Hello everyone! Owners of Aurora, tell me, is it better to cook milk porridge with "soup" or "Stew"? At first, the "Soup" boiled too violently, the porridge tried to escape, although the surface was oiled. I want to get the hang of it and leave it on the timer.
Sofim
I cook in soup in water, and add milk to the finished one.
And if you want completely milk, then you can try stewing, only there the time is 2 hours, isn't it too much? ..
Tatyana_
Yes, 2 hours of course is a bit too much .. Sofim, but no problems on the water? Can you sleep well?
SupercoW
But does Auror have problems with milk ??? like everything was ok ...
I cook milk in perfezz on SUP, nothing runs away. yes, a slight boil in the beginning, but not enough for milk to escape.
I always do it on a timer, I never smear the edges.

EXTINGUISHING, of course, is too much for milk ...
Sofim
I never cooked with pure milk - I don't know.
Mom taught that there is no need to cook milk.
And recently I learned that cereals cooked in milk contribute to weight gain. Adding milk to the finished porridge suits me completely. And it's convenient on the timer, you don't have to think, or it will turn sour, or run away ..
Tatyana_
Thanks for answers! Perhaps the milk failed. I also read somewhere that porridge on water or milk and water 1: 1 is more beneficial for the body. We will try! New technique, trying to figure it out
addresat
I cooked millet porridge with pumpkin in milk alone. Soup mode for 1 hour. The milk is pre-boiled. Cooked with the lid closed. Nothing escaped and did not burn. Good luck.

Now the recipes would be slightly confused)))
Most indicative of all in the cartoon are different pilafs. not difficult and very tasty. prepares according to the principle - they threw everything they needed, pressed the button and went for a walk.

there is also my favorite recipe - Rice with mushrooms, onions and chicken wings... it is not difficult to do, but very tasty!

as far as I remember in aurooah for cooking pilaf and the like, you need to use the COOKING mode.

In general, I don't like milk porridge, but I cooked rice a couple of times. and today I cook buckwheat. I cook on the "Soup" mode. The milk tries to escape. through the valve, light drops (not fatal), but literally 30 seconds. Then, when the milk boils, it switches to a slight gurgle and nothing escapes. Once I greased the sides of a saucepan with oil, the result is exactly the same. Conclusion: this trick did not help.
She took homemade milk, did not dilute it.
I think you can leave it on the timer. Then just wipe a couple of drops from the lid and wash the valve.

I have not gone into the topic for a long time, but my experience may be useful to someone.

I regularly make yogurt in 1 large tub (from 1 liter of milk to 2, I haven't made more than 2 liters yet). I use VIVO starter cultures. And what can I say: the amount of whey in yogurt depends on the milk! Made on "Prostokvashino" - a little serum, but you need to drain. I did it at "Pereyaslavskoe" - a LOT of serum. Made on "Yagotynske" in bottles - there was no serum at all. So not everything depends on the temperature - a lot also depends on milk.

Shl. In a yogurt maker (I have a moulinex with glasses), yoghurt turned out worse for me and oxydated much more often. So the cartoon rules.

ZZY. In general, my homework appreciated the cartoon. Yogurt, pilaf, scrambled eggs, biscuits, cereals (on the water, crumbly), jellied meat ... I can't remember everything. The next step is chakhokhbili, I think it will turn out better than in a frying pan.

Dear forum users, today I was in Comfy Darrynka in Kiev near the Lesnaya metro station. The Perfezza PR-58 appeared on sale, an absolute analogue of the Aurora AU 250 (there are no differences) - except for the price, the first one costs 450 hryvnia (56 dollars), and the second 1199 hryvnia (150 dollars). No price reduction actions are expected. Here I arrive in deep thought, what to take Aurora AU 250 or DEX 50. Help with the choice aaaaaaa ?!

kandasik , if you choose from these two - of course Aurora!))) why? - I just loved her very much!
and the capacity of the saucepan is larger ...
I'm looking for another Aurora on the Internet, for Dotsi ... NOUUUU ... And Dexa is ...

See by function. Aurora also has a Yogurt function. And in "Dex", they say the saucepan is better. But if you wanted Perfezka 58, then the conclusion suggests itself.
kandasik
You see, here's the problem. Many are forced to buy for a second multicooker. Aurora AU-250 suits me personally for everyone, and the minimal cost in Kiev is 462.88 kopecks (57.5 USD) hryvnia in the online store as of 16.05.2010. But I wish there were two saucepans.

And one more question is how the tacking problem is solved. My mom doesn't see well, I'm afraid that she will not be crippled. It is problematic to get a hot pan for a multicooker, whether you need rubber gloves or gloves

P.S. By the way, who will be interested in COMFY yesterday bought a silicone stand-cover for a multicooker for 19 hryvnia (PRC). It can be put on a saucepan and put the same pan on it. Maybe someone will come in handy, I personally saw the silicone baking dishes, but the lid form for several containers at once and for such money - for the first time

The question of pots has already been discussed more than once. There are no replacements. There is only "Panas." and then at the price of a new "Aurora". Everyone says it's easier to buy 2 multi.
If you are satisfied with the "Deh" function and the volume of the pan, then you can opt for it. I do not remember that someone tried on a saucepan in "Deh" for "Aurora", but they wrote that it fits from Panas, but the lid is difficult to close. If milk is important to you, then in "Deh", in my opinion, there are some problems with it. Check out their thread.
The pot needs to be taken out in oven mitts, but it's easy for me, but what will it be for your mother?

I understand that Perfezza costs UAH 450, and Aurora costs UAH 1199? for Aurora this is too much, in Internet shops it will cost almost as much Aurora as Perfezza. And if I choose between Dex and Aurora, I once made a choice in favor of the latter.

ang-kay, and what recipe did you use to make lasagna?
Egg and flour dough. Balonese sauce made from onions, carrots, minced meat and tomato. Bechamel sauce from sl. oils. flour, milk and cheese. Mushrooms were just fried champignons.
Or do you specifically need proportions?
Can I have some more here look. I did about the same. only the dough itself, the sauces itself and also added greens and carrots. Now I saw that there are mushrooms in this recipe.
Natashulya
Or do you specifically need proportions?
ang-kay, no, thanks, I have a recipe, I have been using it for about 5 years, it is similar to the one in the link.
My family loves lasagna!
Please DO NOT be offended, but in my opinion, your lasagna is slightly wet, the dough, if I'm not mistaken, is thick! Maybe the reason is that you didn't like it. Try to bake it in the oven if you decide on this recipe again! The oven will slightly fry it for you and evaporate excess moisture, and in the cartoon it turned out to be steamed.
And the fact that the process is really laborious - in this you are right! In Italy, housewives divide the process of making lasagna into two steps, if they make homemade dough, and not purchase sheets. Soft cheeses (mozzarella) are also added to the lasagna; it can also be replaced with homemade cottage cheese, which will need to be salted first, add herbs and spices if desired.

I'm not offended. Did the first time. Yes, there was a lot of liquid. She rolled out the dough thinly, but it fit. The taste is pizza. I will not say that the taste is bad, it just is not worth my efforts. In my opinion, our naval pasta is no worse. When somewhere I come across sheets for lasagna (in our city it is not realistic), I will definitely try with them in the oven for the purity of the experiment. Thanks for the advice. I will remove the photo.
Natashulya
Here is the recipe for the dough I make for lasagna when there are no ready-made sheets: 3 eggs, 300 g flour, 1 tbsp. spoon of olive (sunflower) oil. He never let me down. Can be kneaded into HP. On the first day, prepare the sauces, and on the second, the dough and collect the lasagna. It can also be frozen. Prepare everything, collect it in the freezer, and when necessary, take it out and bake it in the oven! Try it!
By the way, we are fellow countrymen, I also come from the Lugansk region.

Was in the demo. Deleted. No summer cottage option. I was pointed out the mistakes, and I am glad to try, received recommendations and ... quickly. Although there was a photo from yesterday until morning.
I can put it up again if interested. As a demonstration of how not to do it.
I didn't like it. The taste of pizza. I expected more for the physical and material costs. Did it for the first time in my life. I made the dough and sauces myself. We do not sell lasagna sheets. Although I rolled it out thinly, the dough came up. On baking, it turned out steamed, as knowledgeable people told me. They say it's best to do it in the oven. There the excess liquid is evaporated and it is fried.Maybe try it on x-rice? Or leave the lid open? But I won't. Unlike you, Polina, I do not achieve something if I can replace it with something. You are great in this sense.

The principle of cooking is as follows. The water will boil, the cartoon will beep and the countdown will start for 8 minutes. Now think what happens? Depends on the quality of the pasta.

Cooked spaghetti. The cooking time on the package is 8 minutes. So I cooked it. Not boiled over. I washed it (well, I generally try to wash pasta). But my spaghetti was Italian (unpretentious, but Italian). I cooked the "horns", I did not look at the packaging (I have 5 kg and it is full, I was too lazy), I came to the conclusion that they need to cook for 11-12 minutes, twisted the time - next time I would immediately put it on 12 minutes of cooking. I cook with the lid closed (although I read somewhere that was wrong), but nothing flops or floods with me.

You can not add time, but turn it off, close the lid and hold the required time without heating. They will never come apart. I cook like that in an ordinary saucepan. Boil, boil for a couple of minutes and turn it off if I'm not sure about the quality of the pasta.

As for pasta, I am absolutely sure And after 8 minutes of cooking they were not "just a little bit and will reach" but clearly raw, so you still need to add time, just the horns were thicker than my usual spaghetti

about pasta who asked: cooked more than once. Everything turns out great! see the cooking time indicated on the packaging for this type of pasta and set this time after boiling water, when the cartoon squeaked. I don’t rinse pasta after multi (although after normal cooking on the stove I always rinsed it), in this cooking method it seems to me that it would be unnecessary. The pasta is one-on-one, it doesn't stick together ... Aurora is a miracle!

I haven't cooked in it yet. I just got an accident. no water. It comes in tightly, a couple of millimeters higher, but the lid closes without tension. A native saucepan has a larger bottom in diameter. I ordered it in Kharkov, it costs 250 hryvnia. I don’t know from which model.
