a long time ago, when the model entered our market, the complete bowl was with a branded Teflon coating.
My 4502nd 2012. The branded Teflon coating on the native bowl is excellent, still like new. But I also had a bowl as a gift for the multicooker, this one, in my opinion, is a little worse, I have to wash it (there is some kind of white coating, but with the help of citric acid and water in the Steam program it is cleaned), I also bought a ceramic bowl for it ( also from redmond), with that one I generally had problems with plaque and so on, it generally stands in a box.

Hello to the owners of 4502, I have it recently, more than a month, in general I'm happy, this is my first slow cooker. Cooking is convenient. I cooked rice in milk, buckwheat, sautéed eggplant and zucchini, boiled pork - I liked everything. Such a thrill of the unknown, every time I think how it will turn out. Everything is good so far. Just want to ask how you are with baking, I baked the default cake baking program for one hour. So the pie that I bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 grams, 40 minutes in a slow cooker, the bottom burned out a little. And today I baked a honey cake in a slow cooker according to a recipe from our website, in a recipe for baking 60 minutes plus 20 minutes. So in my case, the bottom burned out a bit again. Is it just me?

Alla, different models of multicooker can be set to different temperatures, even if the names of the modes are the same, for example, "Baking". You didn’t get the recipe from 4502, or even from Redmond, so please amend it for the future.
I saw other honey cake recipes, there is a time of 50 minutes, if you do not turn it over. You have 80 minutes, you see, that's a lot.

Alla, I bake honey cake on Baking 40 min. + about 20 min. (guided by the smell). In the program "Baking 50 min." the temperature is reduced at the end, therefore it is better after 40 minutes. reset it and click on "Baking" again. Try it, I hope everything works out

Alex_Fil, OlennaTM, thanks for the advice, I have one hour displayed by default. Thank you for explaining what was happening, for the first time I wanted to do it according to the recipe and seeing what happened I will reduce the time. I checked it with a little torch, but I couldn't see the bottom. Thank you !!!

I have a model 4502, release - the end of 2012, I never noticed that if you set 50 minutes, then the temperature supposedly drops at the end.
At Baking, I often bake chicken or whole (1.3 ~ 1.4 kg) or chicken legs, I just set the time to 45 or 50 minutes. I turn it over 3 times during this time, at the end the moisture just evaporates and the crust starts to turn red. According to the instructions, the temperature at Baking is maintained at 118-122 * C. So, I think, there is no need to restart the program, why do we need extra body movements, just select the cooking time for your recipe, for this portion, and next time set how much is needed for the optimal result.
And in other multicooker, where they write 60 + 20 minutes, it is most likely that Baking has a fixed, unchangeable default time, and in order to add the cooking time, they restart the program and then turn it off manually after some interval.

In my 4502 (16-program), you can see the current temperature on the bottom and on the lid of the multicooker, so I can track it. But I have 50 minutes on the BAKERY. and this time cannot be changed. Maybe in subsequent modifications and in a different way

Your model is quite old, 2011. Now these have not been released for a long time. The function of viewing the temperature of the lower and upper sensors on the display was cool. I do not think that at the end of the program, the temperature was reduced in Baking, the temperature on any program is maintained by turning on / off the heating element, so from time to time the temperature rises / falls relative to the value set for the program, it may just drop at the end of cooking , and for a different composition of products, perhaps, it would end with a set of temperature - these cycles cannot be guessed.
And now the model M4502E is on sale in Russia, with an English-language scoreboard and inscriptions on the buttons. But the range of cooking times on programs like mine, 2012, judging by the instructions. Surely, the controller firmware and the program algorithm are the same.

I have a question for the owners of 4502: where can you see information about your multicooker on the multicooker itself? I only had the instruction from her left, but on the multicooker itself I did not find any information, I twisted it - looked, but found nothing. Are there any prints or stickers with info on your multicooker?
Rarerka
And what kind of infa interests?
Lagri
Well, as usual, the serial number, year of manufacture, and, as usual, the signs on the multicooker stickers are different, etc.
Rarerka
There is such a thing. Glued behind
Lagri
But I have not, nothing is pasted.
Although I found something, some prints are almost invisible. How did they do it ... After the purchase, the porridge ran away strongly and I scrubbed the multicooker, probably erased everything. Ludmila, Thank you for participating.

Even these are not prints, but something that can be easily erased.

Hey everyone! I have steam fish today. How simple it is, the potatoes were boiling below, I laid them 10 minutes earlier, and 12-15 minutes is enough for the fish. So it turned out, two in one. Convenient and dietary.

Lagri, Maria, on my back there is a sticker on which the RMC Redmond M4502E model is written
AC -220-230 V -50 \ 60 Hz
Power 860 W
And with the right serial number.

Ava11, Alla, thanks for the information. Apparently, over time, it fell off, the prints from it only remained. Well, okay, it might not come in handy ... I have only the instructions, and the recipe book, and the warranty card, check, etc., this has long been gone.
And you got the fish. I also often make duet dishes. And after cooking the fish, the smell lasts for a long time from the multi, or do you remove it with lemon?
Ava11
LagriThank you Masha! You can come to me. The fish was juicy, but there was no smell, I try to wash it right away so that the smell is not absorbed. My slow cooker is new for only 2 months. This is my first slow cooker, there was a choice between the dd2 staff, but they are not in our stores, so I settled on this model, while I'm happy, I was the first to bake a vanilla pie and somehow it smells like vanilla to me, all the time. I like to add a little more vanilla to rice with milk. Milk porridges are wonderful. And the dishes are very convenient, the minimum cost and 2 dishes are immediately ready, I'm going to make buckwheat with steam cutlets.
Lagri
Ava11, Alla, and on what mode do milk porridges turn out wonderfully? I cook on a multi-cooker of 100 degrees, and on Kasha somehow from the beginning of the purchase, the milk porridge ran away, very much, I poured the whole mv and the table, so I no longer cook porridge in this mode.
Ava11
Lagri, Masha, I want to draw your attention to the fact that my model is with the letter E and everything is in English on my screen, the COOK program then I choose OATMEAL in Russian, it's porridge, the instructions say the temperature is 90 g, I set the time for 20 minutes. I grease the bowl with butter, add 100 grams of rice, 2 glasses of milk, 1 glass of water, salt, sugar, butter about 20 grams, vanilla. Be sure to install a steam plastic basket on top. This prevents milk from escaping. Once I forgot it, too, it ran away, not much, but the steam valve was covered in milk and the lid was all over, it was unpleasant to wash. And the steam basket is easy to clean! Of course, you can make the proportions to your taste, for me this is optimal, I made 3 glasses of liquid per glass of rice, it turns out thick. I like thinner. You can then leave it on heating a little.
Lagri
Alla, I know about the steam bowl, I also used it somehow, but I still like this alignment more - put cereals, milk, set the mode and not be afraid that the milk will run away. Therefore, I cook milk porridge on Multipovar at a temperature of 100 degrees. I always cook rice milk porridge in a ratio of 1: 5, millet 1: 6 for 50 minutes, that's enough.
Ginger
Dear 4502 owners, can you please tell me where you can buy a new multi bowl? Mine is already worn out, it should be replaced. And on the Internet, mostly bowls for new models. I just can't find it. Maybe I'm not looking there ...
Ava11
Maria, thanks, I will also try porridge 1 to 5 I want it thinner while still mastering a slow cooker, I recently tried yogurt on a delayed start. Happened. Happy as an elephant.
And today I have fish steamed cakes.

The pairs program is 20 minutes, maybe a lot of time, but since I did it for the first time, I decided to play it safe.
Lagri
Allawhat cutlets! And what program is yogurt on? On the Multipovar? And how many hours?
Ava11
Maria, thanks, the cutlets are very tender, soft, I just had a couple of drops of soy sauce on top, yummy.
Yogurt, yes - on the multi-cook program the temperature is 40 degrees, the time is 4 hours. I tested a new program for me - a delayed start, I was worried so that it would not switch to heating, and then the temperature would be healthy. Everything worked out. I did it on a pharmacy enzyme and pre-boil the milk and refrigerate. I also want to try it from store-bought yogurt. In short, there is no end to the work!
Ava11
Hello to all owners! Today I have a composite pie, I made it by eye, half of the flour is whole grain. Top half a plum, half a nectarine. Multi-cook program, temperature 140, time an hour, although probably 5-10 minutes less is possible. Made with a flip on baking paper and added another 10 minutes. It is very unusual to bake in a slow cooker, the top was pale, so I turned it over. Greatly tall turned out.
