all recipes indicate quick-boiled flakes, and I have a long one - 15-20 minutes,
I also use "long" flakes everywhere, grind if only into minced meat, and usually soak in baked goods.
Chardonnay
gala10, Galina, apparently, all the recipes indicate quick-cooking flakes, and I have a long one - 15-20 minutes, I put them in a cartoon to cook all night. Therefore, only grind. How are you doing?
gala10
Rita, I take long-boiled flakes (I don't have any others) and don't bother. I do it exactly according to the recipe. Sometimes I add dried cherries or cranberries.
This recipe is my favorite.
Lerele
Chardonnay, I made all the cookies that were advised here, but most of all I like this

And I love this. Oatmeal cookies Instead of flour, you just need to grind the flakes in a coffee grinder.

And my favorite oatmeal cookie is this, it's just from the topic (not English), no name, thanks Sequins for it, instead of brown sugar, I take the usual one and add 1 tbsp / l of dark molasses, nuts if desired, aroma when baking

A week ago, it literally baked. I liked it very much, I also had to attach the oatmeal. Attached .... went to buy another

1.5 tbsp. oatmeal
200 g sugar
100 g butter at room temperature
200 g wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
Beat the soft butter with sugar, add the egg and beat again. Add everything else and knead the dough. Divide it into 16 pieces and roll into balls. Put on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or a rug and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 gr.
It turned out very tasty and fast, I recommend

Elena, so I also don't remember green tea in the old recipe. Everything was just there.

Tatyana, in this recipe below Tanya-Shurshunchik wrote, it seems to me, the correct recipe:
"... in my book" Recipes "in 1964, it is slightly different." Homemade cookies "for 3 tbsp. flour, 2-3 eggs, 250 g butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. . soda, 1/2 vanillin powder. "

I'll try to make it.

Thank you very much for your help!

k @ wka, don't you need to grind the flakes?

It is desirable to grind. I ground it, even though it wasn't written in the recipe.
And I had cereals that did not require cooking. But I think that with any it will be delicious if grind
Sorry, girls, did not immediately answer. Didn't visit for a couple of days

Does anyone have an interesting salad with smoked fish?
I really like the Kamchatka salad from our Culinary School.
Lesson number 4. Pickles. Stewed beef. Sauces for beef.
There, in the first post after the main dishes, this salad is given as an option.
Anna67
And I like the simplest composition: fish, potatoes, carrots, gherkins.
Carrots are slightly larger than potatoes, if you do not add peas and eggs. If you add something to reduce, of course. Dressing mayonnaise and dill, if desired and available. The ratio of fish to "garnish" vegetables is about half. Cucumbers can be salted, but I like gherkins for smoked ones.
Recently I discovered that smoked chicken breast in a salad completely replaces smoked fish for me, solved the problem with taking out fish bones
