We bought this device the other day. Bribed the price. The first experience was not entirely successful, but it was our fault. We put rice porridge, increased the volume, but there was no cooking time, the compote the next day turned out to be very even (only long). Tell me, colleagues, owners of this brand's equipment, the measuring cup in the kit measures what and by what marks (I haven't found it anywhere in the books). The second question - when they put the compote, it heated 3 liters of water for 30 minutes - is this normal? Or are there any tricks to reduce the cooking time?

Editor13, pour hot water. Then the water will boil faster and the float will rise faster, which will help the pressure cooker reach the set mode.
And the cups in multicooker are standard, at the top risk 160 ml
For example, the proportion of rice per side dish is 2: 3, where 2 measuring cups of rice, and 3 measuring cups of water.
Editor13
RituslyaSo, thanks, and the recipes in the book are given for how many servings, for two? And how many cups of rice if the recipe contains 150 grams. A glass of 160 ml, but that's not 160 grams of bulk products, right? Apparently it will be necessary to try with quantities ...
Rituslya
Editor13, I honestly don't remember how many servings in the recipe book are given ingredients. These recipes are not always successful. You can see the recipes here on the forum.
And be sure to buy kitchen scales. The right thing really.
Editor13
Rituslya, thanks, I'll take a look at the forum, only such a model is not mentioned here ...

Editor13, just read about any Reds pressure cooker. They are all very similar to each other in the way they are cooked. There are not many pages in the topics, quickly manage.
I sold my pressure cooker a long time ago, so I forgot everything.
Editor13
RituslyaWhy did you sell it, did it not live up to your trust?
Editor13
Good members of the forum, tell me, who of you was fond of making jam in the "pressure cooker-slow cooker" apparatus? As a result, did you meet expectations? And the main question is whether the jam turns out to be classic or a la five minutes and is stored only in the refrigerator?
The test of my purchase passes without fanaticism, but the oatmeal turned out to be tasty, I already wrote about the compote from s / f. Yes, but steamed broccoli for some reason turned out to be overcooked, maybe I messed up with the parameters? But in my current position, it is also a chorus.
Editor13
Here it is, a miracle of technology.Multicooker-pressure cooker REDMOND RMC-PM503
And no one will answer my previous question about jam? It's a pity, because there was hope for experts.

So, today we decided to make steam cutlets from Indian meat with rice - there is such a program in the book. We ground a turkey thigh with an onion, added quail eggs and made balls from the minced meat. Everything else was done strictly according to the recipe from the book (rinsing rice, salting water, "express" program), though I did not notice the cooking time. Probably no more than half an hour and a completely freaky aroma went through the kitchen - I did not expect this. The program ended, but I did not take out the dish - there was still time until lunchtime. Maybe this was a mistake, since the bottom of the rice turned out to be brown, as if it was a little burnt, but did not stick to the bowl (this is a plus). The dish itself turned out to be delicious, even the spouse, who was previously skeptical about speed cookers, noticed that she did not have to stand at the stove, but was able to take care of her flower beds on the site (this is also a plus). And after lunch, she said that "how tasty this right food can be" - that means she liked it. They also brewed compote from s / f again - it turned out well too. Now I will have to try to cook another protein omelet, since I still cannot do whole eggs (with yolk) ... So far, the impressions of the purchased device are positive.

I also ordered this device today. I'm waiting for delivery. At first I wanted to buy a Redmond 350, but I didn't really like the price. And here is the novelty Redmond 504 and 503. I ordered 504. The price is just class. UAH 2200 I'm waiting. After the tests I will unsubscribe

And so my radish came. Very happy. Immediately prepared a veal meatball using the vacuum program. But there is no vacuumator yet. Marinated in spices. Wrapped it in plastic wrap very well and put it in a bag with a lock. It turned out very tasty. She poured water and placed a bag of meat there. Vacuum program. Super tasty. I will continue to test.

pelmen_kaCongratulations on your purchase and first cooking!

Good day! Tell me the -503 model dumps steam by itself or do you need to force the dump to open immediately / as in Brand 6050 /?
Anna Makl
Tatdoes not reset itself. There is a dedicated button.

Good day! Can you please tell me, can anyone come across the following: Redmond 504 strangely cooks in the stewing / aspic mode, when I cook meat in a large amount of water, it works as it should (it gains pressure and cooks under pressure). When I put the goulash to stew (350 ml of water), it shows that the pressure has been reached, but the valve is released, and the lid is not blocked. I turn it off and on again, the pressure picks up and immediately drops. Is it supposed to work like that or is it faulty?

When I put the goulash to stew (350 ml of water), it shows that the pressure has been reached, but the valve is released, and the lid is not blocked.
This is usually the case with all pressure cookers with a small amount of liquid. It is necessary to wait until more pressure is accumulated, that is, it will boil more, there will be more steam, there will be more pressure, the valve will close. If it does not close for more than 5 minutes with the amount of liquid 350, then you need to increase the amount of liquid a little.
It is better to check the performance of the program without food on water, starting from two measuring cups, increasing each time by 50 ml. Run the program only when you have poured the required amount of liquid, and not topping up the previous one. Fill in water at room temperature each time. This will allow the multicooker to return to operating mode, gain pressure correctly and close the valve. When you check this, you will know how the pressure build-up depends on the amount of fluid. The more liquid, the less time the steam goes from the valve and the faster the lid is blocked. The less liquid, the longer the steam goes from the valve and the longer the cover does not block. In my redmonds it is like that.

Drops because it hasn't cooled down. Let it stand for at least 5 minutes, then turn on the program again.

Alena, thanks! I will check the multicooker as advised.

Natasha123Have you checked the multicooker? Now how does she cook? Are you satisfied with everything?
Natasha123
Yes, now everything is fine, I had to adjust a little after Steba, I use it almost every day
Miss ershova
Girls, how to cook cottage cheese on it?
Nadushka_Sh
Hello everyone! Are there any other active users of this model? I’m just choosing a new multicooker, thinking about a regular multicooker or a pressure cooker. There was never a pressure cooker. Does it really save a lot of time on the steaming or porridge mode?
