Fermented tea made from leaves of garden and wild plants (master class) (page 433)

Elena Kadiewa
Nah .... I'm a conservative! For me, the standard is: milk mushrooms, white, volnushka, boletus-boletus, mushrooms, which I have not seen or eaten for a hundred years. Here for the first time I saw oyster mushrooms, moreover, I found them first and yelled at everyone, look how many toadstools are growing! I collected it, but I didn't eat it ...
Yuri K
Quote: Elena Kadiewa
Lordaaaa!
I put one more on toadstools. ..
So I myself, no one hooked me up! Just as I began to be interested only in mushrooms last fall, I began to read the information

Elena Kadiewa, well well! You deprived yourself of great pleasure Oyster mushroom even in the markets for several years selling, but it is not wild, it did not have such a scent. But collected in the forest is something! In addition, their varieties are at least five, or even a dozen
Elena Kadiewa
And you will also talk to Lina, she will teach you and toadstools how to cook deliciously ... and eat safely ... God, and who was she born into? !

So they lie in the freezer! for the guest who was promised to visit! I'll feed her!

I watched videos of mycologists, about edible amanita But I will not risk it anyway. Again, you can get poisoned with lines with morels if you process it incorrectly))
Elena Kadiewa
I ate ... in the ancient times of my wild youth and morels, and lines ... with sour cream. .. it was delicious!
Natalo4-ka
Yuri, we don't like spring mushroom) morel lines and others like them are not impressive. There are enough summer-autumn ones for the tonsils, sometimes we cannot cope with using it in three years (although it is not heard measuredly). Moreover, the pestle crumbles. We take it raw ... only at the beginning of summer, if there are still no noble mushrooms and only for stew. We love a soup made from five to eight different mushrooms)
And in Belarus there are enough whites, boletus and honey agarics for harvesting. Although I like some more, yes, for example, or pickled black mushrooms.
Yuri K
Well ... in my area, mushrooms are generally tight, there are very few forests. Therefore, every poorly poor edible fungus is a luxury There would be a choice like in real forests in other parts, I would probably just be surprised, they say, and what for is there any kind of mushroom when there is a milk mushroom, white, volushka, boletus-boletus grows

Natalo4-ka, a little higher just about this I am writing)) Not everyone lives in fertile places We have steppes, almost the same Kazakhstan, with it and border!
Natalo4-ka
That's what I'm talking about, in different climatic zones mushrooms are different and mushroom pickers are different)
My homeland is MSSR, they didn't go mushrooming there. And in the Republic of Belarus I learned, and became picky, that is, capricious) we take (we do not collect!) A lot of noble ones. "Their" places are available. I really love this business.
Yuri K
Natalo4-ka, and I fell in love, suddenly Although before I was almost indifferent, but as I became interested in herbs, and then in teas, so smoothly and mushrooms interest was born
Elena Kadiewa
Yuri, go down, they were discussing mushrooms there:

Not about the one before last. I got carried away with the past. And as if our area is huge, it's one thing about 60-80 km from the city to navigate, it's quite another to go for 200-300 kilometers.

I'm waiting for dandelions - this year I will be doing sooo much honey.
It is necessary to read where this priesthood is described
sweet_blondy
Yuri K, 60-80 km is just about us. we don't go further. and last autumn was just not mushroom, so don't judge our wealth by it

Quote: Yuri K

read, it may interest you. water, dandelions and sugar) everything is simple. it is not easy to separate only the yellow part from the green one. that's boring yes)) although I read, some do not separate the green part. but I haven't tried it myself

dandelions! Does anyone have any experience with this solar plant?

In the same topic they wrote something about ersatz coffee. They also make it from the roots of dandelions. By the way, I tried to make ersatz coffee from buckwheat, barley, beets, beans, peeled pumpkin seeds. I overcooked buckwheat and barley in a frying pan, the cereals were burnt and I could not fully appreciate the taste of coffee. I didn't like the beets. I fried it for a long time, but the taste and aroma of beets did not go anywhere, although it is recommended to use it for coffee, it generally disappointed me. The most delicious coffee was from pumpkin seeds, the aroma of real coffee in general. BUT! The seeds are fat. So much so that fat floated in the coffee on top, and after it there was heartburn. Therefore, unfortunately, this option, although the most delicious, is not the most optimal. The beans are also nothing, but more tasteless, something else needs to be added to them. There were no acorns last year, I walked around 20 different oak trees, last year was not fruitful. Now I'm waiting for dandelions to taste coffee from them.

They also make wine from dandelions. If there is time and the appropriate mood for this, then we will try the wine too.
sweet_blondy
KameJIia, by the way, I also read about wine) but my hands did not reach to do it) only "honey"
I wanted to try making coffee from acorns last year. were in a couple of places passing through. in one place there are many trees, but not a single acorn was found. in the second they found some lids)) the squirrels apparently ate))
KameJIia
sweet_blondy, so I also did not have a chance to try acorns. A work colleague told a story about them. A barn with grain burned down in the village of a peasant. The trouble was big, because in winter there was nothing to feed the family. This peasant went into the forest, picked up acorns, ground them into flour, and all winter they baked bread from this flour. The bread was heavy but very nutritious. Only with the help of acorns and then survived. So acorns are a very useful plant, but we probably don't know how to use it correctly.
Elena Kadiewa
On HP, there seemed to be a topic about acorn coffee.

Objection, this is a provocation! We don't have tea here, but they also make honey! I'll go for a corvalol, it's also boring
sweet_blondy
KameJIia, in ancient times, everyone now used an abundance of chemicals in the store, people moved away from the earth and nature - so they forgot all the confirmation of our tea, which we all make here. my great-aunt told me how in childhood she and her mother went to the forest, collected leaves, tormented them and then dried them. and drank this tea
Elena Kadiewa, dada, if I'm not mistaken recipe for mistletoe.
oooh, honey from Ivanushka flowers is a dream, and if this year you are lucky and manage to find your own Ivanushka field, then I will definitely do it!
By the way, I heard that using a similar technology to make "honey" and from wildflowers. type you can directly collect and make a mixture.
and a similar "honey" from thyme is an excellent cough remedy. I want to do it this year too

Good day everyone! And I tried to make coffee from both acorns and chicory. Fortunately, we have recipes here. This year we collected acorns in the woods. We dug up chicory in the yard. The main thing is to dry them well and fry them very hard so that there is less astringency. I even roasted ground acorns. Of course the astringency remains, but with milk, it turns out delicious. The acquaintances did not even understand what they were being treated to, they thought that this was the kind of coffee. And it's also delicious to brew 50/50 with regular coffee and put honey.

I come to you! with questions. I made tea for the first time in summer and autumn. H-fruit, cherry, walnut, grapes, currants, raspberries. It turned out the box I tried at first, I did not impress. Here recently at hand was a cherry-brewed it.
I was very surprised. From one spoon to a large cup, the color is rich, there is even a taste, though rather weak. And the smell is a broom. ... what was I doing wrong? I store it in a closed box in the closet. Opened for the first time since autumn

Chaedels-tea-men-tea maniacs! ARE YOU READY for the start of the tea season? yearned, probably, for wonderful smells?
I bought / planted an ivanushka from a potted culture along the fence. Denyukh was enough only for 4 bushes. But, they are so luxurious in pots that I think they should grow into beautiful and productive adult / tall plants.
I will use it in mixes with garden ones. Something in its pure form, Ivan tea is also too aromatic for me. Not like a cherry, of course, but ... So, I even stopped suffering that in my area there is practically no fireweed. What I grow in the garden should be enough for my mixes.

Granny, from whom she bought the pots, said that in them fireweed was not grown by seeds, but dug up in the fall and transplanted into pots. She keeps them in the cellar in the fall, and in the spring she takes them out on the windowsill. By the time the seedlings emerge in the soil, there are already "commercial" bushes in the pots.

francevna
Radushka, Anechka, I congratulate you on your wonderful purchase. Let Ivanushka grow and please with delicious tea.

Southerners, have you already started making tea?
Remember last year's review of the first sticky birch leaves?

sweet_blondy
Radushka, Congratulations! good purchase! I'm waiting - will the roots that I planted last year will sprout ... and I'll still try the seeds)

Friends, can you ask a question not quite on the topic? I'm going to buy a chest freezer. what volume is better to take? these liters tell me little. I want to freeze a lot of berries. Well, the leaves for tea by itself.

Friends, happy holiday everyone!
Very soon it will be possible to start making tea. Although those who are to the south are probably already doing this
And I was at the dacha yesterday. I was so happy! the grasses have wintered, are waking up already with might and main. And Ivanushka, planted with roots last year, has sprung up. Linadoc, IrVas, thank you very much! the truth is now I can not remember where whose, but the main thing is that there are shoots!
