So I finally tried this dough. And quite spontaneously, although spontaneously, the last few days I was reading this topic, I was thinking about how to bake it too, that is, my thoughts were in the direction of this dough, but I baked a loose pie with oranges, and my husband with zest turned out to be bitter and did not eat smog, he had to urgently sculpt something else, so a biscuit dough pie happened.
vernisag, thank you so much for the dough! This is the fastest and lightest dough I've ever made. If we also take into account the leanness and non-mixing of animal and vegetable fats (if the filling is from berries or fruits), and the taste, then in general
Thank you Olga VB for making it even easier to make this dough with a fork! Thank you Mikhaske for raising the issue of the temperature of the water for the test. And to everyone who wrote in this thread with reports, it is very inspiring and throws up new ideas.

And now I'm telling you ... I added 70 g of vegetable oil and 100 g of water to the dough. The pie is sweet, so I added 10 g of sugar to the dough and 1/2 tsp. vanilla sugar. It is imperative to put the dough in the refrigerator in a plate, because oil is released! (The author, in fact, recommended it) Unrolled and folded several times. Filling: 1 orange (peeled), chopped finely and frozen blackcurrant. Prepared filling according to Svetta's recipe: secret filling (2 tbsp. L potato starch, 140 g sugar and water). I baked in a slow cooker, in a big Panasonic (I think I'm the first in this) Here, of course, it's inconvenient, I rolled it out on baking paper, so that it would be more convenient to transfer it to a saucepan and get it out, but still, my husband helped to carry it - in four hands and when getting why then the cake is broken. As a result, I decided to bake a closed pie from this dough in a multicooker for the future in order to get it out with a double boiler. Baked for 60 minutes.Of course, the dough does not crunch, because in a multicooker everything turns out to be more tender, but it's really tasty! The filling set like a jelly after cooling. Sprinkled with cinnamon on top so that the cake was not pale (the slow cooker), but I think, in vain, it would be yellow.

Many thanks again !!!
Loksa
And I baked !!! With sorrel, a little drip, it was necessary to add more starch, nevertheless it turned out very tasty! Itself and skuateshala!Lean biscuit dough

I missed something about the plug and temperature Can you tell me which page it was on?

Now I'm going to bake one with potatoes and one with cottage cheese. what can you add to potatoes to make it tastier?

Now I studied the recipe, the dough is chopped with knives. Can't you knead in HP?
Midnight lady
Rezlina, no need in HP! All the ingredients were loaded into the bowl and mixed with a fork, grinded (no need to carefully), collected in a ball, covered the container with a film and into the refrigerator. All! This is the trick, which is easy and fast.

Midnight lady,

Midnight lady
Rezlina, mushrooms can be added to the potatoes, many like fried onions, you can add some thread dressing.

Rezlina
Midnight lady, well, I already kneaded in HP, the current is fast
And I also thought about the mushrooms thanks for the links

The dough is very layered.
How did you roll it out? Directly or folded and rolled several times?
Rezlina
vernisag, yeah, it's better to cook. Although I cut the potatoes very finely, I still had to bake longer because of it
Rezlina
Lean biscuit dough
Here's what yummy it turned out

Pie with potatoes and mushrooms.
She rolled out the dough, put finely chopped raw potatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers, Cherry tomatoes, sprinkled with herbs and onions on top. Smeared the edges with an egg and sprinkled with nigella. Then she filled the inside of the pie with two beaten eggs.

It is better to boil the potatoes first, since the pie is baked longer because of raw potatoes.
Jiri
Midnight lady, rolled out once, about 2 mm, it already exfoliates well. During baking, it rose
Midnight lady
Jiri, great, I will also try this next time (I rolled and folded it several times).
Rezlina, cool biscuit turned out.
Midnight lady
I’m thinking, is there enough dough of 250 g of flour for a closed pie in a slow cooker, or do you count 300 g?
Loksa
If very thinly rolled
Trishka
Thanks for the wonderful recipe!
I read Temka from cover to cover, and realized (late, on page 50) that such a Temko should be read with a pencil and a notebook "in my mouth", a drain of all useful and interesting things here, be in time for the current ...
Eh, took the compendium and went to read it again,
Vinokurova
Jiri, Irinaaaaaa, how delicious !.
Rezlina, Helen, I love with mushrooms and potatoes !. And so beautiful too ...
Rezlina
Midnight lady, Vinokurova, thanks, girls even my daughter asked for a piece the next day, which is very rare
That's what I'm interested in, but the proportions are all the original ones? I want to add flour
Midnight lady
Rezlina, I did not add flour, and did not want to, I had the first grade flour.
Olga VB
For me, the proportions only of oil and liquid change. I use serum, take 55-60ml of oils, add serum accordingly, and don't change the rest.
Regarding the multicooker: 1 portion according to the recipe is quite enough for a closed pie, if you roll it thinly. I roll this amount for princesses, and this is 31 cm versus multicooker 21 cm.
As for the layering: the more carelessly you knead this dough, the more layered it turns out.
Trishka
Girls, it's me again!
I read everything and, and still explain to me stupid, first mix flour, salt, baking powder, then add boiling water, and only then butter?
Or mix butter with boiling water and pour into flour, eh?
Sorry for being stupid, but everything is so beautiful and Fascinating, I wanted to try the same thing and not "screw up" ..

Pour flour, salt, baking powder into a bowl, add oil and hot water. We turn on the dough program for 1 minute. The dough is ready.

Ksyusha, everything seems clear I wrote
AnastasiaK
Trishka, I do this - flour, baking powder, put butter in a blender bowl, salt in a separate cup with boiling water. I start mixing flour with butter and other things and at the same time pour boiling water and salt through the hole in the lid of the blender bowl. A few seconds and you're done.
Trishka
vernisag, Irisha, thanks!
Everything is clear, I just re-read everything, and in my head it turned out "porridge", so I began to doubt!
Trishka
AnastasiaK, Anastasia, Thank you !

Mix everything dry, add oil. You get a fat crumb.
Pour water into it, stir without fanaticism, collect it into a ball, ...

Olga VB, Olya, thanks, I'll try every one, then!
