0.5st
Onion 2
Greens
Sour cream 100gr
Cheese
A tomato 1

Cooking method

  • A lot of dishes in German cuisine are similar, or the same, with our dishes. One of these dishes is stuffed paprika.
  • The dish is elegant, easy to make.
  • We take the paprika, cut off the leg, clean the paprika from films and seeds.
  • Stuffed pepper (Gefuelte Paprika mit Hackfleisch)
  • Cooking minced meat, mix with onions, slightly cooked rice, salt, pepper. Instead of eggs, I began to beat minced meat, so I do not add eggs.
  • We start the wig, put a spoonful of sour cream, a slice of tomato, herbs on top of each paprika.
  • Stuffed pepper (Gefuelte Paprika mit Hackfleisch)
  • Place in a baking dish. Mix sour cream with water, salt, pepper, add tomato, pour into a mold.
  • We cover the form well with foil and put in the oven at 200 * for about an hour.
  • Shortly before the end, remove the foil, sprinkle with a little cheese.
  • Stuffed pepper (Gefuelte Paprika mit Hackfleisch)
  • Sometimes, when there is no way to wait, I start cooking in a pressure cooker, on vegetables for 10 minutes, bleed off the steam, the oven heats up at that time, put it in the dose and in the oven for 10 or 15 minutes. This saves half an hour.
  • Bon Appetit!!

Note

In most paprika recipes, German housewives cook it in tomato sauce.
First, they make the sauce, then put paprika in it or put it and cook.
We like paprika with sour cream sauce better.

I caught my eye on your peppers - when we lived in Deutschland, we also bought - but those were from Hungary, the sweetest, fleshy and tastiest. And the Globus lecho was also from Hungary.
Where are yours grown?

I love stuffed peppers, I always buy the thickest and reddest ones, I like the pepper to be delicious on its own, and the minced meat is already a tasty addition. I do it without rice.

MariV, and I don’t know where, I don’t look at the label.
kil, I also like it with thick, thin peppers a completely different taste, also good, but different.
And I sometimes do it with multi-colored peppers, we sell packs of three, different colors, red, yellow, green.

How could I have missed such deliciousness! Everything seems to be as usual, but still ... there are nuances.
And my husband would eat such peppers at least every day - and more sour cream, and tomatoes!
Thank you,Lerele!
