A couple of years ago, the highest row in this table was class A, which was assigned to washing machines with an energy consumption of less than 0.19 kWh / kg. But in 2002, the leading European manufacturers of household appliances agreed to introduce a higher grade A +, thereby "raising the bar" and setting a new incentive for improving washing machines. And that is to say, you will not surprise anyone with class A today, this line has already been taken by many models of cars.Note that the energy label shows the energy consumption (kWh) and the load of laundry (kg), and in the table, according to which the classes of energy consumption are determined, the value of kWh / kg, that is, the energy consumption per kilogram of the laundry loaded into the machine. Moving from one value to another is very simple - we divide the number in line 5 of the sticker by the number in line 9. After doing this simple exercise, it is easy to make sure that this Hansa washing machine consumes 0.19 kWh per kilogram of load, and therefore, according to table 1 , its energy consumption corresponds to class A.

The spin efficiency class is also determined by direct measurements. Table 2 shows the dependence of the spin efficiency class of the laundry on the spin efficiency index, which is defined as the weight of water remaining in the fabric after spinning to the weight of the dry fabric. Everything is clear here: we weigh the laundry after spinning, then dry it completely and weigh it again. Subtract the weight of dry laundry from the weight of the damp laundry - we get the weight of the water remaining in the laundry after spinning. Now we divide the weight of water by the weight of dry laundry - we get the spin efficiency. In general, a task for an elementary school.
