Thank you so much!!!
Tina
Hello, help me, either my hands are not where normal people grow, or I bought a pressure cooker in vain. Well, I just can't adapt ... I'm currently interested in the simplest things, how to cook vegetables for a salad (beets, carrots, potatoes) so that everything is cooked together, how to cook pasta (my son loves very much with refried onions and carrots). Now I did, it turned out pasta porridge with onions and carrots, although I had previously fried vegetables. cooked on the "rice" mode for 10 minutes. And everything else stuck to the pan (((((I read the whole forum on this pressure cooker first, there was a lot of enthusiasm, but somehow it diminished now. The only thing, I stewed cabbage, it turned out very tasty, here !!!!! Can someone tell me) I saw a link to a bunch of recipes for the Brand pressure cooker, copied the recipe for pasta from there, the result is negative ... Most likely my fault, it remains to understand what. Thank you for your understanding.
Vitalinka
Tina, I steam vegetables for salad. I clean the beets, put them on the insert for a double boiler, pour some water into the saucepan and turn on the "steaming for vegetables" mode for 15-18 minutes (depending on how many beets). I cook potatoes with carrots, as well as beets, only I set the time for 8 minutes.
But I make pasta in a regular slow cooker. But it still depends on the variety of the pasta themselves, and you need to pour a little water so that not all pasta is covered with it.
Tina
Vitalinochka, thank you !!!! Can we just fry the chicken in our pressure cooker so that it has a crust?
Vitalinka
You can, in baking mode. I fry everything in this mode, it is more convenient for me, although the girls also fry in other modes.
mishka
Is it possible to make a Temka with recipes specific to our model?
And then every time I don't really want to scour the forum.
Vitalinka
Girls, recipes with photos can be posted in this thread, and then ask the moderators and they will make a list of recipes on the first page of the topic.

edrid-madrid, what am I doing wrong, huh? The second time I tried to make baked milk and the second time it curdled. Natural milk, the first time was the day before yesterday, but today it is fresh and still curdled. boiled in a saucepan, normal, rice porridge lied in a regular saucepan is also normal. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Nymph
I, too, constantly curls up in it - whatever it takes
and the plate with the addiction of soap are all one. For the sake of experimenting on the same milk, the next day I made porridge in Brand - everything did not curl up as it should, but there was no way ...
to be honest, I've already come to terms with it

Well, then I won't torment her with milk. Let him cook other goodies

I read the messages and was a little upset ... I understand that I would like everything and how we want ... but, having experience with a multicooker, I still don’t dare to cook some dishes either in the multicooker or in Skarlush ... Semolina ... oatmeal from cereals ... pasta regardless of the variety ... yogurt in a yogurt maker ... ice cream in an ice cream maker ... if cheese cakes, then in a frying pan or in a pancake maker ... and if I read all the topics to get acquainted with the device, either bookmark a recipe or write it out in a notebook with recipes, where now there is a section for a pressure cooker and there is an opportunity to make notes on adjusting in time, because each saucepan has its own character and the voltage in the network is different everywhere ... I cooked jellied meat in a multicooker earlier, and now for the third time in Skarlush - just super! regardless of the composition of meat products ... every time in a different way, yes such a delicious thing for a long time I haven't cooked so much jellied meat ...but girls have repeatedly written about vegetables ... here's how you can say that eight minutes is the norm for potatoes, when I have them quickly cooked ... I put it in full with an additional insert with a silicone steamer, then yes, eight minutes and potatoes are on the verge , and the carrots are average, so also on the verge ... we do not like overcooked ... and if you put only how much on the native insert fits, then I would turn off the carrots-carrots in five minutes, simply canceling the program ... I apologize for that message, if someone has hurt, but when we write, even with photographs, we want so much that they would at least read us, so that our notes would help

And my baked milk turns out very well. Store milk took 3.2%. I want to try it from home, I think it will be tastier.
NataliyaK, and you bought a silicone steamer separately. If so, tell me which one, otherwise I don't really like ours, it fits a little and it is not convenient to take it out.

how to cook pearl barley correctly (for kuti)
what proportions, what mode, fast in time ???
SeredaG
I personally doubt at all that the barley will turn out to be kutya. Kutya needs to be cooked from wheat (although some are cooked like colivo from rice).
... in the section ceremonial cuisine https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=103353.0 kutia in a slow cooker is true ... but the time will decrease by 2-3 times and I think it will work out, though I don't make it so thick, we dilute it with uzvar or boiled cold water with sugar.

A girl from our forum in Moscow bought me a steamer and gave me an opportunity, for which she is very grateful, look in Mega ... I brought so much from Nizhny Novgorod ... my sister looked at me, but this is due to the fact that she stubbornly does not come to our branch of deviceaholics If you need a photo, I'll put it up tomorrow, just write ...
And my friend also has this one:

I also bought Skarlushka for two days, cooked pea soup (normal flight), the next day my peasants finished it, washed it, wiped the saucepan and ... for some reason, at the bottom there was a whitish bloom. Immediately I remembered that many on the forum were puzzled by the purchase of a spare pan, but before that I still could not understand why ??? since I already have a Swedish cartoon kromach and a Japanese rice cooker, it seems like I bought pots there yesterday, glossy and shiny. All China is China ...

Good day!
For a couple of days I was concerned about choosing a new kitchen appliance - my husband himself offered such a birthday present, before I somehow didn’t think about whether I needed it.
Initially I wanted a multicooker - so everyone wants it, as my husband read on the Internet)))
But acquaintances, one might say, were confused - they have ARC multicooker pressure cookers and are delighted with them.
But the problem is that we do not have such a company in Ukraine ((
So I started looking for substitutes and now I don't even know what exactly I need - a slow cooker, a pressure cooker, and better, of course, 2 in 1.
In this regard, there are also questions - is this Scarlet model replacing a multicooker or not?
I don't have room in the kitchen for several appliances, so I have to choose one.
And I understand that she has a teflon-coated bowl?
Can you spit on Scarlet's "friction" and buy a regular slow cooker? saw inexpensive Yammy with ceramic bowls.
Please help me with a choice, while I'm leaning towards Scarlet, but doubts torment me.
By the way, does she have a delayed start? And how important is this feature? If it is not very important, then maybe let my husband fork out for Moulinex Minute Cook CE400032?))) This seems to be definitely universal.

PS: I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, but in view of the presence of a small child, I cannot immediately re-read the whole topic, but I want to quickly make a choice, and so the DR is already tomorrow.

Do you really think Cromax is not China?
Nikolaevna
Yes, it seems like a Swedish company, but if it is China, then the coating of the bowl is of high quality.

Yesterday was pressure cooker day
I cooked sour cabbage soup, literally took out ice meat from the freezer and until the end of the process everything took 30 minutes.
I cooked broth for 18 minutes (and then overcooked it) and for 12 minutes the soup itself with potatoes and cabbage.

Then there was the potato stew.
I chopped the pork finely and the onion, fried it in baking mode with the lid open, then there mushrooms, potatoes to the 4/5 mark -500 lm of water, salt, spices and rice for 12 minutes. Awesome delicious.
The potatoes were yellow and boiled.

Girls! I was planning to buy this hard currency in DR in January. And today I saw her in Foxtrot and ... complete disappointment. : cray: When I opened the lid, I almost suffocated from the smell (the persistent smell of Chinese plastic, it seems to me that it will never fade away). Then, the lid is all kind of sore-loose (inside). And also the volume (useful), as I understood in the bowl, before the recess (where the steamer becomes), somehow did not impress. In general, I am not delighted, but I almost ordered it in a tyrnet store for 609 UAH, and in Foxtrot it costs more than 800 UAH. HORROR !!!
_JuMi_
albina1966, I don’t know, mine didn’t smell like china, everything was normal. The useful volume is not up to a double-boiler "waist", but up to 4/5 of the volume, that is, 4 liters. The lid inside consists of removable parts, they should not be an all-metal part with the lid. On the lid, only the handle holds tightly. The valves move back and forth, a round metal insert with a silicone seal is generally removed with a slight movement of the hand, inside the lid it springs on silicone.

Translated hryvnia into rubles. Yours is still cheap!

Thank you for persuading me, I really want SLE, and in this Temka I read all the reviews, as if they were convincing about buying this device, but I will still think there is time. But, it is true, the smell was very frightened (though now my nose is very stuffy). Do you think it will wear off?
albina1966
And another question, I need it more for cooking jellied meat (it's still tempting to cook it in 2 hours, as they write here), so how much of it is obtained from one cooking?

Natasha, if possible, please give me a photo and size in diameter and height.

Somehow your message was not quoted correctly ... sorry ...
The diameter of my silicone steamer is 20 cm and it calmly gets into a saucepan at the bottom, I pour almost 0.5 liters of water and vegetables are not in water ...

And for the doubting girls, I can say that now we have a variety of multi- and pressure cookers you can buy and, if you saw, felt, smelled, even realized that this is not yours, it’s better not to take ... my IMHO ... I’m my Panasonic drove from Nizhny Novgorod and jumped with happiness now there was an opportunity to take either DEX fortieth or Skarlusha ... I looked the first in the store, and the second from the photo ... but still I realized that Skarlusha was closer to me ... I ordered in the online store , drifts, instead of 12.12 (for the anniversary a gift from her husband) I received 15.12 ... my husband was already ready to pay for the second one, he was so upset ... but when I got it, I warmed it, I washed it, I wiped it, I put it on and ... so happy that she waited, that words cannot be conveyed because I liked the sweetheart and we with her and Panasonka get along very peacefully in the kitchen and they gladly complement each other
About the jellied meat ... when I took out everything from the saucepan with a slotted spoon, only the fat remained, it was clearly at the 2.5l mark, and poured chicken bones-meat-wings at the 4/5 mark, i.e. 4l
Nikolaevna
Natalya, why also a silicone insert if there is a native piece of iron? or using two at once?

Regarding the dangling lid - for all pressure cookers it is not fixed until the pressure builds up - then you can no longer call it "dangling" - it will lock tightly - you cannot turn it.

My respect, dear!
Ay nid e help.
The situation is as follows - I do not know how to cook at all, but I ended up on sick leave and this heavy burden fell on my man's shoulders. Since yesterday, this very pressure cooker has been standing in my kitchen, to which I do not know from which side to approach. There were two attempts:
- one attempt - I made pasta in a naval way (I did it according to the "Rice" program), what happened as a result could be described by the development of Stephen King (I'm talking about appearance and consistency).
- try two - biscuit "tenderness" from the recipe book. It turned out to be very excellent, but for some reason it did not fit (and as I understand it, I should have done it).

now I have chicken fillet marinated in mayonnaise and the whole arsenal of cereals, pasta, spices, vegetables.

I bought a scarlet because: delayed start, electronic control, maximum time 99 minutes (for dex40-toko 30 minutes), more programs, the ability to adjust the running time of programs, etc.

Good day! You answered above Alexander82, giving my reasons, which played an important role for me when choosing ... and I also wrote that someone likes deksiks more, someone likes yummy, if Panasonic had a pressure cooker, then I would probably take I would have liked her, and from all Skarlusha I liked both in working positions and in appearance I chose the iron, went to the store with one thought that it was heavy, when I looked at the place - I also wanted with a ceramic sole, and there are two different shelves firms that are very similar to each other, only either the sock is more elongated or the butt is shorter ... thanks to the seller, he brought me out of the stupor, asked what I wanted and gave me a look, hold three irons ... I chose Skarlusha with a ceramic sole, the heaviest, with the possibility of vertical steaming and, most importantly - in the hand - like here and the bulo ... and after that I looked at the price ... expensive of course, but now I am ironing with pleasure, that's all for what - we each have our own opportunities, your desires, your criteria, and you buy used You will find yourself, not some aunt, and how wonderful it is that there is such a large selection! Good luck with your pressure cooker! But the fact that this is the right saucepan - and do not hesitate!

Another question is on which mode to stew the carp and for how long.

You talk about the prices, but they are not sent to us in Riga at all. You can buy only a Panasonic multicooker and then you have to wait a year.
Many girlfriends dream, but not destiny. They brought me from Belarus for 180 dollars, and our Panasonic costs 240 dollars
Nikolaevna
My scarlet cost me 6 thousand with a penny (if the magic price is without discounts) I bought it on January 4, 13g. And of course there was a smell from the silicone gasket, but not so much AH ..., now it is gone.I just compared it with a Japanese rice cooker, which did not smell anything at all and I just rinsed the saucepan from it and immediately began to cook it "white".

People, help!
My head has been spinning for a week now, I am still tormented by the choice of what to take ..
It seems that I also liked this cartoon pressure cooker, but still there are a couple of questions about how to use it. Tell me, pliz, how do you do it in practice:
1. It has a delayed start mode. When using this pressure cooker, is it possible to throw in food and go for a walk with the kids? That is, if, for example, I stay there for 30 minutes - an hour, will it not overdry the product too much on the heating program?
2. Have you tried cooking in it with the valve open? Does it perform at the same time a multi-normal function? Can you get a crust and interfere with the cooking process?

I read different information and I am puzzled over whether to take a pressure cooker or just a cartoon ... On another site I read a comparison of "experienced" ones and realized that pressure cookers are prepared simply according to the principle of different time intervals for different dishes, that is, roughly - in them it is enough to have one button for adjusting the time and play with it in order to cook different dishes. The pace and pressure in all modes is the same.
Tell me, what do you think about this, based on your experience using Skarlushka?

By the way, in our country (in Belarus) prices for it vary from $ 83 to $ 120.
