marina-asti, as an option is possible, but difficult to implement. In Moscow, we only know how to navigate the metro, I'm afraid my husband will refuse to go by car. And you need to know where to go, where the price is the most delicious. And it so happens that we will not find anything. But thanks anyway

MamsHow often should the refrigerator be defrosted (not the freezer)? Do the droplets freeze on the back wall? And I don't know how to explain, my mother had a stick in Stinol, to clean the hole on the bottom wall of the refrigerator, where the droplets dripped from the wall. Is it also here or is it already the last century?
Anchic
Tatyana, I really have an Atlas drip. But I have never defrosted the refrigerator for 10 years! These pieces of ice melt and drain on their own, then evaporate. I never cleaned the hole either, and I don't even remember that there was any stick.
Sofiya31
Anna, this is absolutely great. And then wash, I wash, but defrost. As I remember my childhood, how my mother defrosted the refrigerator for half a day, and then washed
Irina F
Oh, I love Liebher too)
I have a large refrigerator with zero-2 large drawers, they help out great! I really like to store meat in it, the vegetables are great!
The only thing I swear at him for is chrome!
And a separate Liebherr without a freezer was bought for cheeses, dairy products.
But now the question arose of buying a chest, there is not enough space in the freezers (by the way, I have a large Samsung column). Recently, there was nowhere to shove a poultry, even crying.
I did miracles of styling), I don't want it anymore!
So, chest to help)

So, chest to help)

I wonder how you are with a big family, life in a house and a bird without a chest yet ??)))
There are two of us in total, I hardly cook, I almost never have meat in the freezer (it's easier for me to buy fresh on the way home), and then I have 3 boxes in the refrigerator + 4 in a free-standing freezer, and that's chock full! I look so modestly towards the chest of liters for 300-400)))) I really have nowhere to put it
Irina F
marina-asti, Marish, that's why I suddenly wanted to buy a chest! For some reason it never occurred to me before (I'm a fool, yes)
Now I have in stock: Liebcher healthy with a freezer, a freezer column, a refrigerator without a freezer.
All the freezer parts are clogged, especially considering that a couple of weeks ago I needed to stack 28 chicken carcasses. Well, the truth is I gave out a little, to please the relatives)))

Like any other refrigerator - I wash mine once a year. It does not need to be defrosted. The back wall cries, then dries up. Droplets are extremely rare, and that is my fault, when a warm saucepan is close to the wall. There is no stick, but there is a hole for the drain - yes, there is. Maybe it needs to be cleaned, but there is no such information in the instructions. When I wash it, I wipe it, sometimes I stick it in with a thin brush, but this is for self-assurance rather.

Before Liebcher, I had Combustion (two-chamber, freezer on top), also drip. I lived for 16 years. He washed for two hours (this is together with the loading and unloading of products). You turn it off, take out the food from the freezer. While you empty the refrigerator, the freezer is ready to wash. There was no ice, a little frost on the walls. Thawed for 15 minutes. I wiped the water, washed the walls, my refrigerator. During this time, the freezer dries up. I cleaned the refrigerator .. everything ..you can include. I don’t know how stinol works, but normal drip systems are far from the same as they used to be in refrigerators.

Marina 28 chicken carcasses caught my imagination

Mams, everything means this refrigerator is my dream

Girls, the question of buying a freezer is ripe. I want something big, vertical, with high-quality freezing and ... not very expensive. Who will share their experience?

Svetka, just a month ago they took Indesit SFR167 for $ 250. e. 167 cm. height, 3 years warranty, like this Freezer selectionso far I'm happy
Zhanik
and we took Atlant 74-02 a week ago. 176 cm tall. 7 boxes. I studied for a long time ... I chose capacity / price / reviews. Cost 17100 r
V-tina
Zhanik, we were also going to take an atlant, but indesite came out more profitable for the money

And what about the noise level? and how much will fit in such a volume?
And which is more practical - a chest or a camera?

This issue has been discussed more than once in this topic, look through it, then make a decision yourself. The arguments are different.

Gee, Light, the most practical is what your living space allows you. And in terms of volume, take the largest one you can afford.

Thank you, I read the first few pages, it was not there. I won't master all 30, but I will try)

And what should you pay attention to when buying? (I don't often buy refrigerators because))

That's for sure, I agree 100%. More, not less. That summer I also bought a 7-shelf Atlant freezer, I don't remember the model, it's good, a lot of things fit. It also cost about 17 thousand
sweetka
Comrades, in this model I am excited by the class of energy consumption and volume. But somehow I haven’t come across this brand. what do you think?

We have it in the hallway, you can't hear it in the rooms, and so .. well, not silent, let's say, there is a lot of space, but what will fit .. well, 15 kg of pork in one compartment did not even take half of the volume. In general, I wanted a chest, but I didn’t fit in the one that I wanted, and I don’t see a smaller point in taking
sweetka

ooooooooo, if you consider that my husband is a vegetarian, and I am a meat-eater on big holidays, then putting any green stuff in these volumes, a vegetable-fruit - this is just what I need. I really suffer without fresh cucumbers in winter)
Lika_n
sweetka, remember that appetite comes with eating ..))), I mean .. that more! - the only correct answer))
I have 50 liters in the refrigerator .. it seems that was enough .. a year has passed .... I bought an Atlant for 270 liters .. now I think .. maybe I can buy a second one))), I have all the fruits and herbs in the Atlant, a little meat - one department was allocated, the largest.
I do not close compotes .. I freeze all the fruits, then in winter compotes, fruit drinks.
But already when it is closer to winter and the place decreases, thoughts come .......... to buy a second one and this is my freezer for 2 or 3 years.
sweetka
Quote: Lika_n

Do you have 270 total or useful? because with such a total 240 remains useful. I was going to take within these limits. I don't roll up - neither compotes, nor jam. Mom gives a little, we have enough (I don't eat that). But to freeze all kinds of greens is a dream of an idiot) I also see Atlanta on sale, but what stops me I can't understand.
V-tina
Quote: sweetka

there is more bucket in each department for sure The only thing that confused me about it was the energy saving class, but upon further comparison it turned out that there is a difference of 20-30 kW per year in total
natalia27
sweetka, Sveta, I tell everyone that I will write in my will not to buy a small freezer. When I bought it four years ago, I was guided by the fact that there is a good freezer in the fridge, there are only two of us (my son lives in another city), but the main argument in favor of a small camera was the lack of space. But how wrong I was. Now every time I suffer that there is absolutely not enough space and I am going to buy a very large freezer. I practically do not freeze meat, since in our city there is always an opportunity to buy fresh. I freeze fruits, berries, salad peppers for stuffing and for various needs, greens, I used to freeze zucchini, eggplants. It comes to the point that before the new year I roll up compotes in order to make room for meat products for the new year and the arrival of my son. Every year I solemnly promise myself that I will reduce the amount of frozen fruits, but then everything starts again from the beginning. Today I have already put some strawberries on freezing - I opened the season.
My advice is that the freezer should be larger and it is even better to take Nou Frost, this makes care easier. And also the presence of drawers. Have a good choice.
sweetka
Well, 240 liters of usable volume - is that okay? Well this is considered big?
natalia27
Sveta, I do not really understand in liters, but it seems to me that this is normal. Now I looked, the one that I would like to buy, then it is 270 liters and 2 m high, in which case you can freeze yourself. But I probably already suffer from gigantism. By the way, Atlantes say they respond well to voltage drops, which we have a place to be.
Igrig
Quote: natalia27
it is better to take Nou Frost, it makes it easier to leave.
Care may be easier ... But keep in mind that due to the no-frost, the useful volume is quite significantly reduced - for the movement of air, unoccupied spaces between the shelves are needed, etc. Therefore, you should not put food tightly to the eyeballs! We have a Liebherr freezer. Honestly, they probably haven't thawed it for a year and a half, there is practically no ice. In addition, Liebcher does not have freezing tubes between the shelves; freezing is due to the cooling of the rear wall. Therefore, space is saved for the shelves themselves and it is much more convenient to pull out the shelves - after all, there is always a desire to cram more of everything, and when freezing it changes shape and often clings to these coil tubes. And in Liebcher there are just plain glass partitions.
sweetka
Liebherrs are biting in price, although I liked the characteristics Pts. But I am still considering a more economical option. I repeat the question: has anyone come across Gorenie? How is the brand in operation?
natalia27
Sveta, so I looked after myself, back in the fall in Foxtrot, which on Ushakov they were in the action, but while I thought the action was over and I never bought, which now I regret. They bought both a freezer and a refrigerator of this company from my neighbors two years ago, they are very happy. I feel that I’ll talk to you now, freak out, and go to the Foxtrot to buy (if they are still available), if it weren’t for the heat now, I probably would have already gone. ...

Friends, which one do you think is better?

knob
Light, I have Beko, but smaller. In summer it will be 2 years old. The first year I spent the winter on the balcony, I regretted the second year. Dragged into the bedroom. Mom doesn't hear. And when I go to her - I hear. It makes less noise than Atlant in the kitchen. Zanussi must be good.Look whose assembly - I wouldn't take ours. I've heard good reviews about Gorenje. Buy the one to which the soul lies. That will be the best.
Svetta
Sveta, I would take Zanussi. He does not know frost, energy saving class. A ++.

So it seems like they say that there is less trouble with the know-frost. But the energy saving class is good. And I liked Gorenie for the same. But in terms of useful volume and price, Beko breaks records.

Sveta, well, it's a hassle to defrost and wash the hall once a year without the know-how of frost! You wash your usual x-k and do not fool, so you open it a hundred times a day. And you won't even open the freezer every day, what is there to wash? Just take it easy and don't worry, you have already decided for yourself and are waiting for confirmation from us.
Olgushechka81
For me, the Atlant freezer, I already wrote above. After 6 months, I decided to defrost it prophylactically while it was cold, and so it thawed for me in an hour. Considering that at the beginning of operation, someone from the family accidentally touched the outlet and it was turned off, after which it froze a little. So there are no problems with washing.
natalia27
Yes, of course, defrosting once a year is not a big problem, but now having a regular freezer in the refrigerator and No Frost in the freezer, I can say that defrosting is heaven and earth. In the first case, this is fiddling with melt water, and plus the whole day it thaws everything, and in the second case, he turned it off, washed the boxes, rubbed it inside, and everything is free. This is of course my opinion, there are pros and cons here and there. I was originally an opponent of Know Frost and would not have taken him for the refrigerator, but in the freezer I felt the difference. But Svetin's advice on what you need to take, what your heart is in - it works a hundred percent.
Gingi
When I was choosing a freezer for myself, I was looking for various information on this topic and somehow wandered into the forum of refrigerator repairmen. So they said that refrigerators and freezers with know frost must be defrosted, but people do not, and then for some reason they are not happy that repairs are expensive.
Svetta
Quote: natalia27

Natasha, I don’t know, I usually defrost the refrigerator 1-2 times a year and this is not a whole day, it’s just a couple of hours. Well, yes, to remove water, but it is completely uncritical. In any case, this does not bother me at all, because all this is done about the way. For the record, I have lived with the hol-com know frost for 8 years, he still works for my dad. And my husband and I have an ordinary x-k, so there is something to compare, no special I don't see any convenience.
natalia27
Svetta, I do not argue with anyone, I just wrote my opinion. After all, everyone has their own vision of the issue.
sweetka
I wish I could listen to some other refrigeration master ... I had one about microwaves, I told a lot of interesting facts. But there are no refrigerators and freezers.
Then they said that in Beko the humidity is high and, they say, everything will grow moldy. Has anyone heard anything on this topic?
Bijou
In the freezer? High humidity ?? What is it like?
All the "humidity" that comes in with the room air when you open it or with food still turns into ice after a couple of hours. The classic on the walls, the noufrost on the evaporator inside the case. In winter, when the snow is minus twenty, is it very humid outside?
knob
Wait a minute, how and where to mold? Now I will not run home and look where and what has become moldy. But it seems to me that someone was arguing such a blizzard that he then hesitated. The freezer is like a freezer. It suits me, only very small - 4 drawers and 2 compartments with a door
sweetka
Reporting! We took Liebherr German second-hand, in excellent condition for 7 boxes, know frost for 7500 UAH.That's about a little less than $ 300. I think the purchase was a success)
Zhanik
Svetlana, congratulations on your purchase and ending the agony of choice)

Regarding defrosting, not know-frost.
Somehow I had to defrost the refrigerator in a very short time. She pulled out the drawers and directed the heat gun towards the open freezer (without fanaticism in temperature, of course)... Everything was ready in half an hour. The products did not even have time to recover). You can also use a hairdryer. Especially if quick defrosting is relevant in the heat.
Irgata
Natalia, Zhanik, for such quick defrosts I use an electric heater of the Veterok type
