Flies out, flies out. Keep your hand at an angle - and then why would you take a basin. The whole structure is on the table. And the table is even. I checked the level)))

Well, that means I'm not the only one like that, otherwise I already thought that I had hook handles.

Friends, knowing my passion for all kinds of kitchen gadgets and gadgets, gave me this grater:

Grater Burner (1)

And everything, naturally, turns out to be large and rough bites,
Can you fix this somehow? Can direct vegetables at some angle or do something else. In general, tell me, pliz, what to do with these holes and how to deal
The only thing that turned out well and immediately turned out to be potatoes with cubes for frying

Grater Burner (1)

And everything else is not very good yet
RybkA
rusja, very similar to Berner, TREND model, in terms of configuration it is the same.
I don’t want to upset you, BUT it’s embarrassing that in the large attachment between the blades the points are so metallic, they should not be, at least I read this on Berner’s website, if, of course, I don’t confuse anything. And this is due to the fact that they have a secret method of soldering the blades, unknown to anyone.

And to make the slices thinner, turn the insert over to the other side. One will shred thinner, the other thicker.
Gypsy
yes, very similar to my old one .. but in mine there are no dots, mine is 100% German

And to make the slices thinner, turn the insert over to the other side. One will shred thinner, the other thicker.

What's most interesting is that this grater (pictured in the previous post) is just thinner, this wavy one with even larger holes:

Grater Burner (1)

I had a similar grater for 8-10 years, only of a smaller size, from the Kiev plant. Lepse (a neighbor worked there and brought it), so there was much less this gap between the blades. And I did almost everything with it, both salads and cabbage, and half a cucumber would immediately climb into these holes and fall out

And regarding the points in the nozzle, then it doesn't matter to me in the principality, I didn't expect it to be a real Berner (it is unlikely that they will then be sold on the TV shop). I looked on the Internet, my grater costs from 75 to 100 UAH. And how much does Berner cost with such a compulsion?
Boo Boo
And the insert can not be promoted yet?
RybkA
I don't know the prices now, I think that the TREND is not less than UAH 500.
There is nothing to be upset about, because your money has not been spent. Use it for health, and for one thing, tell us how it will behave in work.
Could you take a photo of the back side of the float? And the instructions at the same time
Luysia
And a photo of the box, if possible.

In our "Prostor" store we often have all sorts of analogs of advertised brands

Here's about this grater:
🔗 Grater Magic Slice (Magic Slice)
I think that almost all products advertised in TV shops around the world are of this quality. I have a satellite dish and I regularly observe these manipulations (mainly by consciousness with the help of 25 frames) leading in the frame. Either they sharpen knives, or they steam in a home sauna. There are especially many such channels on Italian TV.
And I'm not going to throw it away, so it will come in handy for something ...
Gypsy
Why throw it out, if it cuts normally and you can use it until it breaks or becomes dull.
Pro
She cannot become dull - she is already dull.
Don't throw it away - well, yes, let the person suffer, he cuts cabbage for rabbits, but it's free
Ernimel
I'm picking myself up some kind of shredder.

Mostly - for cabbage and cucumbers, radishes for salads.I even thought about getting a vegetable cutter to my blender (brown), but I remember from my old experience with their own combination - I cut well sooo "nano" pieces (cabbage sawdust or cucumber shavings - by choice). In theory, you may still need something to cut into strips, but this is not a fact yet.

Does Berner have any shredding kits so as not to take extra graters - no one knows? Or can they generally be recruited by the piece (although it is probably also more expensive)?

Everyone uses Berner, as you say, "mostly for cabbage and cucumbers, radishes for salads." And straws. And, since the main kit always includes, in addition to shredding, nozzles for large and small straws, then it makes sense for you to buy separately only a frame with a holder and a flat nozzle-shredder.

You are from Moscow! Do not be lazy, go to Berner's branded section - there are two dozen of them in Moscow. There, the sellers cut everything right in front of the buyer. There for yourself and decide which one to take. Not a complicated unit, with the help of the seller, you can choose your ideally favorite grater.

Frankly, I once had such a grater (led to the cheapness) ... well, to be honest, compared to Berner, this is a pure nightmare in terms of slicing quality. French fries can be cut only by overdriving the potato, otherwise it will just get stuck in the middle, more or less only cut small potatoes. He shreds the cabbage in such huge pieces that just a guard ... there is a very large gap between the blade and the insert. I tried to bend it to reduce the gap, but it was impossible to bend the metal of the blades at all ... I tried it with a hammer and pliers ... nothing took.
In short, it's better to collect and buy a burner, because this is frankly bad.
Ernimel

If it was only a matter of laziness, then I would flutter all over Moscow with pleasure, in search of all sorts of pleasant necessities for the kitchen and in general.

My mobility is severely limited by a child who I don't really want to carry around the shops. And I wanted to see it so and so live, I just want to go already so that I can roughly understand what happens to them in general and how it all goes, and maybe it's not at all what I need ...

The question is about the thickness of the slices - is it somehow regulated? For example, the same cabbage may want to be rougher than a cucumber on a salad - does this require different inserts or is there some kind of cutting principle in different thicknesses?

And yet - its blades, inserts, etc. can be washed in the dishwasher?
Rina
Ernimel, oh, I know how children limit their ability to move.
Look at the Berner's corporate website, there is enough basic information, and there are addresses where the corporate and partner sections are located.

Maybe there will be one that you can really get to. In addition, the website has numbers for online consultation.

... Girls who have a julienne grater in a food processor? How similar is the cut on such a grater to the "wood chips" obtained in the Berner grater? Did someone compare?

Now I'm going to rub you something on the one and the other, wait for the picture.
dopleta
Well, now, it's done, look. Bottom left - Burner, Korean; bottom right - Burner, the smallest (classic, double), above - disc-julienne. Julien rubs bigger. Rub the VIP? There, I think, it will be the largest in width, and thinner in thickness.

Girls, help with advice, tell me, please! Someone ordered from the site 🔗 , otherwise it is cheaper there than at Starovokzalnaya (in Kiev), almost 100 UAH? Interestingly, maybe these are fakes, although I have also met their website before (if that, probably would have closed them). I just can't buy it. And since I am in Kryvyi Rih, and we have no representatives, there is only one way out - a girlfriend from Kiev or an online store.
Thank you!
Freken Bock
gnatush , there is no way out to the Dnieper? There is one uncle, Valery Nikolaevich, who supplies Berner to the points of sale, but personally it costs much less for him. By the way, he offered to send it to Autolux. If you are interested, knock, I'll look for his phones.

KIYANKA, can you ask an immodest question? Did you buy a teatrochka there? Are there definitely no fakes? Otherwise, I'm a little afraid of getting punctured, and then my husband will cut.
And the prices are really SUPER. It is also inexpensive in Dnipro, but it is cheaper at this address, so I now, like a monkey, rush about, decide. The main thing for me is that there are no fakes.
Thank you girls !!!

Fear not, this is Berner's official dealership, the graters are all original. I generally bought by wholesale. price, but I had to have an order for at least UAH 3,000 (I managed to collect those who wish for a wholesale purchase), then VIP4 cost me UAH 345.

Good day everyone =)
I have such a question, at the office. the site states that the burner is sold in the metro and in real life, I saw it in real life yesterday, and the price seems to be like on the site, but I doubted something ... Tell me the individual graters (for Korean carrots, for example) they should be sold simply in a plastic bag? And by the way, there was only a classic set, but I would already like VIP-5

in the subway looks like a real one))). but they do not sell the entire line, but only a part. separate graters - colored paper on a grater lies and sealed in a film.

Thank you, yesterday I bought a waffle-spiral and a fruit holder. By the way, it is strange, the price we have in "Real" as on the German site, and not as in Russian (ie cheaper).
By the way, about the grater, I liked it, I immediately cut the salad. By the way, I just put it on a deep cup, and it was also convenient. By the way, who can order VIP-5?
Pro
On Berner's Russian website, the price is WITH DELIVERY across Russia - that is, with postal delivery from Moscow. This is about 15% more expensive than their own branded sections in Moscow. Real and METRO throughout the country work exactly at their "branded Moscow" prices, so no miracles in your Lipetsk - everything is correct
The assortment in Metro - only Classic, in real life is wider, but V-5 is not available anywhere.
It will go on sale in Russia on June 01. The site has an announcement about this.
It will be sold in all cities, but not in chain stores.

Girls, tell me please, I saw an ordinary 4-sided grater in the Metro, it says "berner", it costs 500-600 rubles - is it a fake or do they have such graters?
Pro
Hello! The usual "Soviet" 4-sided grater from BERNER has appeared in Metro since the new year. This is my own, the subway does not sell copies.
An additional plus of this piece of iron is the insanely sharp "Berner" knives, which press and cut a standard fruit holder. Grated carrots will be without grated manicure.

On June 1, as promised, V-PRIMA appeared on the Russian Berner's website in their branded sections. I just bought it at the Tagansky grocery store.
She herself is in a large plastic transparent package Grater Burner (1)

To clearly distinguish it from a fake and a copy, a metal badge with a corporate logo is embedded in its case Grater Burner (1)

and also bought a separate box for inserts. It is small, cheap (150 rubles), replaces the standard multibox (adapt, where everything was previously inserted and stood on the table - it was expensive for VIP, infection) and they (these boxes for inserts) can be "assembled with a locomotive" - they cling to each other friend and you can still buy inserts and everything will stand on the table together.
The inserts are only selling 10 mm so far. But this is actually the most necessary of the additional ones. For thin Korean carrots, I have their special "Korean" grater, but I don't like 7 mm potatoes that are thin and dryish fried. For soup, just right, but I like fried if it is cut into a 10 mm insert.

My purchase is here. Starting experiments

Proif it is not difficult - test, please, the real difference in the thickness of the slices. How convenient and practical is the new multi-stage adjustment?

And, yes, and more - and how much this piece of happiness goes, in fact?

Ernimel, good afternoon!
The kit itself (in a box) cost 1700 rubles, and a "pocket" for inserts 150.
I measure Slices at home in the evening, while I admire her at work (I bought it during a break).

Pro! I read your review and rushed to the Metro yesterday for such a grater. I bought it, it costs 595 rubles. I haven’t used it yet, but my husband was very skeptical about buying another "magic grater" ... But this needs to be tested in work.
Tatiana Gnezdilova
Lillay, by advice Pro bought this grater! I have already tested it on carrots, apples - the result is excellent! The metal, the handle, the legs - everything is of good quality, the work is lovely, it rubs sooo quickly, if only I could learn to always use the holder, it would be just class.
Pro
Good day! LILLAY, no one promised magic, only convenience
I actually like the one that is smaller (it costs 500 rubles in Burner's brand stores), and not the one in Metro - it's a large version of the same product. The big one in the Berner sections costs 600 rubles - as in the Metro.
Everyone (and buyers in the Metro, obviously) are chasing an impressive size, but the problem is that the larger the area on the grater side, the easier it is to bend it. Although it is steel, it is made of thin sheet, not cast iron.
In short, IMHO, it seems to me that the option for 500 rubles is more "elastic" and tough, and therefore more convenient.
But the knives on both are surprisingly sharp. It cannot be compared with any other similar grater and the presence of a cap-holder frees you from the need to grind pieces of half-grated carrots
Tatiana Gnezdilova
Lillay , there are no problems with the holder, it just lies separately from the grater and I forget to get it.
