Alyssa93, I made yogurt in half-liter jars, I have three of them fit into the bowl. I didn't close the cans, but before yogurt, I either baked apples with cinnamon, or just boiled cinnamon with lemon (I don't remember already) - in short, I interrupted the smell of meat and onions on an elastic band. Probably, you can just in the bowl if there is a lot of milk. Over time, I did not become wise, I left 8 hours, as originally laid down in the program. I liked the result, only a little bland, I like it with sourness, but I had a mixture of milk and cream, maybe it turned out too fat, because it was not sour at all.
I once bought dry sourdough, I didn't like it. I usually take "Activia" without additives, one jar per liter of milk, I just need to watch that there is as much time as possible before the expiration date, at least 7-10 days.
Larra
Alyssa93, Katyusha, I wrote here a detailed recipe for making yogurt, but I don’t remember on which page. From homemade milk, I did not get yogurt, but rather curdled milk. For yoghurt, I always take ultra-pasteurized from 3.2 to 6% fat. I use 270g glass jars with a volume (6-7 pieces fit), put them on the bottom (on a napkin), cover them without twisting the lids, 40 * multishef mode - 4 hours. In more detail, you need to search for the pages)))
And also, I don't pour water into the bowl.
mur007
Alyssa93, Katyusha, about water, I was like that at the beginning, a lot of water flows out from under the steam release valve, I now remove the top cap and wipe it with a napkin, then open it, and if something like that with a lot of steam , then I immediately hold a paper towel in my hands and put it under the lid where the elastic band is, as you open it you will see there water flows down in a trickle and then everything is clean, especially if the borscht (((, and nothing flows anywhere)))) try it !! !!
but at the expense of yogurt, I make the child constantly either yogurt or narine, I take 1 liter of regular milk in a bag, then boil it gently, so that without foams, otherwise they remain, pour into a multi saucepan, pour the starter culture or the previous yogurt into the eye a couple of spoons, stir, close the yogurt and everything is fine, I usually put it overnight, pour it into a saucepan in the morning, but you can stir it in another container and pour it into jars, and then tudap jars and all the mode for 8 hours, then into the refrigerator put not for long and you can eat)))) I do not do much, because we do not have time to eat, and the shelf life is 3-5 days ...

Questions .... If the legs of the steaming stand are so short, then the amount of water in the bowl should not reach the bottom of the stand. Is such a small amount of water enough to cook vegetables? This is my first pressure cooker, so I don't understand some of the points ... In my Panasonic, the stand is suspended, so you can pour water at least half a bowl ...
When you cook salt and spices in a pressure cooker, do you need to add, as usual, to taste or less? I read somewhere that in the process of cooking under pressure, the taste of salt and spices increases and they need to be added in smaller quantities. Is it so?
We urgently need to master it, because the new year is on the nose !!!

Marina111, congratulations on your purchase and welcome))) I pour 2 multi-cups of water for steaming, in pressure cookers and multicooker the water does not boil away as much as in a regular saucepan on the stove, so no more pouring (especially half a bowl).

I add a little less salt and spices than usual, and then at the end of the program I already regulate what I am missing, but this is on some recipes (more often on soups), and so I salt and add spices as usual. Cook a couple of times and figure out how much and what you need. Good luck in learning)))

Marina111, I have a model 501132, it also has a steamer on low legs, but in reality there is quite a lot of water under it. I cooked potatoes in their uniforms and vegetables for vinaigrette - no problem, just taking out hot vegetables is not very convenient.
About salt and spices is doubtful. On the contrary, it seemed to me that I needed more spices, because usually I put them in the cooking process, or even closer to the end, and here - at the very beginning (after all, you can't open the lid), so that the taste and smell have time to get lost a little. But everything needs to be tested empirically, I also have my first pressure cooker, less than a month, I'm just experimenting for now.

Alyssa93, only if you boil milk for yogurt, then cool it down to 40 degrees or lower! Otherwise the leaven will die.
I once made yogurt in a slow cooker, but before that I did it in a yogurt maker, and before that in a thermos. I took milk differently: from the market, draft, pasteurized, ultra-pasteurized, added goat, cream, milk powder / cream - in all cases I got normal yogurt, only with milk powder / cream I did not like the taste. Stands in the refrigerator normally for about a week, then it's better not to eat like that, to start cooking.
Nyctalus
Marina111, I cooked pea soup approximately the way it is written in the instructions. Nothing escaped me, but the peas, for my taste, turned out to be slightly undercooked, and the potatoes were overcooked. Next time I'll cook first the peas separately, and then the soup from it.

I take oatmeal per 1 MC of flakes with 2 MC of water and 3 MC of milk, salt and sugar to taste, the "oatmeal" mode - 5 minutes, I do not forcibly let off steam, I wait 10 minutes and open it. Nothing escapes.
Pea soup. 1 onion, 1 small carrot - fry on "frying" for 5 - 6 minutes, stirring, add chopped (sausages, var. Or smoked sausage, smoked chicken breast, hunting sausages or any other meat of your choice) + 1 clove of garlic. Fry for another 5 minutes. Switch off the frying mode. Add 2 diced potatoes. Pour in 2 MC of washed peas (I took the yellow one, did not soak it), salt and pepper. Pour water to about the middle of the bowl. Close and lock the lid. Multishef mode - 105 * - 35 minutes. So it will definitely not run away and will cook normally, if you like completely boiled peas, increase the time by 5 - 7 minutes.

Nyctalus, try to cook as I wrote in the previous post, I also tried the recipe from the instructions first, I didn't like it, but I found this recipe somewhere here on the forum, no hassle and very tasty))).
Nyctalus
Larra, but the instructions are almost the same, only on the "soup" program. I still have a suspicion that the peas are such, of increased hardness.
I can't put 105 degrees - or 100, or 110. The native "soup" program gives 114, according to the same instructions. Should I try 110?
Larra
Quote: Nyctalus
I can't put 105 degrees - or 100, or 110.
But is there no "multishef" mode in it, there you can also set the temperature and time you want. If not, then of course it's better to try 110. It's just that when I was cooking on the "soup" mode, my valve clogged, it didn't run away, but I had to open it with a toothpick. At 114 degrees, a decent boil is already obtained, but at 105 there is no such. Not even the lid got dirty.
Nyctalus
Larra, there is a multishef, but the temperature adjustment step is 10 degrees.
At me absolutely, absolutely nothing ran away, did not clog and did not get dirty on the "soup", although I cooked more than half a bowl. But I will not adapt in any way that I have to put everything in at once, I cannot open the lid later. I got used to cooking on the stove and putting food in sequence (for example, fried onions and carrots - shortly before the end of cooking, so that the carrots do not boil; salt - after boiling; herbs and spices - at the very end). So in a multicooker, I still have mostly semi-finished products and preparations (vegetables for salad, meat for broth, cabbage for filling ...), but ready-made dishes are not very good.
Larra

Nyctalus, yes you try first on frying, then lay everything in and forget until the end of the program. Nothing boils down, I don’t know why, but this is a feature of all multicooker - pressure cookers that all products remain intact, even if we lay them all at once.))) So go for it, try, otherwise what's the point in a pressure cooker. The only thing that I cook separately at first is the meat for broth, all the scale remains on the walls and clean transparent broths are already going into the soups (I drain my bowl, put all the products at once and pour in the broth, whatever mode is needed, and that's it).
Marina111
Larra, Nyctalys, thanks for the answers !!! I'll try today)))

Hey. I cook oatmeal like this - 1/2 ms of oatmeal (43g) and 250 2.5% milk and 150 water. Oatmeal mode 8 minutes. The steam comes out on its own. I've been cooking this way for six months already.

Hey. I also often pour out and everything on the table. I don't know what it depends on. We already wrote here for a long time - in general, raise the handle of the mule and wrap it in the middle with a paper napkin and lower it back down. Then just change a new napkin periodically. The condensation will pour out onto the napkin, not onto the table.

Hostesses! Jula62 ,Alyssa93, also had such a problem. I solved it in such a simple way: Multi-cooker-pressure cooker Moulinex CE502832... Using an ordinary toothpick (easily inserted by touch), you can remove the gap between the container and the grooves from which water flows (design flaw). Then the water will flow into the container and not on the table. All that remains is to drain the accumulated condensate in time.

Eh, where else could I get a new drip tray, the daughter threw it out by accident, so now you have to do without it at all. Although not very annoying, I put a napkin on the table, but something does not come out very much, rarely when the napkin is wet. Probably I was lucky)))
Vasily K.
Larissa, the container can certainly be ordered from the service center.

The first pen test was successful! Do not believe it))))) she fries! As on the stove! With my first slow cooker, the frying was very low and this function was not available to me! The husband didn’t like the photos in the recipe book, he said: “I won’t eat it!”. And I began to fight on my own. Fried onions with carrots, added 1 m / s bulgur, poured 1 m / s water, "rice / cereal" 9 min. Next time I'll take 1.5m / s of water and increase the time to 12 minutes. Husband approved! I liked it because it turned out like on the stove! It's a pity that I can't download a photo from the phone. In general, while I'm happy!

I've tried it. )) Does not boil over in the sense that it does not fall apart and does not creep, but the taste is not the same. )))
Today I cooked soup using a different technology: I poured boiling water over potatoes, frozen vegetables and noodles, salted them, put them on the "soup" program for 7 minutes, and fried onions and carrots in a pan. At the end of the program, I blew off steam and threw onions with carrots, herbs and spices into the soup, boiled for a couple of minutes on the "frying" program. I didn't calculate the amount of water in an unusual saucepan, the soup turned out to be a little thin, but otherwise it's better, perhaps.
Well, practice has shown that the multicooker is capable of operating at a voltage of 180 volts and below - it still picks up temperature and pressure, and the electronics are working properly. I am pleasantly surprised.

And there is a sense in a pressure cooker in any case: it cooks / stews faster what is usually cooked for a long time, that is, meat, peas, beans. Yes, and cooks porridge or potatoes faster, although the difference here is no longer so noticeable.
And I also adapted to defrost meat in it, if necessary relatively quickly: I pour a little water, put a steaming stand, a bowl of meat on top - and at 40 degrees for 2-2.5 hours. At room temperature, it takes me a whole day or night to defrost, but here in two hours.
Jula62
Marina111, I take oatmeal (rolled oats) which is cooked for 15-20 minutes
mur007
I cooked oatmeal, I like thick one: a glass of water, a glass of milk, and 3/4 cup of oatmeal, who loves liquid then 1/2 oatmeal, I take oatmeal for a long time, let off steam immediately, just add oil to the pan, proportions for 1 portion, and then summarize))))) the lid was dirty, but nothing escaped, though I still drew a contour on a saucepan with butter for reinsurance, but I think this does not affect)))) and cooked pea soup according to a recipe from a book, everything worked out)) ))

Marina111Better to wait 5 - 10 minutes if the pan is full. And on porridges, I never immediately bleed off steam, there was a sad experience and dances with tambourines around the mule. So I really understand you, I sympathize. When you wait a little, the valve is not clogged, and even the lid is clean. So it's better not to risk it, it's a pity for your time, which you then spend on cleaning.
Marina111
Larra, how long can it take to bleed off the steam if I cook for 2 servings?

Another question: in Panasonic, I steamed vegetables for Olivier (1 carrot, 2-3 potatoes on a stand + 5 eggs in a saucepan) for 20-25 minutes. How long can it take in Moulinex? I have not yet figured out how to correlate the cooking time without pressure and under pressure.

Larra, how long can it take to bleed off the steam if I cook for 2 servings?
Marina111, well, about a minute, maybe a little more, depending on the amount of liquid in the dish.
Steamed vegetables like this: medium whole potatoes 10 - 15 minutes, carrots the same, small beets - 10 minutes, medium 15 - 20 minutes, large 20 - 25 minutes, eggs - 3 - 5 minutes.

Marina111, well, about a minute, maybe a little more, depending on the amount of liquid in the dish.
I am clarifying, but somehow it is not clear I answered. 1-2 minutes, this is if we forcibly release steam. And he himself comes out, if for two portions, I think about 10 minutes, no more. In general, depending on the volume of products, up to half an hour happens, but not as it is written in the instructions, almost two hours.
Jula62
After cereals, steam is usually released within 10-12 minutes. In general, I would advise not to bleed off the steam in any dishes, while it comes out, the dish is infused. I cooked soups and stews and cereals, depending on the mode, there was no steam output for more than 30 minutes. If, of course, unbearable, then that's another matter.
Nadin1234
I am very pleased with my white mule, especially with the release of steam - as soon as it cooks, it starts to whistle and reduce the pressure, according to my feelings it drops very quickly, I compare it with the Redik 110th, it stays tight for a very long time after cooking, you spit and start fiddling with the valve under the towel. And in Mula, the reset button is generally a song, I was thinking something even before buying, if I pressed it, then the steam immediately goes to the ceiling and everything will run away, or you can press a little and let it go right away - nothing has time to escape
It just seemed to me - it cooks longer than I'm used to, maybe I haven't gotten used to it yet, I cooked beets in large slices, 30 minutes was not enough, it was hard, I probably had to choose the texture more carefully, I hadn't figured it out yet.
Alyssa93
Thank you very much girls for the Yogurt feedback. But I have a little different ... I am afraid that after I cook for example pilaf, and then immediately yogurt, it will smell like pilaf yogurt. Who cooked in the bowl, has this ever happened? And if so, how did you manage?
Nyctalus
Alyssa93, I said above: after pilaf, make something sweet and strong smelling in a bowl. I baked apples with cinnamon or just poured water into a bowl, tossed a piece of lemon, a piece of cinnamon stick, a couple of cloves - and cooked for 15 minutes, and then let it stand with this brew. The smell from the gum does not go away completely, but is almost interrupted by the smell of spices. I didn't pour milk into the bowl, I could fit in the jars, one and a half liters of yogurt - that's quite a lot, it's like a dozen factory boxes. So I don’t know about the bowl, but the smell did not pass from the gum - neither the remnants of pilaf, nor the spice from the sweet.
Although ... the day before yesterday I cooked soup, yesterday I made a sweet filling for the pie in the same bowl (however, the filling itself is very fragrant, with wine) - I also did not notice any foreign smells in the sweet pie later.
Nyctalus
I bought the multicooker three weeks ago, and I will finally write about my impressions in general.
Multicooker Moulinex 501132, it is simpler than white 503132, smaller in size and with a removable lid. I have my first slow cooker, so everything is at random.
The design is very nice, less austere than I usually like, but still without unnecessary finesse. There are three niggles for the build quality so far: in one of the handles the plastic part is loose, dangles; the power cord in the rachem moves slightly, does not stand dead (or, it seems to me, the connector itself "breathes" a little); some kind of debris is running inside the case, by the sound - a crumb no more than 2 mm in size. I say "nitpicking", because none of this affects the operation of the multicooker in any way, these are just differences from the very, very ideal.
I did not like that there is no power off button (I decided to buy a wire from Redmond), it is inconvenient to pour / dump hot from a pan without handles (I decided to buy universal handles from the same Redmond), it is inconvenient to remove ready-made hot products from the steaming stand (I am thinking of buying a silicone basket with handles, I saw these in the store), my own spatula is somehow strange and does not inspire confidence (I bought a couple of silicone spatulas, a slotted spoon and a ladle). It is inconvenient that there is no "start" button, this cannot be solved in any way, but I have almost got used to not thinking about the panel for a long time. Well, you can always just reset the program if the multicooker turned on before I adjusted the time / temperature.
The removable cover is convenient! I compare it with my bread maker, which has a hinged lid: it's really convenient. And it takes up less space (I have a locker hanging next to me there, space is critical). The lid can be simply turned over and put on the table with the elastic band upwards, the lid handle allows. Separate joy: the elastic band does not fall out, even the steamed one is kept in the lid (I had a short experience with Shteba, where the steamed elastic band hung from the lid). The steam release button is not as convenient, perhaps, as some kind of lever, you have to hold it, but one of the advantages is that you can press it very briefly or not completely, then the steam does not come out so strongly and quickly.
How bad the non-disconnectable heating after cooking is, I still do not understand. She was always there when the multicooker finished cooking, so she could turn it off manually or leave it on auto heating. After the programs "yoghurt" and "multi-chef" the auto-heating does not turn on, after "frying" and "baking" it turns on.
I saw the condensation on the table three times: 1) cooked about 4 liters of soup; 2) baked apples with the addition of 300 ml of water, the lid is not blocked; 3) after boiling the soup, I did not check if there was water in the drip tray, it turned out to be overfilled.
I can't say anything about the bowl, I have never dealt with a ceramic coating before.
Several times in a row, the multicooker starts up without question, does not overheat.
The pressure gains 5-10 minutes (but I try to pour hot water, not cold water). If you pour, say, something fried with boiling water, then it takes very little time to build up the pressure.
The buttons are pressed tightly, you need to hold the multicooker by the handle when you select the mode, otherwise it crawls across the table. ) Anything pressed is immediately highlighted.
In some modes, you can select the type of product until I realized if this makes any sense: the cooking time changes, but you can change it anyway on any program to your liking.
I haven’t figured out the heating mode: it looks like it is only suitable for soups. When you try to warm up on it, the second gives an error (resets the time to 1 minute, which usually does when there is a lack of liquid). You can warm up on auto-heating (it turns on separately), but it is very unhurried.
In frying, apparently, the temperature is lower than in a regular frying pan, everything is fried slowly, rather it is stewed in oil. The time counts down immediately after switching on, but in fact it takes about three minutes to warm up. You can change the time right during frying, this is convenient if you want to add / subtract a few minutes.
The yoghurt turned out without any problems, on the native program without any changes.
When baked, the top is expected to be light. I covered the bowl with paper so that nothing burnt.
Meat and poultry cook well and quickly. For legumes, you need to choose the right time (it seems to me, about one and a half times less than on the stove). For cereals, apparently, you need to select the time and amount of liquid.
Everything seems to be. By and large, there are no complaints about the multicooker as a machine: it works normally, without failures and surprises, including at low voltage in the mains. The rest, you must understand, depends on the straightness or curvature of the arms.

I wrote something on the sheet, I don't know if someone needs it. But I didn't find much on the forum about this multicooker, when I looked closely at it in the store, so maybe the information will be useful to someone.
Marina111
Larra, Jula62, thanks for the answers!
Tomorrow I will go to buy a bowl RB-A523, I hope I will also buy handles-holders from the same Redmond.

And I, on the contrary, bought Moulinex to the bowls. Just here on the forum I read that Redmont bowls are suitable for this cartoon, and I bought a lot of them in due time (A523, S520). So it was decisive when choosing a new pressure cooker.
