Alain, and potatoes do not darken overnight ???
She (potatoes) cut into slices is under water, does not darken. Now the heat will begin to its full height and the question will arise - will the frying disappear (I fry the smoked bacon a little), it also bathes in water. Or how to throw ice cubes into porridge?

TyominaAlyona, but do you need to add water to potatoes? And how many? A little more detail.
We need water! And a lot, much higher than the level of potatoes, since the entire cooking cycle of the cartoon will very actively evaporate the liquid, striving to destroy everything. What we get is such a little bit of overcooked stewed potatoes in slices. But this is exactly what my mother prepared for her husband. For myself, on the timer, I made a varant on the PLOV mode, which I like more. Cut the potatoes into large slices, put them on the bottom in one layer, add water just to cover the potatoes (so that the potatoes do not darken, you need less water without a timer), then salt and olive oil. It turns out normal, not overcooked potato pieces with a baked barrel. We must try this option in Dex on Rice / Spaghetti. I think that everything will work out for sure.

Girls, I'm embarrassed to ask. Do pasta (made from durum flour) stick together when cooking in Dex? Otherwise I am already afraid of surprises
Daffi
Girls, a double boiler from Perfezza fits perfectly with Dex, it is placed freely, the lid is closed.

Yeah, with some effort on the part of the Dex owner. Cuckoos also have a double boiler on legs.

Made potatoes on Rice / Spaghetti today. Everything is OK, but it turned out almost without heat. I didn’t get it out of the multi, and when my husband came, I caught up with the golden barrels for baking. Everything's OK!
I am reporting that today I cooked rice for salad on the express mode, in a ratio of 1: 1.8. I left it in the multi, the result was also pleased. Thanks to everyone who advised me!

Girls, I continue to pester, but what about the macaros? I don't want to disfigure products. How to cook correctly?
Lozja
TyominaAlyona, I HERE wrote her recommendations. But this is my fastidious attitude to pasta, try to cook it for the first time to the end, and suddenly you will like it even without dancing with a tambourine.

Fine! Thank you very much, you once again gave me confidence in a great result!

By the way, the pasta I wrote about there turned out to be Ukrainian, called Turelli, that's why they seemed Italian. Produced in Borispol from imported raw materials (rummaged already in the internet) by Lantmannen AKSA. I have not yet met the best pasta for multi. And the price is nice.
Here they are - 🔗 The hoods are my favorites.
TyominaAlyona
Lozja Thank you again!!!! There are definitely no Turelli supermarkets in the two closest to the house, which means that it is all the more interesting - I think there will surely be such, I remember them perfectly! , starting an interception plan.

Have a good hunting! If you have a buffet in the city, then there should be, we always have them in the buffet, and I stock up there.

I also like these macaroons: hoods and springs. We sell them in Amstor.
TyominaAlyona
That is so! There is no "Amstor" and there is no "Buffet reception" either, but there are no pastries, loved by many! Today I looked into two small shops - until I found it.
I WILL FIND how much that Kharkov is there !!!

It is necessary to look in large stores, such as "Target" (I think so).

In the Ukrainian market, where Desy is widespread, Lakuchins and Maruchi are not particularly found, which outwardly, at least, look like the local Perfez, Auroras, Orions. But these are 5-liter models with a bowl for 10 portions of rice. And in Dex - 8 servings. I can only say that the Dex bowl is not quite suitable for a 4.5-liter Panas (also for 10 servings of rice) - it does not get tight on the ten and the pressure button \. hanging a bit on the top edge. I did not dare to cook in such a "composition". The Panas bowl is a little lower than the Perfeza (Lacuchina) bowl, so it seems to me that (but I don’t presume to say, I didn’t try) the Dex bowl will not work.
Bowls from Yummi are suitable for Perfez, Lakuchin.

Lozja, I am grateful again - the pasta turned out well. Used traditionally Macfoo. But, I'm in search of my new macaroni happiness! ..
Was in the "neighboring" Great Kisheni and Silpo. And in small ones: know-name and Brusnichka. There is a target nearby, I rustle and there are shelves!

Girls, tell me how you cook pearl barley soaked overnight in dexics What is the ratio of water and cereals and what is the mode?
lesik_l
I had a bad experience with barley: I left it overnight and tried to cook on the 2nd mode on the timer. Did not work out. Still, this cereal needs more time to cook. Therefore, I advise you to leave it on the swelling timer overnight and then for two hours to extinguish. It should work out fine. And most likely, you need a ratio of 1: 3 or even: 4.

Or maybe it will be even tastier in the languishing mode to leave overnight. First, boil for 5 minutes and then for 4.30 - for simmering.
Daffi
Usually I wash the barley well and soak it for 8-12 hours, then drain the water, pour the cereal with plenty of fresh water and cook until tender. When the water boils, I salt it.
I will not soak and drain the water in the cartoon, then I want to transfer the swollen cereal to the cartoon, salt and pour in fresh water, but what mode to cook it, I don’t know. Maybe try an hour on the Quenching?
Sandiya
And today I cooked buckwheat soup. She poured everything into a cartoon at once. The vegetables are good, but the buckwheat is slightly boiled. I first brought it to a boil on the "Boil" mode, and then cooked on the "Stew" for another 30 minutes. In principle, there are no complaints, but I would like more whole buckwheat

wow ... why suffer so much?
To be honest, I just haven't cooked barley like porridge in my cartoon yet, but in my soup it usually boils down in the hour that I usually cook all the soups.
or should it be faster in soup ???

I regularly cook wheat porridge, not a chop (artek), but one that looks like barley, so I always cook like ordinary rice. Well, I pour just a little more water. that is, not 1: 1, but a little more.
Lozja

So right, why did you need Boiling at all? Why complicate your life and spoil the result. We fell asleep, turned on Stewing for 1 hour, well, maybe 10 minutes earlier, your soup will be ready, depending on the soup. Why did you need Boiling, I don’t know. We cook all the first courses on Stew, in my opinion, no one else here with soup-borscht has problems in this way.
For example, today I cooked vegetable soup with meat. I fried all the vegetables in the Fry, then I added meat, rice, potatoes, turned on the Stew for 1 hour and forgot about the soup. After 50 minutes, I filled it with spices, herbs and turned it off, closed it to brew. The soup is ready. Nothing boiled over.
Why do you need to boil it at first at high temperatures? It will boil perfectly on the Stew, if you want it faster - just pour boiling water over it, and then turn it on.
Sandiya
I don’t know why, I just learned somewhere that this is how soup is prepared, so I made it. In the next. since I’ll just cook on stewing. In the meantime, I go to the biscuit and tell me that the device was not idle
Daffi
In Boiling, only soups are cooked, which should turn into a full mashed potatoes, such as pumpkin or squash, everything is boiled into porridge there. So it's somehow not right to cook cereals there ...
Warsaw
They brought me a spare bowl from La Kuchina.
And I wanted to buy a dex!
Will it fit?
It looks less than that of Panas, written 4 p.

To be sure, it is better to go to the store where Dex is exhibited and try on a saucepan. In theory, it should come up. Better check
True, I didn't quite understand something. What kind of cartoon do you have? If Dex - then you can order your own cup for her. Although, since they have already brought Sibovarovskaya - why not use it. I only understood that you have Panasonic. Okay, you know WHAT you want.
rusja
Daffi,
I recently cook all the cereals, porridge, STEW, except for rice, it on rice / spaghetti.
I do this, if it is planned to cook barley, then soak it for 10-12 hours, then drain the water, put it in a multicooker, pour 3 cups of boiling water, salt and mustache, set the stewing mode for 2 hours. In the same way, I cook wheat-kutyu. It seems to me that it makes no sense to cook the soaked pearl barley on the stove, and then transfer it to the cartoon ... And the point, if DEKH, is great to cope with everything?
If the question of barley arises spontaneously, then I soak it for at least 2-3 hours, then pour it in boiling water, it swells for about 20 minutes, I drain the water and then follow the above recipe. At the end, I always add frying, which is with bacon and onions, or something else.
Sometimes I still keep it on the heating for 30 minutes, but not until earlier, otherwise the porridge will stick together, and it is already viscous.

rusja, do you interrupt the program or do you cook for an hour?
rusja
Both barley and yachka are boiled for more than an hour, so I usually cook for 2 hours. If I interrupt it slightly, 15-20 minutes earlier. The cereals are hard ...

rusja
Yes, this is if it is pre-soaked, and if it is a little wet, then I pour 4 glasses of water, but this is for your taste, someone loves porridge more solid, someone is viscous

Alena, I have a viscount and a Panasonic, and the bowls were brought to the Panasonic and to La Kuchina, but I want another dex! because I will give one of the old cartoons. (they practically do not differ in work, vika is even better)

All clear! Panasik is a good cartoon. And the most pleasant reviews about Viscount. And if there is also a Sybovar bowl - just wonderful !!!
And it is difficult to try on the Lacuchin bowl on Dex, too, only la Kuchina imported from Russia can meet. Or vice versa - if someone from Ukraine took Dex to Russia. Suddenly there will be happy owners
I ordered a spare wheel for Dex at the place of residence - in Kharkov 🔗 Price - 176 UAH. Of course, you can find more convenient options for you.
Good luck!

this is about Cucina Italiana? or am I confusing something?
if we are talking about her, then this is the twin of the Ukrainian aurora (and the rest of the company), which means that this bowl will not fit the dex.

We tried this one Mannik without flour and oil... Fast, simple and unexpectedly delicious.
The first time they did it as usual on baking 45 + 15, and yesterday they did it "on the machine", that is, only 45 minutes and it all stood until morning. There was no lemon on hand, so I added a couple of drops of flavor.

Hello everyone! Are you accepting a new quiet multichannel in your ranks? Available mv Dex, Polaris and Elbee on the way.

We accept! Quiet old people. Just from Temka Multicooker Elbee, I want it too! It remains to convince my husband, but I am very stubborn, that is, persistent.
Guylechka
And I'm not persistent, I'm FIRING! Every time I have a new "disease": indoor flowers, perfumes, rags, shoes, etc., until I force everything - I can not stop, now there are multivars ... When I bought Polaris, I ran home, washed it, boiled water in it and immediately laid the borschik, and in Deksika quickly made a fish with gravy. My husband came home from work, sat him down for supper, and the new MV is on the kitchen table right in front of him, I think "when will he notice?" ??? Finally, after half an hour, the eyes widened - "what's this?" Such a laugh made me out, in short, she said that this was an addition to Dex and explained - "in this borscht, in this fish" ...

Oh, well, what good fellows the Chinese are! ... There are heaps of all kinds of different things!
Only, having struggled with reading the translation, I understand very clearly that I am not ready to train such a "caste". The pressure cooker is already a mysterious animal in itself, you still need to get used to it. And for a unit that is not adapted to the European market (and therefore the interpretation of the modes is not matched to our usual cuisine), translation will not help - how and what to cook. Perhaps, I will shaman "in chorus" with the trivial Elby. At least you can ask good advice in the profile topic
