With all due respect to the forum, I do not think that there can be an objective opinion when MB is given free of charge for testing.
Nobody imposes anything on you. And I gave the link not so that you can see what a good Brand. And just for visual information on Redmond, since many are silent on the fact that it sticks to the bowl. And this is not a contested fact. Buying another bowl, to eliminate the problems of the first one, increases the purchase price and negates its price advantages.
If this hurt you, I apologize.
Levitan
No, in the question it burns, it doesn’t burn for a living. I don't see the point of quarreling, each of us is not the last MV, there will be more, this is a new unit, almost all of them have the first. We will still buy more and more. So I would like to write the truth, so as not to be mistaken with the next purchase.
I have other claims to redmond. And I wrote about the condensation and burns above - everything is OK with my CF. It's sad if someone really burns, I don't even know what is the reason? Commercials and in an ordinary frying pan can burn, if you "try".
Elena Bo
Do you think that VS NIKA specially bought Redmond in order to burn something on it? And then move it away? Not logical. And then, she has more than one MV, she has something to compare. And why did you decide that she wrote, and it turns out she photographed, not the truth?
Levitan
Quote: Natalia72

And you can learn more about other claims. I'm just now in front of choosing a multicooker.
I wrote on some forums, I repeat. If anyone has read it, I beg your pardon. It's not that the model is bad. I have a complaint about the customer service (or who should be in charge of consulting buyers). Probably, Redmond manufacturers believe that no one, and are only engaged in the promotion of a multicooker on the Internet. But I bought it, and they are not interested in you as a client. I drew such conclusions from communication with representatives on the MB website. about and on the MB forum. RU. Recipes, albeit very wonderful, I do not need, I cook well myself. As they say - not the first year married. I need answers to technical questions. For example, why can't I stew cutlets or cabbage rolls on the Stewing program (MV instantly heats up to 160 g, the protection works and the MV switches to heating mode), and meat or meatballs are stewed on the same program perfectly. In correspondence with MV. I was advised to take the MV to the service. I rummaged through the Internet, I found out the reason myself, it turned out that my CF is in perfect order, I found how to avoid it. But do I have to do this, know all the subtleties of the device, and not the technical support should explain it to me? And if I listened to the representatives of Redmond, I would have lost at least a day to go to the service, I would have dragged there a perfectly serviceable MV. Don't the manufacturers know about the temperature sensor on the lid and the features of the extinguishing program? They know, but they did not delve into my question, but formally unsubscribed. Come on, aunt, rush around Moscow with a multicooker on your day off. The same is for the MB. RU. To my (please note - very polite) offers to talk about technical issues were rude, they deleted posts or closed the topic and dumped it into the archive. What a secret? Competitors have long ago disassembled your MV by cogs. It is now in the technical descriptions that there are signs on what mode the temperature should be, on the profile site you can see the instructions for any MV, and earlier this secret was kept by seven locks. Or they were afraid that the imperfection of some programs would come to light. After all, several modified versions of the same model were released in one year - work on bugs.
In this regard, Brand is ahead on a dashing horse. Also, Panasonic's glitches have been studied for a long time and answers can be found. But, purchasing Redmond, you need to be prepared that you will have to figure it out on your own.
As for our conversation with Elena Bo. I cannot say that the person is lying. On the contrary, I admire the work done. I wrote about this above. But in a single case (what exactly for this user the brand works better than Redmond), one cannot judge the models at all. I wrote above in the same way that nothing burns on me, so it's sad if someone is unlucky and they come across an unsuccessful CF. Brand also has a marriage rate.
Arka
As an active user of the 2011 Redmond 4502 I will also say a couple of things, of course about the shortcomings.
Burn does not burn, but sticks to the surface of the bowl, probably many users write about this "burning". And this is inconvenient when baking, either grease the bowl well with oil or shake it until it falls out.
Regarding extinguishing without a sufficient amount of liquid, I also had a "sensor trigger" and a transition to heating. By the way, LevitanHow did you solve this problem, or are you using another program?
I also don't really like stewing (and I use it very often), that the first 10 minutes it boils (boils).
That's probably all that I noticed from the shortcomings (for me, these are shortcomings).
There is no sticking in the ceramic bowl, and I bought it not at all to eliminate problems, but because there is a large "vote of no confidence" in Teflon. Well, I can't force myself to cook in Teflon after the first scratches, knowing that the coating already begins to evaporate all filth when heated ... So I bought another bowl.

And another huge request to change the style in the theme to a constructive one, let's go without emotion. And arguing about oranges is better for those who ate them.
It will be much better to share "secrets", discoveries, etc. in the topic, than to compare different models, there are other branches for this.
For example, I go here to share or search for information specifically on Redmond 4502, and it is not convenient to dig up information in the sea of other text, IMHO.

Elena Bo, why are you with her like that? She doesn't say anything bad.

I just replied to a post that was later edited. And Levitan wrote there what she was for the truth. It turns out that I'm not for the truth? But if there is such a sad experience, why can't I inform about it?
I did not offend or insult anyone. Facts for information only. If nobody needs it, I'm sorry.

Quenching. Or I add water (thinner sauce) so that there is steam. Or on a multi-cooker 100 gr. At the moment, cabbage rolls are on the stew in the MV - first they were fried for frying (4 pieces in 2 doses), then for Stewing with sauce, sauce - viola cheese + a can of tomatoes in pieces in their own juice + a bit of boiling water + all sorts of different spices. The flight is normal.
I can't say anything about burning - I once had a sponge cake for a Boston pie in a simple bowl on baking 2 times for 50 minutes each (i.e. 1 hour 40 minutes), it did not burn. I even photographed for the recipe that time, and posted it on the forum at Nastya Violin's.
The crust was denser when I learned to cook rice, that is, the rice on the bottom is "no ice". All the same, I achieved from the principle of good rice, but I spat on this matter, and now I cook as before on the stove according to Pokhlebkin.
In general, the soup and stewing programs are my favorites, I drive them more often than others. Ah, if only my model had a multi-cook for 12 hours

How I added the list of kitchen devices - I just wrote in other graphs. Now I'll go to my profile and take a look.

Elena Bo, if you have any questions for me, let's cross swords in a personal. I have come across your posts on the forum more than once - I take off my hat and offer friendship and all the rough questions in a personal, okay?

Although not Levitan, I can explain
On this program there is a choice of t (sufficient range) and cooking time (in different versions of the model from 1 to 12 hours), a program for creativity
There are such programs in other MVs, but in which ones I won't tell you exactly, since I only own Redmond.
Vichka
I read it and I'll tell you what.
I had a rice cooker and everything was good in it. Then Polaris 506 appeared (broke down quickly) changed to 508, became even more satisfied; and the bowl seemed good and the programs are right. Well, when I bought Dex 50, I saw such a comparison! And now I have Brand 37501. It immediately became clear that this is the best of the best. But Dex 50 was very fond of and love.
I bought Redmond after reading the MUL. RU. I bought it as a gift, BUT such a gift to give to a loved one, while having the best, I certainly could not. As a result, two Brands were purchased.
Girls! I DO NOT WANT to swear over the pots! I wrote what I could compare. I have not yet met who has both of these multicooker and who can actually compare them. But the comparison is palpable. Throw anything at me BUT Brand's bowl is so much BETTER! I really like Redmond, the design, the color scheme, everything is OK! but not a bowl, not even a pottery.

GIRLS! I LOVE EVERYONE!!! 🔗

Vika, I don't doubt you!
Everything goes from simple to complex (then the opposite is true) and from worst to best!
I've bought Redmond (this is my firstborn) because personally I was not sorry to unfasten $ 135 for it and conduct the experiment "Do I need it in principle?"
Now I know what I need!
And when he gets old (or fails pah-pah-pah), I'll worry about buying the next MB.
Then I will conduct a serious market research

To all the owners of Redmond, thanks for the help. Special thanks to Levitan for comprehensive answers. I'm probably inclined to buy Redmond after all. Moreover, tomorrow in one electronics hypermarket they promised the arrival of a new model M-70. In it, the bowl should be improved, maybe there will be no problems with "sticking". I can't wait any longer, I really want to try a multicooker, since I have never used such a thing, and I was tempted only thanks to the reviews about this miracle of technology on this site. I wish everyone a good mood and pleasure from cooking culinary masterpieces. I'll go look for interesting recipes for multicooker

I wish you all a good happy shopping. Any CF makes work very easy.
About multi-cook agrees with Arka. By the way, there is a multi-cook on Brand, and in the M70 the bowl is also made of some special material (it seems to be the same as that of Brand now) and you can additionally buy ceramics.
By the way, in my development of redmond, due to the lack of information, the profile site of Brand LLC helped me a lot. At one time I even actively advised to draw the attention of future buyers to Brand.
Whatever CF a person buys, a new one will soon appear even better. Therefore, let the manufacturers break the spears. And I am personally very happy with the purchase. Despite the shortcomings of my CF, I realized what it is all about CF, what I personally need, what is not. I know what you need when buying the next one. After all, someday (after 2 years) the time will come to buy a new one. And now mine helps me a lot. Today I put the cabbage rolls to stew, chatted with you, and went to bed (I am from the night shift today), woke up, and my cabbage rolls are on the heating - delicious. My men are fed no problem. And I like the soup, that you don't have to wait for it to boil, make it quieter, watch out. Of course, there is no such thing as they say about MB, "threw it and left", after all, some of my actions are needed, but the preparation of MB is made easier and due to its tightness the food turns out to be tastier.

Hello everyone. We did it!!!!! We bought Redmond-M70 last night.

Immediately from the recipe book prepared the Vegetable Stew. Sorted it out the first time. Delicious.Rice milk porridge was set on the timer in the morning. Also, there were no difficulties with the installation, and at 2 o'clock in the morning we went to bed. It was a little scary that the porridge would run away (some wrote about it), but everything turned out to be just fine. The porridge turned out grain to grain, very tasty and nothing burnt and did not think to run away.

Since this is my first slow cooker, I cannot compare it to anything. But I was already delighted and realized that I could cook almost anything on it.
If someone has specific questions about this model or suggestions, write. Together with you, I will master the new technique. I started with the simplest things. I'll try to post a photo:

Thanks for the overview photos, but how are you doing with the bowl coating?
Natalia72
I have nothing to compare with. There was a TEFLON DU PONT sticker on the bowl. From what I've heard, this is a durable finish. At the expense of burning, or rather sticking - there are even no hints. Now for the soup I fry onions with carrots, often interfered so that they did not burn, but it seems that even if I left it unattended, nothing bad would have happened. (Fry vegetables for 10 minutes).

I have something to compare with I had a regular bowl that came with the M4502, it stuck in it Yesterday I bought a RIP-A2 bowl with a two-layer coating, namely TEFLON DU PONT. Heaven and earth! Very nice bowl! Now there is still RIP-C2 with a ceramic coating left to buy
I bought it yesterday at the Okay store for 919 rubles. In general, there is now a promotion, the RMC4503 multicooker is sold for 2100 + a RIP-A2 bowl as a gift, that is, the multicooker itself goes beyond 1200. And with a ceramic coating I want to order here 🔗 and I want to take more glasses for yogurt there.

Strange, it seems to me that such a bowl with a two-layer coating is my own. That is, with such a bowl, I bought a multicooker. And the second one in the same box (sorry, I didn't keep the box, but that's for sure about the double coating), and later ceramics. Maybe they used to sell MB with bad bowls, hence the dispute about burns. Nothing burns with me - neither onions nor carrots. And yesterday I set the pork in pieces to fry, closed the lid so that the temperature would rise faster, so there, on the contrary, the liquid was "knee-deep", not something that burns. Usually everything is fine - both chicken and meat.
kubanochka Thanks for the cups. I liked the picture, and the volume is not small (180), and there is a date marker. Need to buy. How much, I wonder, fits in the bowl. The set includes 4 pieces, it will probably fit into the bowl 8.
Now I have found information from October 2011 that new bowls RIP-A2 have appeared on sale. I bought my MV at the end of November - probably it was equipped with this bowl. Now it is clear why some burns, others do not.
MsCle
Natalia72, I have also stopped my choice on the redmont M70. Tell me, but in the process of work this MV is not very noisy (my child is small, he still sleeps 4 times during the day)? And when the cooking program ends, is the beep very loud?

I apologize for not responding immediately, I was away. The multicooker is completely silent, the sound signal at the end is not loud and pleasant.

Apparently the recipe for "Redmond" 2011 I have a "quenching" of 2 hours.
It turns out that you need to set the extinguishing time to 2 hours and perform the specified action one hour before the end.
Is the cooking time not specified in the recipe?

She greased the bowl with butter (melted the butter on the stove right in the bowl and smeared it with a silicone brush). MV Redmond M70
So this is a completely new multicooker, this model has been on sale for no more than a month. Therefore, there are probably no experienced owners yet. As far as I know, the M70 has a milk porridge function. And the proportions are the same as in Panasonic (for your taste - thinner or thicker). How the timer sets I'll tell you about my 4502, it is similar to the M70. First, we set the program as usual (instructions for yours, page 16), just do not start, turn on the delayed start for the time for which ready-made porridge is necessary (page 21), click on the start.

I have a Cartoon 4502 rus which. by the way I tried to make potatoes, as it was written here ... class! 25 minutes and effortlessly the potatoes are ready! no need to stand at the stove, watch. I will be glad if someone else writes some recipes!
by the way, tell us how to cook buckwheat and in what mode?
Levitan
To Varka (any). Do not open the lid, the programs are sensory, they will turn off themselves when the buckwheat is cooked.
Ekaterina_Z
ah .... I just tried it on cooking, but I opened the lid .. so apparently the shutdown did not work .. if I hadn’t turned it off myself, the buckwheat would have burnt.
How much water do you add to a cartoon glass of buckwheat?
Levitan
You can't cook one glass on the touchscreen, it's better to use a multi-cooker (100 degrees no higher) and peep. You don't have to peep, buckwheat is cooked for about 15-20 minutes. Put the multi-cooker on 100 g for 15 minutes, if not cooked, for another 5.
It is not recommended to open the lid on touch programs, because then the program can run indefinitely until you manually turn it off. Sensory programs work on the principle of water evaporation, the sensor (sensor) is on the lid, and if you open the lid, the program gets lost.
In terms of volume, cook on touchscreens no less than half a kilo of cereals. I fall asleep 4 multi-glasses without the top of buckwheat and pour water several centimeters above the cereal (half a finger in the length of a finger or the thickness of two fingers), do not forget to salt. Or - there are marks on the bowl, water is obtained approximately up to mark 5.
In general, the ratio of water: cereals in a multicooker is the same as in a regular saucepan.
Rice in a glass of cereal 2 tbsp. water, buckwheat - 2.5 tbsp. water, millet, pearl barley - 3 glasses. Or see the proportions on the package. For multi, they are the same.
Ekaterina_Z
Irina, thank you very much! I don't need a buckwheat runoff)))) I have enough two glasses for the two of us .... I'll have a tada on a multi-cooker ... although it's inconvenient. I thought to throw it all the same and forget ...
Levitan
On a multi-brew, for the first time, determine how long it takes for two glasses. Then expose this time and no problems. In the beginning, I started a notebook and wrote it down, now I feel that and how much.
After the end of the program, if you do not turn off the MW, then the cartoon will automatically go into heating mode (70 degrees), which is good for buckwheat - it is useful to sweat for it and will not cool down.
Elena Bo
I don't understand why there are so many problems? And there are no automatic programs for rice and buckwheat? Why not weld on them?
Levitan
Lena, there are sensory ones especially for rice and buckwheat. But I personally don't like to boil a small amount in a large bowl. I say that on touchscreens it is better to cook from 4 multi-glasses, for two it is better to use a different program (automatic).
Sensory - this is where the CF determines the time itself
Automatic - where the time needs to be set
