I bought this slow cooker for my sister, tell me what devices you use in it. I bought silicone spoons for my Dex, but I don't know, the saucepan is completely different.

Of course, silicone is better! This saucepan also has a delicate coating that does not tolerate harsh treatment.

Girls, hello everyone !! I have not visited the forum for a long time ..... you have discussions here ..... I am with a question, I can not find on which page they write about porridge on mulpovar ..... I do not remember what temperature to choose !!!!! Tell me please

Lena, it's probably too late, it seems you have been answered. It's just that during this period of "spring-field work" I run here after 22.00 ...
I literally cooked porridge today. On a multi-cooker. 100 * and 25 minutes (this is millet, ratio 1: 4) and 15 minutes on heating.

Oh girls! how the multicooker helps out now !!!! there are no forces, in this heat from work you can hardly drag your legs. And while you work out the "second shift" in the garden, this clever girl is puffing with supper ...
nika-773
Hello everyone! The question is a little off topic. Garden work is going on now, in general, I needed to warm up the seeds at 60 grams. On multi-cook for 60 grams for 3 hours, something seemed to me very hot, and I put it on 40 grams, and it seemed hot and I off .. Maybe someone has a temperature probe and 10 minutes of free time to check really on a multi-cook 60 grams is 60 and gives out. Thank you in advance. I think it will be interesting for everyone. Maybe my tactile sensations are deceiving me?
PALNA
Girls, please help with advice! I decided to buy myself a multicooker, before that there was no CF, so it is very difficult with the first choice. For a week now I have been surfing the Internet in search of descriptions and reviews for multi, in the end I settled on two models Polaris 0517ad and Brand 502. But I can't choose between them ... Do the Poles have "damp" programs? And with a polka, they take doubts in terms of the durability of the bowls, the brandy highly praise the bowls, they say they have thicker walls and after a year they are like new ones without scratches. You are already experienced users, you know all the pros and cons of your cartoons, tell me which one is better to choose
Irishka CH
PALNA, how can I advise here? I only have Polya. I personally VERY NRA. The bowl began to stick. the bottom is rubbed off, but the pastries began to fly out with difficulty. I will not lie, the vaunted (sellers!) "Ceramics" has not justified itself. Girls advise a Teflon bowl for frying, baking and baking. I'm still "looking". And the rest, our mule is SUPER !!! The choice is yours. I think you will not go wrong with any. Come to us, there are a lot of us here !!!
Zima
Brand 502 also has a ceramic coating, after a while it starts to stick, miracles do not happen, although it is thicker and heavier, of course ..

Irishka CH, I bought a second cartoon a couple of months ago - Stadler for 4 liters, I noticed that the shape of the bowl is one to one, like our 5 liter Poly (native), only the height, of course, is less. Therefore, I asked the girls-owners of 5L Stadler to try on the bowl and they gave me such measurements "the dimensions of the bowl are 145mm height, width with rim 23.5, inner diameter 21". She must fit! The bowl is plain coated and weighs a whole kg !!!!!! Look here for sale, maybe somewhere else 🔗... My Polaris bowl with a non-stick coating was already completely deformed - once I dropped it on the table, when I took out the casserole, the second time on the floor at all, so I would buy Stler's and try it on right now, but the money is not very good now. Now I only use a bowl with a non-stick, yet it is much more convenient in operation - the only inconvenience is that it turns when you interfere or turn something inside the saucepan, the handles at the native bowl fix it in a motionless state.
Zima
Thank you, Irish! I kept thinking not to write until I was convinced myself that the cup would fit 100%, it’s dumb to offer it to others, but what if not? But I really want to buy it myself, since the bowl is just beautiful, even 4 liters weighs 900 grams, and 5-liter girls wrote exactly 1 kg - it's nice to hold it in your hands)))
nika-773
Good health to all! I answer my own question. I found a gr at home for measuring tons of water (for bathing babies), measured a multi-cook 40 *, the thermometer stopped at 48 *, it's a pity that it is only up to 50 *. Here's how I got such a discrepancy (I wanted to warm up the seeds, it's good that I didn't).
Zima
For accurate readings with this thermometer, you need to measure the T of water, the T of the bottom of the pan cannot be measured correctly. Yesterday I also tried to make a temperature probe, but I didn't succeed.
Earlier I measured T water at different settings, I got the following:
if there is not enough water in the pan, the water temperature at the bottom of the pan may exceed the set value by 7-9C, the countdown starts and T gradually levels out. If there is a lot of water, then the countdown turns on at values less than the specified ones, for example, at 33C with a setting of 40C. And also gradually T is leveled, only in the other direction.
It's just that the multi does not have a temperature probe, T is determined by the heating element (its T) + a few degrees or a few more minutes of work in order to transfer thermal energy to the bowl of water (products). I read this assumption on another site and a company representative confirmed it. This value is averaged, so accurate values cannot be obtained. If there is little liquid, overheating, if too much, underheating (that is, the temperature at the bottom will be much higher than in the upper layers).
To warm up the seeds, try using Multipovar 50C on a small batch. It should not rise above 60C.

Girls, please help with advice!
For a week now I have been surfing the Internet in search of descriptions and reviews on multi, in the end I settled on two models Polaris 0517ad and Brand 502.
Do the Poles have "damp" programs? And with a polka, doubts are taken in terms of the durability of the bowl, from
Regarding Brand 502, I advise you to visit acc. branch.
Regarding the Polaris 0517ad bowl - it really isn't ice! after 2 weeks lost its non-stick properties ... In Redica 01 and in Zelmer ek1300 much better than a bowl! (my babies!)
So now I use Polya only for soups, jellied meat and sausages (in a ham maker in water in stewing mode)
Programs are OK! work as stated. True, I still do not understand why the program "Beans", since in fact 3 programs are duplicated: "Soup" - "Stewing" - "Beans" (see temperature conditions on the office site) only the time is different, which, by the way , can be adjusted !!!!
I did not use the multi-cook for lack of need. IMHO it is not needed, it is an overpayment. Better to be able to adjust the time for everyone prog like in Zelmer She is smart! Who is interested I can tell you in more detail.
In the Field I still do not understand that there is a program "Baking" t * = 145 * but without liquid it turns off after 15 minutes and goes into heating mode.
Porridge, pilaf, soups, cereal side dishes, stews in the Field - super!
The baking is also unusually good, but for some time now you have to put baking paper on the bottom
The frying mode is good! Not only the time is adjusted, but also the temperature!
At first I was skeptical about the "Pasta" mode (like that I can't cook pasta on the stove?), But being in the testing stage I used it for its intended purpose You know! Pts. It turned out to be a convenient mode, I liked it, I use it regularly!
Bottom line: Fields 517 is my first cartoon, I love her, I compare all subsequent ones with her! If not for her .... But that's a completely different story!
Lёlka
I have been using Fields since December. I don’t know, girls, what are you rubbing it with and how you interfere, that your cup is spoiling. I have (ugh, ugh) everything is OK! I use the multi-cook all the time. At the delayed start, I cook porridge. He helps me a lot. And talk about overpaying for it ?. It is not that we have and is expensive in comparison with the same other firms
NikSV
Olya!
Yes, the whole point, just, is that:
one.did not rub at all, until the pastries began to burn. After that, a long preliminary soaking, careful use of a soft foam sponge, boiling with a slice of lemon to restore (unfortunately not for long).
2.from the first days I used only with a silicone spatula.
It's just that, apparently, I was unlucky and got a bowl from a poor-quality batch ... So this is a certain lottery. And if you compare this bowl with the bowls from my other cartoons, it clearly loses (even visually).

Quote: Lёlka

I use the multi-cook all the time. At the delayed start, I cook porridge.
What's the catch? It was not easier to make a delayed start on the "Oatmeal" and "Milk Porridge" programs. Why force the user to use a delayed start on a multi-cook for these dishes? By the way, in my opinion, these programs also duplicate each other!
I share my impressions / conclusions, which in no way detract from Paul's merits. I repeat - I love it, but I think that marketers, in the struggle for the sales market, have been too clever with the number of programs (16 + 1, including duplicating each other), releasing it at a lower price than competitors.
But what about other manufacturers who claim 45 programs? The fig Why are they in so many? Don't they bring slippers?

The previous conclusions were drawn from the analysis of t * and the cooking time of all modes. I took the data from the office. site and arranged the programs in ascending order t *. See what happened:
Multicooker Polaris PMC 0517AD (reviews)

The conclusion applies to all multicooker: it is better to make fewer programs with certain (non-repetitive) t * modes with the ability to adjust the cooking time and the "delayed start" function.

NikSV, except for temperature modes - there are exit modes !!! at a given temperature
Beans, Soup, and Stewing differ in the speed at which the boiling point is set, and then maintaining the temperature is also different.
I posted in this Temka (from page 45) descriptions of the differences between the modes.
And the temperatures are different
I responsibly declare - there are no repetitive regimes. Similar - there are: Stew, Soup, Beans; Roasting / Baking. BUT they are not the same either, there are differences!
For example, boiling is very active on Beans, on Stew it is calmer, and on Soup it is very gentle.
On Baking, the temperature is about 145C; on Baking an average of 120-130C.
MolKasha and Oatmeal are not alike at all !!!
Who cares - I described in detail many times in the topic.
Multi-cook is a SUPER WATER !!!
both mulled wine and fondant (pastry) can be made; and just defrosting, and languor, and pilaf (with one button) can be set
That's about the bowl ... I have been using Teflon ceramics for a long time "on holidays"
YES and more!

I will illustrate my post about multi-cook.
They took out meat, vegetables, mushrooms from the freezer. They put everything in MV. Turned on 50C for 40 minutes. An hour later, that is, then the heating at 60C was 20 minutes, salt, seasoned, poked Stewing. Two hours later there was amazing food (husband said: like in a restaurant)
And when we defrost it in a different way, it often turns out kesya-months ... and the taste is stolovskiy

It is generally not recommended to defrost frozen vegetables before cooking (just in case). It's not fun for me to spend 3 hours in front of a cartoon and I can defrost meat in the microwave in 15 minutes and put everything to stew.
As you know, there is no dispute about tastes. I willingly believe that everything works out for you at 5+, (I also have no problems), but, unfortunately, the authoritative opinion of your spouse is not an argument for me.

So I say - to use cartoons you need, first of all, to change your psychology of cooking and trust automatic modes, and not do everything like on the stove, only in a multi-cooker! (this does not save time)
At first I also had "withdrawal symptoms", now I have adapted - I cook everything on the machine, I do not turn on the stove, I do not use a multi-cook, everything is OK! (I only lay a piece of paper on the baking)

so in this quote you are comparing Crust and Baking is wrong!
On Korochka, temperatures are much higher in short-term intervals, which allows almost burners to appear (on different products).
This won't happen on Bake. There, uniform (in time) maintenance of a temperature of about 145C.
A simple example. Apples baked on Crust will burn, and only in the trash
On Bake, delicious apples are delicious!
Forgive me, in your reviews on the last page I read a lack of understanding of many things in the device, that's why I spoke
I also FOR automatic modes. Only because she spoke out that for their full-fledged use, you need to understand: how they differ

it was for an honest reflection of the real flaw that I wrote about the Teflon bowl (750 rubles Polaris)
And the budget remains 5390 - the device itself plus 750 bowl = a total of 6140 rubles! For this price, this device is out of competition

I want to share my joy with you, my beloved gave me for our anniversary: an excellent assistant Multicooker Polaris PMC 0517AD.
I'll be honest that before (before I got it) I didn't quite understand the delight of my friends
who excitedly talked about the "miracle of the saucepan", and treated their stories with a grain of salt ...
I really love to cook and thought that I could do without "multicooker assistants".
But after reading the characteristics and reviews of the happy owners of multicooker on the network, I thought about buying.
For a long time and carefully I chose, compared, read a thousand reviews about different manufacturers and models, and finally found what I had been looking for for a long time.
This is a 5 liter multicooker. with a ceramic coating, a bunch of standard programs, a container for steaming, and containers for preparing yoghurt, and the best part is that there is also a "multi-cook" function with its help you can control the cooking process yourself: set the desired time, temperature, and there is also a delayed start (for example, she fell asleep in cereal in the evening, poured water over it, set the program and timer after how long it should start cooking, and went to bed.
In the morning a hot breakfast is ready.
After finishing cooking, the dish is automatically heated).
I will say one thing that now I have much more free time from cooking, which I spend with great pleasure on my beloved family: my daughter, husband and parents.

Time is one of the most basic things in life, which cannot be returned or bought ...
Therefore, you need to value and save time and not waste it.

It is a pity that when my daughter was very little I did not have such help.

For modern, working, busy mothers, and indeed for any person, this is an excellent solution.
Threw everything and go about your business.

Since I had more free time, I decided to share with you my recipes for multi)
Don't judge strictly, I'm just learning how to cook in a multicooker ;-)

Good day! I bought it for my mom yesterday, so we use it to the fullest, because mom needs to be taught how to use it, so that when I leave, she doesn't stand! Everything in it is good, but a 5-liter bowl from my Redmond fits. I baked bread, very well, cooked a compote from dried fruits without sugar - it was infused overnight, it was still very warm and became sweet and sugar is not needed ... So far, I am happy.
But here's the question - is it possible to turn off the Heating before the start of the cooking process, that is, to make sure that it does not turn on after the MB has completed the program?
Zima
Marish, no, the heating does not turn off in advance, but this is a rarity in cartoons up to 10,000 rubles, well, except that your Redmond 01 is an exception.
And even in the latest versions, something has been changed and improved, in my old version, if you set the time of 30 minutes on the Milk porridge program, it does not go into heating after cooking, and if 10 minutes, then it does, and in some programs there is no heating (Well, Yogurt, of course, and also kind of, I forgot - I honestly use no more than 5 programs + Multi-Cook). You just test everything, maybe there are such options in the new version. There were many mistakes in the instructions, I don't know how now.

NataMi, the countdown in some modes does not start immediately, but after the set temperature is reached. And first a snake runs on the screen. This is a normal situation.

Thanks for the answer!
So I'm testing it to the fullest. I also cooked a wrestler - I did it, it was delicious, I cooked it on the Stew function, I like it more, it is not so aggressive and you can cook a little more than a useful volume.
Yes, in principle, for the main one you need not so many programs! And with the Heating function, so as not to turn on, you can cope - this is not critical!
About porridge, thanks - I'll check, I cooked it today and somehow I didn't understand, I didn't pay attention to whether it was going into Heating or not.

Here's another, somewhere I read about touch control, that's how I understood it in this MV, so if you open the lid during cooking, then the time gets confused, and I opened it - everything is fine, as time went on and on, nothing did not go astray. During cooking, I had to pull out the bowl, MV did not turn it off, it also did not stop working, wiped the bowl and put it back on - and it worked as if nothing had happened.

Marina, you shouldn't take out the bowl while cooking. It is better to turn off the device if such a need arises.

her, this is not about touch control, not about touch buttons, but about touch programs, that is, programs in which the multicooker itself determines the cooking time, the multicooker itself calculates the cooking time depending on the amount of liquid, it works until complete evaporation, in Panas it is "Pilaf "," Buckwheat ", in other cartoons" Rice "," Express "... it is believed that when you open the lid on these programs, the microclimate in the pan gets confused, but this model does not have a single such program. So there is nothing to get lost here.
Even the "Krupa" program lasts 25 minutes after boiling. It is automatic (that is, with a preset time, which is not manually adjusted), and not sensory ... you yourself need to regulate the cereal-liquid balance, like that ..
Zima
Yes, I also think I read about Ourson that the cartoon switches itself off when you take out the pan, a kind of "fool-proof" protection, but that's another story ..

I don't even know, rinse, dry completely for several days, then try to turn it on ...

Quite right, in all modes, a specific cooking time is set, either automatically (program Groats 25 minutes, Baking 50 minutes, Heating (which is used to heat up a cold dish) 20 minutes) or manually (within a predetermined range, which differs depending on the Program) on all other programs.

The 0520 has one touch mode. The question is whether it works correctly, ask the girls from the topic about 0520 to test it.
