Lenk, and Lenk, and I soaked the chickpeas.
I remember that he must get wet for a long time, so I quickly drowned him in sea water, and only then came here to remember the details. Smart, huh?
And then I got sick: other smart people write that it increases in volume when soaking and cooking almost 5 times, and I already have a dry almost full pan
Shaw to do?
If I nevertheless cook this FSE in some bucket, it will be possible to freeze it already boiled, and then, over the next 3 years, eat it up day after day?
And is it better to freeze it in the form of a semi-finished product, or make it completely (with fried onions and other perversions), and then freeze it?
Anna1957
Olga VBhow much did you soak it? I cook maximum 2 glasses of dry in Shteba. And yes, it can be perfectly frozen after boiling.

Ol, boldly cook the whole nohat, then take as much as you need, and calmly freeze the rest. After thawing, it is exactly the same as freshly cooked. Throw a bunch of pilaf, a bunch of shurpa, and hell and just eat (I always steal after defrost, and quietly burst.).

Ol, I also prefer to just freeze boiled, I agree with Lena, you never know where you want to use it later! It's never too late to combine with a freshly fried onion!

Sissyayus ask: do you also cook other cereals and legumes at once for 1 kg? It looks like you got excited
Olga VB
Well, not by a kilogram, but a lot, because my husband needs to take a side dish to work, I also have a snack during the day, and it's not hotzza to cook every day. So I'm doing it for a week.
By the way, if we have vegetables for a side dish, then I really cook more kg
Rada-dms
I recently took it out of the freezer too, I lay vacuumized for six months! I poked my head around, and I have all the cereals at the dacha, and I need a side dish. I posted it with an onion, so I also cook a lot.

I am reporting.
It turned out not very well, because the chickpea lay for a long time, apparently, it was well dried.
I soaked it for 7 hours, but it should have been at least 12
Cooked for 3 hours, but it should be at least 5, like jellied meat. In general, it turned out to be hard. Apparently undercooked, undercooked. Therefore, it increased in volume by only about 2.5 times or even less. And almost all the whole peas remained, did not burst.
Tasty anyway! The husband has already reported that he liked it.
And last time, I remember, it was much tastier for me when everything was well boiled. But it's not bad now.
So next time I will take into account my mistakes.

Now I'm driving to KsyuMelka for meringue or biscuit on chickpea broth. I'll try not to mess up there at least

Lena, well, and I bungled him!
True, I couldn't really decide which of the three options to do ... I soaked it for a while, boiled it a little, and then fried it a little, ... delicious
And yes, there is no onion!
