moreover, the crust is ruddy only at the bottom and along the sides - there is no shade on top, so it does not turn brown ...
Why not? Also in the lid

Today I baked a cake on kefir, 60 + 20, but it turned out wet, after the end of baking, immediately open the lid or hold it on the heat? I opened it immediately. What's wrong?

Girls, please help me find a recipe for a cupcake, I read somewhere on our website that a cupcake is baked with 1 tbsp. l. soda, it is still mixed with kefir and costs half an hour. So I want to try to bake and I can't find it, thanks in advance
Pingvinus
melrin, this is not a cupcake, but a "Black Prince" cake, I just, because of my own laziness, baked it like a cupcake, that is, I didn't smear it or decorate it with anything. The muffin turns out to be very tasty and fragrant. Try it.
Here's a cupcake recipe:
1 egg
1 cup of sugar
1 glass of kefir
1 glass of jam
2 cups of flour
1 tbsp. l. soda
And here is a link to the original cake recipe:

I want to try baking a cake in a slow cooker, my oven has become a problem. I used to bake in it on a large baking sheet, the cake turned out to be large, rectangular.

The order is as follows: dough, poppy filling and cottage cheese filling in layers. The cake is baked separately. Then the cake is still going. I doubt it, the slow cooker is only 3 days old, will it bake? so that the products do not translate, that is, so that my cake does not fall apart when laying out from the saucepan. How to find out the cake is baked at the bottom, it will be difficult to guess under the filling. Can someone tell me if it's worth baking like this?
aniko
For good access, you can use the white "steaming basket". Very comfortably. But I think that if the dough layer is not very thick, then it will be baked. In the mulch, the bottom is baked well, it is more problematic to make a fried top. But it seems to me that you can check with a match, because, as I understood, the filling (cottage cheese and poppy seeds) does not need to be cooked for a long time and it will not be wet, and if it is closely damp, then you will see it on the match.
Freesia
Tell me how to use the basket in this case?

I think for a start you can try to bake something simple - a biscuit, a casserole or something else.
to understand how it is generally baked goods in the cartoon. and then you will understand for yourself whether it is convenient for you to bake in a cartoon or not, and you will decide according to YOUR recipe.

Take out a bowl of pastries, put a basket inside

We bake in a multicooker
and turn it over, raise the bowl, and the pastries are on the basket.
Try it, first without baking, to figure it out. And the main thing is not to forget that the bowl can be hot. There were precedents
Freesia
Already baked a pie, it turned out, but there the dough - just pour it, with fruit. And then there are layers of filling. I'll try, I'll conduct an experiment.

aniko only my basket is not very comfortable on legs, without walls, but the principle is clear.
SupercoW, aniko Thank you!

Good luck!

Comrade Luysia asked me to leave my message in this thread.
I baked Cabbage Pies from Scarecrow, but because of laziness I decided to make them in cartoon. Here's what came of it:We bake in a multicookerWe bake in a multicookerWe bake in a multicookerWe bake in a multicookerWe bake in a multicooker
The dough was kneaded by HP.I stuffed the formed pies into a cartoon saucepan, slightly greased with rust. oil. And put it in the MV for proofing. There they I had 40-60 min. I will not say for sure, since I did a lot of things. During this time, the heating was switched on twice for several minutes. When the pies doubled in size, I greased them with an egg and set them to bake for 50 minutes. After that, she turned them over with a double boiler and set them for another 20 minutes for baking. All the pie is ready.

shl. Lyus, here's a balm for you - the Panasonic multicooker bakes exclusively, I can't say anything here. Without jambs

Right now, Chucha was the first to see everything! I looked in pies with cabbage. And I think this is the smartest way. When baking in a multicolored pie (dough top and bottom), the entire filling will sprinkle during slicing. And here is the pie and the filling inside, not on the floor.

Is it possible to bake a simple gingerbread in a cartoon?
Something like a thick pita bread or something.
So that there is less oil and fat.
There is a recipe - throw it.

I come to the conclusion that only in the whole wide world in the multicooker I have not baked goods, but some kind of garbage ...
Antonovka
Scarecrow,
And biscuits too? I seem to have nothing, but they are the ones. Cupcake "It can't be cheaper" - baked in it 2 times and both times the nonsense came out The girlfriend does not have cottage cheese casseroles in the cartoon at all So you are not alone

No, here's a biscuit - the only thing that came out of there efficient baking. Casseroles - soles. And I don't even try bread. What for? If 2 HP and an oven are available.
Antonovka
Scarecrow,
I totally agree with you about bread
Sonadora
And now I just make cottage cheese casseroles in a cartoon, they turn out great.
I also want to try to make Pie with curd filling from Stеrn, I baked in the oven many times, but here I don't even know if it will work out, the base is from shortcrust pastry.
Gasha
Marish, you don't need to worry about the basis of the shortcrust pastry !!! The cartoon does an excellent job with this !!!
Sonadora
Gasha,
So, we will bake! The main thing is that it does not fall apart later when I turn it over on a double boiler.
Or can you put strips of baking paper cross on a cross in a multicooker, so that you can then use them to remove?
Gasha
Uh-huh !!! Criss-cross strips remarkably pull out cho he likes ...

I want to say that after I got a multicooker, I bake almost everything in it. Any pie, cake, cupcake. I’m already so irritated that if I bake in the oven, it almost always burns with me.
pina
Hello everyone! I was also recently presented with a multicooker, now I am learning to cook on it, the ARS company. It states that it can work as a bread maker, and since I still have a bread maker in my dreams, I want to try to bake bread in it, but I don’t know how long it takes to bake it, I started the dough at 0.50 water. I understand that you probably all have bread machines and you probably don’t bother about this, but can anyone have tried it?
SupercoW
pina, how is your bread?
in fact, you need to look at what is written in the recipe and correct it along the way. the fact that one cycle of the baking program will have to go through is for sure. it will be possible at the end to slightly open the lid and check, if anything, add more time.
pina
SupercoW
The bread turned out to be very heavy, and I had to run 2 cycles for 65 minutes and, plus, turned it over for 20 minutes so that the top was baked. It feels like it’s wet and not baked, maybe it’s not worth it in a slow cooker, I don’t even know (((After all, according to the same recipe in the oven, it was excellent.

if there is a stove somewhere, then of course not worth it in the cartoon. my oven is not very good - it's easier for me in the cartoon.
I have never baked bread, but I usually bake sweet pastries for two cycles. always.

Thank you! I'll try your recipe tomorrow. Do you have a pressure cooker cartoon or not? I'm thinking of leaving the valve open or does it need to be baked under pressure? Maybe due to the fact that the valve was closed, so the bread turned out like that? I will try your recipe and will definitely unsubscribe.

SupercoW
The oven, that is, but it works so you need to adapt, and in order to bake something you need to pull out so much of everything))) but you want it once and immediately started baking)))

stop, you got that multicooker-pressure cooker?
baking in pressure cookers will not work at all !!!
dancer
No, I have a pressureless multicooker (Brand 37502). The bread was baked with a closed valve. Kneading the dough in a bread machine, then the "dough" mode in a multicooker and baking for 1 hour. The only caveat is not the ruddy top. But in general, the loaf itself was baked, ate in one day.
We bake in a multicooker
pina
Yes, I have it as a multicooker-pressure cooker, but the job is declared as bread makers on the packaging, and the instructions themselves do not describe how to bake bread, but only sweet pies, for example, gingerbreads, etc.
pina
Well, that's me again. Hello! I still tortured my cartoon about baking bread.
Thank you very much for the recipe dancer , only instead of 2 tbsp. l. I put 2 tsp of sugar, because the first time the bread did not come out at all and was very sweet and heavy.
I pre-activated yeast in a small amount of water (this water then entered those 350 ml) and sugar. I also replaced some of the water with kefir, i.e. 250 ml. water and 100 ml of kefir, but you can not do this - it will not get worse. And then I was recommended to put it immediately into the bowl from the multi, put it on for 1 minute of any mode, and when the cartoon goes into heating, the dough will fit in this way. But I do not advise you to do this: the cartoon raises the temperature too high and the dough just sticks without rising. It is better to put the dough in any other bowl, crushing it 2 times in 1-1.5 hours and only then you need to place it in the bowl (not made of stainless steel !!!). I turned on the cartoon literally for 10 seconds, then I took out the bowl, waited until there was just a warm surface, and then put the bowl with the dough there and closed it. The dough fit very quickly and well. Although you can not bother, put in a warm place We bake in a multicooker
Then I closed the lid as expected, but in no case close the valve! Otherwise, pressure will form and the dough will simply press to the bottom! I put on baking mode for 60 minutes. Then she pulled out the bread from the bowl and put it back in the bowl, turning it over so that the top was browned, closed and set for 10 minutes. after the time has elapsed, she immediately took it out and covered it with a towel so that the bread "reached". Upset only one thing, the dough still sank twice, because it rose just above the dividing line on the bowl, and the loaf came out 2 times less. We bake in a multicooker We bake in a multicooker
Here is a cutaway roll - We bake in a multicooker We bake in a multicooker

But at the same time, the bread is not tight, it did not affect its taste. Very tasty!
So the conclusion is that you can adapt, but only for extreme necessity, when, for example, there is no oven, and if there is one, then the bread would come out much better there.
Thanks everyone for the help!

please tell me which is better. my mom wants a bread maker for a long time. so I'm thinking of giving her such a gift at DR. but then she also recognized such a device as a multicooker. that is, in principle, a much more functional device, and you can also bake bread.
I have no idea about either of the other. that is, I have a general idea: I know which bread makers and multicooker are better (I still work in a household store), but since I have never used either one, I cannot objectively judge. it seems that the multicooker is better, it will be more functional, and you can bake not only .. But on the other hand .. as I understand it, it will not knead the dough itself, unlike a bread machine? and I'm not sure the same good, delicious pastries are obtained there as in a bread maker. and in general, can you cook any pastries there (in a slow cooker). for example all those breads that can be baked in a bread maker she can also make ??
please help who already has experience with these devices, I will be very grateful!

I have both a bread maker and a slow cooker, and I need both of them. If mom wants a bread maker just because of bread, then this is one thing. But if she wants to cook both the first and second, and a cake, a biscuit or a charlotte, then this is only a slow cooker, in which, by the way, you can also bake bread. But a slow cooker still cannot replace a bread maker. And if mom wants a bread maker, then buy a bread maker!
