No, he is very small himself! Only with attachments you have to be a little bit wise - store them separately in a cabinet, and there are a lot of them. There would be a separate container for nozzles for him, it would be very good.
for a large number of attachments, you can use hanging pockets, if there are 4-5 discs, then the Bosch service sells a tray for attachments, it is hanging and tabletop, but it has compartments for only three discs, the rest will need to be pushed into one compartment by 2. So IMHO better hanging pockets, discs weigh 100 grams, you can sew yourself from fabric and attach on the inside of the door of a wall cabinet or shelf. Alternatively, again. The material of your choice, the towel fabric rules - inexpensive, you can always replace it when it is worn out - it will work out inexpensively. The polyester fabric will hold the hooks.

And please tell me, can you chop ice in it? Is there a special ice pick? Or maybe someone tried to inject without a special nozzle? In a blender or in a bowl?

There is no special ice attachment - this can be seen in the description on the official website and in the photo in our topic! Both bowls are plastic, so you can chop the ice only at your own peril and risk!

Yesterday I accidentally stumbled across the instructions - "you can not chop any frozen food, except for food ice cubes" .... I didn't understand this - I mean, obviously, cubes from the freezer? then you can chop the ice, according to the instructions

natali2305, I remember this story (I will not look for the original message, time is a pity) about the scratched bottom with a disk.

I also remember that message and even found it at first and the answer is that the girl figured out what was going on https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=22259.0, and then I realized that natali2305 found another message a few pages ago here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=22259.0.
I don't really know what can catch on there and decided to take a picture after all so that everyone can compare, where and what can appear on the nozzle to spoil the bowl on a normal disk, but maybe someone really got a marriage?
Generally photo disc without marriage

photo of the bowl... There are no traces of disk operation
the sound of the combine is smooth, the bowl does not deteriorate.
I really hope that no one will get married!

This happens, as described above, when there are few products in the bowl, when there is enough (well, for 10-15 pieces of pancakes), then everything mixes together well and what is under the disc and what is above. We also had a dispute about proteins - 2 pieces are not enough for this bowl volume, but 3 pieces are already beaten well to peaks. So I repeat, it's all about the number of products!
pancake dough - all this was whipped with the same disc!
natali2305
I already have a Moulinex MasterChef 750 harvester. Multifunctional, high-quality with a very convenient mash for puree. For 20 years it has served faithfully. In Boch, cubes were interested, but taking a combine for only one function is not practical. Therefore, I wanted to use it at full capacity. One at home, another at the dacha ... So I am interested in its quality and the quality of performance of all functions ..
I want to buy a high-quality and practical harvester and not regret it, that's why I ask everyone who bought about all the pitfalls that they have already come across during operation.
LenaV07
Colleagues, advice is needed! I got myself this harvester some time ago. I say right away that not all of its functions have passed my test yet. Some are simply not needed, since there is Kenwood 010, and some simply did not reach their hands. But the "cubes" at work So, for 2 times I have torn the silicone gasket, which is in the "cube" nozzle. It is put on a gray "pin".I hope that the owners of the combine will understand me. So, what do you think, is the presence of this gasket essential? If so, can you have any ideas how to replace it? I think that contacting the service for this small thing is useless and you need to get out yourself.

Yeah, we parted with her too in two days. I wanted to order, then decided that the same fate would await the other. I haven't got anything there yet. Its absence does not affect the work and fastening of the cube cutter.

as for the cubic attachment and its grinding qualities. as I said before, I did not like the mass that came out of boiled vegetables. I will emphasize again: I had mega-starchy potatoes, the ogurs were not in a format. so do not sin too much on the nozzle itself
I decided to grind the raw ones into, as my grandmother used to say, “vinigre” cuts the raw ones just superbly: you don't need to bother quickly, beautifully and too much! but...
My microwave steamer is high, but with low sides. whole vegetables can be put in without any problems, but the cubes crumbled and some of them died under the slippers on the floor. here they gave valuable advice in their sleeve to try to bake. well, great idea, you have to do it. but. whole vegetables are baked in the skins and do not stain each other. but the chopped beets decided to repaint all the neighbors in their own color! therefore, from this experiment we obtain the following conclusions:
1.If you cut vegetables raw, the type of potato doesn't matter.
2.boil chopped in a double boiler - this is very buzzing, you just need to pick up the dishes / sleeve
3.It is advisable to isolate the beets from other vegetables. then it will turn out not only tasty, but also pretty.

Do not. There are normal gaps, there are no traces of friction, each of the parts is attached to the shaft separately, in spirals. More friction from the iron brackets that hold the gray piece on top. I use this attachment often, almost every day.
Vidmo, this gasket served as a protective collar so that the juice from the products from under the gray knife did not fall on the shaft

The girls, too, the gasket on the cube cutter on the second run fell off completely, it did not appear on the performance in any way, since it’s probably superfluous there
P.S. And I am very happy with the combine

Having studied all the above, I still did not understand ... did anyone buy this nozzle for cutting into cubes separately for the 5540 or not ??? The fact that she dresses is understandable. The service told me that it is not recommended for the 5540 and that the cover needs to be replaced!

I don't have it, but I think that there will be no obvious curves. I myself use a press for whole potatoes, it was definitely much cheaper than a nozzle. If it is very important to have absolutely even sticks, then you need a press or a grater with a fries attachment. The difference in slicing time is not big.

In general, I was in the store today in order to personally try on a nozzle from 5529 cubes to 5540 ... The result is deplorable! Either the manager's hands are crooked, or it really doesn't fit. We turned this nozzle anyway.
On 5540 it sits well, but the lid (as I was told in the service center) does not fit, that is, it presses very very hard and does not turn completely. Of course, there could be no question of any inclusion. But the bowl in full assembly with this nozzle from 5529 fit perfectly and everything snapped shut ... And we also compared the lids, but we understood the difference in the bowl or in the lid !!!!
I’ll go on a weekend, I’ll get everything, but this time I was in a hurry
My attempt number 2 was successful!
After again a long torment and stupid managers, I began to torture this attachment and bowl myself. It is very difficult to prove to them that this is one episode and everything fits there. That's the nuance! This nozzle in cubes FITS and SEATS like a glove, but with a removable bowl. Then, when you installed it in place, everything also snapped into place and went where it was needed. BUT NOT GIVEN TO INCLUDE ... Do they see the rule only to check the motor! But with nozzles you can’t!

The cube attachment from 5529 to the rest of the bowls is suitable, but only on new samples that have scars on the inner shaft of the bowl! Here on my bowl from 5540 old it did not fit, I bought it 1.5 years ago! And now all combine harvesters are making with a new bowl pattern!
I couldn't upload a photo ... I turned out to be not literate!
It's good that I bought the cube completely (for mom) not a nozzle and changed the bowls with it, gutted all the attachments I was interested in from the cube and gave what is to Mom! Now I am a happy owner of all Boshik attachments!

Anastasia
I scold myself! I was recently in M-Video, both harvesters were there. So it never occurred to me to try on a cube at 5540. In general. Not even a thought crept in.
Now I looked, looked at the photo, well, no differences were noticeable by the eye! We can only hope (really want to!) All the same, that the sellers were in a hurry and did not combine the "cube" attachment and the bowl of the 5540 harvester properly, according to the marks, and then it simply did not sit down properly and wait for information from nataliliyato finally dot the I.

Anastasia, I know what else I think? ... the 5540 has a 100ml larger bowl volume than my 5530 ... visually it is not visible at all. my 5530 has 3.8 liters, and my 5540 has 3.9 liters !!!

can you see how much the 5529 has declared by the manufacturer? I don't have it in my book ...

maybe these 100ml is the whole point?
Anastasia
I don't have any numbers on this in the manual either! It remains to be guided only by the official site in this matter. But on the other hand, I have a smaller bowl and I understand, if it were the other way around, that the cube would dangle in the larger bowl of the 5540 combine! But it turns out the opposite!

I tried to cut a fruit salad on a Cubes. Apple, pear, small hard banana ... and kiwi.Boshik coped with all the fruits, except for kiwi!))) Excellent! But the kiwi, apparently, must be taken either unripe, or put up with the fact that it will be smeared ...
But it was still sooo tasty!))) And most importantly, incredibly fast! Smiling

By the way, has anyone tried to make a cream from butter and condensed milk on MSM 5529 without using a whisk? What attachment can be used to do this? ... or is it impossible without a whisk?

How about making powdered sugar?
More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=22259.0

I'm glad that the "first pancake" did not come out lumpy! But the cream probably won't be able to do it, after all, a full-fledged whisk is needed. And you can try powdered sugar, with knives in a bowl, in principle, it should work out, but in theory, you need to try it. And you need powdered sugar for what purposes? Because if you make mastic, then they say that it is homemade sah. powder is not suitable for these purposes - it still has the wrong type of grinding. Therefore, I myself only make mastic with purchased powdered sugar.

Good day everyone! Thanks to this forum - thanks to you girls, I now have a Cube too! I read all the tips - and last week I received a New Year's gift "in advance" :) To say that I am satisfied is not enough, I am soooooooooo happy !!! For four days we have been eating salads and drinking milk cocktail :)

I want to warn people like me - the knives are very Sharp! Be careful when washing and assembling and disassembling this very cube nozzle! I have already slightly hooked two fingers exclusively due to my own negligence. First, when I tried to remove the cube cutter from the yellow holder for washing, and accidentally touched the cutting edge, and another time, when I wiped the radial knives after washing, I literally touched it too - and cut the towel and hooked my finger. In fact, everything is perfectly understood and assembled there, which I really liked, everything is so reasonable and convenient that it is quite possible to do without injuries.

Yes, and also the impression of a beginner - at first we could not fit the cube cutter as expected! It seemed to sit on the bowl, all the risks were combined, but they could not close the lid! And so, and that way - well, no way ... Then they realized what was the matter - it sits on two threads at once - on the one in the middle of the bowl, and on the drive shaft, which sticks out from this middle of the bowl. So, the thread of the shaft was in such a position that it did not coincide with the thread of the bowl, and therefore the nozzle did not sit down. I slightly turned this shaft with my hand, and everything sat down perfectly! Maybe when trying on a cube at 5540 (topic above), this is what happened? If everything is the same, and the lid does not close, then I just could not close the lid.

And I cut the potatoes and carrots for salads raw, and then cook the finished cubes in a double boiler. While the potatoes are boiling, I cut the rest of the salad, remove the food processor and the dishes, and when it is ready and cool, you can only stir and the salad is ready and everything is cleaned up. I, too, have boiled potatoes, so I don’t dare to cut them boiled - it’s all over.
And with the Cube, I hope, I have already identified the dangerous places, there is nothing more to be cut off about, now everything will be fine! Mine, I'm also special. brush, everything is very convenient and well thought out. Yes, even my husband immediately ordered a julienne disk for fries, I also used them. Fries I got quite even bars, albeit slightly curved. This curvature did not scare us, I baked these potatoes in the oven, since I don't eat fries, it turned out very well!
Asssya
Well, my report
Olivier salad Well, how, where else to start! Carrots, eggs, cucumbers - excellent. Potatoes ... well, you know ... horror. I'll try to change the type of potatoes, if there is garbage again, I will cut raw and cook in a double boiler. Further. My husband loves Olivier only (don't fall) with uncooked smoked sausage. Didn't take her cube. My husband later told me that he would never have dared to put it there. I won't either.
I also made a mini-pizza for children, they are addicted to it in Lithuania. The dough is perfectly kneaded with knives. Var. I cut the sausage into cubes. All is well, but the last portion, of course, gets stuck in the grate, I had to pull out the grate and push the pieces with a fork.
I haven't experimented again today. Tomorrow.
Yes, you have to buy a pack of plasters along with the combine. Already two cuts, one deep, dropped the nozzle-cube, tried to catch The husband also cut himself.
Shurshun
And if you first cut the boiled sausage and then the eggs, carrots and the rest, then the sausage does not have to be pushed
Anastasia
Asssya, if you still push the last portion of the pusher, which is given in the kit, so white, special. Is it not in vain that he lies there? I've gotten used to it and it's more convenient than using a fork! And of course, health is not worth any attachments - please, do not risk your handles!
Asssya
By the way, has anyone experimented with potatoes yet? Someone here mentioned an expensive imported potato ... Have you tried it yet?

I came across Israeli potatoes for grilling, but the price of 80 rubles / kg stopped them. It's easier to boil a raw cube in a double boiler.
Girls who are friends with sharp objects like me, wash the cube with a brush holding ONLY by the plastic parts, push the remains out of the grill with a white crush, collect the nozzle in a wet state and put it in the dish with the dishes. It dries perfectly assembled, and our fingers are intact. All cutting parts are deadly sharp.

Hello! So I became the owner of a wonderful Cube! Thank you all for your feedback, for a detailed description of the attachments, for videos and photos! This all helps a lot for those who only think and decide to be or not to be.
I bought the combine the day before yesterday. Immediately, the son asked for orange juice, it turned out great! Then I beat the whites into meringues, it took me 10-15 minutes with a regular whisk from a submersible blender, and the Cube mastered 4 proteins in 1 minute, with 2 sugar! Great result! Quick and easy, just turn the wheel, and no hands tired of beating! And of course the vinaigrette! From your feedback, I knew that everything would happen quickly, but so
But still, yesterday there was a small flaw in Kibik. I bought minced fish, rubbed an onion into it, put in an egg, and the knife refused to mix it all Refusal to mix it looked like this: the knife is spinning, and the minced meat is in place This nozzle is in 5540 and 5530, it is called a dough hook, here they wrote that it goes to 5529 too.
Thank you, I will definitely try this grater. Is it the one that is not double-sided but separate?
During operation, a question arose ... I made a salad from turnip (radish) with a "julienne" disc, at the end of each portion of the rubbed product a rather loud "rumble" began. It seems that the disc should be fixed, but I did not assemble the attachment correctly. I reviewed all the pictures, the attachment itself, like there is nothing tricky. The disc is placed on a plastic rim, there are no latches. Does everyone have something or am I wearing something wrong?
Anastasia

All right, all right, no latches, nothing else. There is a slight lateral play. Therefore, it may start to rattle, due to a slight difference in weight between different sides of the disc - for example, something from the processed product has adhered to one edge and it starts to outweigh and the backlash allows the nozzle to wobble a little and creates the sound that you describe. The fact that you write that the sound appears only at the end of each portion only confirms my guesses, since in the process of the work itself the product is evenly distributed over the disc and does not allow the nozzle to play and create this sound. This is how I imagine it. This should not affect the work of the combine and its performance in any way.
Lisss's
Natalya K., I have a hook for the dough, I kneaded the minced meat with it - it kneads well, I had a standard minced cutlet and kneads the dough well.

And I'm not happy with the whisk - it doesn't interfere with flour at all, only whips the whites.

Last week I was in Moscow on a business trip, and since the goal was to buy additional disks, I found a store on Talalikhinskaya (thanks to the forum for the link). There was a very interesting dialogue with the seller, he did not want to sell me a julienne disc, since it is from model 8. I gave out a grater for fries from 4 models without further ado, but no julienne. And he has holes for connection just like our own nozzles, and the 4 series has a little different. In general, after much persuasion, after learning how far I came from, links to the Internet and a culinary forum, he agreed to try on this Julienne 8 model on the Cube. I was very surprised that he came up and asked me not to tell anyone. He advised "who invented the Internet."
Now I have a complete set of discs, I cut, I cut, I rub. I am very satisfied. Many thanks to everyone for sharing experiences and tips.
The harvester is working at full load, I do not have time to wash the bowl for the next operation. For example, last night I chopped boiled meat for jellied meat together with garlic in a bowl with knives - 3 seconds. Imagine how it looks by hand: meat from the bread is sticky, as a rule, cutting garlic with knives will also torment you.
Then I cut the radish into thin, thin slices, with my hands it would not work out so thinly and evenly, I poured it with oil - it was tasty and healthy. At the same time I whipped the mayonnaise, it was not my bowl that made the dough for cheesecakes. I chopped the lemons with sugar and put them in a jar. Sometimes I cut them into slices, sometimes with knives into porridge.
Well, I cut the cabbage with potatoes into cubes and stewed them with chicken.

That's it, just the two threads were correctly combined, exactly what I wrote about in my first post 2 pages ago - the cube cutter was not immediately pushed onto my own cube.
Congratulations on your successful attempt!
Now "knowledgeable people" (that is, those who read this forum) will not have to explain to any nasty sellers why they need a cube cutter, they will just buy everything, with confidence that it will fit.
Honestly, I myself did just that with the additional disks - I read that they fit well and ordered. Well, what's the point of checking 25 times what has already been checked 24 times, even if by other people, why then exchange experience if you don't trust him? What does the seller care, why do I need this disc, which means I didn't want to sell it, so much so that I had to persuade and explain about long trips, just to sell it? Surprisingly straight ...
My harvester, what I want is what I do
Maa, a little piece of experience sharing. IMHO onion in vinaigrette is better to cut with a cube cutter, it turns out tastier than if with a julienne disc. Well, that's for our taste. We love to have finely chopped onions there, so I was a crook and tried my best at first. Something went wrong, the onion seemed to have a much better taste. In the next. once chopped the onion into cubes, like other vegetables, that's what you need. And wash 1 grater less at the same time
And yet - all fingers are intact, despite quite active communication with the cutter! Accuracy in handling rules.

It was surprising to hear this from a person who just works in the service. Explained that Bosch has such a strange policy and the markup on the service line is much higher than in the store. The only pity is that very few accessories come to these very stores.

The nozzle in cubes is not sold separately in my opinion, at least I did not find it on the Internet, I want to ask in the store, I wonder why in Russia this machine is called Bosch 5529, and in Germany Siemens 55290?

By the way, when I was looking for additional disks for Bosch, I was surprised to find them as disks for Siemens.

Anastasia, I am very grateful to you for this topic. Only with the appearance of Boshik in my kitchen, I realized what a caveman I was until now. It seemed to me that graters are the main thing that I need from the combine, well, add. bonus - cube cutter. But when Boshik knives for 10 seconds. turned the lemons into a homogeneous mass (the chopper of the same company did not grind so well), I ... well, I can't even tell how surprised I was. The hard labor of rubbing the radish has become a fun-pleasure.Korean carrots using a julienne disc are generally something (2 kg of carrots, well, very quickly and easily, the main difficulty was to peel the carrots). And the way the disc whipped the whites for the curd cake - I have never seen this. And I thought that with a mixer it goes well ... Salad and vinaigrette with pom. Cubic attachments turned out very well. True, after trying to cut boiled potatoes 1 time, I decided that I did not like it (and my variety is by no means megapure), and the second time I cut both potatoes and carrots raw and just boiled them.

I have not yet understood what the beauty of the pulse mode is and in what cases it should be used. I don’t know if I need a hook for the dough or if I can get by with knives, and if I do, where to order it (in the service?). I have never used a citrus squeezer in my life - this experience is yet to come. There, cut lemons-oranges in half across to squeeze the juice with this nozzle?

Azure
Here, exactly about the caveman - that's me too! I thought - well, what could be in the combine - well, graters - so there is a Muhl grater / meat grinder, it's just super convenient, well, a mixer - so I have some other GDR-ovsky, as I now know, it's called planetary (there is how!), also a wonderful machine, a tiny separate chopper, then the bread maker makes the dough itself - well, what else is needed? Harvesters still cannot cut, except to chop, but they take up a lot of space, bulky ... And I just fell in love with the Cube! MY car I haven't tried much yet. I also tried a citrus juicer for the first time, it seemed that there was a bit too much left on the sides, although I tried to press it on the sides, but I didn't have oranges for juice, and I don't know how to squeeze them. But we completely love oranges, so even if I don’t learn, it’s not a big loss for us. But if the vinaigrette did not work out, it would definitely be a disaster! Fortunately, the vinaigrette turned out right away. I haven't bought the hook yet, and I don't know if I need it or not, maybe I can do it with a knife? I think ...
sweetka, and diced beets do not taste worse? I've always been taught to cook whole beets without even cutting off the tail, because it kind of loses its flavor from that. And I never even tried to cook cut
I join Anastasia's thanks for the topic!
Lydia
And beets can be boiled whole. In my opinion, Boshik cuts her normally, even a pusher is not required - just have time to throw! Azure, so far it seems to me that until we (together or separately) purchase a hook for the test, we will not find out whether we need it or not.

Yes, boiled beets cut perfectly, as well as carrots, however. It's just more convenient for me to peel raw carrots, and in a double boiler I cook carrots mixed with potatoes - the potatoes stick together less (although it's normal), but with carrots it seems to me somehow looser. Or maybe I just like to think so.
Lydia, I so rarely do anything at all for which I might need this hook, that I don’t even know ... My bread maker is kneading the dough, I’m minced meat in a saucepan with handles, just like dough for cheesecakes .. Well, I say - a caveman ... Why is this hook NECESSARY at all? Are there such operations? Or maybe I don't do it at all. Or, on the contrary, I vegetate in obscurity that I really need it.
Maybe experienced chefs will tell you.

Washing it is not very dreary - after vegetables, it's not a problem at all. The problem is that you need to immediately wipe it, collect it and put all unnecessary things in the closet (the combine itself is "registered" on the desktop), since the kitchen is small.
First, congratulations on your purchase !!!
As for washing, I shake off the water from the washed bowl and put it on the combine without snapping it, put the disassembled pusher in a wet state and put the lid on top, also without wiping it or snapping it shut. Everything dries up by itself. My Boshik also lives on the table.
I do the same with the cube attachment. I collect mine and wet, then put it in the dryer, everything dries perfectly. Save time wiping and tumble dry when drying.
I have never used a citrus squeezer in my life - this experience is yet to come. There, cut lemons-oranges in half across to squeeze the juice with this nozzle?
That's right, we cut across, hold tight and squeeze out the juice, pressing it against the yellow part of the juicer. It is advisable to buy oranges specifically for juice, they have thin partitions.

My dough is kneaded by a bread maker, minced meat with handles in a saucepan, as well as dough for cheesecakes ... Well, I say - a caveman ... Why is this hook necessary at all?
Here, just for all of the above and is necessary, so as not to pens.

I bought a dough hook because I hate to stir the minced meat with my hands, but it’s not very good with a spoon. I tried with a knife from Kubik, but he did not cope with the task. For these reasons, I ordered a hook. I have already tried it on cheesecakes, I will report on minced meat later, when the time comes for cutlets or meatballs. Here Lisss's writes that he doesn't care about rye dough! So if you have the same problems mixing some products as I do, I recommend

Lika, Thank you. I didn’t think of the simplest drying method. Didn't know that there are oranges for juice. But about the hook - curious. She always mixed cottage cheese for syrniki with her hands and never liked this occupation. Aren't knives good for him? If not, then what happens ?! Do I also need a hook? Means, I have not demanded everything from the Boshevites yet? True, I do not remember that they had it ... Eh, there is no complete happiness in the world ...

Today I kneaded yeast dough for ammchiks with knives - half the norm, it was the small amount of dough that was interesting. It turned out great. I had to bake pies. By the way, where does the information come from that in Kubiksa you can make dough from a kilogram of flour? I found the maximum of 750 g in the instructions. Or, again, I did not understand or missed something?

The hook is still very convenient for mashed potatoes, after wiping add milk, salt, butter, for those who love an egg, and with a hook in 1-2 minutes, you get a wonderful mashed potatoes.

Lydia, I generally stir the curd with a whisk from a blender. I use very little flour in cheesecakes, the dough is not heavy. I didn't try to put it in Boshik. Try with knives and tell us what you get.

I made dough for cheesecakes with knives. Very normal. And put it all at once. And very quickly. I like it.
I also think about the hook, do I need it: on the one hand, I want a complete set, and on the other, an unnecessary thing for a small kitchen ...
By the way, what is the price of the hook?

Made a curd casserole with the help of Bosch. I have homemade cottage cheese, usually in recipes they write: rub the cottage cheese through a sieve. So, for the first time I decided to experiment and used a disc for wiping. I didn't like the result very much: the curd barely passed through the holes, and a lot was left under the blades. And yesterday I just smashed the curd with knives - the result is just what you need! The result is a curd mass. True, in cheesecakes, I love pieces of cottage cheese, so perhaps it is better to knead the dough with a hook, but I don't have it
Lydia
And how to whip (or knock down? I don't know how to do it right ...) cream with the help of this combine? A whipping disc? Or a blender, which is called a mixer in the instructions? And what is the minimum fat content of the cream? The fact is that there will be few of them - ~ 200 ml. And with sugar or with powder? Or is it all the same in this case?
