Konstantin, I did not see this in the instructions. And on the site I did not find anything on this topic. I don't think so.

Hello everyone!
Who cares about the flea market for sale a Bosch MUM XL40G food processor
Tiramisu
Good evening, dear bakers
We got ourselves such a combine. I asked what nozzles were in the kit. The seller had a dicing attachment. I bought it. The other day I tested the nozzle, I did not understand how to fix it. It cuts perfectly, but at the same time you need to hold it tightly with your hands so that it does not rotate with the engine. I was afraid to use force until I read it in the net. Now I read this topic and I understand that I seem to have hit (((It looks like they sold me a cube cutter not for my model. I have MUZ5CC1. I think, maybe it can somehow be adapted? Can someone show me a photo of their own, which fits the MUM XL? I'm interested in a photo of the attachment point. One ledge interferes with it. I think, if you cut it down, you can snap it? insulting!
Anchic
Tiramisu, yes, you bought the wrong attachment. Mumiku fits MUZ8CC2. It gets up normally, you do not need to hold anything while working. Only the pusher.

Mumiku fits MUZ8CC2
I already understood (((I will try to sell.
So I sit and choose what else to buy. I can't understand, the MUZ8FW1 meat grinder comes without circles with holes? Or do MUZ 8LS2 mugs come with a different hole diameter? Something I'm completely confused. Each bunch separately: adapter + meat grinder + mugs + sausage attachments + nut grinder ... wow. I naively thought that everything (except the mill) was included in the meat grinder attachment. I'm generally silent about the cube cutter. Who would have thought that they are different for each Bosch model? In my sad experience, I already see that most of the sellers are not aware of this.
I bought this unit because I dreamed of Kenwood, but the mummy was advertised in the store for me as a machine that is in no way inferior in power and functions, but supposedly cheaper attachments go to it than to Kenwood. Now I understand that they are not cheaper. As I began to calculate what else is needed, it turns out not a single combine. Apparently, the sellers compared the cost of the attachments not from this model. I am very disappointed. You could easily take the 5th mum. Reassure me that I am wrong.
Anchic
Tiramisu, well, if we compare it with Kenwood, then as I understand it, the mum is still cheaper (when comparing similar machines). The attachments, apparently, cost about the same, but I did not compare. I love my mumik dearly - what kind of dough he kneads! I won't tell you about the meat grinder right away - I have an old separate one still plowing. But if he suddenly orders me to live long, I’ll buy a meat grinder for the mumik.
Anchic
Tiramisu, now, for the sake of interest, I climbed to look at the prices of kenwoods - the machines themselves and nozzles for them. The sellers did not deceive you. I really look at the office. store in the Russian Federation, but I think the situation is generally the same for us and for you. A comparable car from the Kenwoods costs at least 75 thousand rubles. (in the configuration like the 20XL of the boy, the only one he has one more K-attachment) against 35 thousand rubles. 40XL included. Cube cutter for Bosch 6900r, for Kenwood 9000r. And in December, in the second half, I took a cube cutter for 5225r, this is just now the price has jumped. Don't worry - you bought a good car, it's worth the money!

Thank you! I have already slept with the thought and calmed down. In addition, there are already those who are interested in my attachment on the mom's forum. I bought it at a very good price. I think it will sell.
We just recently moved to a new house and I marked this case with my purchase. For several years, in anticipation of the move, I used an old meat grinder that was already living out its last days. The mixer also turned only squirrels. She was waiting for her finest hour and longed for a super-duper harvester. And as I began to choose, my eyes fled. She was already making biscuit rolls, muffins and Olivier on her new dress. It's just fun to cook (if you don't take into account the moment with the cube cutter)! Just throw in the food and have fun.

Something these cube cutters are somehow unhappy)))

Can't buy the MUZ 8 PS 1 French Fries Slicer

They say it is out of production. I don't understand how this can be, the model is relatively new ...
I wonder how this disc differs for other modifications of the combine? Can't fit for example such a MUZ 45 disc?
Tricia
I’ll sit in the bushes, study Temka, have been planning to buy a kneader for a long time ...
Rituslya
We bought such a Mumik for a gift. They spent a long time choosing between Ken and Mumik, but for the price Mumik won!
Oh, and our birthday girl is happy! He says that you can just see the best only in another life.
How can I try it hotzza! : girl_in_dreams: Eh, who would only know ...
Barmamam
PinkPanther, I have a Bosch 84, before that I had a Bosch 44 for many years, I gave it to my son, who began to live separately. And I kept the additional favorite discs that I bought separately for potato pancakes, Korean carrots and French fries, they are great for my grater. disks for a meat grinder are different, but all graters are the same.
To be honest, my old Boshik caused me much more joy. I do not feel the difference in power, either in the mixer or in the meat grinder. Much larger bowl volume, more convenient citrus juicer - and all the differences in my opinion. If Bosch 44 was perfect for me to clean in the closet, then 84 is stationary. It is beautiful, silver, but takes up a lot of space. The inconvenience of a large bowl is that 1-2 proteins and a small amount of dough are not beaten well. We have to put something in every time.
And the quality was much better - German assembly, and now everything is China. So they say in the service.
In short, girls, in my opinion, the old Bosch brands are more successful than the new ones, it is not for nothing that they now continue to produce Mum 44, etc., A 84 86 has been taken out of production.

I've been planning to buy a kneader for a long time ...
Copes 100% with any dough, even for noodles.
Barmamam, thank you very much for the information! Isn't it difficult for you to measure the diameter of a grater for the 44th?
And how does the 44th do as a kneader?
Stavr
TriciaAs a dough mixer, probably the best for me for the money. Of course, who can be more expensive and you can buy kenwood for 80 thousand. This is completely satisfactory, and in all operations.
Barmamam
PinkPanther, the diameter of all my grater discs is the same 16.4 cm. And I did not notice the difference in the kneading of the Mum 84 and 44 dough, everything works out great. But I have been lazy for a long time and I knead almost all the dough in a baker.
Anchic
Tricia, Anastasia, I am to Stavr I join. I certainly didn’t knead the dough in Kenwood. But I saw the videos - Bosch is no worse. I am very pleased with the quality of the dough. I made a ciabatta - it turned out to be a very good, silky dough.

Rituslya, but you do have a wonderful Innokenty?

Quote: Barmamam

Or maybe adjust the whisk? I just copes with two proteins with a bang.

Quote: Barmamam
it is not for nothing that they now continue to produce Mum 44, etc., and 84 86 were discontinued.

They did not take them off, but renamed them - Mum XL.
Stavr
Anchic, for a long time (or rather, since October) I have been kneading in Boshik, and black and white are different, biscuit, 2 squirrels are exactly beaten, the breads are just super, what is leavened with yeast, and muffins?, beat butter with sugar until white with a bang ... I don’t know how to whom, but I don’t know where the little Bosch is. (Although the family is not big, but the neighbors are asking.) I make bread for at least 600 g of flour, I don’t know how the little Bosch copes with such a dough. The output is more than a kilo. I was thinking about cash, in the subway we were at a discount at that time for 27t. R. but still took Boshik for 31t. R.
Annutka

I have 48 Bosch and 20XL. Yes, 48 perfectly beats eggs, pancake dough, pancakes, muffins. For these types (dough), both power and volume are enough, but yeast, shortbread and even more dumplings, I do not trust my Boshik, he very much strains it and heats up quickly (although I read that girls knead it).
For these reasons, I bought myself a Bosch XL. Of course, it takes up more space, but it is also designed for kneading a lot more products. Assembly Slovenia, not China and 48, bought 12 years ago, and XL.
zombokatya
Today I was surprised to find that there are still attachments for my big mom, and I did not know about them - this is a set of grinders that fits the MUM4, MUM5 and MUMXL series.

3 in 1 nozzle (MUZ45XCG1) - 2 knives (one for chopping hard foods, such as coffee beans, cereals, sugar, nuts, spices, candied fruits, flakes, etc.; the second knife for soft foods, such as vegetables, fruits, meat, herbs, etc.) etc.) and a glass container with a lid (in which you can grind and store).
5 in 1 nozzle (MUZ45XTM1) - Same as 3-in-1 plus glass with ToGo lid for use away from home. Includes 3 chopping and storage containers with sealed lids instead of one. That is, in fact, it is a chopper, coffee grinder and mini-blender in one glassbottle.

I decided not to be greedy and ordered the "5 in 1" option. While I'm waiting for delivery, maybe the owners of these attachments will tell you something about them, please.
PinkPanther
zombokatya, and where does the knowledge that they fit on XL? Fit exactly?

Yeah, I myself found on the net a photo of the box for one of the nozzles, where it is shown that fits. Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

But we do not have them for sale)) Only abroad)
zombokatya
PinkPanther, I usually check compatibility on the offsite or Boshevsky online store. It seems to me that we did not have them either, only now they have appeared - you look, and you will have them.
Tiramisu
And here I was at a loss in choosing a shredder. the main purpose is nuts and chocolate. But that's the way that came to mind. Multifunctionality is appreciated. And now for several days I can not decide: Grater BOSCH MUZ45RV1
MUZ45RV1 or BOSCH mixer MUZ8MM1. Colleagues, what do you think is more convenient to grind and what is more needed in the household?
PinkPanther
Tiramisu, the MUZ45RV1 grater is one, it is attached only to the meat grinder. Plus, does it fit XL? The MUZ8MM1 mixer is certainly more functional, it has 3 graters, it is also a chopper. Mounts directly to combine shaft, precisely tailored for XL.
zombokatya
Tiramisu, for myself, I chose this option: the universal cutting MUZ8DS1 + the MUZ8RV1 nozzle. But their hands do not reach to check the latter, in Greece there is a poor harvest of walnuts. Here it also depends on the volume - for the sake of 2 nuts it is unreasonable to uncover a meat grinder, but for an "industrial" scale - it is the most.

PinkPanther, but I understand correctly that you have a MUZ8MM1 multi-mixer - do you by any chance know if discs from universal cutting are suitable for it?
PinkPanther
zombokatya, I know for sure that grating discs from a shredder (universal cutting) do not fit a multi-mixer, although I do not have one. Pay attention to the holes in the middle of the discs for attaching them. They are completely different. And, I suspect that the diameter of the discs is different. Unfortunately, the forum rules do not allow me to insert pictures from the Internet for clarity.
Tiramisu
Girls, tell me, exactly MUZ45 fits our meat grinder? And then I left an order in the online store, and they made me doubt that they are for 4-5 mumiks. To be more precise:
Bosch Pastry Nozzle MUZ 45 SV 1
Disc set Bosch MUZ 45 LS 1 - 1.00 pcs.
and another Disc grater Bosch MUZ 45 KP 1
I don't have a meat grinder yet, and I'm afraid that while it appears, then the discs will then go to the set to the bored cube cutter. As a result, it will be easier to buy Mum 5.

And we have a poor harvest of an abundance of baits. I liked your 5 in 1 (MUZ45XTM1) very much. But we don't have it anywhere. I found it and much more on the German Amazon, but delivery from Germany is expensive.
zombokatya
Tiramisu, 8-series combines (MUM8, MUMXL, MaxxiMUM) are suitable for accessories starting with MUZ8. The fact that MUZ45XTM1 fits into the 8 series of mums is an exception, not a rule. What series of combine do you have?

A quick googling showed that your 5-in-1 attachment costs UAH 2640.

I have MUM86. There is a multi-mixer and a shredder. I confirm the above.
zombokatya
Babushka, share, what are you using a multimixer for? Or maybe I need him too, but I don't know about it yet.
Babushka
Katerina, I make liver pate in it, grind the health mixture (dried apricots, prunes, lemon, raisins, nuts, orange). I make chopped dough, breadcrumbs, curd mass. If you shred something a little. Although, shredding more on shredders Moulinex or Philips.
zombokatya
Tatyana, Thank you. I became firmly convinced that shredding and cutting 5 in 1 would be enough for me.
zombokatya
Tiramisu, I scrabbled along the bottom of the barrel and looked for a bag of walnuts. And then to the cake it was necessary to make some chocolate chips. Everything went towards uncovering the meat grinder and testing the MUZ8RV1 nozzle.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)
I did not have any instructions for the nozzle itself, but the instructions for the meat grinder contain descriptions of all the nozzles and how to use them.
This attachment grinds nuts, chilled chocolate, crackers, etc. Speed 1-3 (I did it at 3). Since the plate is shallow, I screwed on the meat grinder, and the protective casing did not save. At the same time, the floor was washed. Here's what happened.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

Chocolate is next. There was no desire to wash the floor again, instead of a plate - a small bowl. Disgusting stopped immediately. The instructions say that chocolate should not be sweet (I don't know why), I had a mix of bitter and milk. What a beauty.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

For six months, I changed my opinion about the meat grinder for the better. If initially she was wary and with some apprehension, almost disappointment (I had a problem with the adapter and meat grinder attachment - there was a strong backlash and it swayed from side to side, like a drunk), now everything is ok. The photo doesn't show how I make a mixture with it "goodbye Health ": rolled dried apricots, raisins, lemons with peels. And processing meat into minced meat has already become commonplace.

The MUZ8RV1 nozzle as a whole performs its function, and since it was purchased for very ridiculous money (around 300 rubles), it even makes me happy. Plastic casing - almost useless for chocolate and nuts (if only as an additional motivation for cleaning). This nozzle does not have universality. And in my opinion, this is more of a whim than a necessity. But about the MUZ45XTM1 attachment, I can say - this is a thing, no THING! Really cool and useful thing.

zombokatya
Long-awaited nozzle MUZ45XTM1 was delivered yesterday and tested today.
The box was marked MUM4, MUM5, MUMX. But if you look closely at the combine, MaxxiMUM is shown there. The set contains 2 instructions - separately for MUM4, separately for MUM5 \ MUMX. There are also a dozen recipes. Bosch's nozzle assembly scheme always fascinates me.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

Includes 3 glass cups (approx. 250 ml) with lids, 1 large plastic (approx. 500 ml) with ToGo lid, 2 knives with protective grills, blender attachment. A large glass is essentially a mini blender bowl - that's exactly one cocktail drink. If you close it with a ToGo lid and turn it over, it does not spill, and if you shake it hard, it starts to leak.
All goods, including knives, are dishwasher safe.

Before buying, I could not find out how the knives differ - they are very similar in appearance. After buying, I realized that they are so similar that bosch has provided funny markings so as not to confuse them.
A knife for grinding spices, grains, sugar and coffee - has a metal coating under the knife, and on the rear - black sealing ring. Knife for mixing and chopping soft vegetables, herbs, meat and everything else - gray plastic cover under the knife and red sealant. You can't tell gray from silver from a cursory glance, that's why the house now has a "black" and "red" knife. A separate page of instructions - what and how much in which glass at what speed in how many seconds you can grind / cut. The orange thing in the photo is a protective goat, which is convenient to grasp when inserting or removing a knife - no chance of cutting yourself.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

I must say that "I am, of course, an engineer with my mother" and not only with kitchen appliances "on you", but with some large attachments of this combine there were problems - somewhere I did not read the instructions, somewhere they did not finish it. I wrote about the meat grinder above. This attachment is no exception.

At first glance, the assembly diagram is simple:
1. ingredients per glass,
2. a basket with a knife in the mount,
3.the basket is down,
4.screw the mount onto the glass,
5. turn over and attach to the combine.
...
6. Profit!

In a glass were the ingredients for the chicken puree soup, everything was easily planted and screwed on. And this design does not fit on the combine - it does not stand up at all. At that moment I almost turned gray, worried thoughts that this attachment does not fit my MUM. Feverish reading of the instructions: everything is done correctly, the red retainer must be fixed - no more, no less. How to fix it is not said (with his finger he easily deflected to the desired position, only the finger was very disturbing when landing on the combine). The disgusting fixator did not give in, the brain convolutions moved, the future soup smelled deliciously.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

Hunger, after all, is the engine of thought: you need a flat cover with big tighten it with an effort until it clicks (the first 5 times we did it together - one holds the glass, the other twists the lid with both hands). If only someone wrote about this in the instructions, a saint would be a man. But the inscription became clear, "by the way, to make the cover easier to remove / put on, lubricate the thread with water or oil." Pretty "by the way". By the way, water does not help. A little "developed" and now one person can handle it.
Lunchtime.

And then Ostap suffered. Everything that was at hand was ground - cinnamon, chocolate, garlic, vegetables, herbs. Meli Emelya is your week.
Cinnamon... Black nozzle. In 15 seconds, 6 sticks turned into powder. Lumps are loose powder. The coarseness of the grinding depends on the time.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

Chocolate... 2 small tiles - I wanted to see the grinding of small volumes. This is where I was mistaken: the chocolate is warm, not from the refrigerator. The milled granules adhered easily to each other. Although the experiment is not entirely fair, it can be compared with the results of the MUZ8RV1 attachment to the meat grinder.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

Greens... 2 switching on for 3 seconds and a bunch of parsley turns ... into the same as a bunch of dill. Why are 2 inclusions needed - at the first, the lower half of the beam is crushed, the upper one is stuck. When turned off, the harvester does this "vzhuu, vzhzhzh", after which everything stuck to it falls down.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

I won't even show the garlic and vegetables - it's already clear that I chopped it.

To say that I am glad is to say nothing.
1.3 jars in a set means that when cutting different products, you can change containers only by rinsing the knife. No need to wash the entire structure. Well, you can store it in jars.
2. Speed - I put on and take off the lid longer than I pray and grind.
3. A blender for exactly one cocktail - for those who like to make it and use it right there, from which you can also drink it - it is extremely convenient to wash glasses less. I would buy such a second additionally.
4. Hand Care - These orange basket lids are really cool. Probably, now all choppers have such protection - but personally I have not come across. I fell in love with them
5. I will not wash the knives in the dishwasher (fear and feel sorry for them), but I will definitely do the rest.
6. Versatility - grinds, cuts, grinds, mashed. For small volumes - just a godsend.

I did not notice any shortcomings or shortcomings, except for the 100% tightness of the ToGo-lid, and of a small but very important point not described in the instructions.
This evening passed in such pleasant chores. Introducing the participants: MUMXL40G and his new friend MUZ45XTM1.

Katerina, many thanks for the detailed report! I thought - maybe I need it too
PinkPanther
Cool set, it turns out, replaces many nozzles! Is a large glass a substitute for a large mixer?
zombokatya
PinkPanther, God knows. I defined it as a blender, and the instructions indicate that you can grind meat, cheese and other soft things in it. It turns out that this is still a small version of the mixer only without discs. Somehow I'll try to chop the meat in it, we'll see what happens.

If I had a multi-mixer, I would compare, but now I see no reason to buy it.
PinkPanther
I probably put it wrong)) I meant a big blender
zombokatya
Compared to a large blender, this is its little brother.
A native glass blender with a capacity of 1.75 - there are no special restrictions on grinding something.
This plastic is about half a liter - there is a restriction on the temperature of the ingredients (should not exceed 60 degrees). Everything else, even ice, is possible.

Who lives in a neighboring state, tell me:

PinkPanther
zombokatyadoesn't seem like an adequate price. Now only MUM XL40 costs more than 20 thousand. If we are talking about fortieth. I don't see meat grinders on sale anywhere, but, I remember, its price was also rather big ... Well, and so on.

I also chased a meat grinder at an adequate price. I ordered a lot of things. In three stores. Now I'm waiting. Everything is on order and you have to wait about 10 days. I'm glad I could help.

With prices all year round we have a mess going on. I paid for my MUZ45XTM1 on January 22nd, for example, I will take prices and rates for this date:
For example, a nozzle in the German computeruniverse costs 83.90 €, in the German office bosch 109.90 €, in the Russian office bosch 79.10 € (7,200 rubles). I bought in an online store with delivery for 55.30 € (5,200 rubles) - how can this be explained? For myself, I made the following conclusion: as long as someone sells cheaper than it is on the market, you need to buy. And I can think why he does this later.
