Hello dear bakers and those who are just planning to become one!
My SD-255 bread maker is several months old. I successfully use all of its modes (except for gluten-free bread, I don't know yet what to attach it to). I have no complaints about her work, I constantly experiment with recipes and the stove demolishes everything with dignity. And standard wheat (main mode) and French are obtained from almost any flour (from expensive Finnish, to cheap local production). I also use the dispenser periodically, most often for fried onions, if you throw it right away, then you won't find it in bread later, and my husband loves when the onion remains in pieces. So I highly recommend this model to anyone who is thinking about it. And thanks to all the owners of this wonderful stove, thanks to your advice in this forum, I chose it and I'm very happy!

Greetings!
Who in Ukraine is looking for this wonderful device from Panasonic - contact, it is available in warehouses in Kiev and Lubny. However, delivery will be to any address within 1-2 days.
There is also an equally worthy device from Panasonic - the TMN-18 Multicooker.
I have been using both for several years, and I have a lot of respect for Panasonic after these masterpieces.

Enjoy your delicious cooking!

Hello everyone!
Here, I am joining your ranks: I baked my first loaf today. According to the main recipe, only 3 tablespoons of flour were replaced with semolina and a spoonful of powdered milk was added. The result was amazing!
The question is: how, after kneading (without interrupting the program), take out the dough and form something out of it (as in the above recipe for Swiss bread), or at least remove the screw? Do I need to turn off, click on "stop"?
fugaska
can be turned off just in case (they say an unloaded gun also shoots), but in principle this is not necessary
it all depends on the duration of the manipulations performed. if it takes a couple of minutes, then you do not need to turn it off, and if you want to tinker for half an hour, then your program will have time to go astray if you turn off the power

Hello everyone, I have been following the forum for a long time, thanks for the advice. Special thanks to Uncle Sam for his advice not to use sugar in baking. The stove is super, I have been using it for about a year, I bought it from M-Video.

I am very happy with my bread maker, even though I only have it for a week. Bread began to be obtained immediately, and according to recipes from a book, and from a ready-made mixture ("Nastyusha"), I bake almost every day and already improvise. Many thanks to all the bakers on this forum, a lot of valuable advice, thanks to you I made my choice and I am only glad.
Here is one of the first loaves:

Hello everyone and best wishes!
A few months ago I got the idea to buy a bread maker. Found this site by accident and just fell in love with it! I would like to say thank you to everyone. You can find answers to literally any question. Itself has been almost happy for four days, at home (at last !!!) the HP Panasonic SD-255 appeared. The seller persistently imposed Bork, but I did not succumb to the provocation. I already loved only this model in absentia.
I baked bread twice, I took both recipes on this site:
- Italian bread by Admin
- French bread with soda water.
Everything worked out the first time! And it doesn't even surprise me. Everything is so cool and step by step. And the stove met all my expectations.Of course, everyone will praise their own, but I see a whole army of Panasonic SD-255 fans here. Would you like to join your ranks?
Volga

Thank you for your kind words, oleg9979!
Inside, it's just an itch from the desire to stir up something like that ... But I restrain myself, I will master this science step by step. I hope to end up with a yeast-free sourdough dough. In the meantime, supplements are a wide field of activity. I'm at a loss where to start ...
The teacher
Good evening Volga! Try to bake "Darnitskiy by Admin" with my small variations: yeast-2 tsp, rye flour-150g, wheat flour 2 grade-150g, wheat flour 1 grade-100g, whole grain flour -130g; dry kvass-2 stl (or agram-1 tbsp), salt-1.5 tsp, brown sugar -1 tbsp, beer -100 ml, water -220 ml, sunflower oil -3 tbsp, panifarin -1 tbsp. Mode - "Diet Fast" (for 3 hours). The weight of the finished bread is about 900 gr. Best regards, Teacher.
Volga
Good evening!
I will definitely try. Necessarily !!! If only I could find some more rye flour. So far my searches have not been crowned with success, but I do not lose hope. And also panifarin .... This product does not seem to reach my city. But, reading the pages of the site, I already realized that, in principle, you can do without it. Or am I wrong?
Since this topic is about Panasonic SD-255, I can't resist and express my admiration and pleasure. Not a stove - a miracle! I already love her
Volga
Thank you!
I confess I am amazed at the energy of the site. Just love, goodness and joy in its purest form.
So far I have one explanation - an angry and irritated person cannot bake bread.
I bake every day, I take all the recipes on the site and not a single puncture! (turning away yet quietly spit - ugh, ugh, ugh ....).
It's a shame - my husband offered to buy a stove three years ago. I refused. Stupid !!! How much time did you miss
Oleg
Volga-write in your profile-where are you from, maybe there are bakers from your city on the forum, who will help you with the search for the necessary ingredients for baking, or look for your city in the "Bakeries Unite" section.
Volga
I read and smile ...
It just so happened that the first here on the site was my fellow countryman - oleg9979. I am also from Ulyanovsk! With your light hand, I began to settle down here

If anyone is interested - my sister is in the electric broom online store. ru ordered x \ p Panasonic 255 for 5500+ delivery in Moscow 250 rubles. They brought it on Saturday. To be honest, until recently I did not believe that they would bring them for such a price, wherever these x \ n are, not less than 6000 rubles.

the oven is good for everyone, but there are two small minuses in it:
1) no window (trifle)
2) The bucket is poorly fixed, could have made a little more cuts, then there would be less noise during kneading
And so gorgeous just super
Boo Boo
My bucket is normally fixed.

1) there is no window, this is a big plus (how many people suffer with it)
2) the bucket is fixed so specially (there is no hard landing)

Good day to all. I also have such a stove for almost a month. Happyaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything turned out the first time, although I studied the site for a month before the purchase. Not in vain . The husband is glad. Baked with seeds and raisins, and a Very Tasty Kulich from Elena Bo. Thank you very much !!!
Lolo
Hope please
Soon this stove will fall into my impatient hands, and I will finally be able to compare it with my Mule 5004: D I am quite happy with Mule, but as a fan of Panas I will not calm down until I try 255.
Warena
Tell the people please! I have a large family and I bake, respectively, in large quantities, and the dough that is calculated in the book for the stove is not enough for me. Question: how to find out how many ingredients the stove is designed for? It's scary to burn a motor, but I didn't find this information in the instructions.
sazalexter
600g flour or 900g plain bread without additives
Warena
sazalexter Thank you for the answer! So I can safely knead the dough from 600 g of flour + all other products?
sazalexter
God help you! In principle, yes, if you add raisins or cheese, the bread will be about 1000g!

Can you please tell me, the other day I bought sd-255 via the Internet, it's embarrassing that the lid is a little loose (it walks left to right a little) Is this normal? failed to pull up.At the dacha it costs 254, it seems to be ok with this, although I'm not sure, since I used it 2 times.

Yes, it is normal. Over time, the initial backlash of the lid will even increase slightly, but do not let this bother you: this will not affect the quality of the bread, and Panasonic did not seem to have received any messages about the lid that fell off ...
Oksana73
Well, I put the dough for kneading according to the recipe from the book for the bread maker, ordinary bread.
Tell me, noise and slight vibration (the towel that lies next to the stove shakes slightly) when kneading, is this normal ???
jorabo
I also make noise and vibrate a little, apparently this is normal
Uncle Sam
Vibration and light noise (barely audible from the next room) will definitely be there. Physics cannot be canceled even by Panasonic. If you rotate an eccentrically located weight (a piece of dough with half a kilo), then a multidirectional force will be transmitted to the support, and vibration from it.
Oksana73
Thank you, it's very nice that knowledgeable people responded so quickly, and now I will continue, if possible.
I put everything exactly according to the recipe for "Usual" bread from the book to Panasonic. The gingerbread man turned out not quite smooth after the first kneading, then he stood and began kneading again. So, in the second batch, a little dough remained on the wall of the bucket on one side (I took it from there with my hand, somewhere there was a pinch of dough), and the bun on the other side, but not in the center, as written on the Khlebopechki website.
Now it stands, comes up a second time and a slightly uneven bun from the side and lies again to the right side of the bucket (the bulk). I don’t know what will happen yet, it’s still 1-40 time for the stove to work.
Saf-Moment yeast prescription 2 1/2 scoops (small).
Boo Boo
There is a lot of yeast, but most likely not enough water, but I think that the bread will turn out. Do not open the oven any more, the dough should not be disturbed, let it fit.
Oksana73
But what about the accuracy of the recipe ?? It turns out that you don't really need to trust the numbers in the book?
Hope
A book is a book, and our main thing is that the bun should turn out as it should. I have been baking for almost 2 years in my oven, I always weigh everything on the scales, but I always follow the bun, except in rare cases, when I have to set the night. It is often necessary to add a little water or flour. So hope for recipes, but do not make a mistake yourself.

Good day to all members of the forum! Take a newcomer into your ranks with Panasonic 255 They gave it to me just a few days ago, but I'm already baking it with might and main, however, so far only white bread according to the recipe from the book - it turns out super, with a crispy crust and very high, I did not even expect such results. Thank you very much for such an interesting and informative site !!! I constantly sit and gather information for future success!
DimaS
Good day!
Owners of Panasonic 255, tell me, please, how much free space should you have above the stove in order to load and take out the form without difficulty? (1) And can you hold a TV over the stove, at what distance? (2). The instructions recommend, in view of heating, to set the stove 5 cm away from walls and furniture. Is this distance enough in practice? (3)
Polus
My stove is under a wall cabinet, the height of which is 52 cm above the countertop. There is a TV set directly above the stove in this cabinet. When the stove is working, the shelf below is slightly warm, the heat does not reach the divider. BUT this height is far from enough to freely load the form. When loading - unloading, I push the stove forward a little, it's absolutely not difficult. 5 cm from the walls, in my opinion, is quite enough.

Hello! Help pzhalst, today for the first time they tried to bake bread in 255 Panasa, which surprisingly the first turned out to be good, the top slightly sagged, but the second and third did not mix, that is.flour and yeast were left dry on the short sides and in the corners, what could have happened? I think there is not enough water, but they did it according to the book (white with dry yeast), and another question about what is yeast "b" and / or some other instructions? than dry balls which differ? how do you pour yeast and flour - as in the instructions for Panas (yeast to the bottom)? I was advised to make a hole in a hill of flour and water around, the first three were done according to the Panas's scheme, we put it with a slide and a hole for the night, opened a new bag of flour, and you also weigh the flour? we poured a measuring glass for flour .. we can sprinkled more than necessary, we can morning ... we can not interfere as it should, I'm afraid not to spoil, your shoulder blade does not touch the bottom? even if the hands are crooked, it's easier to level them, it's just that everything worked out as it should with the first one.
jorabo
I put it as it is written in the instructions, first yeast, then flour, salt, sugar, butter, and at the end liquid. The flour must be weighed, as a measuring cup allows you to measure the volume of liquid, not the weight. So the flour must be weighed. In one measuring cup, about 200g is placed. wheat flour

From my own experience:

1. In normal (not fast) mode, the amount of yeast "B" is used.
This is a common dry fast acting yeast. R - for quick baking in the "Quick bread" mode.
2. It is better to lay the products according to the instructions for the oven - yeast to the bottom, and flour on top, and carefully so as not to wet the yeast and water.

3. It is better to weigh flour, but if there is no scales yet, then a measuring cup for flour will do. The stove comes with a cup for WATER.

Good luck! You will definitely succeed!

Thank you for your congratulations!
I have already baked bread according to the recipe for a loaf of stagnant times, only put milk instead of water. He also baked a poppy curl. Now I'm waiting for when I get hungry and try it with tea! I photographed everything and I will definitely post photos.
I am very pleased that I bought Panasonic, since without any culinary skills, I did not have any difficulties with baking and everything worked out.
And now I'm going to bake French bread.

They differ only in quantity. The yeast is the same, dry.
Gan
Well, thank you!! And now a question about the stove itself Why is she silent for 1.30 and nothing happens to her !! There are no signs of life, thank God, the clock is working: ((((This should be
Oleg
Do not worry, the temperature is equalizing, it will begin to knead soon.
Gan
Oh! And maybe there is some fast program, or I'm like a fox in a circle of crows :): wow: while I'm eating a store bread: ((
Oleg
There is a quick program, it lasts 1 hour 55 minutes. If you decide to bake with this program, try Elena Bo's quick bread recipe. This recipe, in my opinion, is in the yeast bread section.

Hello to all Panasonic-255 owners !!! I'm just dreaming about this, but I choose carefully ... Guys, tell me, in this HP, too, a bucket goes, or what ??? It's just that you can't see anything on everyone's photos, but on one I found it, so there was no bucket ...what is included there ??? I'm still trying to compare LG or Panasonic-255. Of course, they say a lot about LG, too, although I can't choose a model, I really want to have the same programs as in Panasonic. And do I need to buy kitchen scales or can I get by with that measuring cup? Guys, but they say that these Saf-moment yeast, in my opinion, they are not useful ... in short, you read this on the internet, who to believe? I look forward to your feedback ....
