It is easier to remove moisture from the wing than to bother with towels and other tambourines.
Lisichkalal
Do you finish drying on the wing itself? I also have a desktop drying on this wing. It is also dry.
Cvetaal
Lisichkalal, Svetlana, I have a dish drainer built into a drawer under a common tabletop. Didn't you consider this option?
kseniya D
The rinse aid has no effect on the dryness of the plastic. I always have it filled, but the containers are still wet on the rims. And it doesn't matter when I take it out, in an hour or in 6 hours.
The sink with the wing was before the renovation and just did not like the pile-up on it. It gave the impression of a mess. So we put in a 2-bowl sink. When everything is inside, it does not look so cumbersome.
Niarma
Cvetaal, Svetlana, do you have a dishwasher or do you wash with handles? I also decided to make a dish dryer in the lower drawer, I already ordered VIBO, but it is almost impossible (more precisely, very difficult) to wash the tray with it. And if you put wet dishes there, then water will drip in the pan ... How do you solve this problem? (I don't need a dishwasher)

Svetlana, personally, these containers and their mountain are being dried on a tabletop drying now !!!
A real mountain, I'm afraid they won't fit into the box (
Also, a plastic salad bowl, a plastic colander, etc., often gets there ...

Ksenia, my dream is a large work surface. So I wanted the sink to take up some space. And with 2 bowls, it still turns out wide.
Cvetaal
Niarma, I have a dishwasher, but sometimes I also have to wash the handles, I had to hide the dryer under the countertop, because the sink is by my window. I easily take out the pallet and mine, the kitchen is from the Stylish Kitchens factory
Niarma
Svetlana, how does the pallet get it? After all, there is, in fact, a frame - a pallet in it, and on top of a rack for dishes ... Or do you have some other design?
Cvetaal
detach the grates and take out the pallet. The grilles are attached with plastic holders. I'll try to take a photo
Olga VB
The dryer (grid for dishes) can also be placed in a cabinet without a bottom ABOVE the sink, moreover, at least 2-3 floors, if you need it, so that everything drips into the sink, and not onto the work surface. By the way, a small fan in this cabinet, like on a computer or in an air duct, can also significantly speed up drying.
But personally, I put everything in its place even in a wet state, because our apartment is so dry that additional moisture will not interfere with my drawers, otherwise they may dry out.

Straight surprised! And why do they remain wet after PMM? I wash my plastic containers every day (I take lunches / dinners for 3 every day with me), I always take them out dry.
I suspect that the sink is from Mile?))
But surely with an active fan drying ...
Quote: Cvetaal
and the dryer had to be hidden under the countertop,
Yeah, we were shown such an invention in the salon, the dryer in the metabox. At the same time, the girl herself was uncomfortable at the same time. When I asked, "Where should the water dry, in the chipboard and the countertop ??", she shrugged guiltily - "Yes, I am also amazed at what kind of nonsense they came up with .."))

But if the furniture is not of wood origin, then you can probably take a chance.)
Cvetaal
I have been living with such a dryer for 6 years and no problems, the furniture is wooden
Bijou
Well, share - WHERE does it dry?
marina-asti
Bijou, no, not Mile, just Ariston, though still Italian.
I think drying under the counter does not involve placing hand washed dishes. It seems to me that this option was shown as drying in the presence of PMM, for drying the same containers.
Cvetaal
this dryer is used as an additional one, dishes washes and dries pmm. There is no water in the pan, but it naturally evaporates from the dishes, the box is not hermetically closed
Quote: marina-asti

I think if drying under the countertop, it does not imply the installation of hand-washed dishes.

Marina, in the dryer I dry it by hand, for example, something that cannot be washed in PMM or a couple of cups-plates, there is no mass loading of wet dishes

Virgo, who had facades of different quality - share your thoughts on the optimal price-quality ratio. Resistance to damage, ease of cleaning, appearance, etc.
And why no one answers me
I still had kitchens made of the cheapest material (they ordered sawing and edging at the same time as the wardrobe) - still in very decent condition. So I think - what to do in a new apartment?
Cirre
Anna1957 Anya, talked in the salon with a furniture salesman, so he said that the best wood, in the second place is plastic. Is it so or not
Anna1957
There is clearly not enough money for the best. It is clear that the array is beautiful and expensive. My kitchen is 14.5 sq. meters. And plastic, in my opinion, there are 2 types - or am I mistaken?
Cirre
To be honest, I did not particularly torture, I went to look. I liked the plastic, they now apply it hot and then it turns out to be either wavy or smooth
Svetlana_Ni
There is also an option, cheaper than solid wood veneer. This, as I was told, is more reliable than an entire array. But also not cheap. Here is a glossy plastic, beautiful, but you will be tortured to care for it.
Bijou
Is it glossy plastic? Like enamel on MDF, isn't it?
Svetlana_Ni
And it seems to me that plastic is glossy and enamel.

Previously, when I was still living with my parents, they never wiped anything. And pans and pans for each other.
And now I'm used to folding dry.
The containers are often one inside the other, so they will not dry out.

Oh, everything dries up instantly!
A terry towel is absolutely dry in 2-3 hours, shirts dry in an hour and a half, etc.

Yes? For some reason, it seems to me that the glossy plastic somehow looks wretched. Is that where I got this feeling? From Soviet times, or what? We have plastic in both kitchens and it is matte.

But now I'm not sure if I saw plastic or enamel when I didn't have a kitchen. But the kitchens were beautiful, the colors you want, spectacular. At first I liked it, and then I changed my mind.
Lisichkalal
Just about, and my laundry dries for a very long time ((
Bijou
Svetlana, if there was at least one curved structure, then exactly enamel is acrylic on MDF. I also once liked it when we did ours, they just came into fashion. I chose a design, lived with it in my imagination for some time, and ... I understood that I didn’t want to, I was tired, boring, becoming familiar. Some lasted 4 months, some two weeks. And only the option that I lived for six months, I embodied in reality, since there was nowhere to rush.))
The shiny acrylic lasted a mediocre time, two months.

Is it glossy plastic?
Glossy is plastic. I have one. Acrylic in my opinion is more matte. In leaving, plastic is not problematic - wiped it once a week from lapins or any splashes and that's it. Compared to acrylic, plastic is scratch resistant.
For 4.5 years I have never regretted choosing plastic.
Anna1957
Even more confused. Acrylic - isn't it plastic?
Cvetaal
Anna, my first kitchen was MDF + enamel, the so-called high gloss, very beautiful dark green color (bottom) and wood (pink beech) with glass - top. Photo, unfortunately not. To be honest, I'm tired of constantly wiping my fingerprints off an almost mirrored surface. It was easier with the "top". After 10 years, we moved to a new home, and the question arose about a new kitchen. And, as you might guess, I was categorically against gloss, now I have a wooden dark brown bottom (beech) and a glass top, however, in two places there are glossy beige inserts. My kitchen is 6 years old, I showed the photo at the beginning of this topic, somewhere on pages 7-10.

My conclusions and observations at the moment boil down to the fact that it is more difficult to care for wooden surfaces, I have to rub them with special ones. means for wood, now I would again give preference to gloss, but only a light color, the glass top is washed once or twice, but it also has its drawbacks, the contents of the shelves shine through, despite the frosted glass and pattern.

I dream of expanding the kitchen space, since there is where, and it will be a gloss of beige color (MDF)

Acrylic - isn't it plastic?
Of course not! Acrylic is paint. They paint ready-made, molded facades. There are even several ways to paint.

And plastic is plastic - it's just sheets of plastic, which are glued under pressure to a flat chipboard surface (I don't know if they also glue it on MDF or not?) It's easy to distinguish plastic - the second side of the facade will also be plastic - white and smooth.

Well, here's the first link about acrylic: 🔗
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
Acrylic is a plastic, also known as polymethyl acrylate. But the facades are called acrylic.
Plastic is paper-laminated blanks impregnated under high pressure with special absorbents. And now they are called plastic facades.
The main advantage of plastic (namely plastic, not acrylic) kitchen facades is their "vandal-proof". Indeed, the plastic used for facades is distinguished by high chemical and mechanical strength, therefore it is very difficult to scratch such a facade or damage it in any other way. Also, the plastic facade is resistant to moisture - and for the kitchen facade this is “requirement number one”. Facade plastic does not fade under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, so kitchens with plastic facades retain their brightness many years after installation. The façade is easy to maintain as it can withstand washing with a wide variety of products.
Acrylic is also resistant to fading. But it is softer and more prone to scratching. To care for him, you need to use only soft dabs and soapy water.
I originally wanted an acrylic facade. I really liked the cherry blossom at the exhibition. But the manager who worked with us on our next visit took us into the back room and showed us recently removed acrylic facades. For 2 years, their appearance was not ice - in scratches everything, like dust, was erased and scratched in circles. Then I could just scratch the samples with my fingernail. And I didn't even take the plastic knife. So I reoriented to plastic. And I'm 200% happy with it.
Taia
Cvetaal, Svetlana, the pictures of your kitchen on those pages are almost all gone.

Svetlana What is the finish of your wooden facades? My kitchen is wooden, but covered with brushed enamel, I do not rub it with anything special, but I just wipe it usually with a damp cloth. I refused from bright and shiny facades, thinking that over time they might get bored. And with a more neutral color, you can change the interior in the kitchen over time and select different dishes.
Cvetaal
Svetlana, looked in the description of her kitchen: solid beech, color Tyrolean beech. Closer in color to wenge, even dark brown. I also wipe with a damp cloth, but to add shine and brightness I use a spray for polishing wood, once a month for sure
