Dear owners of XL, I'm new here, I wanted to ask advice.
is it possible to connect a meat grinder from the 5th series of mums to this machine with some kind of adapter?
otherwise a friend gives it to her unnecessarily, I'm thinking I can connect, or I'll have to buy ...
Stavr
alena2004, No you can not

Good day! I have purchased all MaxxiMUM attachments. Including MUZ8FV1 juicing press for the MUZ8FW1 meat grinder. With great difficulty, I adapted the press to the meat grinder, or rather put the press on the meat grinder, and then took it off. Maybe someone has such a press? Do you have such problems? By the way, the juice squeezed from red currants never turned into jelly.
Good day! So far, I'm only studying information about mums, I still understand very little about different attachments ... but I saw a full review on YouTube.
Your phrase about red currant jelly did not let me pass by.
The fact is that just the other day I read one recipe, I will not give a link, suddenly the moderators will ban it, and I will give the exact name. So, there the girls discussed "jam-jelly" from different berries and fruits, but especially listed fruits that gel well due to the pectin in the seeds and skin. Red and black currants are the best gelatinous.
If you read the recipe carefully, then you will understand your attachment. Apparently it does not gel due to the lack of seeds and peel. You may have to somehow cook the cake and then add it to the squeezed juice ... in general, read the recipe and then you will understand what the problem is. It's called: Silt-Swedish Jam for All Berries, just type it in a search engine, you will come to the culinary forum.

Good evening! Dear owners of Bosch machines, can someone help me navigate. I can’t decide on the choice of the combine. choose between MUM XL40G and MUM XX40G. What is the difference between them, it is not possible to see them live, we have these cars only on order. Intuitively and from the photo I like the ХХ40G more, but I did not find any reviews on it at all and I don’t know how to choose attachments for it in comparison with the XL40G. What would you advise to opt for?
Anna_03
Good evening Alena! I read the whole topic with great pleasure, a lot of useful things, but everything is very individual (children are allergic, vegetarian, or just a healthy diet with freshly squeezed juice every morning).
Personally, I am not yet the owner of MUM, but after watching European videos on YouTube, I understood exactly what extra. I would like to have nozzles)))).
I do not give a link to the videos, here the moderators are simply not adequate. Banned without warning and immediately. You can find them yourself, they are like Greek, there is a great demo video with the marking of each individual nozzle.
I have a separate meat grinder, electric Moulinex, which is more than 15 years old. The meat grinder is a beast, and most importantly, very compact, stands in a small box. Perfectly chops meat with 2 discs, large for manti and small for dumplings, cutlets, although I sometimes buy ready-made minced meat. Based on this, I definitely do not need a meat grinder attachment.
In the continuation of this point, I definitely will not make sausages, kupaty of my own production, I definitely will not buy guts for sausages.
Further. It is very difficult for me to roll out the dough, but I certainly will not make my own pasta, horns, noodles, etc., however, it is not possible to buy a device ONLY for rolling out dough separately for these MUM !!! If you buy, then the whole set - rolling, horns, pasta, noodles, etc.
I decided that I would purchase a separate table roll for the dough separately, and from another trusted manufacturer.Personally, I only need a nozzle for rolling dough into a thin layer for dumplings, dumplings, mantas.
Perhaps these 2 points were especially important for me, I realized that I didn't need these attachments at all.
There is also a nozzle - a juicer, separation from the cake and small bones. I don't need one either. Everything is individual here.
The saddest thing is that somewhere in the first pages the girls wrote that the dicing attachment can be ordered only in Europe.
Girls! Write at least in a personal, where in Europe and on which website you can order a nozzle with cubes ??? Thank you in advance!!!
I don’t buy MUM yet, because I’m waiting for the start of sales in Russia of nozzle cubes, or at least have an idea of which of the latest MUM this nozzle is suitable for ???))))))) For MUM XL40G or MUM XX40G? You can buy even tomorrow, but I really want to be sure that a nozzle with cubes will fit my new combine)))) But which of the latest models ???
Alyona! Everything is very individual. For example, I am not particularly fond of baking, pies, yeast dough for pies, I don’t bake my own bread. However, I do pancakes, dumplings, dumplings, as well as pies from jellied and liquid dough on kefir. Therefore, I like the kneading attachments.
Recently, I got carried away with conservation (without fanaticism and production volumes), so I also need all the shredders. You can quickly chop a lot of vegetables, including cabbage for borsch, pie and a small jar of pickled cabbage.
You can also immediately chop it for frying for the first and immediately for the second soup, which will be cooked in 2 days. I do not freeze vegetables for frying in kilograms and in advance, but for the sake of 1 carrot, beets to collect, and then wash the whole combine, I also don’t want to.
So, Alena, everything is very individual and depends on the size of the family and your attitude to the preparation of delicious and homemade food.
I am not a supporter of preparing a dinner in 20 minutes, everything takes much longer, very tasty, and in large quantities for me, although the family consists of only 3 adults.
Alenuchka11
Anna, thanks for the information, I'm already in the mood for a purchase, but I can't understand the difference between XL40G and XX40G They have no difference in the number of attachments, but then what is the difference between them?
Anchic
Girls, sorry, it's harder to dial from the phone. I have a mum 20th. I bought a cube attachment for my birthday before the new year. I took it to the office. Bosch website in Russia. XL20 and XL40 differ only in equipment. XX40 hasn't looked yet. I'll try to have a look a little later.
Anchic
Looked at the description of MUMXX40g at the office. site. As I understand it, they added a separate button for whipping cream. That is, when you press it, a certain program is executed (whipping speed and time) so that the cream is whipped well. I did not see any more differences in the description. Photo at the office. site is missing, so it's hard to say anything.

Well, I want to say again that the MUZ8CC2 dicing attachment has been on sale for a long time. Suitable for MUM8 and MUMXL.

Anna, hello! Thank you very much for your answer, and especially for what you wrote - FIT. I would like to hear the exact answer that the dice attachment is suitable for MUMXL. Thanks again))))
Anchic
Anna_03, you are welcome. I have been using this attachment since December. I have MUMXL20. In the picture at the office. the site has a photo of the box, where it is written for which models it is suitable.
Anna_03
I went to the office. site, it was necessary to do it right away, there would be fewer questions. I looked at all the nozzles, including cubes.
I also found videos on MUMXL40G and XX40G.
The XX40G added a touch panel with 3 buttons for small quantities of products.
Girls cook on European rollers, but these touch buttons are not used so often, I would say that they do not use them at all. Is that when beating 1 egg with a cup of milk ...
Personally, I have not yet understood whether it is really necessary? It's not even a question, but thinking aloud)))
Wrote for those who are interested in the difference between XL40G and XX40G
Stavr
Anna_03, the new model is simply with a sensor that determines the type of product quantity. It has been in Europe for a long time, but who needs it, let him decide himself In ours and so, an egg or 2 can be beaten

I have one last question for you to finish with this cube attachment.
Have you ordered a pusher for these cubes separately? It is not shown on the box. Do you think there is a need for it?
The fact is that I have such a handicraft for different cubes and an apple, my cubes get stuck and I stopped using it.
Thank you!
Anchic
Anna_03, if I understood correctly, the pusher is included. That is, a little thing with which you can then clear this knife from the stuck cubes. This pusher is for two knife sizes at once. One to the side, the other, as it were, in a working position. With a slight movement of the hand, they change places for ease of use. This pusher is not shown on the box, but in the photo, where the nozzle is assembled and next to it is the second knife for dice and the pusher. The nozzle allows you to get cubes 9 * 9 * 9mm and 13 * 13 * 9mm (conventional cubes). The first size, in my opinion, is ideal for salads. The second one is suitable for cutting potatoes into soup, but I don’t drive the nozzle for these purposes - wash it lazily, because little potatoes need to be cut.
Anna_03
Thanks again for such a detailed answer)))

MUZ8NV1 (dough rolling, lasagne sheets - dough thickness adjustable, width 14 cm)

And I completely agree with PinkPanther that individually each item can be bought cheaper and possibly more functional and suitable for specific needs.
Well, here's all the dreams in the bud.
I thought for a long time about buying a dough rolling machine with a motor. Now somehow there is no extra 12-15 thousand for such a pleasure, but there is a manual rolling machine. And she categorically does not suit me. And buying a rolling machine for the combine (if I ever have one, of course) would help out great.
Quote: merrycook
The attachments for rolling and slicing dough with small and large noodles are very good, but for some reason it seems to me (this also applies to the meat grinder) that with frequent use the motor can deteriorate. It feels like.
And why, if not a secret? Well, it's a shame if so.

I’m not sure what I want is more relevant - an Italian rolling machine or this Bosch is only a couple of times more expensive.))
The rest of the nozzles are not particularly relevant, except perhaps a squeezer, so you will have to buy a meat grinder with an adapter for it ... And I already have an excellent meat grinder. ((Two. I even have "cubes".
merrycook
good day
I meant that the harvester has to be turned off after each rolling, until you remove the rolled one, take a new piece. And it seems that it spoils the mechanism. Or you don't turn it off and the machine works constantly for a long time, which is not good for the motor. and, in addition, it turned out that with my volume of noodle dough, the rolled out dough has time to dry out, while I unroll everything and start cutting the noodles with another attachment. It starts to break and the noodles go bad. It is more convenient to use a manual noodle cutter: roll it out, cut it and dry it. But, if you do not do much, then these problems are not. But, if I don't do a lot, it's easier for me to work manually again)).
Bijou
merrycook, Thank you!
How thin does she roll? Can you see a newspaper straight through the dough? And then I have a quirk - I want to be able to subtly, but with a manual one I was absolutely unlucky.

Girls tell me please which one is better to take a Mum combine, I only need a kneader and a power of at least 1200, additional attachments are not needed, since there is already a Bosch multi-island combine
Stavr
Tanyush @ ka, The minimum configuration is BOSCH MUMXL20C or 10C, but it seems to be nonexistent. power1600
Tanyush @ ka
Stavr, Konstantin is very expensive for him, for that kind of money you can take Kenwood.
Anchic
Tatyana, well then, take Kenwood if it's better for you. In my opinion, you cannot buy Kenwood of similar configuration and power for this money.
Stavr
Anchic, Is it for sure that both the power is from 1200 and kenwood? 40-70t. R
Rituslya
Tanyush @ ka, Tanechka, I already, in my opinion, wrote repeatedly that we gave some Mum (I don’t remember, it was a long time ago). Our giver is still humming and rejoicing, but I’ll argue. If the last Mooms are very good, then my Mumchik 4 series is not bad either. He turned out to be such a smart guy!
Take a look at Mooms 5 series with a minimum set. Will not disappoint. Boshiki are good.
Very good! I regret that I somehow did not recognize all its charms earlier.
Anchic
Rita, Duc in the 5th series, the power is like 900W, but it is required from 1200. There remains only the maximum that. They are great mixers and kneaders. I myself have been enjoying his work for almost a year now.

Added Wednesday 10 Aug 2016 10:12 PM

TatyanaBosch has little choice overall compared to Kenwood. There are three series in total: MaxxiMum, 5th and 4th. In the 4th series the power is 600W, in the 5th - 900W, in MaxxiMum - 1600W. Therefore, if you need from 1200W and a choice among Bosches, then only the maximum remains. The price is about 33-35t. R. The equipment is at a minimum. Or choose among the Kenwoods.

Anya, I can imagine! I'll be alive, so I'll buy myself such a smart girl too! Very good! I watched him at work, so sheer pleasure.
But a little underpowered Boshiki can do a lot too. They have great potential.
For me, the 5 series is also very, very, very likely good, since my 4 does not give up and does not concede with its power of only 500 watts.
As they say, the spool is small, but expensive!

Tanyush @ ka
Girls, I also like the Bosch technique, I have a Bosch combine, power 1000, and a Bosch blender, too, now I want another kneader, I often make ham, sausages, dough for dumplings, so I thought about a new assistant in the kitchen, I want to buy a powerful and nevertheless, a proven dough mixer, as they say, for more than one year, so I carefully choose it, it's still not small money, even though Bosch, even Kenwood
Anchic
Tatyana, in terms of power, the choice is not great. It is necessary to compare Kenwood (I will not tell you anything about them, since I was not interested in details, today I glanced at the prices / power / configuration) and Bosch Maxximum. Bosch has nothing more to watch. The 5th series will still be less powerful. And the bowl seems to be smaller. If you have questions about MaxxiMum, I will try to answer. I took the 20th for myself, because the 10s were not already on sale last fall. They differ only in the package. The maximum is at the 40th. The minimum is now at the 20th (a dough hook, a gorgeous whisk for beating and a mixing attachment, with a rubber band around the edge, just wonderfully recently kneaded her curd casserole).
Tanyush @ ka
Anchic, Anna just many people write that when kneading the dough, the harvester vibrates very much and you can say it works with tension, so I wondered which is better
Anchic
Tatyana, I kneaded dumplings once - I don't remember that somehow he strained me with his behavior. I will knead the bread today. I'll try to shoot it on my phone. Vibrates - I would say it does not vibrate at all. The head moves very slightly, but this is normal.
Anchic
Tatyana, in the Kenwood thread, the link was given to Kenwood 060 at a tempting price:

Like here, according to reviews, I met that the store is normal. But this particular case - I do not know in honor of what the discounts are.
Stavr
AnchicHere, that's suspicious

Konstantin, I bought my 020 in that store. Brand new! At that time, the price in that store was one of the lowest. And they brought it right on the day of order. I really liked the store.

So doubts are taking me on this score
arin2012
The other day I also became the proud owner of Bosch XL40. Thank you zombokatya, for a detailed description of the additional grinding attachment, I also bought it and only thanks to your description I was able to install it, it is very difficult to close. Now I'm wondering if I need a dicing attachment.Girls, tell me, does she cut boiled meat or boiled sausage (for okroshka, for example)?

arin2012, although I have MUM 5, I have a cube attachment. I haven’t tried meat - neither raw nor boiled, but sausage, including homemade ham (I have a Tescoma ham), he cuts with a bang. In the 5th, only a small grate is attached to the cube: for salads, okroshka the same; and now, before the blanks, I also bought myself a large grate
Anchic
Irina, congratulations on your purchase! Let it serve for a long time! In winter I cut Olivier, in summer okroshka, and also raw vegetables for stews (I cut potatoes, eggplants and peppers). Everything is cut perfectly. I haven't tried boiled meat, the sausage is cut perfectly. I cut at minimum speed and cut the entire volume in a couple of minutes. Wash longer
Bijou
And my cube salads were rejected. ((
Anchic
Lena, and why? Irregular cubes? And I really like the cube cutter.
Bijou
But ask ... ((It was said that "Previously, your Olivier was delicious, my mother's, but now he has become like everyone else's canteen."

Rolls into okroshka. Only without cucumbers - cucumbers with those cubes turn out roughly, I prefer them on Berner with straws, but these are personal troubles (after grating, cucumber juice generally enriches the taste well).
arin2012
Thanks for the answers, we must take! Bijou, I also prefer cucumbers on a grater, but the combine has a grater or large or small, I did not find a medium one in additional accessories, maybe I looked bad.
And yet, I beat butter-eggs-sugar, for cookies, everything was beaten very well, but as if stratified, it probably took less time to beat.

I won't tell you here. It would be necessary to go into the profile confectionery topic. I'm a very, very beginner pastry chef
arin2012
Girls, can you tell me more, please, are disks-graters from MUM5, 8, etc. suitable for MUM XL? By the way, I compared disks-graters from my old Siemens combine, which is 12 years old, so the disks are one to one with the new ones from MUM XL, even the inscriptions on them.
Barmamam
I had a MUM 4 (gave it to my son) I bought a Mum 8. the graters are all the same, but the discs for the meat grinder are different
Galina12
Good day to all! So, thanks to you girls, I became the owner of the MUM XL20C. I chose for a very long time, I doubted whether I needed "this" at the price of a good electric stove, my husband was even afraid to hint, but when she decided, to my surprise, he immediately agreed. I bought it for 30,000 thousand rubles. Yesterday I took it apart, looked at everything, read the instructions, but I haven't tried it yet. And I had a question: is it possible to buy an additional bowl for it, it can be smaller, even, I think, it can be made of plastic, in order, for example, to beat whites for a biscuit, etc.? Maybe someone came across this?
arin2012
Galina12, I also look after an additional cup. There are only metal ones, the same volume as in the kit. And in a bowl of smaller volume, the whisk, in my opinion, will not fit. Look at the official Bosch website, there are two bowls, one with handles, the other without. And by the model number you can search in other stores, the Bosch is a little expensive.

Why less? I whipped two squirrels on a "wet meringue" in Musa (this is our home name XL-20) - everything is fine. And yes, it won't fit into a smaller whisk.

Now I've been tempted by the cube cutter and chopper ...
