Everything is determined by the chosen program.
Select the program, mode, weight, crust color, set the timer (if necessary) and press start.
What time would you like to change?
If the time for raising the dough, then you can lengthen the proofing before baking: the oven holds the program for 10 minutes (in my opinion), unplug it and wait 9 minutes. Plug the stove into an outlet - the program continues.

Well baking time for example, for example, from 4 to 4.5 hours
And to take it out of the socket - it’s already necessary to sit over it and follow, it’s better on the machine
Lenusya
If I use pressed yeast and have time, I knead the Pizza program, after kneading, I stop the program and turn on the Main one. While the temperature is being equalized, the dough comes up once. Then everything is on the machine. It turns out that the total program time increases

PS Of course, on the machine it is a hundred times better - no problems - I turned on (if the recipe is new and not tested, I checked the bun) and went about my business, especially since there are a lot of programs to choose from
Lenusya
As for the temperature equalization, it turns out that the HP programs itself: that is, when the room is cool, the equalization lasts about 25 minutes, respectively, the total time: the kneading proofing is lengthened.
If the room is warm or hot, the equalization takes about 1 hour.

That is, in a warm room, the process (kneading, proofing, baking) takes 3 hours, and in a cool room - 3.5 hours

I bought it yesterday and performed the first test today.
I didn't choose flour or yeast, I took what was in the store.

I slightly corrected the recipe, based on the detailed description of the "kolobok" formation on your forum.
He poured in less flour, and then added and watched.
The taste has not yet been tasted, it is getting cold.
Outwardly, as in my opinion, very much even nothing!
I went up 11cm.
Thanks to all forum members for your advice !!!!!

Hello. Help, plz, explain to the teapot. I just can't figure out the function KEEP BREAD HOT. This mode itself somehow and once is turned on or you need to turn it on with your hands after the end of baking. I read the instructions several times, but somehow I did not see anything intelligible there (for me)

If there is already a similar topic somewhere, please excuse me and poke my nose into the link :)

Thank you in advance for your reply.
3ay4ik
Yes, this topic has already been raised, but I will answer you: you do not need to turn on anything, if you leave the bread in the bread maker, it is automatically heated for 1 hour.
Irisochka
Then if you can have one more question. And in any mode? And then somehow on the main arrived for 40 minutes. later after the end of the program, and the bread is wet and the top fell through, although it can be seen that it has grown and baked. the crust is super, the taste is excellent, but from the condensation (as I understood) it fell and there were no modes included ??? And if, after the signal, press the STOP button and again START, then next to the word bakery products the word appears temp So I think: What would that mean?

This means that the stove is still hot, you need to let it cool down.

Hello everybody!!! Recently my husband and I had a wedding. With the donated money, among other things, we decided to buy a bakery! We came to the choice of Panasonic SD 255 ourselves and I am very glad that, judging by the responses on the site, we did not miss. On the advice of many members of the forum, they immediately purchased the scales! White bread turned out immediately and super tasty - becoming a sharp rebuff to our people around, who in one voice shouted that we were buying an absolutely unnecessary thing that would not even bake anything. the dough for dumplings and pizza is also super ... But with rye, not everything is so smooth, especially in the provinces it is very difficult to buy various additives. but my first custard was quite edible :) and beautiful - instead of malt I used dry kvass wort. Yesterday I tried bread with sourdough - they brought it to me from the bakery - everything would be fine, but for some reason the thick crust also burnt ... But this is only my fault, as a novice baker :)). Moreover, she was absolutely mentally prepared for a complete failure, and it turned out even well.
But in general OOOOOOOCHCHCHEEEN is happy with this model of the bread maker !!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I bought a Panasonic 255 for 6600 rubles. and digital scales TEFAL for 1200 rubles.
I tried the oven in action, on a standard recipe for French bread, with a delay. All OK. Only the roof of the bread is sunken. He seemed to measure everything by the scales and very accurately. And so the bread is delicious and ruddy. By the way, I chose the simplest flour - 18 rubles. for 2 Kg.

I didn’t like it in the stove: 1. The body heats up from the outside during operation.
2. The blades do not sit tightly on the shaft of the bucket, but play a little.

Maybe buy an Elenberg 3100 for experimentation. We have it for 999 rubles.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations.

What you have described is not a flaw. The body heats up for all ovens ... is your oven getting hot?
And the backlash is a necessity ... there is a Temka about it. read it if you like.

Backlash, backlash ... As in the old cartoon - wings, wings ...
To whom it is important without backlash of the scapula, buy delonghi-125s. No one has ever complained about the backlash in them. However, I am for panasonic! Each stove has its own troubles.

I have two questions. The first, idiotic - a comb-type kneading spatula (which is for rye bread) what does it give? Does it mix better? Or what? Can it be used to knead plain white bread? The second question, or rather the problem - sometimes the dough remains unmixed, once even flour was on the sides of the baked bread. What to do?
lina
unmixed dough - a lot of flour. read about the bun and follow. even recipes verified to the gram can behave a little differently for 1000 and 1 reasons. and after kneading, if flour is sprayed on the sides of the bucket, brush it off with a silicone spatula.

Good afternoon everyone. Last week I bought a Panasonic 255 bread maker. While kneading the dough, I was unpleasantly struck by the rumble of a bucket. In the old Hitachi 303 bread maker, the bucket was fixed with a characteristic click, but in the Panasonike it lives its own life. Is it a breakdown or a norm?

Yes, it rattles. But the stove itself is significantly better than the hitachi.
What could I say? - There is no perfection in life.
Karisha
Petrof, you have brought peace to my soul. Thank you. And the dough that I kneaded really turned out to be excellent.

:) And somehow I didn’t notice that the bucket was rumble ... Maybe it’s not every stove ...

1. A comb spatula is needed for rye bread. As far as I understand, rye is denser, the "perforation" of the blade reduces the load on the mechanisms. It can also be used for white bread, but it is more convenient to use a regular spatula for these purposes. I sometimes have a comb-like spatula, when stirring, leaves flour in the corners of the stove.

2. If the flour remains in the corners, then (if you are nearby) you can gently help during kneading with a wooden or silicone spatula. And, if you were not around during the kneading, then cut off the "ugly place" of the finished bread and eat the rest with pleasure, because there is nothing wrong and this does not affect the taste of the bread.

I will buy delongi as I will master Panas. Both ovens are decent. I don't want to be torn and hesitant.

Respond to those who have tried to cook whites according to the Panasonica recipe. I am interested in whether it is necessary to crumple and give the opportunity to once again come up to the dough after the bread machine or immediately shape the products?

I cooked .. I didn't cheat anything, the mugs need to be rolled out thinner, they still fit while they are fried and lie, waiting for their "turn". I don't remember anymore, but there was something I didn't like there with the sweetness (I haven't made whitewash for a long time): either too much, or vice versa, not sweet dough at all ... try

Thank you. Of course, we will taste, adjust. I just needed to know how much ready-made dough I could get out of the bread machine.

Dear Cooks! Please tell me what the footnote means ...... the required time for each process depends on the room temperature ...... the third line from the top of the operating instructions page 5 Panasonic SD-255 .......... .............

This means that the time to equalize the temperature of the ingredients changes. If the room is cold, it means that it takes more time for the dough to rise. The kneading will begin on the main program in 25 minutes, on the rye program in 45 minutes. If the kitchen is warm, then the dough will come up faster. In this case, the kneading will start later: On the main and rye programs after 1 hour.

I thought so too ... but it is not so ... I checked ... at any temperature the time is maximum ...
Boo Boo
tebol I usually have an alignment of 30 minutes. And here recently there were guests, it was very hot in the kitchen and the stove was leveling the hour. So the alignment time is different.
And how was it checked?
Hope
My time is definitely changing. In summer, in the heat, it is almost always 1 hour, now it is less.

ODE ABOUT BREAD

So: After two weeks of viewing the forum - it happened.
Thank you all very much. Before the purchase of HP, scales were purchased, more scales are it.

They brought it, unpacked it, everything was complete, wiped the bucket (I downloaded and studied the instructions a week ago), filled in the ingredients, baked standard white but with the addition of 40 grams of buckwheat flour. Naturally the control of the kolobok. Everything worked out super ……… before the dough came up. They cut off the light in the house and, as I understand it, not only in ours, they turned on after 30 minutes. I still had a condition, because according to the instructions, you need to throw out the failed experiment and add new ingredients, I think no, you can't fool our people on chaff, I turned on the quick baking program. And in half an hour of lack of electricity, the dough came up very nicely, it was already a pity. But nevertheless, YES! , despite all the twists and turns EVERYTHING WORKED.

For some reason I could not see the photo, but with a successful purchase and a successful first bread - congratulations.
By the way, once the light was turned off for me too, the bun was so raised that I had to upset it and it's good that the light was not cut off at the time of baking ...
Lydia
sergN, it's not in vain that you studied the instructions! But in such a situation I was confused - like a savage in front of a gramophone. There was no electricity for more than an hour, but a hand did not go up to throw away the food. I turned on baking, but for a short time - only 30 minutes. instead of an hour. We courageously ate it then, which happened, since it was one of the first loaves of bread, but ... frankly, it was not a masterpiece.
Lady Yu
Panasonic + electronic scales + a lot of enthusiasm - fear and self-doubt = excellent result!
Wasted only once in two months - when I forgot to insert a knife into a bucket
Mams
Lady Yu, wonderful bread came out!

Good night everyone has finally bought today at the end of the store (at 19:45) HP Panasonic 255, now having studied a little the instructions, put the baked goods for the morning at 6:45 - in the morning we'll see what happened. We did everything according to the main menu. I hope to have a tasty breakfast in the morning, but who's to say? how to hide your e-mail, otherwise I put the bird, but it is still visible - they have already waved spam to the mail.

MOONLIGHT SONATA

So Friday evening, it was decided to bake bread with honey and nuts (however, dried fruits were replaced with raisins), in view of the absence of powdered milk as such, this, like water, was replaced with ordinary milk. Size XL but yeast as for L. Control of the kolobok (this activity is starting to be terribly like it). The gingerbread man turned out in contrast to the previous one, let's say "soccer ball" in elasticity. Finished baking at half past one in the night, but nevertheless the result was worth it. In the morning was like

yes, you need to add more raisins
sergN
So after a long break I got to my computer at home.
At the request of the workers, it was necessary to bake with raisins again, but the standard milk was replaced with baked milk, the roof of the bread left, which did not prevent it from being destroyed.

Without hesitation, I decided to bake bread with olives, I was to take a recipe from the competition with minor changes (well, very tasty).

For the moment I am baking again a raisin, but with a radically revised recipe, called it “anti-crisis”, let's see what happens.

I also bought this bread maker. I decided to make the simplest bread.
When it came to baking, a specific smell began to be felt.
He brought his nose to the ventilation hole and a pungent smell hit the nose,
already tears have gone. Doesn't smell like plastic.
Like the smell of bread, but very sharp and specific.
Is it yeast?
sergN
Well, you didn't write how much yeast you threw

I got out to the forum, Hurray !!!
so anti-crisis (I soaked the raisins on Hennessy V.S.O.P /, nothing else was peeled), I didn't have time to take off the whole thing until I woke up, the result:

plucking up the courage he decided to bake rye, he was terribly worried, because he was not familiar with the rye bun. Nevertheless, it turned out, only the roof is flat

Great bread! The rye roof rarely has a convex roof, if you are not baking the horse with sourdough. Try "Darnitsky by Fugaska" it usually has a beautiful roof.
