wheat flour 1 glass
thick curdled milk 1 glass
egg 1 PC.
baking powder 1/3 teaspoon
salt 1/4 teaspoon
sugar 1 tsp
butter (melted) 3 tbsp. spoons
vegetable oil for deep fat 1 glass
sour cream 250 gr.
sugar 2 tbsp. spoons

Cooking method

  • Mix curdled milk (room temperature) with baking powder.
  • Let stand for 3 minutes.
  • Add lightly beaten egg, salt and sugar.
  • Adding flour, knead a thick dough (should stick to a spoon).
  • Pour in melted butter and stir again.
  • Heat the oil in a soot.
  • Use a spoon to deep-fry the dough and fry the crumpets on both sides.
  • If there are molds (rings), then it is better to fry in them.
  • Beat sour cream with sugar.
  • Fry all the crumpets, put on top of each other, pour over sour cream, let stand for a while and serve.
