elly1 addresat Thank you very much for your advice. Of course, I understood that I needed to go over the topic first, and then with questions ... But I really wanted to join your company. I have already studied 10 pages of the topic, took a lot of useful things for myself, including downloaded the instructions for Cucina. I even bought milk and sourdough today, I will put yogurt at night. I will definitely unsubscribe what happens. Well, then I went to watch the topic.
gavira
I looked through the whole topic, many thanks to everyone who shared tips and recipes, printed a whole book. While I am a newbie with this CF, I will use the advice of the "elders", if I have interesting ideas, I undertake to share here. By the way, from my daughter Yummi500jb, I will definitely take a saucepan from her and try it on with Aurora. True, this is difficult now, because every day for the little one, vegetables are steamed in it, and I don't go to my daughter every day, but eventually I will find an opportunity.
Now about yoghurt: after reading here that cream was also added to 3.2% milk, I took "Health" 6% (I still said goodbye to the figure long ago), Bifivit Vivo sourdough. I did it as in the instructions for the leaven - 200-gram jars of baby food and poured boiling water over the lids for them, the milk stood for half a day on the table, while I sterilized the jars, studied the instructions, put the bag on the battery. The leaven, diluted with water, was poured directly into the bag, crushed, poured into 6 jars (it turned out not quite full, there was a little space left so that you could add fruit later). She put a linen napkin on the bottom of the saucepan, put the jars, covered them with lids, but did not twist them, poured water at room temperature, 3/4 of the height of the jars, and set "yogurt" by default at 8 o'clock (it was already midnight). At 6 in the morning I woke up, ran to see what I already have there. And there .... my dear mother, I have never seen such yogurt - a song, just like jelly, no syvarotka, I licked my lips, turned off the cartoon, screwed the lids into the refrigerator. Just 6 jars are ideally placed on the shelf in the door. So 6 hours was enough. Today I ate 2, gave 3 to my daughter (she said that they never got so thick). Unfortunately, as luck would have it, yesterday I took pictures at a handicraft exhibition and suddenly my camera "ordered to live a long time", and I did not come across such a problem, it writes "lens error" and when turned off the lens does not fold and, naturally, does not take pictures. I took a picture on my husband's mobile phone (I have a phone without bells and whistles), but I can't post a photo today, my husband's computer cords are at work. But I will definitely show you after the weekend.
Sorry for the verbosity, but emotions are off the charts.
Sofim
gavira,
congratulations on a good experience!
But my yogurt did not work out, it came out like a non-acidic kefir to the taste and with whey. Probably need to buy normal starter cultures, but my hands do not reach

A small FAQ on MV "Aurora".
About programs. There are only 10 of them + "Bain-marie" (heat preservation), the switching of programs is carried out by the "Functions" button, pressing the "Bain-marie" button during the operation of any program, interrupts the action of the program and puts the MB into the standby mode for selecting programs.
Two programs - "Frying" and "Steamer" have 3 subprograms - Vegetables, Fish, Meat. Switching between subroutines is carried out by pressing the "Select dishes" button. You can press the program and select the time according to the type of food you are going to cook. Time everywhere, except for "Cooking", is preset, but it can be changed in some programs by pressing the "Time" key, and then "Clock" and, if necessary, "Minutes".
Work of programs:
1. Cooking is a program for boiling rice, buckwheat and other cereals, since the time is determined during the cooking process. The program is automatic and runs for about 50 minutes.(It depends on the amount of added water, the more it needs to be evaporated, the longer the program will run.)
2. Baking - time - 50 minutes. Cannot be changed (You can restart the program).
3. Yogurt - 6 to 12 hours. Step - 30 minutes.
4. Crust - 1 - 2 hours, step - 5 minutes. By default, the program immediately after starting sets the cooking time 1h 30m, it can be changed. The program is designed for the bottom crust. Pilaf in "Aurora" is the "Crust" mode, stewing is in progress, and at the end of frying (a complete analogue of the pilaf program in Panasonic). Pilaf in "Aurora" is done on the "Crust" mode. On the "Frying" mode, fry the onions, the same carrots, fried more, the same meat, fry a little more. Pour rice on top of the fried onions, carrots and meat, put spices, salt, a head of garlic and pour boiling water in a ratio of 1 to 2 (rice with water). We set the "Crust" mode for 1 hour 30 minutes and wait. We take not ordinary rice for pilaf, but steamed rice and that's it. OK !!
5. Stewing - 2 - 12 hours. Step - 30 minutes.
6. Soup - 1 - 4 hours. Step - 10 minutes. The same program is an analogue of "Milk Porridge". Milk porridge is usually prepared in a ratio of 1Mst. cereals by 5 Mst. liquid (for example 3 Mst. milk + 2 Mst. water). The more liquid, the thinner the porridge.
7. Steamer - 5 - 60 minutes. Step - 1 min. There are 3 subprograms - Vegetables, Fish, Meat.
8. Pasta - 8 - 20 min. Step - 1 min. Pasta in the CF falls asleep after the signal is given to boil the liquid.
9. Frying - 5 - 60 min. Step - 1 min. There are 3 subprograms - Vegetables, Fish, Meat.
10. Heating - 20 min. The time cannot be changed. This program is for reheating cold food.

After each program, except for "Yoghurt", the multicooker goes into heat preservation mode ("Bain Marie"). It can only be disabled manually by pressing this key again. This mode works up to 24 hours.
Delayed start works with programs 1,4,5,6 and 7. Example: it is necessary to cook buckwheat milk porridge by 7.00. Currently 23.00h. We fall asleep in MV 1 Mst. buckwheat, pour 3 Mst. milk and 2 Mst. water. We close the MV lid. Press the "Functions" button until the "Soup" window lights up (by default it is 1 hour, this time can be changed). Then press the "Program" button, the time on the display starts flashing. Since the time from 23.00 to 7.00 is equal to 8 hours, then by pressing the "Clock" button we set 8 hours and press the "Start" button. The Soup program will start at 6.00. and after 1 hour. at 7.00 he will prepare buckwheat milk porridge.

The step is the value by which the program time changes when the "Minutes" key is pressed.

I want to tell you a little about my almost first impressions of Aurora and some comparisons with Yummi.
By the way, I also made yogurt from homemade milk. Like the first one, I set it to 8 o'clock by default, bifivit sourdough, did it during the day, thinking that in 6 hours I would see how things were going. The milk was pre-boiled, cooled to about 35 degrees. I also sterilized the jars. But then I started spinning around the house, I forgot and he stood with me for all 8 hours. In general, the yogurt turned out, but in comparison with the previous one there was a little whey on top in the jars, the jelly is not so "dense" (but it did not pour out of the jars when turning over) and tastes more sour than the previous one. Perhaps this is because the yoghurt stood 2 hours longer? Tomorrow I'll try again to make it from homemade milk.
Then I decided to cook "something" from fish, vegetables and rice. Once upon a time this dish I got by chance and we liked it. I have done it many times at Yummi. Here's what I did:
Cut 2 small fillets into small pieces and for the "frying" program, after pouring a little vegetable oil. I chose to fry vegetables, because 20 minutes is enough for me. The time did not turn on, the dashes were running (in Yummi the countdown starts immediately), meanwhile I rubbed the carrots into a saucepan, cut the onions there (the time doesn’t turn on, although it “squirts” in a serious way, interfered repeatedly, did not stick, but it stuck a little - in Yummi there was no such thing - well, yes, the difference in the coating of the pots was already mentioned). In general, when the time turned on, it turned out that 5 minutes was enough for me to get what was fried to the desired condition, turn off the frying, add rice, frozen corn, spices, salt, water (by eye) and turn on the "cooking". My "dish" turned out as always - delicious, gobbled up quickly. She also made millet porridge with smoked cheek and onions, also "boiled". I didn’t hear the signal, went into the kitchen, when I stood on the "bain-marie" for about 40 minutes, but did not dry out, did not fry, ate it.
So for the time being, it still bothers me that the countdown does not start immediately, but I hope I get used to it.
Grypana
Girls. about the milk. I make milk porridge on Stew, it does not run away anywhere, though for 1 cartoon cup. Baked milk, 2 liters I make on Stew. The "Yogurt" function is great for making yogurt and fermented baked milk. Only I have Orion, and they are clones with Aurora. If this somehow helps. take for a hint.
addresat
gavira, I cook millet porridge and cook all the viscous porridge on the SOUP mode. But rice, buckwheat, pearl barley - where you need to evaporate the water in the Cooking mode.

And the countdown does not start immediately only in some programs - Cooking, Frying and Pasta.

I have been using Aurora for a year now. The programs are all very good, some are in demand more, some less. I like everything about Aurora, except for the cup itself. If not for the bowl from Yummi ..... In general, I use my own saucepan only for baking (not rounded bottom), placing parchment. In short, everything burns to the bowl! If anyone finds out about the possibility of purchasing a replacement ceramic coated bowl, please let me know!

And here, somewhere on the forum, a joint venture of bowls with ceramics for the Viscount was organized, but they also seem to fit the Aurora women.
Tatyana_
Hello everyone! Sp on ceramic bowls Viscount did not take place. I have the same problem with the bowl, it burns and there are scratches. Lately I don't use it at all. I'm looking for a replacement for Teflon, while it's dull. Ceramic and aluminum bowls are also sold in Russia. But delivery to Ukraine is very expensive.
Sofim
Can you tell us more about where bowls suitable for the Aurora are sold in Russia? Maybe I'll ask my husband when he will go ..
elly1
I also ordered a bowl from 601 Viscount, but it didn't work out. A month ago I bought a bowl from a large Panasonic. Expensive, of course, but nothing sticks. I try to use it carefully so as not to scratch it.

sofim, I met on 🔗... Redmond 4502 ceramic multi-bowl bowl fits in Aurora. you can buy them in Moscow. I can't insert a link. And not ceramics, these are Nack / Sybovar bowls. But they are in Tomsk

Yes, from Panasonic-18 the bowl is suitable for Aurora. I bought it (the bowl) a new one for 410 UAH, and the whole MV Aurora for 460 UAH. Therefore, I want to find something cheaper for Aurora
elly1
Sofim, I completely agree with you, but everything sticks too much in the Aurora bowl. I make yogurt in it, cook first courses and carcass, if I don't need to fry anything. I bake, fry and bake meat in a pan from Panasonic.

I am slowly mastering my Aurora. I made a lot of various fermented milk products on Yoghurt: bifivit, yogurt, kefir and cottage cheese (for my granddaughter), today Symbilact has loaded - it's all from viva starter cultures. I take different milk - both homemade and store milk. Everything works out great. I even stopped sterilizing the jars - I washed them, dried them, and go ahead. Today for the first time I made a cake on baked goods. The recipe is my old one, which I baked in the oven before, and today I used MV. After reading about burning, I decided not to bother with washing the saucepan later, I closed the bottom and sides with parchment for baking. This is how it turned out Multicooker Aurora AU 250 (put a little frozen blueberries on top). This is him against the background of my Aurora, and in the background is my second assistant - a bread maker. And this is a cutaway cupcake Multicooker Aurora AU 250 Baked for 50 + 50 minutes. Taste, as always, normal.
gavira
Yes, the recipe is simple: I beat 2 eggs with a glass of sugar (I have a simple faceted glass with a "belt" still "prehistoric"), not like on a biscuit (so that the spoon stands), but a little, you need to add a glass of yogurt (this is in the recipe) - I added a 200-gram jar of my yogurt (By the way, yesterday's symbilact turned out to be excellent in 5.5 hours), 125 g of creamy margarine, melted and cooled - beat all this a little, add 2 glasses of flour, into which add 1.5 ( approx) tsp baking powder - the dough is like thick (very) sour cream. As a filler, you can use raisins (pre-steamed, dried and sprinkled with flour), candied fruits, you can add 1-2 tsp in half of the dough. cocoa - in general, then everything depends on fantasy. Well, I wrote about the baking process above.
Sofim
Not a lot of 50 + 50 baked goods? I think such a cupcake would have been baked even earlier.
makabusha
I usually bake in this way: 50 + 50 minutes. Yesterday, the zebra was baked according to the forum recipe.

So if we took a bookmark for baking in multicans and the baking time would be multicooker, and if the measure is a faceted glass, this is 2 cycles in a cartoon. It's always like this with me.

It is logical. I also have everything for 100 minutes. Well, at least 90.
gavira
This was my first baked goods (at MV). I read somewhere here that exactly 2 cycles were baked. After the first cycle, I looked - the cake was completely raw. On the second I looked after 30 minutes - it seemed that it was a little damp. After 40 minutes I checked it again - it seemed to be normal, but since I hadn't burned anywhere, I decided to let it be 2 full cycles. There was no burning, the paper separated easily and the saucepan did not even need to be washed - it was completely clean. And the multi-glass is so small, I have not used it yet, for me this amount is not enough - so I take the old tested faceted one.
addresat
And I have biscuits - those that are flour, sugar and eggs - are baked in 50 minutes.

And I have biscuits - those that are flour, sugar and eggs - are baked in 50 minutes.
So the biscuit was baked in 50 minutes. Made on 4 eggs + 1 multi-glass of sugar + 1 multi-glass of flour. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take a picture - I didn't have time to cool down, my daughter arrived, and even my husband, and I wanted to taste it right away - in general, the biscuit disappeared, so to speak, in its original form (without any impregnation creams). It turned out not so very tall (approx. 6 centimeters), but what to take from the multi-glasses? I got used to measuring everything faceted, but that was the original recipe. But it was very airy, my daughter said - this is a real biscuit. I took the recipe on the forum Next time, as I bake, I will try to photograph everything and give a link to the recipe.
And now I want to say about the saucepan: in my opinion, in this topic it was about the possibility of using a Yummi saucepan in Aurora? Yesterday I finally took a saucepan from her MV Yummi-500jb from my daughter.
It turned out to be literally a few mm higher (somewhere 3-4). I entered the Aurora (a little tight), but these mm did not allow me to close the lid. Again, I don’t remember exactly where I read that they nevertheless closed the lid, but I didn’t “rape” my Aurora, I decided that if I care for and cherish her saucepan (and I will!), Then my own will serve me for a long time ...

The lid closes tightly, and then does not hold at all. But there is a way out. I insert a toothpick, just a tip, The lid holds up perfectly. If not for this saucepan, then I don't know at all how it would have been.

Angela, where are you putting the toothpick?
And the other day an incident happened to me: the Varka program did not turn off on time. I look at the clock, that it’s time, as it were, and the lights are all running and running. I went there, and there buckwheat has already begun to pester. Well, I turned it off myself. It will be necessary to try to cook the porridge somehow in this mode.

Just put in a saucepan, pre-marinated, on the simmering mode. For lard, 2 hours is a lot, so turn off early.
Grypana
And I stuff the lard with a slot with garlic, rub it with spices and salt, leave it to lie down for a while, marinate, then pour some water down the sleeve and into the double boiler, of course. For 1 hour. The fat is very cool.

Good evening! I need Help, I baked chocolate on boiling water in a multicooker (Aurora), turned it on for 50 minutes three times, it first rose, but during such a baking time it was not baked, remains sticky in the middle, and sagged. What is the problem?

I will not help, because in the cartoon I was baking a charlotte current. But I heard that Boiling Water Chocolate itself is quite capricious and it is not always possible to make friends with it the first time.

Boiling chocolate is my favorite cake !!!! I bake it exclusively in the cartoon. It turns out ALWAYS!!!! pah, pah, pah .. :) Baked at 50 + 40 min. During baking I never drop in, only at the end of 15 minutes before the end. Maybe that's your problem!
Sometimes it is sticky in the center - then I add another 5-10 minutes of baking. But so that it does not bake in 150 minutes - this does not happen

It's better without a double boiler, and throw bacon in the sleeve straight into the pan. Otherwise I spoiled my cartoon

How do you set the time 50 + 40 min.?

How do you set the time 50 + 40 min.?
50 minutes - this is the standard time of the "Baking" mode, when it ends the multicooker beeps. Add 40 min. this means - after the signal, we start the "Baking" mode again and control the time on our own, for example, using a timer on a mobile phone. After 40 min. turn off the multicooker manually.

Hello dear multicooker !!!!!! I am happy to announce, finally, I became the proud owner of the Cartoon !!! There is no limit to joy, especially since when I decided on the model, as always, she was nowhere to be found! But all the same, I found her! For three days now I've been experimenting, everything turns out superb! I have a question for you, I read it somewhere, but I can't find how to properly cook eggs in a cartoon? Crumpled and steep? ... I will be very grateful. And also, I made yogurt from Actimel, why does it turn out sour? Did you do it on the program and even add sugar? Small twists his nose .... but I really want to eat! Thank you in advance!
makabusha
I haven't boiled eggs, I won't tell you, but yogurt always turns out like this, I used to say that it is sour, but neutral in taste, I always add sugar directly to the milk before fermentation.
Nadlen-n
Hello everyone! From the day I bought my Aurora, I cook everything in it, every day I am amazed at how delicious it comes out !!! ... I was very impressed by the cutlets, so airy, juicy, I just love it! But the campaign is multi, there were some questions, tell me, please ... 1) In what modes or for what dishes is the valve fully opened? 2) What is the best regimen for milk porridges? She cooked the usual pshonaya, for a liter of milk, but she all the same and the valve spattered, and in general it boiled strongly, soup mode. Maybe it should be so? Otherwise, everything is simple. A lot of recipes, for different cartoons, are perfect for ours, the main thing is to look at the power and build on it, increase or decrease the cooking time. And, here's another, SHORT mode ... ?? What to cook on it or use it as an intermediate?
makabusha
If the soup mode does not fit, but you have to use the "extinguishing" mode .. there the temperature is lower, but then you will have to turn off the cartoon manually .. because the extinguishing mode sets the minimum time to 2 hours. There are also general tips for preventing the porridge from running away: 1) grease the saucepan with oil in the form of a strip above the surface of the liquid. Liquid will not come out through this oily strip, 2) dilute milk with water. Maybe someone else will tell you the methods. I am not a lover of cereals, so I can only retell what I heard. Somewhere there are many discussions on this topic, can someone tell me where exactly.

As for the valve, you got it wrong. We don't have a pressure cooker, there is no pressure here. The valve must be opened and closed. Is that just for washing.
Almost nobody uses the "crust" mode. It happens that you need to quickly evaporate the liquid in the dish, if it is excessive, or specially brown the crust in some dish. Then you can use this mode, but as far as I know, it still remains unclaimed.
