Rice, even in pilaf, at least separately, always and in all multicooker and pressure cookers I cook 1k1. Rice is ordinary white.
Or you can use the scale in the bowl. If we pour 2 multi-glasses of rice, then pour water up to the 2 cup mark (actually for this, the scale in the bowl is given - for cooking white rice)
julia_bb
Elena Bo, about the scale in the bowl, it's cool, thank you))

next time I will put as Igorechek advises 1: 1.25 rice to water (and not vice versa, apparently the gamer was mistaken)
Yes, yes, I reported a little. Of course - it is water that is slightly larger than the volume of rice of "regular" varieties.

Yesterday I made paella: almost according to the recipe, but instead of rice I took Arborio instead of rice, and mussels without shells instead of scallops. A pinch of saffron was not enough: the rice was practically not stained; need to take more. And salt: 2 tsp. - it's still a lot; took one. It turned out very much even nothing! Mine died in one go

Too much water for pilaf. For pilaf, a ratio of 1: 1 is better, or a maximum of 1: 1.3, but not more. This proportion can only work for parboiled rice (for this, 1: 2 will do).

Recently I cook pilaf only in a pressure cooker, but this time I decided to return to Panasonic.
I read that many people cook pilaf from round rice, I decided to try it with it. I love pilaf only with beef, but it needs to be stewed for 1 hour on average, and since it was hot last weekend and I didn't want to heat the kitchen for another hour, I cooked it from pork. Previously, I cooked zirvak on frying, literally fried pork for a couple of minutes (so that it would not be dry afterwards). And that's all, I poured rice and added water at the rate of 1: 1.5. The rice was round Krasnodar, made by Mistral. "Pilaf" mode, everything was prepared wonderfully. I was afraid that rice would be porridge, but no, everything is very tasty and right.
But frankly, I still like long-grain rice and beef pilaf more. But if I need to quickly cook, I will cook using this option too.

Girls, hello! Please tell me who knows!

-whether a 5-liter bowl from Redmond fits this cartoon (M70, M150 ... it still fits the old Redmond and fits into the M90, it doesn't bother that it has no handles). I have as many as TWO excellent bowls, but I don't want Redmond anymore, I decided to rush to Panasonic, as to the most reliable one. It is great for the old Panasonic, but did anyone try this one?

-What does she have with the fogging of the display (there are such reviews) - is it directly critical, or does it not bother you?

- Does it fry stronger than the old Panas-18?

Thank you very much!
Galin
I can't say anything about the cups from Redmond because I don't have them. This is only if you come to someone with empty bowls and try them on, but they may differ in shape and then there may not be a complete fit of the bowl to the disc.
The display does not fog up. On a multi-cooker the temperature is max. 140 and there is also the Roasting function. This is quite enough for me, but I don’t fry it to coals. Chops, fish fry, etc. the temperature is enough.
jonny
Thank you! As I understand it, you advise and should take))

I just can't make up my mind, maybe, on the one hand, it's not clear whether my bowls will fit, and on the other hand, it's scary to take something other than Panasonic, my Redmond was not old at night, he cooked broth and sprinkled, having cut out the corks, with the smell of burning and other things ... not a pressure cooker , just apparently the temperature limiter decided not to limit itself in anything)

My bowls fit a 5-liter stadler form, and they seem to be similar to this new Panasonic ... I'm afraid to take Stadler, maybe it's like an "incomprehensible company" like Redmond?

So I rush - or chase cups, or "score" and let it be with one cup, but Panasonic. Panasik has been plowing a dozen for me so far, already 4 years old, mmm. True, slow, of course, but stable
jonny
oops: I remembered another important question! And the delay of the start in what modes? Stewing, soup, steam ... is there? Or like old people, only on the sensory ones - buckwheat, pilaf, milk porridge?
thanks again!
julia_bb
jonny, only on touchscreen :(
Julit
Hello everyone,
I appreciate the quality of Panasonic and bought this cartoon in a company with an old woman for 2.5 liters.
Maybe someone will tell me about the following questions (I’ll say right away that I am 100% satisfied with the quality of food preparation):
1) Immediately after the purchase, the met. collapsible valve ring. I have not yet tried to glue it back, because this ring does not affect anything, purely external design. Someone had this piece of iron peeled off? What glue was used to put it back in place?
2) After about 3 weeks, a small crack formed, extending from the valve down to the screen. The crack later enlarged and now extends from the valve down almost to the edge and through the backlit screen.
I don't know what to do about it. Will it be considered a non-warranty repair in the service? I don't remember any blows or pressure on the multi lid, but the cartoon traveled with us on vacation by car ... In my opinion, the crack appeared somehow suddenly. The multi crack does not affect the work (as it seems to me). What do you advise?
Thanks in advance for the opinions.

Roza_Irina
I have a cartoon for almost a year, nothing came off, nothing cracked. Maybe a marriage? I would try to contact the service center.
Mine is now being repaired, but here it is my own fault, I experimented with a stainless steel bowl and the smoke went off. Why the overheating protection did not work remained a mystery to me. The temperature sensor has flown, they are waiting for a spare part from abroad. I really miss the assistant, the third week has already gone without her.
Julit
And another question about yogurt in this cartoon.
I heat the milk to 37 degrees, stir the leaven in it, pour it into cans, put them in a cartoon on a Multipovar 40 degrees for 8 hours, that is, I do everything right.
Approximately in the middle of the cycle, I measured the temperature inside the future yogurt with an incubator alcohol thermometer. It was 42 degrees. Does this mean that the cartoon overheats and the bacteria die?
Yes, I don’t pour water into the cartoon (I don’t see the point), I just put the jars on a napkin, at the bottom of the multi.
Manna
JulitWhat starter do you use? 42 ° С - not overheating yet, but already the limit.

There is a sense - a more even heating inside the jars. In the case of a dry napkin, the bottom warms up more than the middle and top.
EnichkaEnina
In the old Panas18 I really liked the * pilaf * mode due to the fact that the pilaf at the bottom was slightly fried, but here also? Thank you

Yes, a little "grabbing".

The duet has just muddied up: rice was smoked in a bowl, and pike perch fillet was on top in a double boiler. I'll write here so that I don't forget myself and make it easier for others, because it turned out to be VERY tasty! In general, 1.5 m. Art. rice ("Jasmine" turned up) at 3 m. Art. water is in the bowl. Added nothing except turmeric. But then I thought that it would probably be nice to spice spices and butter (they were added later in plates), so next time I will also put it in the bowl right away. Above - a double boiler; it was covered loosely with foil, and on the foil I laid the pike perch fillet pre-marinated in soy sauce and spices. The lid is closed - the "Buckwheat" mode is turned on. I didn’t look inside, it hadn’t started to beep. I can't tell you what a delicious fish it turned out! Rice is also quite worthy: rice to rice, the very thing!
And from me a separate low bow to the manufacturer - for the fact that the whole dinner was prepared entirely and at the same time without my participation)))))
EnichkaEnina
Lotos N, thank you very much, I really miss just such a mode and it is also very important for me to have modes when you don't think about temperature and time, but the result is obviously excellent

Otozh! I broke my eyes about the reviews until I chose the cartoon and stopped being afraid of it)))) Super-device! One of my favorites in the kitchen - along with a marinator and a Tefalev fryer (which also fries everything for me and mixes it into sweets)

Good afternoon, lovely girls! Please help me solve the problem - I am faced with a choice of which multicooker to buy. At stake are 2 models - Panasonic MHS 181 and Panasonic TMJ 181. I read different reviews and my head is already spinning. Maybe some of you have experience in operating these machines, which one is more reliable and more convenient. Thank you.
Lotos N
marusenjka, to say exactly which is better, you must have both))) I have - MHS, but I already fell in love with her! I like everything: design, compactness, functionality, bucket size (5 liters matter!), And also the fact that she washes with one movement of a sponge! Even after frying meat!

TMJ is a barely modified old lady. No frying, no multi-cook, non-removable lid plate, the bowl cover is slightly weaker than that of MHS ... This is from theory, in practice I did not use any of them

No, well, you can understand if you choose between TMH, which is now almost free or MHS, which is expensive and has all the functions. And I would not take TMJ for the money that it costs now, it would be better if I took a novice with a multi-cook and in a new design.

Having a bunch of different MV and SV, every time I am convinced that Panasonic is brilliant in its simplicity and reliability.
Hopefully the new modifications won't let you down.

Pineapple pie.
Girls from a friendly forum baked.

I tried to make such a pie today. Baked on "baking" for 65 minutes, as in the recipe. I opened the lid - and the top is all white; the dough has risen to about the middle of the bowl. I put it on for another 10 minutes - it didn't get any easier. Decided to turn over for "20 minutes to the other side". And tell me how you twist it ??? I covered it with a dish, took out the bowl, turned it over (it all plopped on this dish), then I covered the pie on the dish with another dish, turned it over (it crumpled again), then covered it with a bowl and turned it over (it all flopped now on the bottom), when At this, the bottom toasted pineapple rings stuck to the dish, and I had to pick them off with a fork and glue them in place on the cake ... I'm waiting now for these 20 minutes to end ... I'm nervous ...
Manna
Lotos NTo remove the baked goods, you need to place the steam basket in the bowl, turn it over on it, then there will be no "flopping". The top in multicooker is always pale.It is better not to turn open pies - the appearance will deteriorate. It is better to either leave them pale, or blush in the oven, airfryer, etc.

Opened the lid - and the top is all white

In MV, the top of the pastry is always white.
And then, what will it bake with? There are no heating elements in the lids.

It is convenient to turn over with a double boiler, it sits lower than the dish.
For example, the white top does not bother me at all, you can decorate it with something or just turn it over.
Lotos N
Manna, RepeShock, thanks for the clarifications! The color does not bother me too much: I just assume that since it is white, then it is not baked ... And for the advice to use a double boiler - a special thank you! I didn't think of it, but this really solves the coup problem!

By the way, the pie is really tasty: we already ate it, I didn't even have time to take a picture

To avoid guesswork, pierce the pie with a wooden skewer. If it is dry, then the cake is baked.

I bought this model a long time ago. While standing. Since I use my old cartoon, also Panasonic. Can you please tell me, has anyone tried to cook dumplings according to the "Pelmeni" program? How does this program work in general? I can't imagine how to put frozen dumplings in a cold one !!! water.

Nobody puts dumplings in cold water, either you have to wait until the water boils, or pour boiling water from the kettle. I would not try to experiment with cold water. In old Panasonic I liked to cook on the Pilaf program, adapted to a certain amount of dumplings, pour boiling water from the kettle so that the dumplings were not completely covered with water, added butter and seasonings and chose the Pilaf program. The water was absorbed into the dumplings, it was delicious and easy to cook. Now I cook in a pressure cooker in exactly the same way, so I don't cook dumplings and dumplings in the new Panasonic and I can't share my experience.

Hello! I look closely at this model. Earlier I had a redmond m70, but it broke down and had to be returned to the store.
Please tell me what is the approximate time for boiling milk porridge and baking, for example, a biscuit?
Since the model is relatively new and there are few recipes for it, then how to adapt recipes from Panasonic 18?
Thanks in advance for those who responded!
