on the forum I read about the use of heat shrink tubes for kenwood450. who can say anything about this? who tried it? what tube diameter do you need?

Maybe someone has already encountered this problem: I put the loaf on the main mode, at the end it is pale and pale. It's kind of baked on the inside, but not fried on the outside. Mode for a medium roll, and a roll of 500gr. Is this the ten already covering? We have to fry the bun in the oven ...
What was different before?
Maybe try to choose a darker crust? Well, or ten, if everything was good before, but now it doesn't bake ..
And yet, does her convection turn on?

Maybe because there is no milk in the recipe. Add powdered milk to the recipe or replace the water with regular warm milk and the bun will be crispy.

Comrades, can you please tell me if it is possible to create your own program for sourdough rye bread (NOT yeast) in Kenwood 450? The fact is that I read this on another forum: "... sourdough bread no need to settle like yeast and on one leaven he brews long from 3 to 6 hours".
+ here from somewhere on the Internet: "... the leavening bread takes a long time, about 5 hours, and sometimes the whole night."
That is, I need me to fill up the flour and other ingredients, press the buttons and forget, and after many hours pulled out the already finished bread. Without any temporary shutdowns of HP, temporary holding of the test outside HP and other body movements.
How many hours can you set for the proofing? Well, in general, is it possible to create such a program, otherwise I read that Kenwooda has strong limitations for programming. Maybe you have ready-made programs (for "leavened"), please share.

You can, 5 hours of proofing is enough for cooking.

I have been baking with sourdough for several years and it never took me more than 3 hours to ferment, usually it is 2-2.5 hours, but that would be 5 hours and even a whole night ... this is too much ...
As for "fell asleep and forgot", the leaven is a living organism and it behaves differently, yesterday the proofing took 2 hours 20 minutes, and today it was 2.40, yesterday it was warmer, today it is colder, the old flour ran out, they took another batch ... anything can influence her. Therefore, the leaven requires visual inspection and experience.
Lisss's
yes, it's true, it is difficult to automate the leaven .. if it is strong, it will tear the dough into rags in 5 hours .. if it is weak, then in 5 hours it will be just sooooo sour bread ..

sourdough bread can be automated by adding literally 1-2g of yeast, such a small amount will only make the process more predictable and faster. moreover, the leaven is the same yeast, only wild, bred by you personally, and not in industrial conditions. so that 1 to 2 grams will only make the process more controlled.

but, all the same, the first one or two breads on your sourdough must be baked "personally" in order to know how long it takes for your sourdough to go through all the stages of making the bread. then you will know how to correct the process

Help!
Dear members of the forum, help out! Where to buy a bucket for the stove? The axial shaft fell out, the eye broke off and the retaining ring fell out. And this is just a year of operation, but the truth is very active.

The worst thing in the city is that there is no service center. And on order in a repair IP they only promise to bring it in 8 months! And it's not a fact that they will bring

Save! I feel like no hands without her. Homemade is already on the store bread. Cry and swear ...

Kenwood BM450 - the shaft fell out almost immediately (1.5 years ago), this did not affect the quality of bakery. The oil seal fell off yesterday. I started looking for a solution to the problem - either ordering a new oil seal or changing the bucket. And today I put everything in a bucket and baked excellent bread. Neither the shaft nor the gland affects the quality! Bake bread and don't worry about repairs
Exactly the same problem. 1 year and 2 months have passed since the purchase.
The husband said that he would take up the repair only if a spare bucket appeared, he had to look. Found it.
If the problem is still relevant for you, then the bucket can be purchased here ---> 🔗
You can even buy a round bucket there.

As far as I know, this bread machine does not have the technical ability to set / compose its own program / for 5 hours of proofing, which upsets me no less than a broken bucket.

You are mistaken!
Five hours of waking up for rye dough just exhibited in this bread maker, which is quite enough with a normal sourdough, and two intermediate kneading for 15 seconds will not spoil the rise of your dough.
You can also pull out the stirrer if desired.
Do not cook jam in HP, put dry ingredients down, and liquid on top,
turn the stirrer by hand after baking
and the bucket will last a long time.

This has already been written many times here, read the topic and everything will work out,
and life will be more fun with this convenient and fairly reliable stove!

Program for baking sourdough rye bread in Kenwood BM450 looks like this:

1. Temperature equalization - 0 minutes (0 - 60 min.).

2. Mix 1 = 5 minutes. (0 - 10 min.).

3. Mix 2 = 15 minutes. (0 - 30 min.)... We help with a spatula.

4. Rise 1 = 60 minutes (20 - 60 min.).

5. Wrinkle 1 = 15 sec.

Workout mode 1 always 15 sec. and turns on if the Ascent 2 time is selected more than 0 min.

6. Rise 2 = 2 hours (0 - 2 hours)... The rise time must be matched to the available leaven.

7.Wrinkle 2 = 15 sec. Will not turn on.

Warm-up 2 mode is always 15 sec. and turns on if the Ascent 3 time is selected more than 0 min.

8. Rise 3 = 0 minutes (0 - 2 hours)... The rise time must be matched to the existing starter culture and add here the rise time 3, if necessary, to the desired value.

9. Baking = 1 h. 30 min. (0 - 1 h. 30 min.).

10. Heating = 0 minutes (0 - 60 min.).

The stove was presented as a birthday present! Yesterday there were the first attempts to become the same professional as you all, the first attempt was "Brioche Buns", the dough seemed very sweet, it didn’t go like that, without letting it cool down, I hurried and put on the second bread according to recipe No. 1, the "Accelerated baking" program The bread rose a little completely, and slightly browned, in general I baked it in the oven, and we swallowed it within an hour! Tell me, but it is possible to bake Ciabat bread, or maybe there are similar recipes, I really like this loaf!

Good day everyone! Today I conducted new tests on the production of yummy, the result is this, after raising the dough, right before baking, the whole cap dropped, which rose so well, WHY? and of course it wasn’t baked, I bake it in the oven, I don’t know how to do it in a bread machine, I’ve already learned the instructions almost by heart. Ingredients such water 240 ml, sour cream 2 tbsp. l, garlic change 1 clove, butter 2 tbsp, sugar 1.5 tbsp, salt 1.5 tsp, flour 450 g, yeast 1.5 tsp, please tell me what is wrong?
Kapsy
I completely forgot, the program time is programmed by default, i.e. 3 hours 15 minutes, weight 1 kg, medium crust color!

Did you open the stove?

On Sunday, I ordered a new bucket through the online store, paid 560 for EMS delivery, for that today I have already baked bread in a new bucket. The store worked well, I did not expect such speeds and efficiency from them, only 4 days. It is a pity that the bucket only worked for a year and 2 months. I didn't wet it from below, I was even afraid to make jam, it's a pity .... It's good that there is a place where you can buy a replacement bucket, let's see how long the new one will live.

Hello everybody !
smoked this forum for 2 months, today I told my wife (as our little one used to say in his youth) "my patience burst" went and bought,
there was no choice between the stoves, because after reading this forum, they did not even look at the other, bought an hour ago, immediately put the bread to bake, there is not much time and I want bread because they kneaded out of the book by running the one that in 50 minutes, somewhere in my soul a worm of doubt gnaws that whether the flour was put in, whether that yeast, etc., in general, soon run to a bar to hang out with friends, we will have something.
(then we will smoke this thread in more detail with the whole family and then we will actually write)
in general, in hindsight, so to speak, take into your friendly ranks - back because thanks to you we all have chosen our stove.

Good day!
Today I became the next happy owner of this wonderful oven.
It took me a long time to choose, read, examine, study, listen, etc., but an inner voice pointed exactly to Ken.
First impressions after opening the box (before purchase I saw only in pictures and video reviews) - AWESOME PIECE !!!
Immediately there is a desire for something to BAKE!
Which I immediately did. Since this is my first miracle machine, I did not risk it, I made bread according to the first recipe from the enclosed booklet. Did 500 gr. on a medium crust. The result made me very happy, it turned out a loaf like in the picture (I can't figure out how to add pictures here, otherwise I would have shared my first successes).
In general, happy as an elephant!
Thanks to your forum for your assistance in choosing! I will continue to experiment!
nemec65
in general, I am happy with the stove as an elephant, everything as it was written on this forum, there were already some unpleasant moments (they tried to make bread with ham and cheese according to the recipe of this forum, but they did not take the cheese "mozzarela" and as a result, they ate the stove and scrubbed it off - everything was so bad and burned, already horror) but negative experience is also an experience, now we know that there is no need to shove it into the stove

Thanks to everyone who described the stove, posted a photo, this actually influenced our choice.the bugs described here (for someone there the light did not turn on in some modes, the instruction is not Russian) we have everything as it should and the instruction is in Russian and the light turns on when we want.

Hello, welcome me to your ranks. The stove was bought on March 7, and I saw the forum just now. From the day of purchase of hp, we eat only homemade bread.
The problem was at first only with rye bread, I could not find a program for it, and now I make a batch of rye with sourdough on program 10, after the signal
I turn off the stove and wait for it to increase 2-3 times and for baking program 14 for 1 hour 30 minutes. Sometimes it takes 2 hours after the signal, and sometimes three,
but the result is excellent, even if it happens to overstay and the top sags a little or does not reach the top and the top rises and cracks.
Love.
I baked rye bread on the recommendation of Vanya 28, this is what happened, maybe my sourdough is rather weak, or maybe there wasn’t enough time for proofing, next time I’ll try to pull out the stirrer immediately after kneading, but in general the bread turned out delicious and I didn’t have to spin circles around xn, pawned food and forgot for almost five hours. Vanya 28 thanks a lot for the advice.

Hello everyone! I am also in your company
So I put the first bread in my new beauty and it really puzzled me. Kneading the dough on program 1 for 20 minutes already. I sit and think: "When will she stop already ???" And most importantly, there is no description of the program in the instructions. How much on which program kneads, lifts, crushes, etc. Maybe there is where to look?

Fuuuuh! Has ceased to knead. How much is the first batch? 32 minutes?
And I would very much ask for a fresh link to a book with recipes, if anyone has one. I will be very grateful.

Didn't you have a recipe book in your kit? I have two books, one was included, the second was a colorful gift, both on the last pages contain a table of the average operating time for all programs. Mixing in almost all programs for about 30 minutes, 3 minutes. first and 20-30 min. second. You can set the time shorter in your favorite program. 🔗

Yes, I am not confused by a long batch, the main thing is a tasty result, it is sooo tasty. It's just that in those HPs that I had such long mixes there were no and I already thought that this was some kind of program failure. LG kneads for 7_8 minutes, Binaton about 12_13 minutes.
In short, the khebushek turned out super.

I bought such a bread maker 2 weeks ago, it seems to bake normally, but when kneading, and especially when baking, there is a strong smell similar to burnt plastic. At first I thought that it would only be at first, that dust, debris or something like that might burn out inside, but 2 weeks have passed, and the smell does not disappear. Tell me please, did everyone have this at first, or maybe something is wrong with me in it?

The first time during baking there was a smell, but not a strong one, and any heating device smells when it was first turned on, although there was no particular smell of plastic,
like there is almost no plastic in the stove. I hope everything will disappear soon. My oven burned, I even had to call the service, the advice was simply to open the windows, turn on the hood and wait until it burns, it is better, of course, to consult with experts.

Gentlemen, another cry for help!

The Kenwood 450 fascinated me. After reading the available information on the forum, I made the following conclusions:

- the quality of baking at Kenwood and Panasonic is about the same, good;
- Kenwood problems - mainly with a bucket (BUT, neat operation, service centers and so on have not been canceled yet, but all equipment breaks down periodically);
- Between the noise of Kenwood and the appearance, Panasonic chose a joy for the eyes, because in the apartment where this miracle is supposed to be settled, there is good sound insulation between the rooms.

More than 100 pages of forum and conversations about little Kenny almost tipped the weight of my thoughts in his direction. There is only one BUT - on the Internet, I came across chilling reviews about the exploding Kenwoods, namely 450 models. However, these complaints were too stylistically similar, which suggests nothing more than competitive stuffing (posts were written most likely by one person).
And yet the seed of doubt has already sprouted. And HP is supposed to be presented to the most dear people - parents, therefore the issue of safety is extremely important.

Therefore, the question is - please, unsubscribe here if you or your friends had a case of breaking glass, explosions, self-immolations and other inappropriate actions on the part of KP.

Inhuman thanks in advance!

Pi Xi. If someone has any comments on the above thoughts, then I will only be glad, because 3 days of diligent study of the forums still cannot be compared with the experience of direct communication with the unit.

With regard to glass, this is possible, but it cannot be accepted unambiguously.
Which pens exploited it, scratched and beat it - that's another question.
With careful operation, this is not noticed.
Yes, and there are very few screams to the total sales volume, and they also cause doubts - with scatter throughout the kitchen. Foil is glued to the glass and apparently it flew away together, which only increases doubts.
Love.
I continue to operate my stove and over these 10 months there are no comments, only positive emotions, I already wrote that we don’t buy bread with the purchase of a bread machine, at first I baked two loaves a day, now less often, but it doesn’t stand idle. In conversations with acquaintances who have stoves from other firms, although small claims were expressed, I only admire the Kenwood stove. Some plastic particles crumbled from the bottom of the bucket, but this did not affect work in any way, it does not flow, although just in case, I began to use a round bucket to knead the dough without baking to extend the service life of a rectangular one. But this is also only after reading on the forum that the bucket can flow. The bread turns out to be evenly fried, it has never been half-baked, I use only one favorite program, I programmed it for rye bread, I use the rest of the factory ones and don't bother, the result is always excellent. So do not hesitate, I even heard complaints about Panasonic, so I bought this stove and did not regret it. And I don’t know about the noise, I didn’t hear the others, but the noise doesn’t bother me even when I’m in the kitchen, 20-30 minutes. you can sing, but when you hear the smell of bread and the noise do not remember.
tanya123
I don't bake so often, but once a week for sure, and so far I have no complaints about chickpeas ..
I make dough for dumplings or muffins only in it, I am completely satisfied with my choice!
And about bad reviews, I can only say one thing, they will always be !!!
After all, how many people have so many opinions!
Anastasia
Good day everyone!
joined the ranks of bakers. yesterday we tried the simplest recipe from the book - # 1. The bread turned out to be delicious, soft, only the top is flat ... well, let's get used to the recipe.
I remember my grandmother baked bread in aluminum molds in a conventional oven, she got it like in a rural bakery ...
The general impressions are good - there were no superfluous smells, it was not so noisy and it is pleasant that at any moment you can turn on the backlight and see what is being done there.
Alas, I will share my unhappy experience, the process of buying itself did not bring pleasure - they took a video to M. Vosstaniya. rudeness, unwillingness to open the box and show the product - like at home, see what you bring wrong. In the end, they ran and changed the lid - the first was a scratched and metal part with dents and bubbles. We chose the most normal of three lids. Well, these are all such trifles, I just want it to be beautiful and weird.

The bread maker is the first in our house. before, all culinary delights were done in the oven.

I calculated the cost of a half-gram loaf - it turned out to be about 16 rubles, along with energy costs. so the stove itself I think will pay off pretty soon.

I read reviews of members of the forum. And I want to add one thing. for breakdowns. Probably it doesn't depend on anything. It just happens sometimes that even the most reliable technique breaks down ... that's all. For example - an electrolux washing machine at home. How they put themselves - the most reliable technique! And after two years of operation, when all the guarantees had already expired a hundred times, the most expensive part in it died - the main board. They said a manufacturing defect. So that's it. While the Scarlett mixer has been serving faithfully for nearly 10 years, and is going to serve clearly the same)))

Delicious baking everyone! I will be glad if I come up with something tasty, share the recipes!

Hello!
They gave me such a stove. I tried to bake twice: the bread did not rise ((the first time I thought it was old yeast (in a bag), I bought new French ones, and now I don’t know what to think ...)

I use the usual "premium wheat flour".

The only thing is that there are no electronic scales yet, but I used electronic ones for weighing (they also show up to 50 grams there).
What to do? I tried program # 1 both times.

The bread did not rise simply: even the kneading knife half remained sticking out ((

What am I doing wrong? Tell me .... so insulting ..... I put all the ingredients in full sequence with the recipe. And she measured it as well.

For a long time there was Panasonic, with him never had such problems ...

I really look forward to your advice and recommendations. Thank you!
Love.
It’s even strange that the bread didn’t rise at all. In any case, if normal yeast should rise, even if there is a lot of flour or water. I have been using electronic scales from the first baking, the Saf-moment yeast is fast-acting (red packaging) and there have never been any problems. The amount of flour and water can be viewed and added during kneading, the lid can be opened and if the dough is liquid, add flour or vice versa water if it is thick. Most often I bake on program 5 "French", only if the loaf is less than a kilogram, I put less yeast than in the recipe, one and a half tsp. goes for a kilogram bun, for 750 g 1 tsp. otherwise, when baking, the top of the bread may turn out to be flat, but the bread will still turn out to be airy, aromatic and tasty. Try it, do not be discouraged and everything will work out.
lulululu
Thank you very much for answering. I will try again. Until I bought an electronic scale, you cannot help me: how much flour will there be in a measuring glass, if I need, for example, 350 grams (for 500 grams of regular bread)? Thank you so much!

Is it non-human veterinary? I have had this bread maker for over two years now. Probably, I was one of the first owners of it. Until it exploded, did not burst, and did not self-burn. She doesn't look like a shahidka either. But I have already changed the bucket, although I do not bake every day.

Thank you so much! Already it seems to me that she put very little flour ... But today I bought a scale (not electronic, though, it seemed to me very expensive: 1600 rubles !, and ordinary kitchen ones are small).

We wish, we wish!
In Ikea, electronic scales are 700 rubles, but oh well now. And measuring spoons in the same place.
In the end, everyone bakes the bread here.
And the stoves after repair work the same as they will, and there is a guarantee for that, so that it can be used!
And I completely forgot, but did you forget to buy a cap with a white apron?

Today my attempt # 3 was successful!)) Urrra !!!! The bread turned out to be noble! What I just dreamed of: like my favorite chabatta!

In order not to risk it, I made a 500 g loaf. Delight! Now (but not right away, but after a few more trials) I will make a chabatta with olives! I will save almost 100 rubles! (how much it costs).

The only thing, the bread turned out to be with a flat cap, but I understood (I read it on the forum here) that it could be from an excess of yeast? Although, I put as it was written 1 teaspoon (measured).
By the way, Vanya28, thanks for the idea about Ikea: I will buy it all the same, electronic ones there later.

Hey everyone!
Tomorrow it will be two weeks since we bought HP Ken 450 ... while we are satisfied, of course not a lot noisy, but tolerable .. Getting to know this HP did not start very well ... We bought it in the MEDIAMARKT store, which is in ASHANCITY on Leningradka. I even had to write a complaint against an employee of the service center, I am a peaceful woman, but it turns out there is no limit to the power. This employee said that he would turn it on for us and check if we have flour with us !!! It's cool, I actually never leave the house without flour, but this time, as luck would have it ... By yourself !!! they took it out, examined it and it was very good that they did it, because they immediately discovered a defect - on the back of the bucket, instead of four grooves (or pins, I don't know how to call it correctly) there were only three !!!!
White bread turns out wonderful .. yesterday I baked rye ... it didn't work out, I took the recipe from the recipe book that was in the kit. The result is a thick rye crust. From the forum I realized that I needed to choose a baking program on my own, in short rye bread is the bread of the future for me and I hope that everything will be ok.
Girls and boys, who are still in search, I can recommend this HP model, after all, already a baker with two weeks of experience.
I don't want to buy store bread at all ...

I have been using the bread maker for 2 years already. Sometimes my window fogs up, too, as long as it did not affect the cooking process. More often, perspiration on the rise of the dough, and not during the baking itself.
In general, I love her very much, only the dispenser is sometimes annoying, I have to correlate the child's sleep with the loading of the bread machine.

My window fogs up when I pour too warm liquid. But to fog up the control panel? This is definitely some kind of marriage.
