MariKri, it was Faina's story, and I had my own bad experience, now I don't want to take risks, so I ask clarifying questions here
Found an approximate proportion:
for 125 g of pasta (dry), 400-500 g of water is taken!

tried to weld ... nothing worked (((
I cooked in a 125/300 ratio (pasta / water). They boiled, but the water still remained

Not deformed? Not stuck together? What were the pasta? How many minutes did you cook? Was the foam from the steam valve?
Well, here I tried again to cook pasta on the "PASTA" program, everything worked out, but not perfect.
I poured 3 MC of water into the bowl, set it for 9 minutes, as it says on the pack with FUSILLI, waited for the signal, opened the lid, salted and added fusilli (165 g) to the bowl, closed the lid, pressed START.
At first everything was fine, but after a while bubbles came from the steam valve (albeit not much and for a short time), after 9 minutes the fusilli were clearly damp I put it again (for 8 minutes), when I opened the lid they were ready and almost all the water evaporated.
The conclusion suggests itself this: it seems that pasta should be thrown into cold water after all, or immediately set the time twice as long as it is written on the pack.

So it's still possible? let's try !!!!
It is very possible! Today I made "Spaghetti with tuna" in it according to this recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=59809.0
First, I fried a little onion with garlic, added everything else, filled it with hot water so that not everything was in the water and on the PASTA program for 12 minutes, when I opened everything was ready and immediately in the sauce

in order

-no, not deformed
- not stuck together
-spaghetti
- in normal mode 8 minutes
- there was no foam

So if you have already received pasta with the sauce, maybe this is not the water that has not evaporated?

I also didn't have any foam when the "Spaghetti with Tuna" was cooked, which means that foam appears only when there is TOO much water.
In your case, it was "125/300 (pasta / water)", that is, 1: 2.4, and still there was water! It will be necessary to try 1: 2, and if anything, then you can add a little cream.
Although I really liked the option of cooking immediately with sauce, such a scope for imagination opens up
MariKri
And why the cream?
OlennaTM
Quote: MariKri

And why the cream?
MariKri, if suddenly there is not enough liquid, then you must somehow save the pasta
Well, I love pasta with cream and cheese like in this recipe, for example:
Pasta with cream, cheese and spinach

I didn't get it, but in the end, is there a TRUE recipe to cook pasta? That all the water would come out. did they buy goods, did not stick together?

Hello everybody!!! I read reviews of the wonderful Redmond slow cooker, was very impressed, but did not see any reviews anywhere, how does she make yogurt? I eat it in kilograms, I would not want to clutter up the kitchen with a yogurt maker, tell me how things are going with the preparation of this product?
Michael 2
Dear Oliva, I have not tried to cook yoghurt myself, but I think it can be done using the "Fry T" program when the temperature is set to 40 degrees. Celsius. At the end of the program, when five whistles sound, reset the multicooker to its original state, not allowing the keep warm program to work, which can heat the contents of the bowl to 75 degrees. Celsius and ruin the yogurt.

Thank you, Mikhail !!! I'll go get a magic mechanism tomorrow !!!

Good evening! Owners of redmond-4502 (16 progs), tell me, please, is there any porridge and milk with a delay? ...

Zulya, the multicooker "Redmond RMC-M4502" does not have a full-fledged program with a delayed start that prepares milk porridge and switches off automatically. Delayed start can only be used with four programs: Steam, Rice, Stew and Soup. Of these programs, only Stew and Soup can potentially be used for preparing milk porridge, but they require a manual shutdown, since their own duration of their operation is very long (2 hours and 1 hour, respectively).

For more information on milk cereals, you can read the article Mihail2011-1 dated October 7, 2011, posted at

Good morning! I became a (temporary) user of the Redmond 4503 multicooker. I tried to make a meat casserole yesterday. Fried minced meat with onions in the "Express" mode. Then I put tomato and eggplant (chopped) on the minced meat, added a little béchamel sauce .. and put it all on the "Baking" mode. I was sure that I did everything right .. but the casserole did not work out ... everything just stewed, it turned out delicious, but not what I wanted .. Tell me, what did I do wrong?

When baking, whether it is a cupcake, or a casserole, open the valve for any baking (remove it from the lid). Let the steam leave, otherwise it will just be steamed.

Tell me how to set the clock on a multicooker (set the current time)

To set the desired local time in the internal clock, switch the multicooker to its initial state and press the "Delayed start" button for a long time (more than 1 s). In this case, you will hear a short whistle, and at the end of the center line of the LCD, the digits indicating the minutes of local time will start blinking. The blinking numbers indicates that at the moment they can be changed by you. Change is done by pressing the "Cooking time" button. Pressing for more than 1 second results in automatic multiple increments of 1 blinking number during the pressing time. A short press for less than 1 s increases the flashing number by 1.
After finishing setting the minute digits, proceed to setting the hour digits. To do this, shortly press the "Time setting" button. In this case, the hour digits will start flashing, and the minute ones will stop flashing. Using the "Cooking time" button in the same way as in the case of the minute digits, set the desired values for the hour digits.
If necessary, using the "Time setting" button, you can repeatedly return to changing the minute or hour numbers.
When the local time has been set, press the Keep Warm / Cancel button or simply wait 5 seconds without pressing any buttons.
Remember that when setting the local time, you should act promptly and do not pause for more than 5 seconds between button presses, otherwise the installation procedure will automatically end, as indicated by the non-flashing hour and minute readings.

Good evening, dear Redmond users!
I bought 4502 a little less than a month ago.
Despite the fact that before the purchase there were doubts about the expediency of the purchase, over time they become less and less.
Surprisingly, the modest, in comparison with Panasonic and Dex, the number of adherents.
I wonder if this is due to the quality of the equipment of this manufacturer or is it still with the youth of the brand?

I cooked pasta and stew yesterday! What is there to cook here !?
Fried onions with carrots for 2-3 tbsp. l. fat from stewed meat on a multi-cooker (I removed the rest of the fat and threw it away ... I don't like it when very fatty).
If there is time to stand over the MV, I do not change the parameters for frying, I simply turn on 160 *, 40 minutes (by default) with the lid open, the heater temperature does not exceed 125 *. I close the lid, when I open it, I open it, stirring it, and fry it. Done - turn off MV.
I put in the stew, added some pepper (4 ground peppers), 2/3 of a pack of pasta (I took "Makfa" scallops), poured water so that the pasta was evenly covered. I switched on multi-cook 100 *, 25 minutes. Squeaked - opened - mixed - left on heating for 10 minutes.
AND EVERYTHING !! And you don't have to dance around and stir and drain the water and wash the frying pan and the colander.

I want to make my wife a gift for NG - a slow cooker. I chose from two models Panasonic 18 and Redmond 4502. I stopped at the latter, but the question arose: "Where to buy it?" We have never heard of such a thing in our city, but ordering via the Internet is scary, they will suddenly be smashed or the worker will not come. Please tell me a reliable online store to buy this unit. And another question: How is the guarantee carried out when buying over the Internet?
Michael 2
Zik12, first find an online store that is able to deliver goods to your city by courier, go to the store's website and read the "Delivery" section, find out how much it will cost. If everything satisfies you, place your order online or by phone. When the multicooker is delivered to you, then before paying the money, you have the right to unpack the device, carefully inspect it and check the entire package. The surface of the multicooker is glossy and very easily soiled. Therefore, if it was in use, then fingerprints, traces of cooking or traces of attempts to erase everything will be visible on the case. Arrange with the courier for a simple check by connecting to the mains via the power cord. Immediately after switching on, the indicator of the Keep Warm / Cancel button should flash, and the upper half of the screen, both before and after connecting to the 220 V network, should be filled with the names of all programs and the indication of the internal clock. The clock should run and increase the reading every minute. If something is wrong or the courier does not agree to the simplest check, make the decision yourself. In case of refusal to purchase, you are not obliged to pay for the goods and the cost of delivery. But I think that such an outcome of events will not happen and everything will go smoothly.
About the guarantee. Since the online store does not know whether you will buy a multicooker, it does not put any marks in the accompanying documents, and in this case the guarantee is calculated from the date of production of the goods. If in your city they do not know anything about these multicooker, then there are no service services either. In the event of a breakdown, given our Russian reality, all costs will fall on your pocket, but for the sake of your beloved women, you need to go for it.

Thanks for the answer! There are many online stores that deliver to my city, the buyer chooses the delivery method (you can by courier, or you can go to the TC terminal). Only they are all third-party organizations, and therefore I will need to make an advance payment of 100% for the goods, and the store will send it through the shopping mall. I have not seen such shops that would be delivered by their courier service to my city (700 km from Moscow). Then one option appeared - a one-day business trip to Moscow is brewing and you can buy everything yourself. You just need to find a store where it is cheaper even now and immediately go to it, otherwise in Moscow there will be no time to search. By the way: can you cook milk porridge (wheat, corn, barley) on this slow cooker? It's just that I have a 5-year-old child who loves them very much in the morning, well, here I am (yes, this is just my duty in our family) and I have to get up early to cook for him, and in the morning I want to sleep.

Quote: zik12

and on this slow cooker you can cook milk porridge (wheat, corn, barley)?

Can
"Put the washed rice in the saucepan of the multicooker. Pour milk. Add sugar and salt. Stir.
Install the program "FRY - Vegetables" (Multi-cook) 100 degrees, time 1 hour... After the signal, do not turn it off, but leave it on "Heating" until morning.
Before serving, add a piece of butter to the porridge, stir and arrange on plates. Considering that the heating in Redmond T is about 70 grams, you can reduce the cooking time to 30-35 minutes - this is if you leave it on heating for 10-11 hours "

And another way is this:

"I found an additional way of cooking milk porridge on the timer in REDMOND-M4202. The idea is not mine, Marina-marviksh shared it with her. But Marina used a non-stick baking dish for cooking with curved sides. I have one, but when I tried to insert it into the bowl, then the sides of the form touched the walls of the bowl. This means that over time in these places the coating of the bowl will fray. And it is not very convenient to pull it out. So I took form made of heat-resistant glass 1 l... It includes half the standard of products from the classic recipe. Cooked on the "Soup" program for 1 hour with a timer setting for the morning... It turned out great, even better than in the Panasonic MV. I myself did not expect this!
This method is suitable for all multicooker (Lacucina, Maruchi, etc.) in which there is no "Milk porridge" program, but there is "Soup".
I was glad that the porridge did not even try to escape. The inner cover is clean.
In the first photo on the left, porridge immediately after cooking. And on the right, I've already mixed it. "

In addition, here's another also from the multicooker. RU:

"Yana: More than a month has passed since I was cooking in the REDMOND M4502 multicooker. During this time, I managed to study it a little and now I can give more detailed information about the work of the programs. I'll start in order:
"Steam cooking" - manual setting of the cooking time from 5 to 50 minutes and the choice of the type of product - Vegetables, Fish, Meat. Checked on "Vegetables", cooks normally, as expected.
"Frying" - manual setting of time from 5 minutes to 1 hour and choice of the type of product - Vegetables, Fish, Meat. I cooked only on "Vegetables" without setting the time, by default it is 40 minutes. Fries well.
"Frying with temperature setting - MULTI-COOK" - on this program, you can set the temperature from 40 to 160 degrees in increments of 20 degrees, select the time from 5 minutes to 1 hour, select the type of product - Vegetables, Fish, Meat. I only used temperatures of 100, 120 and 140 degrees. I liked everything that I cooked. The temperature rises and falls smoothly during the cooking process, and does not stay constantly at the same level. This program is for those who like to experiment.
"Paste" - cooking time from 8 to 20 minutes. A very good program! She cooked dumplings and pasta on it. Everything turns out perfectly! The disadvantage is incomplete information in the instructions for this program. It does not indicate that you first need to select the cooking time, turn on the program and only after the signal to boil water, put the pasta.
"Rice" - subdivided into subprograms "Cooking: Express - Normal - Roasting". "Express" and "Normal" - touch modes, the cooking time is determined by themselves by the evaporation of water. Various friable cereals, stews, pilaf, etc. are cooked very well. On "Roasting" you can set the cooking time from 1 to 2 hours. The temperature in this mode rises to 160 degrees. I tried to cook chicken legs on "Roasting". The result is pleasing.
"Quenching" - you can set the cooking time from 2 to 12 hours. The program is intensive, at first the temperature rises to 109 degrees, and then only decreases, but not much. It is best to cook on it with the addition of water or broth, since the liquid can evaporate quickly during the process and the program will turn off.
"Soup" - an excellent program for cooking any soups and compotes! Cooking time from 1 to 4 hours. For REDMOND, the cooking time needs to be increased by half an hour compared to Lacucina and Maruchi, apparently due to the larger pot volume - 5 liters. This does not affect the quality of soups. They still turn out great!
"Bakery products" - 50 minutes, time cannot be changed. But, as a rule, during this time everything is perfectly baked.

Delayed start (timer) can be installed on programs "Steam cooking", "Rice", "Soup" and "Quenching"... It is very convenient that the multicooker has a built-in clock and you do not need to calculate by what time to install the program.
Also in this multicooker model you can check the temperature of the running program, Pressing "Cooking" - bottom heater and "Menu" - upper heater. "
