-Elena-, Samopal, Thank you! With such eagerness and love, I have never used any meat grinder. More precisely, as far as possible, I avoided cooking processes associated with the use of a meat grinder, and now the soul sings when working with Aksyusha.
Oleg, in the underpass kiosk or there are temporary portable trading tables, and what days and times? Being there, I never use the underpass, I run on top

For the kitchen of a small, not rapidly developing restaurant, we needed two meat grinders. Of course, this task, as always, fell on me. I adhere to practicality and simplicity, the main task is to quickly get minced meat from meat and fish. I don't consider any bells and whistles there. I liked the meat grinder before I heard about this, probably it is a professional technique.
What can you say about her or advise another?

Holders of Axions with reverse, tell me, is it really necessary, this reverse? How often do you use it and in what cases?

Natalia K., thanks Then I order on 32.01. I really like its price - 2090r.

Choosing an electric meat grinder
I stand in the store and think - is it worth taking? There are only two of us, I rarely twist meat, but I already want electric. Costs 1800 in paradise. Does anyone have one? She's so light ...

Hmm, Zelmera 987.80 is nowhere to be found and will not be there yet, at least until February.
Probably you will have to buy in parts, first the basic model and in addition to it a grater and a mill.

And I really like my Red 1203. Axion left for my daughter after I screwed up a couple of bushings, chopping meat with veins. No wonder the set included several plastic pieces. Looks like for me.
And this Red is all metal and does not react to my candelabra. Years 5-6 suffers me.

Ritul, I twisted the plum on Axion, and I did not notice the bone. So Axion grinds it down without straining. And the sleeve remained intact. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

When choosing meat grinders, first of all, you need to pay attention to the nominal power, it is often hidden, and some sellers do not even know what it is. The boxes and price tags can have a power of 2000, and the nominal only 250. When I ventilated this question, the biggest one that I met was 800.

Natalia K., Natus, and I have a problem with these bushings. First one knocked out, then the second ...
I don’t really remember how many of them there were, but I collected them and with one "live" sleeve gave my daughter to be torn apart. Uh-huh, such a kind mother.
I don't know what it is. Maybe there was a marriage?

Ritul, I usually freeze such meat a little. Then everything is twisted fine
Do not worry too much, continue to use Redmond (so this is your meat grinder)

sazalexter, Alexander, hello! I started reading this topic, now on page 20. But advice is needed urgently, because I am looking for a meat grinder as a gift. In 2013, you wrote that Panasonic changed the line of its meat grinders and moved their production to Malaysia. In fact, now you will not find a meat grinder with the inscription "Made in Japan", except for the 1800W m / cutters, the price of which is very high.Perhaps you have already done an analysis and comparison of the new Panasonic product line on the following pages, could you please repeat yourself or give a link to this page. I have always trusted this brand, and now in the store they are like strangers to me, because I have not seen reviews for new grinders. Thank you in advance!

Girls, good evening!
Today I bought Axion 31.01, I have already worked
Choosing an electric meat grinderChoosing an electric meat grinder
The sound worries me - not the volume itself, but some kind of metal whistle in addition to the sound of the motor. Grinding slightly frozen meat, adding a piece, twisting, but not perfect - a little crushes. I studied the instructions up and down - I put everything together correctly, maybe the knife is not sharp? And what kind of oil is best for storage? While washed, dried and treated with sunflower oil (knife and wire rack). There is also olive, maybe they need it? Share your experience, please. I really want to make friends with the new assistant!
Elena Bo
I twist the meat in Axion completely defrosted. I don’t cut the veins, grinds everything, not a single bushing has yet burst. After washing, I wipe the knife and grate dry and wrap it in a thin towel, in which I store all the attachments. There is no rust.
The sound can be from the fact that the ring is tightened too tight.
Tyatya
Elena Thank you!
I inserted the assembled part into the socket for a long time and then, yes, I twisted the ring very tightly. I'll try to twist it more carefully. But for the first time I encountered a knife and a grate not made of stainless steel, I was reinsured.
Samopal
Natasha, It is necessary to buy a knife and a stainless steel grate! Until then, grind on the block before each use. I do that, at least. Business for 2-3 minutes. And the meat grinder is a beast, with which I congratulate you.
Alex100
Oleg, and why sharpen every time? and then, without a certain skill, you can fill the edges with a bar, the knives are usually ground on a machine

What for? I personally and my family suit, which, by the way, I have never sharpened yet.
Samopal
After the purchase, I chopped up the meat, then went to the grinder, where they sharpen the manicure sets. After sharpening, the difference for me was essential in grinding the product. Native metal (black), too soft and dulls quickly (some word, don't pick another). You still need to purchase from stainless steel.
Elenaif there is a grinder nearby, try to grind. Although if you are satisfied, then see for yourself
Elena Bo
Usually they sharpen straight knives. Sickle (like Axion) is much sharper and more durable. I bought such a knife back in the USSR for my manual meat grinder, in return for the direct one. I haven't seen the sharpening shop at all. Here's how dull, I'll think. But so far so good.
Tyatya
Oleg Thank you! I already think about stainless steel it will be somehow more familiar to me, since at home I have Brown, there is a stainless steel knife, I always only washed and dried it - everything is fine, well, I sharpen it from time to time, I make tea, the leaves dull the knife. And now I am with my mother, and while I find where the master is here, please take a look at my details.
Here is a photo after the first use
Choosing an electric meat grinder
This is the side of the grate that touches the knife. I watched the videos on sharpening these parts at home - they advise on sandpaper (as I understood very fine) in circular movements counterclockwise (it was emphasized that this is important) and pressing tightly on a flat surface. What do you think about it?
Elena , Alex thanks for the advice and for sharing your experience!
I was able to choose Aksyushu only thanks to the discussion and stories in this topic.
Anchic
Natasha, my husband sharpens that way. Only two sandpaper is used - large and zero. First on a large, then zero. Only circular motions are not observed, like. After sharpening, the knife cuts like new. Enough for 2-3 months, then you need to sharpen again. But my knife is not made of stainless steel.

Bushings are sold at Ozone. 3 pieces 80 rubles in my opinion.
Plastic bushings are protection against motor breakdowns, it is easy to replace it, which is good.
I lost one, but everyone is still alive. But the sound of a working Axion is something.
This is my first electric meat grinder, they say they are all noisy. The plane is taking off.
By the way, I use the reverse. At the final stage.
I don't use attachments. Once out of curiosity she shook something and that's it.

My Axion does not work loudly. The previous meat grinder scared the cat very much, but he sits from Akison and begs.

So I’m not as loud as Panasonic growled. But, maybe it depends on the model?
Miranda
Elena Bo, may be. I have yellow 31.01.
When the mini-grinder in Kenwood grinded coffee on the nozzle, the cat also reeled off. And the vacuum cleaner ran away too.

Axion is not straightforward quiet, but my cat has a noise figure, and he was not afraid of him at all.

Mirandamost likely the vibration frequency of the sound affects the cat.

Girls and boys, hello everyone!
I am with a progress report. She grinded the grate and knife with sandpaper (the finest one was at home), and 2 kg of meat in 6-7 minutes, I barely had time to put the pieces!
Here's what a wonderful minced meat turned out

And only one tiny vein wound!
The reverse was not needed, and the sound today was "softer" ... I think I fell in love with Aksyushu!
Thank you all for your advice!

Good day! I'm for advice. I have a Kenwood MG-510 meat grinder. After reading about different add. nozzles, I found out that the Kenwood MGX 300 grater nozzle fits to it. Maybe someone bought a similar one. I go in thought: buy a nozzle or separately a mini harvester. There are no reviews and I did not find any video reviews with the result of the shredder either.
Belka13
Olya2017, OlgaThere is a video using this attachment.
Olya2017
Belka13, yes, but only from Kenwood himself. And I would like live reviews.
Belka13
Olya2017, I used it for a long time and not for long. Cheese and chocolate grater rubs well. I don't remember about other products (the meat grinder is in one place, this grater is in another, where I have a kitchen machine).
Olya2017
Belka13, but I would like to know how to rub cabbage, carrots, potatoes, but not in slices, but as for pancakes or frying. And the video does not have this review. I don't rub chocolate, practically.
I used it for a long time and not for long.
Why not for long?
Belka13
Olya2017, Olga, there are many similar devices that are closer than this nozzle. I'm thinking of taking her to the meat grinder. Will be used more often.

Kenwood MGX 300 grater
There was a case, I bought an analogue at one time - KENWOOD Sense / kMix KAX643. It has more attachments. But Kenwood disappointed me like a meat grinder. Therefore, after long torments with chewing meat (I sharpened knives in the best workshop in the city, I can drop it in PM), I bought a complete set of Axion meat grinder, with the same attachments, and I'm happy as an elephant. Kenwood has been gathering dust on the shelf for several years. This I wrote so much to the fact that for the price that Kenwood wants for his attachments, you can buy another meat grinder, which grinds meat better and a bunch of additional attachments to boot. And as for the question, we use a shredder almost daily: we grind carrots, beets, pumpkin both for salads and for frying, for dressings for the first. I used to wash my hands on a manual shredder, now everything is in the past. I also use the Axion attachment - a citrus juice press. I bought a complete set for about 3,000 rubles.
P / S / I will add that in shredders, if you work a lot, the knives become dull too. So on Axion they are worth a penny compared to Kenwood.
Belka13
My Kenwood 510 meat grinder works great, grinds the meat at once. We even skip the hell on it. If u Olya2017 there was no meat grinder, then Axion would be very helpful.

grinds the meat at a time
I'm not saying Kenwood doesn't grind meat.I also wrote under my profile that there is Kenwood 510. But I wanted a result like the one in the photo above. And Kenwood Chews meat. I was at Lazerson's master class with our girls from the bread machine, he has a lot of different equipment, including Kenwood. So in a meat grinder I asked him a question, and he agreed with me that at the exit the minced meat could be even more equal. And so, if everything suits you, then it's good. And I also noted that their price tag is inhumane.
Belka13
Samopal, Oleg, so I have just such minced meat. I was not impressed by the KM attachment. But it came in a set, do not throw it away.
Samopal
Belka13And I changed the knives, and sharpened, and twisted all the way, nothing helped. Lies now, waiting for other good hands, probably.
Belka13
Samopal, Oleg, I have a long-standing, about 2007 release. Probably, then the knives were sharpened better.
Olya2017
Samopal, Oleg, the meat grinder suits me very much. She is already many years old and I do not want to change her yet. But about the nozzle ... From the reviews that I found, I realized that I would not spend money on it. I'll take a closer look at some small combines.

Good day to all! I have mastered 60 pages so far, but you need to buy a meat grinder faster, and the leaves in the freezer are already waiting ... I wanted one or two, and while reading the branch they swung at William, our Axion. You painted it painfully well. I must say that I looked in the store, felt it and even turned it on, I can't say that I was somehow impressed. Plastic bushings after metal-to-metal are not particularly pleasing. Well, the power of 230 seems to be not enough. BUT, the whole branch can't be wrong, so I'll go to mvideo again, especially to the axion. God bless her sleeve, I'll buy one well in addition to the stock inexpensively. I'm more afraid for the bushings because of the leaves. (Daughter Zelmer stopped work for this reason (3 pieces) and she has not bought additional bushings yet). But the old 30-year-old Mulka took the same leaves, well, grunt a little. ... and her power is also from the category of 250 W. Yesterday it seemed to have matured completely, the question remained - is it possible to check the sharpening of the knife in the store? I’m ashamed to say, I don’t know how to do this based on what I’ve read, I have to look at it right away, or look for a grinder ... or how can I sharpen this knife myself? Just tinker with the skin? I won't ruin anything there (in some other direction, for example ...)
gala10
kartinka, Marina, I have Axion, also at the suggestion of our members of the forum, for two years already. Sooooo happy. Spare bushings are included. I didn't undermine anything, everything works fine. Ttt ...
Anchic
kartinka, Marina, if there are no such bushings, then the engine will burn instead of them - do you need it? So the bushing is the place of the intended break in the event of a sharp overload of the engine. The sleeve is good. About checking the sharpening of knives - can you google it?
