Yesterday, with a knife attachment, I chopped cookies into crumbs, which did not go very well with us, and in another Bosch-MUM combine I mixed cream (1 pack of butter + 1 can of faithful condensed milk) and then mixed everything together in it. Added 2 table. spoons of brandy and a handful of poppy-for the image of ants) and blinded an anthill cake.

The harvester has arrived! I definitely liked it, even the rubber suction legs. They put it on a tiled floor - they barely ripped it off.
And a very important detail, for me in any case - it is VERY compact. Just super!
Anastasia, many thanks!

So, I am reporting. I decided to make Olivier. I studied the instructions (I’ll tell you, it is extremely well written, and there are pictures, and a description, unlike tefal, I will never forget the instructions for the marster-pilaf, it’s easy to shoot yourself).
As for the unit itself. Very, very, very good plastic. Simply pleasant to the touch, smooth-slippery, dense, the bowl is transparent, but also leaves a feeling of confidence. Knives, of course, are so sharp. So, in the instructions, endless repetitions on the topic of how to take this or that cutter are not at all superfluous. I absolutely do not like it when they repeat the same thing to me several times, but here it somehow didn’t irritate me, but it stuck in my head, even when the soap unit (it washes, by the way, is amazing).
Then the preparation itself begins. It is necessary, in general, to strictly follow the instructions, and if it is written - no more than 500 g, then you must follow this yourself. But since I make Olivier thoroughly, I chopped everything there and into this bowl, having tamped it down to the most. Everything is cut awesomely and just instantly. There is not much noise, but the motor is still more powerful than in my Tefalev one. Very convenient control. I spent about 4 and a half minutes cooking Olivier. I was terribly upset, because I still wanted to plan, plan and plan, but there was nothing left.

I dumped the whole thing into a bowl and began to try to divide the thickened, diced potatoes. It turned out that in general I tamped more than 4 liters of the finished product into the bowl, for which I paid with glued potato cubes, but with intensive stirring with a FORK in a large container, the potatoes still disintegrated into cubes. As for the onion, it was planted very well there, it was pleasant to eat. In general, these are the impressions. Now I will do it in turn, turn the eggs and onions and immediately dump the harvester, potatoes separately, carrots and cucumbers together, because they still get less potatoes. I like it.

The juicer is only for citrus fruits, but you can press as much as 3 liters at once, for example, for the New Year!
I haven’t tried the press for berries and fruits yet, but I think that juice will not come out of carrots, but something like mashed strawberries, for example, may well come out. I'll go and think over this issue, because in summer there are a lot of berries and you can somehow beat it all up: I squeezed it in the press, threw it into a blender nearby and whipped it with ice, and on a hot summer day - a sea of cool taste emotions! And not high in calories!
We need a cube cutter, we need it!
Lisss's
press for berries and boiled vegetables is a very good thing! juice from hard vegetables will not work on it, but from the cooked - super! I used 2 times - I made mashed potatoes from stewed apples, and then from plums, I coped with 5+ seeds separately, skins separately, mashed potatoes - in a bowl
Ledka

I agree with Eleanor, she washes very easily and quickly. And when working with graters, I sometimes have no waste at all.
Yes, and about the attachments ....... if they are the same (4 and 8 models), why are the prices so different? Mine is 230, and for 8 model grater-fries 640 rubles.
Asssya
I think we'll find out soon. Today I asked a question about attachments 4 and 8 on the service center website. Hopefully Monday will be answered. I still think that 4, not 8, are suitable for the MCM series.
I do not know if it is available. Didn't call. We are currently undergoing repairs, not yet to the combine, although the money has already been postponed.
Anastasia
We need nozzles from MUMIK 4 series. Nozzles from the cube cutter and from the MUM 4_, MCM5_, MCM8_ series - the same - it is written about this on the official

opposite each disc it is written where it fits and the series are listed, I quote: "Attachment for MUM 4 ... and MCM 5_ 8_"

Although God forbid, I can't understand how these discs differ from the MUM 8 series - they look the same. Let's wait for a response from the Bosch service.

Ledka
Girls, a question about cutting fries.
Everything turns out exactly, the same, but not straight, but like a crescent. And how are you?
Eleanor
In general, I did research. I took ALL shredding discs: both those that came with the Kubik, and those that I bought 8 series for MUM combines.
I cry! They are the same! I put them to each other, examined and even - what a madness - I circled them neatly with a pencil on a white sheet, cut out and applied to each other.
After everything coincided everywhere, I began to measure them on the combo and watch them sit down, are there any gaps or something like that = that, well, suddenly! somewhere and half a millimeter walks .... not walks! All the same. She spat and cut two carrots on her own Kubikovskaya and on Series 8 for MUM. Now I sit and chew carrots with sugar, because I haven't figured out where to put it. The same, including the amount of waste.
From this I conclude: since MUM is more expensive, then attachments for it should be more expensive, therefore they are produced in different packaging and with different series. Any normal German will shoot himself, but experiment like we will not, Ordnung! The order, that is, if episode 8 is written for MUM, then this is the only way the German will not break his head and will lose a certain amount of money, this is the calculation. I had the opposite situation: I bought more expensive discs, because there were no 4 series, but they fit. Someone correctly noted: they will not change the whole line, only because of the disks. They will just order different packaging and that's it.
In general, I really changed my opinion about BOSCH for the better. Previously, I did not like it, I thought it was pretentious and unreasonably expensive, there were problems with the Siemens refrigerator, quite serious, although after the repair it has been plowing for 15 years. Now I'm for BOSCH! In small household appliances, too, I really liked the quality of plastic, even, not just pleasant, but solid, expensive, not for one day ...
So take a report
Ledka
Eleanor, thank you very much! So you can go and dial 8, otherwise you will wait until 4 .............
Yes, and what size is the carrot-julienne? More than a fine grater (the one that is double-sided)?
Eleanor
I haven’t tried a julienne grater, but I haven’t figured out where to adapt it yet. There is an idea to try on it to plan onions for julienne, soups, carrots for fish under marinade. When I rub carrots on a grater for Korean carrots on a Berner grater, I never bother with the length of the chips, the main thing for me is that the shape is respected. By the way, it is necessary, by the way, to try pickling cucumbers for pickle on a cheat ...

Carrots on it are obtained in cubes - this will not work on a grater. The cubes are just right, as usual, crumbled into frying for soups.

It's brilliant then! Because in pilaf you need to plan carrots in pieces and nothing else, and I can't do it with my hands, so I always did it on a very large plastic Berner grater, but it's still not that. Now - hurray !!!
Quote: Ledka

Thank you Anastasia. So I want julienne, what else do I need to buy? An average grater. And then only big and small. And another one in our set (cubic), as I understand it, for cheese and chocolate? I didn't read it right away and rubbed the carrot on it, it turned out almost puree
So I bought separately for parmesan cheese series 8. When they brought it in and began to dismantle it, I was a little upset, because at first I decided that I had duplicated it. and then I saw and found out that a separate one, from series 8, is even smaller, that is, in order to simply, well, rub super fine cheese, so that it could pour like a pizzeria from such a large salt shaker. And the one that comes with a combine is just for fine grating of cheese, chocolate and nuts. Therefore, special. A grater for parmesan and hard cheeses is mainly needed by Italians, but fine grinding of cheese will do. I also make nut sauces very often, like satsivi. Basically, of course, they go for chicken satsivi, but just make nut sauce very well. Stored for about a week in the refrigerator, you can simply spread it on bread, or you can add it to any dishes. So, I chop the nuts for him with the biggest knife, which is supposed to chop the meat, and the girls chopped cookies, the one that hides his sharp knives in a red case. Literally half a minute and the smallest nut paste of 300 grams of walnuts is ready.

Rubbing chocolate on this grater is one ruin, it will smear all over, there is less waste in the cube cutter than in 4655. I don’t rub chocolate on it.
Everything turns out, only this combine has a lot of waste, therefore, since I have a stream of cooking or shredding, it is convenient, fast, pleasant And for a little cheese or chocolate it makes sense IMHO. I do not work either one or the other by kilogram. For this case, I have a GAMMA harvester, read the Temka if you are interested https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&Itemid=89.html89&topic=17356.0

for those who are interested in the work of a whisk in such a combine, perhaps my experience will be useful

I made a protein custard today with 2 large proteins (57g protein). my impressions were like a zebra - sometimes bad, then good, well, in order.

2 squirrels whipped perfectly into a strong foam, although at the beginning of the whipping it seemed to me that the pool at the bottom of the bowl was too shallow.

when I poured in the syrup, it seemed to me that the main difficulty would be not to get on the neck itself, and so that the bowl would withstand the temperature of the sugar syrup, after all, plastic
the bowl withstood the temperature, nothing cracked and did not melt on the neck - the neck is wide, and the trickle of syrup is thin. BUT!!! The whisk that spilled into the bowl at that time sprinkled the syrup falling on it all over the neighborhood, and my bowl, after pouring all the syrup, looked like this

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

There was nowhere to retreat, so I scraped the syrup off the walls somehow, and continued to beat. and, lo and behold! ... even with this amount of syrup, the cream turned out! this is how he looked on a whisk, and in work

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

I think this is because I had 119-120 ° C of the finished syrup, so even a small amount of it was enough to brew the protein.

The conclusion is that I will make custard protein in a food processor - it is convenient, while you cook the syrup, the protein is whipped to its peaks. only you need to pour in the syrup at the first speed in order to get less on the whisk, and then switch to a high speed of whipping. I'll go to the KH I'll ask Tortyzhka if it's possible
Margot
Lisss's, thanks for the valuable experience, I was just interested in the protein cream, how do you think the custard of how many proteins can be made, well, so that the combine can master
Lisss's
Margot, Hard to say

look, this is how much the cream of 2 proteins took in the bowl:

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

I'm afraid that out of 6 it might just sink the whisk, I would do the maximum out of 5, and then I would see how much space is left. but I don't need as much cream as needed - I will do it and tell you

whipped with a lid. at first, then I wanted the cream to cool faster, and fixed the handle from the spoon in the groove, and beat it with the lid open, although it is strictly forbidden, but not very convenient - the handle did not fit very well, and as soon as it moved away, the combine stopped. so I put the lid back on and finished off with the lid

if you pick up some little thing to fit, then you can whip with the lid open

the corolla is normal. squirrels and cream beats well. but it does not mix flour into the biscuit as well as my previous MUM 4. beats the butter, if you twist it with electrical tape, like in my photo, the cake dough will not pull - it’s too thick.

it's hard for me to compare with a disk - I have such a disk in another device, also Bosch, and I beat it cream only once. This did not cause me much delight, I am more accustomed to a whisk. I know, Anastasia whipped the squirrels with a disc on this harvester, she used to write in the topic, and put a photo - look, in my opinion, Anastasia had a good impression.

I used hooks for kneading dough - the hooks were rehabilitated in my eyes, they knead well, I liked it.

Hello. Tell me in this processor you can knead ordinary bread or pie dough? And from how much flour? I just need a combine with a vegetable cutter, and let it cut into cubes (although for me the sizes of these cubes are large), but it is necessary to knead the dough. Well, tired of carrying a bread maker home from the dacha and vice versa. So I decided to buy a harvester at the dacha, so that I could knead bread dough and cut vegetables for workpieces. Absolutely not normal! First you unscrew it properly again, then tighten it properly, make sure that everything is on the thread and if it still flows, return it, do not even hesitate! Why do you need a defective item!

Oh, girls, I'm reporting the situation from combat positions!
in fact, I'm not afraid of technology, but she respects me for that and always works faithfully! well, maybe almost always, but not this time!
the third day I became the lucky owner of the "Bosch" cube-combine. I immediately wanted to share my joy with you, but I decided to carry out a couple of tests so that there was, so to speak, something to brag about
1. chop the cabbage.
shreds cute, I can't say anything. but. The neck, where to shove the pieces, is essno, for the cabbage is narrow, so I had to cut it into thin 125 pieces. by the time of cutting and pushing the pieces, it turns out about as much as I shred with handles on a shredder. I just do not like this business ooooochen, so with a big stretch I decided that a shredder in a combine is better than by hand. yes, in fairness, I will note: there is practically no waste - this is really a plus for Boshevsky combines
2. Chop the onion thinly.
well, there wasn't much adventure here. so thin, of course, I will never cut an onion with my hands. so respect.
3. Make mayonnaise in a disc.
and this is where the interesting begins. the instructions say that the products are loaded after placing the disc in the bowl! and here someone wrote that you need eggs first, and then a disk.no! first drive, then eggs! but, as I understand it, none of my manipulations would have saved the cup from the vile, deep and eternal furrow that this disc leaves behind at the bottom! either the Boschists didn't think of something there, or the skaters who collect it all didn't take a lot of steam, but there really is a ledge on the disc that enters the plastic of the bowl at such speeds like a knife in warm oil!
the whisk disc looks like this
Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

and the traces from it in the bowl are as follows:
Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!
even plastic shavings remained in the upper left corner, even after several minutes of operation.

In general, I thought: a couple more minutes and the bowl would have remained without a bottom! in short, I wanted to launch this disk like a flying saucer over the city of Paris!
yes, if anyone doubted, the mayonnaise did not work out; the mass stratified into butter and eggs and floated in this state on the surface of the disc.
but we are not used to retreating!
4. Make mayonnaise with a mixer.
pouring the sources of the future mayonnaise into a mixer, I decided to add an egg and butter. so sometimes a stratified product can be reanimated. but neither this addition, nor my ritual dances at the combine, helped the layers to mix and become mayonnaise! I got out of colt holster box of her beloved submersible Brown, poured her failure into a cup and ... in 30 seconds she received the most excellent mayonnaise!
visiting the Boshevsky site, you can see a video on how to use these all sorts of mega-attachments. and then an epiphany dawned on me: both with the disc and in the bowl, oil must be added drop by drop. thin trickle.
conclusion: for me, as a person who is used to making mayonnaise in 30 seconds, dumping all the products at the same time, these jumps at the combine with a cup of oil in hand are not at all suitable
5. Well, of course, the Kubikov nozzle was left for the sweets!
and it was decided to make Olivia :) for which purpose carrots and potatoes were boiled in the microscope, sausage and other products were purchased.
I have good potatoes ... for mashed potatoes ... that's, in principle, mashed potatoes and it turned out. the cubes stuck together into a white, viscous mass. the carrots also stuck together, because they were kind of soft. and as far as I understand, the harvester does not like it and just spits out such products into the snot. excuse me.
I didn't have big cucumbers, so it was decided to dispose of the gherkins that were in the refrigerator for a long time. gherkins are such maaaaaaaa small cucumbers. they just fit perfectly between the nozzle and the lid of the bowl, so there were no cucumber cubes at the bottom, but slightly wounded gherkins circled on the nozzle without any desire to drop down. I had to open the lid and ... cut the cucumbers with hands. Conclusion: both large and small vegetables and fruits - do not eat good for the combine.
the sausage was cut without much ado. but due to the mashed potatoes and carrots, my salad looked pretty miserable, such a sticky bourden in mayonnaise, although it was delicious. and if you do not invite nasty culinary critics to dinner, then everything is eaten quickly and with pleasure.
6. And now it's time to wash all this action.
in fact, almost the entire harvester is disassembled to small parts, which greatly facilitates the life of the scrubber. but! the bottom of the mixer flatly refused to unscrew. neither with your hands, nor "help yourself with the mixer lid", as the instruction advises, nor a tsunami of curses that I rained down on this part in the hope that it would give slack. nothing helped. I somehow walked my fingers over the knives inside the cup, sprinkled with a washcloth outside and began to wait for my husband ...
however, he also failed to unscrew the bottom with his hands. and when I saw him with a hammer and a chisel, I went into the next room. I became somewhat nervous
the mixer did not give up an inch even at the sight of such heavy artillery! no matter how hard my husband tried.
The next day, when the faithful left for work, I once again examined the mixer cup and came to the conclusion that it either flew off the thread, or, on the contrary, was overly screwed on it. in short, the mixer needs to be changed. otherwise, it is not even an hour, it will scatter into small fragments as soon as I am going to turn it on. the decision was made to call the service center and order a new cup. in secret from the faithful.well, I didn't want to upset him, I found the phones and decided to call ...
and here my fairy tale ends, essno, hepi-endom! the spouse called and said: you scroll the bottom a little harder, I opened it this morning
Why all my long opus, dear? and to ensure that the newly-baked owners do not repeat my mistakes, and the potential ones appreciate their relationship with the equipment. since the Bosch turned out to be a good combine harvester, but with character and personal whims. so you still have to try very hard to tame it
sorry for a lot of bukoff

By advice Lisss's for the first time in my life I made shortbread dough in a food processor with knives. Well, what can I say, I didn't even think that with knives it turns out so well. The dough was ready in 1.5 minutes. For some reason, it seemed to me earlier that a crumb from butter and flour with a combine cannot work out, that you need to grind this crumb with your hands. In general, I mentally prepared for a long time, but then I still wanted a tube for this https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=23911.0 to make a recipe, especially since the author writes there that he also chopped the dough with a combine. In general, the dough turned out to be wonderful, very elastic, airy and homogeneous. It's another matter that the tubes have not been removed from the molds again, but this is a different story. I will buy other cones for horns. And I will be sure to chop the dough with a combine.
Lisss's, thank you so much for the video tutorial on the test!

Sweetka, yes ... Somehow you and Boshik did not have love at first sight. Of all the misadventures described above, only cubed potatoes did not work out for me, as I just didn’t boil them in water, and in steam and in saline solution. The "puree" variety was caught, but everything else was cut perfectly for vinaigrette and salad, down to crab sticks. Before turning on the blender for the first time, I immediately unrolled and wrapped it up so that I could spin it myself later. Affected by the experience of communication with the chocolate girl. I agree with the preparation of mayonnaise, it is better with Brown in a glass. Although I whipped the whites for the biscuit with a disc, this was due to the absence of a mixer.

Anastasia, about shortbread dough I agree 100%. Boshik copes with him superbly.

Hello, I am delighted with your messages and characteristics of the Boshik-cube, but after reading all the pages of the forum, I still do not understand the blender in it is good or not? If bad, then what? If cocktails are made from frozen milk (as advised), is it also good in it or not? Is it possible to make mayonnaise? In general, the question is: what to buy a Bosch submersible blender with a bowl chopper with a power of 750 W for 3330r. or a bosh-cube for 6290 rubles (though there is hardly a place for it in the kitchen).
Lika
Lena82, the blender in it is ordinary, he prepares cocktails like any other. It is better not to make mayonnaise in it, because it turns out immersed in a tall glass, better and faster.

The hand blender and the Bosch cube are completely different things, they are not even worth comparing. One will not replace the other, but it will complement perfectly. I have a Brown Hand Blender, quite a rich set, but I don't use everything. Basically for puréing soups and sauces in a saucepan, in a tall glass (included) I make mayonnaise or glaze, in a small chopping bowl I chop 1-2 onions, a few cloves of garlic, a bunch of herbs, a handful of nuts. But, I can’t make dough for them, chop a bowl of cabbage, a bowl of lettuce, rub a saucepan with mashed potatoes, and much more. It seems like a blender is always in use and Boshik is not idle. I've got enough of a good mixer. If Brown were not there, then a mixer with a small chopping bowl, an immersion nozzle and a tall glass would have been taken with the Bosch-cube.
Anastasia
And on the contrary, in such a blender, mayonnaise is excellent, but with a mixer or submersible, it does not work.
