It is clear that omelets, pastries, etc. are by now. But what about pilaf, all sorts of stew, stewed cabbage, meat and potatoes? Can this be cooked without consequences in a steel bowl, or is it suitable only for soups, stewed fruit, jellied meat and as a helmet to protect the head?

mcr4, I practically cook EVERYTHING in a steel bowl (I just forget about non-stick all the time!). Stebka cooks all day. Prepare one, pour (or transfer) to another pan and a new dish to Shtebka. Cabbage carcass 2 times a week (my son-in-law is very fond of), on "Vegetables", I practically do not put butter. Cabbage, onions, tomatoes, tomato paste (if any), salt, spices and for "Vegetables" 0.7 - 35 minutes (we love it softer). I also cook pilaf in steel (on "Porridge"), meat (chickens) with a side dish on "Meat", etc. I even baked charlotte in it (I forgot about Teflon), if you grease it with oil, then everything is fine. So do not be afraid - everything will work out. Shtebochka is so clever that there is nothing to worry about!
