Yes, this huge silver color, on which the lid is closed.

addresat, dont be upset!!! My friend and I bought multicooker together. With my cartoon, everything is fine, but my friend immediately opened the lid by itself. Her husband changed the spring in this big gray button, she was very frail there. Now everything is O.K. Look, maybe you can replace it. I can ask you in detail.

Yes, please ask about the button. My lid began to close badly after I cooked bacon for a couple in the sleeve and the lid tore off ... My husband disassembled the button - assembled it: the lid still did not close completely. And now the button also pops out of the grooves during cooking. We have to push back ...

Girls, hello everyone. She promised about the cover. So: the lid of the new multicooker opened itself from time to time, even with any movement near it. We thought there was something about the spring, but it turned out to be much easier. There is a plastic protrusion on the lid of the multicooker, which should fit into the groove of the multicooker itself. It turned out to be very short (factory defect). The problem was solved as follows: they took a piece of plastic from an old cassette holder and glued the length of this protrusion with superglue. They have been using it for 8 months and everything is fine. I don't know anything else.

I think you can. I can cook a dish with a tomato in the morning, and only transfer it to another dish in the evening. It's okay.

I also thought to lengthen this tongue. But you don't want to glue with superglue. All the same, chemistry and the lid decently heats up during cooking ...

A slow cooker is a good thing, but as a bread maker, it still falls short. Therefore, I decided to buy a bakery, and the choice for Aurora AU 481. In my opinion, very nothing, taking into account 13 programs, 2 scoops and an outgoing product for 1250gr .. But I did not find something on the forum and a word about it, maybe poke your nose or whoever used it, tell me to take or ..?

Girls, tell me, I set the yogurt to cook on the yogurt mode for 8 hours and it didn't ferment. I just poured milk with sourdough (Good Food) into glass jars without lids and put it in a slow cooker. Maybe it was necessary to close it or put it in a pot of water?

Faino4ka, of course, water had to be poured into the MV saucepan. And only then lower the jars of the future yogurt. Cover with lids, rather from condensation. Many do it just in a saucepan, without jars. Read the cooking technology in the topic (at the beginning) or in the recipes. Much has been said about yoghurt ...

I regularly cook kefir in a slow cooker. The easiest way: boiled milk, cooled it to about 40 degrees, put a couple of spoons of sourdough and in the switched off multitask for the night - ready-made kefir in the morning. Or the second option: I put a mug with milk and sourdough at room temperature in the multitask - without water and turn on the Yogurt mode. I turn it off after 4 hours, or even earlier. Without opening the multi, I stand it for several hours and everything turns sour. I have never had such a thing that did not turn sour. What about your leaven? I am using Narine.

Look at the very beginning of this topic, I wrote in detail about how yogurt is prepared.
In general, were the jars warm? Was the multicooker counting down? And milk hasn't changed at all in consistency and taste? If it was heated even at the lowest temperature for 8 hours, then at least the souring process should begin ...
Once I just forgot to turn on the program, but the milk was warm enough and the yogurt was fermented anyway ... the multicooker kept the temperature of the milk like a thermos)) but with cold milk and the program not turned on, the milk should remain the same.
If everything was warm, the program worked, then the catch is only in the sourdough, and rather in the way and time of its storage. If it was stored, for example, in a freezer, then it will not be stored when transferred to the refrigerator, the bacteria will die. If the expiration date has passed, the bacteria will also die and will not ferment. Another option - if you warmed the milk before throwing the sourdough, then maybe it was too hot for bacteria ... in short, you need to analyze everything, but it is better to try again to know for sure that this is not an accident.

water is poured so that the heating is smoother, maybe not so strong (for some, it seems like some models of multicooker are overheated in yogurt mode) and to preserve the MV saucepan, it is believed that it is harmful for it to warm up without anything.
I used to make yoghurt in jars and without water, yoghurt still worked. Therefore, the water in our MV is most likely a measure aimed at preserving the saucepan, and just in case for a more comfortable and smooth heating of the jars. I guess the water wasn't the problem.

I do not burn anything, but it takes a long time to bake. I bake everything for 100 minutes, set the mode 2 times.

Do you put something on the bottom of the saucepan? I always lay out the bottom with parchment. And I often bake this cake - I love it.
Did you bake something other than chocolate? As a result?

Baking a biscuit. It turned out good. Yesterday I baked chocolate in boiling water in the oven. I got up, only in the middle I got a hump. But the cake came out dry and crumbly. My husband liked it. One of these days I'll try again in the cartoon. I'll hold it longer.

Chocolate on boiling water itself is very whimsical, not everyone succeeds the first time, (I haven't tried it myself, but I read a lot about Formuchans reviews in different branches about this), so don't be guided by it at all.

The biscuit was baked in a cartoon - it turned out to be very high - 7-8cm. The sides did not smear anything so that the biscuit would rise well. I thought I wouldn't pull it out - nothing came out. Divided it into three cakes. Cream curd sour cream + kiwi. Incredible taste ...

a link to the recipe?)))

And the recipe is prefabricated: cakes are the usual biscuit recipe 1 glass of sugar, 1 glass of flour, 4-5 eggs (depending on size), I also added 0.5 hours. spoons of baking powder. Baked in a multi for 75 minutes. Cream 0.5 liters of sour cream 25% fat, 0.5 kg of cottage cheese, sugar to taste - beat everything until smooth. The cakes were soaked in liquid syrup from apricot jam (you can use ordinary sugar syrup or whatever is available on the farm). Assembling the cakes - cream kiwi in pieces - cake - cream kiwi ... and so on. There was a lot of cream, so I smeared the whole cake with it. Decorate as you wish. If something is not clear - crap it!

In the new Auroras, the cover has become removable !!!!!! Or rather, not the lid itself, but the plate on the lid, you get the idea.

If necessary, in the evening I can take pictures of the cover of my old Aurora and my mother's new one.

Multi-attackers, help pliz!
Your cartoon, as I understand it, is standing. But the question is - how is it with milk? You need a cartoon that is hot enough (so that you can fry it humanly), but also sharpened under milk. Is it about Aurora, or looking for something less powerful than Dex and Aurora, but more than Polaris and Viscount?
The question is urgent, and therefore I cannot re-coat the entire branch. I would be extremely grateful for your help.

Sori, I can’t help, I don’t eat milk ((
Sorry. Have you heard from the co-sponsors about milk? Or do all its owners, like you, do not respect milk? There is simply no time to study the entire branch. I already read it when I chose the cartoon for myself. But I myself, like you, do not use milk (I used to think so, until I bought the cartoon), so I did not pay attention to this issue. And now my brother urgently needed a cartoon with cereals and roasts.
makabusha
The general picture, as far as I remember, is this: there were some complaints, but most of the milk porridge is supposedly made without problems.
You can immediately stipulate general recommendations: grease a saucepan with butter at a level above which the porridge should not rise, dilute the milk with water, and be careful with the initially capricious porridge, which go on a very fine substrate, such as yachka. It is better not to do such in a multicooker or under supervision. I would recommend a milk cooker for them.
addresat
Milk porridge is cooked normally. Milk doesn't run away. At the expense of frying - people fry normally. I very rarely use the Fry mode - I use the Bake mode more. I'm very happy with the cartoon!
elly1
My milk porridges are cooked normally, without running away, in the soup mode (for 1 multi-glass of cereal, 1 liter of milk). Fries well, only the meat sticks when frying. I wash the saucepan by soaking it with boiling water and soda.
azaza
And only meat burns? How is a saucepan really flimsy? How long have you been using it?
elly1
I have been using it for three months now, very intensively. The saucepan is not even very squishy, heavy, solid, but the coating is somehow sticky. I fry meat in it, when I cook pilaf, so it gets welded, but when I add rice and boiling water, everything sticks off. Baking sticks a little, but if it stands for 10 minutes, it is shaken out without problems. The girls are putting parchment paper underneath. I cut a circle out of a thin silicone mat on the bottom and put it on the oven.

Take me to your company - yesterday I was presented with an "Aurora". Actually - it was my order, I wanted a MV with the function of yogurt. I, of course, previewed information about different MVs, so I settled on Aurora or Orion. When I unpacked it yesterday and took the saucepan, I was a little shocked, although I was ready. I used Yummi with my daughter for about a year - and got used to that pot. Here the bucket is "more modest", but I think I'll get used to it. There is practically no instruction (if you can call it that). And the first question right away - is the steam valve removed somehow? I constantly filmed and dried in Yummi, but there everything was described in the instructions, but here I am afraid to drag it too much. Okay, now I will carefully start reading the whole topic and prepare myself an "instruction" based on your impressions. See you!
elly1
The valve can be pulled out easily - pull on the black protrusion at the back. It can be disassembled by turning the lower part while holding the tabs. When assembling, refer to the arrows on the bottom of the valve. They are not very visible (black on black).
