Nata333
Girls, tell me please, I have a Panasonic cartoon 18. I mainly use it for stewing and baking. Sometimes porridge. I tried to fry - I didn't like it.
I want to make canned meat. I have not studied it in detail yet, but I remember that the temperature should have been 120C, which is achieved by excess pressure.
Plus, three small children drink 12 liters of compote a week ... Maybe I'll start cooking something else there.
I understand correctly that Steba DD2 XL will suit me for these purposes. There is an action on it in the ozone now. I would like to have time to take and decide what else I need to buy for her right away so as not to get up twice
O-ring is another one for what? And if a stainless steel bowl is included, then what is the difference between ceramic and Teflon non-stick bowls?
Something in my head is a complete mess - I thought that the actions would start closer to the new year and I will have time to read it
natushka
Nata333, take it, do not hesitate. Even though I have 5 liters (they differ only in volume), I am very happy. The O-ring serves for a snug fit of the cover - after all, pressure, there is no need to buy it, it is included in the kit. The stainless saucepan allows you to use ordinary metal spoons, ladles and blender in it. Teflon must be ordered additionally - ideal for baking.
Sedne
Nata, yes it fits, the stew is very good, and the compotes are tastier than in Shteba (I tried it on the stove and in other cartoons). It is better to take a set of stem + an additional bowl, ceramics will begin to stick quickly, Teflon is safer, having bought such a set you don't need to buy anything.
Twig
Congratulations to all those who made money at the sale and joined the ranks of the shtebovod.
I wish everyone to become a school lover :)
Well, let the beauties work without any complaints!
Nata333
Thank you very much for your prompt answers, how smart you are!
That is, baking in my Panas is better
Can you fry a shte? Because it didn't work out to get a golden onion - this event lasted too long.
And if it can, then I need a Teflon bowl too ...
Sedne
Nata, fries very well. But the pastries are still very good, very, very straightforward, try it anyway.
solmazalla
Nata333If you plan to make not 2-3 cans of stewed meat, but more, and there are no big strains with money, then it is better to buy a household autoclave. In the summer I bought for 6 thousand at once for 14 cans of 0.5. And the pressure there is not 0.7 as in the head, but much more (at 1.5 it only starts to work, and then it picks up to 4). What is GUARANTEED allows for the safety of canned food against botulism.
And I just bought the headquarters and, of course, I will also use stew in terms of stew, but for storage either in the freezer or in the refrigerator and not for very long. Moreover, the girls wrote that the stew turns out to be awesomely tasty.
Venera007
solmazalla, yes, the stew is super. Stew cooked in Shteba for 1 hour is much tastier than stewed meat in a multitude for 5 hours of stewing. Tested on our own experience
Umka
Venera007, Tatyana, and can you get a stewed meat recipe ???
solmazalla
Take a report from a freshly baked stem owner. Last night they brought her home, boiled a lemon, and then loaded it with pea soup. Here, in the topic, the girls said that 40 minutes is enough, but I got scared and put it on 1 hour. Everything is fine, everything I like: the peas are boiled, and the potatoes are whole, the smoked meat is easily separated from the seeds.
Then she put cabbage to stew in a non-stick bowl. I took sauerkraut, fried a little minced wild boar with onions, added smoked sausages, set for 40 minutes. Another credit shteboch: girl_dance: ke, everything is fine :))
Well, and so that she did not just stand there, set the milk to heat for the night. I opened it this morning, but there! FOAM !!! No more gamazine milk!
Only here someone wrote that after the languishing mode the saucepan does not go to heating, but did it go? That is how it should be?

the peas are boiled, and the potatoes are whole,
wow, in an hour the potatoes cut into porridge turn into porridge, I can't boil them for more than 5-8 minutes in soup
Loksa
Yesterday I cooked pea soup from split peas for 25 minutes, pressure 0.7-peas in mashed potatoes, I do not add potatoes. But there are special varieties of potatoes - salad, they do not boil over. Can solmazalla cooked at a pressure of 0.3?
Trishka
And I came fastazza, the first acquaintance was successful!
Stesha did not disappoint until she tried only Roast ...
I fried cutlets (20 minutes), either 12, or 14 pieces, and in the process someone choked it ...
And on the Roast, according to the recipe, Tanyuli cooked pasta, 5 minutes and everything is ready, we liked it, it was tasty, the pasta tastes completely different, somehow more saturated or something, but so far we like it.
Sorry for the photo, I've already laid it out on trays, and bitten, it's a small one running past ..

Girls! Good day everyone!
I also bought a Shtebochka at a sale in Ozone! I have already tried something, I like it.
Today I cook turkey liver and steamed rice - at the same time. Rather, I laid the rice later. Only now I don’t understand what’s happening ... In the "steam" mode, Shteba begins to squeak, and beeps all the time until the end of the program. And the "steam" button blinks, in other modes they just burned. There is enough water (in the liver), it boils. True, the rice did not boil in 12 minutes, put it on for another 15 - it squeaks again. What does this beeping mean?
Masinen
Helen362Elena, I congratulate you on your purchase and welcome to our forum!
A big request to read the topic on Shteba for beginners, there are many answers to your questions)
Basics of use, questions and cooking times in the Steba DD1, DD2 pressure cooker
solmazalla
Loksa, I cooked at a pressure of 0.7, just a habit worked that peas need time
The next experiment will be done for 25 minutes. And my potatoes and in Brand 6060 in 99 minutes remain whole, but very soft. Moreover, last year there was a purchased one, and this year a home
Umka
solmazalla, Alla, thanks for the link !!!

It only seems to you. I used to think so too. I baked rye bread with sourdough in a multitude of 1.5 hours - in 2 doses I had to, then the top turned red in the airfryer, and in Shteba I bake it in 25 minutes, then in the airfryer (so as not to turn it over) for 15 minutes. And a 1.5 kg loaf is ready.
Helen362
Masinen, Masha, thanks!
And for the answer, and for your Stebiania!

This is for the bread. You can't bake bread in Panas, it's too cold. But I understand that it was about sweet pastries? Of course, before I speak, I check what I am going to say.))

Here are two absolutely identical biscuits from the same source. The first is Shteba, the second is Panasonic. Yes, by a more careful selection of time (here Kasha-03 and a pure experiment with the same preset time in two cartoons) and temperature, you can get a good result, no one argues with that. But with other things being equal Panas benefits from its two additional heaters, which is clearly visible on the beautiful side of the baked goods.

🔗 🔗

And so yes, if Panas is not around or you need hotter baking for unleavened dough, then Shteba is great. Especially with a grill lid.
Sedne
Lena, I may be strange, but the first one is prettier, even like that.

Lena, in Shtebe, the biscuit turns out to be completely evenly baked - both from the bottom and on the sides

Recipe and modes
Ksyusha, I just the other day reported to A simple biscuit from Tanyulia.
I have Shteba DD1, so I bake everything on "Kasha"
Venera007
Umka19, Ludmila, yes there is no special recipe. I took the meat, I have veal, cut it into pieces, you can take any size, salt it, you can add lavrushki with pepper, but I did not add it. We cook meat on the 0.7 mode for 1 hour. And that's all. If you want to preserve, then you can roll it up in sterilized jars ...
I didn't. We have already cracked everything. I cooked about a kilogram of meat, but more is possible. I know girls cook in cans, but I haven't tried it yet. First, I want to try to make canned fish, but I still can't get my hands on it. First you need to buy a fish for this ...
Lucien
Girls, does the valve work automatically or do you need to expose yourself? Or depends on the programs?
Masinen
Ludmila, the valve itself will not release pressure.
And it is better not to touch it, if you cook liquid dishes, when the pressure drops, you will hear a click, this is a float falling, which blocks the lid.
And a hole will appear in the lid)

Does not turn off automatically after the end of the program. If you do not lower it yourself, after the temperature drops, and therefore the pressure drops, the float is lowered and the lid can be opened without changing the position of the black valve to "open". If you need to open immediately, you need to open the black valve very smoothly, if the dish contains a lot of liquid, it is better to wait until the temperature drops to 95 degrees and gently open it smoothly. You can cover the valve with a cloth so as not to burn yourself. I feel the valve, I open it if I need it urgently with my hands, but the soup, for example, is not a full pot or I wait a little.

In general, advice to all newcomers - pour a glass of water into the cartoon and drive in different modes. There will be nothing to risk, but get used to the multi behavior.))

Great advice!

Trishka, Ksyusha, don't do that, turned it on, turned it off. You interrupt the work of the multicooker.

Bijou
Trishka, now the second tip - do not touch the rotary valve at least until the moment when 95 degrees appears on the display. )))
And then neatly - stock up on a towel and something long like a Chinese stick or at least a fork-spoon. They will pry on the black valve.

Because if, with such fearfulness and a full bowl, you pull it with your bare hands right after the end of the program, then there will be ... mmm ... some trouble.))
Trishka
Bijou, Helen, I have already learned this, so wait she went to warm up and peaks, the temperature is 105, I will wait at least until 95, right?
shlyk_81
When I cook soup, in general, I practically never release the pressure myself, especially if the bowl is full (and I have it in 99%). Wait for it to fall by itself. In general, it is better to always wait for it to fall.
Trishka
shlyk_81, Zhenya, and when it falls by itself, then probably there should be a click, or just look at the valve, if it drowned, that's it.
gala10
Ksyushayou will see the valve will go down. I also almost never forcibly play off.
shlyk_81
Ksyusha, yes, like there is no click. I just twist the lid - it opened, so the pressure dropped))) Well, the temperature is also an indicator. On soup to the eyeballs, I do not open earlier than at 85 degrees. I usually wait 30-40 minutes.
Lucien
Ksenia, how's the soup? Tasty?
Knor
If I do not need to simmer for a long time after cooking, cook, I immediately turn off the heating and the lid opens in 10 minutes. It happens on heating and I wait 30 minutes for the float to go down.
Loksa
Lena, you know, and my valve drops faster if you turn off the heating. I noticed it by chance, but I didn't compare the time, it doesn't matter.
natushka

It's the same for me, I always turn it off.
Trishka
Girls, but here's another question, maybe they already asked in the subject, the lid itself is under the tap, can you wash it under running water? I washed, and then doubted, there is no electronics in it?
Lerele
Trishka, no, you can.I always wash
I read you and remember the first pressure cooker, I had a mulinex, I was also afraid of everything
Loksa
Trishka, can!
My baking didn’t come out in metal. But I have not yet bought a tefal one for 6 liters, I use a saucepan of 5 liter or more. The husband cut off the edge, made holes for the ears, she was a little knocked, well, do not throw it into the business

Trishka, Ksyusha, and can you write an adaptation of cabbage soup to a shtebik, please? , I brought 2XL a couple of hours ago and want to test it on cabbage soup. I have always languished cabbage soup in Panasika for several hours, now I want to try the accelerated version.
Now I have two Stebochki

Excellent biscuit
I bought the shtebu quite recently, at the Ozone dispensing point there is already a Teflon bowl, I’m still thinking whether to redeem it, in the presence of a superbly baked Panasonic. Probably I'll take it, thanks for the motivation)))
Trishka
MaBa, Natasha, oh yes, I'm still studying myself ...
I took my favorite cabbage soup recipe, I also used to cook it in Panasik on stewing for 1.5-2 hours.
And today in Stesh:
I set the potatoes to cook separately on the stove, as in the recipe.
I put on "Roasting" for 20 minutes, and first fried the onions, then added sequentially carrots, meat, mushrooms, cabbage, mixed everything, stewed for 3 minutes, then added crushed potatoes and a decoction from it, plus boiling water and salt, spices.
I set the "soup" for 20 minutes, pressure 0.7. After the end of the program, I stood on the heating for about 1 hour. Everything there was already unlocked by this time, I opened the lid, took out the meat and cut it, returned it to the cabbage soup, plus herbs and garlic. FSE.
If you have written something that is not clear, ask, you yourself are not in one eye yet ..
tana33
FSE, take it to the ranks)))) took)))

tried on cups from Moulinex, they look good, has anyone cooked in them? fine ?
