I made half a portion of the dough. Baked on biscuits (RAMB-171).

The heat was extremely spontaneous, so I had to "improvise". I don't hold dry milk - I replaced it with 1 tsp. usual, deciding not to cycle on replacing the "dry" component with the "wet" one, and then look at the dough and add flour, if that. There was no liquid lemon zest either, but there was cognac, and I used it. I also added a little vanilla. I used honey instead of molasses. I did not extinguish the soda and did not use it, I took a baking powder, forgetting to reduce its amount by half, and for baking in the MP, I would try to slightly reduce the amount of flour next time.

It turned out 500 g of dough. Exactly 2 tabs = 32 pcs. Half a panel - 125 g of dough (it would be better 150 g. It is necessary to recalculate the recipe so that the dough turns out to be 600 g - for 2 full bookmarks).

2. (On the gluing - photo on the right). For those who are not prone to rugs / rolling pins. Divide a portion of the dough into 8 equal parts, roll the sausages, put in a heated MP. Laying horizontally or vertically - it doesn't matter, I just showed both options. Baking time - 8 '(I got distracted, I got 9' or more tanned cookies).

As you can see, with the same amount of dough in the version with "sausages", the dough did not creep to a square. Although I not only snapped the MP, but also tried to push it properly. But the dough is quite dense, I didn't have enough strength. Therefore, the cookies were thicker, the pattern was printed more clearly.

From the recommendations of the author of the recipe - you need to roll the dough through the film. I didn't, so the dough cracked, these cracks in the finished cookie did not disappear.
Another important observation of the author. You need to bake a lot, because after lying down (the author talks about two weeks), the cookies become more tender (more here).
The theme has options with cocoa, nuts, chocolate, pudding.
I am not commenting on the taste yet, because I bit off a tiny piece of something still warm, I was convinced that yes, it is the most sugar, and that's it. Two weeks, of course, will not last for me, but tomorrow morning it will still be.
