Girls, tell me, pliz, which peeler to choose? There are nine of them on the site!
It seems to me that this is a matter of habit. They clean everything perfectly. But for 20 years I've been using the simplest one, it goes through the catalog like a triangular one. Perhaps I would change it to an expensive Exclusive, since the plastic ones break. But we don't have exclusives on sale. We have to search the Internet.
Patricia
celfh Thank you!
More questions: From stainless steel. steel, too, there are several models, how much is a triangular knife on the handle for curly cutting needed? Is it realistic for an ordinary person to learn how to make them beauty?
An exclusive with a triangular knife on the handle and a mini-grater in addition costs twice as much (about $ 30) An exclusive without these additions, is it worth buying the most expensive one?
Is triangular better than vertical?

And did I understand correctly - if, in addition to the main set, I want to buy another 10 mm insert and 3 additional graters (waffle, pizza and baby), I need to order 2 boxes for inserts? (Prima grater).

And what is the difference between the new expensive waffle and the usual one, does anyone know? Answer, pliiz.
Cvetaal
Patricia , I have Prima, bought a set. The box contains only two attachments. The new waffle grater is the same width as the Prima, so it fits perfectly to the tray, and the Prima tray is larger than the previous models. That is, the difference is only in size. I don't have a grater of pizza and baby.

on the forum of the site 🔗 ... write take the trend .... like prima pampering and you need to learn from it
people will advise ...
Dice differences? I bought myself a VIP-4 (prima were not yet on sale), I never regretted it, I use it all the time, and most often I make exactly cubes. You just need to buy a 10 mm insert, I still can't get myself together, otherwise 7 mm diamonds (and it’s the diamonds that are obtained, not cubes) are too small))).
Patricia
It turned out that nobody in Kharkiv was selling or going to Primu in Kharkiv, and they were not even interested in bringing it to order.
I will order through the online store. And I still had a naive hope that we could count on a presentation ...

there are representatives in different cities below, but these are wholesalers of the Kiev office)))) in short, in Kiev it is cheaper.
I am now collecting a joint venture in Odessa.
Patricia
VladaM Thanks for the advice, but collecting a joint venture can take a lot of time, and I can't think of anything else as I want.
They bought it for me today in Kiev and send it by train in the evening.

Here I am the owner of the V-Prima + box + box + baby gratin + pizza gratin + insert 10 mm + peeler triangular decor!
Girls, who has V-Prima, tell me, pliz, can the box be hung on the wall, and so that the entire basic set is held on it?
So I'm looking at it, and I don't understand how best to attach it to the wall?
And so everything is cool - I was afraid that today nothing will work out for me, but I could even make waffles from carrots, crooked, however, but these are trifles. The vegetable peeler is great, I didn't even expect to get such pleasure from peeling carrots, you don't need to press at all!
The whole set, of course, takes up a lot of space in my almost 6-meter kitchen, but I already found a place for everything, only this box puzzled me.
Someone help with advice !!!
Patricia

Patricia , on the packaging from the box there is instructions on how to fix it. I have the whole structure on the table, it takes up little space.
Well, on the table is probably only with inserts, but keep the grater and the fruit holder somewhere separately? And I don't have any instructions on the box, and you have Prima? The box is so small, not a multibox like the classic and trend, right?

Please tell me if you order a grater at the office. website for a parcel long to wait? I did not buy online, is it reliable?
Patricia
I bought a grater from a Ukrainian online store, everything is fine. And recently, a multicooker. And in general, recently we have been buying everything via the Internet - the savings are significant. The firm is serious, I think that even if you find some kind of factory defect, it will be exchanged for you. And the delivery time, probably, you can find out at the post office, how for a regular parcel.
Good luck with your purchase!

tat-63 , in Tver Berner can be bought at: this is information from the official Berner website:

unfortunately they are not on Gorky, but they are sold at other addresses with a 200-300% markup

What does it mean that Prima costs more than 5000r? ... I may be wrong, but dealers do not have the right to inflate prices so much, you should contact Berner via Skype or ICQ and "drip" to these points of sale.

so it's much cheaper via the Internet, even taking into account the postage

Hello everybody! I have been on your forum for a long time, but I read more and more.
Tell me as experts, did anyone buy a grater in this online store 🔗 ? How is it for reliability and prices? I have nowhere to buy in my city, so I'm looking for the seller to send it by transport companies.
Patricia, and in which store did you buy?
Patricia
inna01 I have a V-Prima and a box for it, despite the fact that the legs are not rubber, it does not slide anywhere ABSOLUTELY! But he is more than a classic, probably, it was done for greater convenience.

olenka_ya I bought in the store 🔗, called 067-725-62-24 (Vladimir). This is the official representative office, and the assortment is the largest, I have typed nozzles, additional graters, and a vegetable peeler, and boxing, and pans. They also have a promotion, a small discount plus free delivery in Ukraine. Feel free to buy. At prices in some places I saw a little cheaper, but there is no assortment .... Buy, I am very pleased! I've already filled my hand, everything turns out great.
osipenko_77
Hello everybody. I also bought myself this vegetable cutter a week ago. I have a trend without everything else. also managed to cut a finger, but the enthusiasm has not yet faded away. please write, does anyone have a salad grater and how is it?

You can put the leftover onions-carrots in a bag or plastic container and in the freezer, and then throw it into the broth very conveniently. Here.

I also have such a grater. I use it when I need thick coarse cabbage for lime salad. It turns out very mentally. And I never tried to find a use for it.

And I never tried to find a use for it.

I bought another one for the cabbage, with the largest step. And I use this one for flat ribbed curls made of dense root vegetables, cheese, lump of chocolate, etc.
osipenko_77
thanks for the answer. Tell me, does the carly cut as easily as the main inserts of the berner and how thick is the cabbage? I chopped it on a thin one without knives, but it does not come out very beautiful for me.
Fanni
Girls, thanks for the reviews and a lot of information, but I'm generally at a loss ... which modification should I take, are the cubes still cubes? Then Vip, or prima or classic, if it's still difficult to cut into cubes? The problem is that I have nowhere to look, I will order from the Internet, so I rely only on reviews ((
Patricia
Cubes, of course, do not work out perfect, but Berner is generally intended for raw vegetables, why do you need raw vegetables in cubes? You definitely can't cut boiled potatoes on it, except maybe beets ... I made cubes only once, cut all raw vegetables into a vinaigrette, and then steamed the cubes. The potatoes were easy to cut, and the beets were hard - it was hard for me, the carrots were fine. And more in 3 months - nothing. I have Prima, the inserts move very conveniently, the thickness of the slicing changes by pressing a button. The storage box stands on the work surface, both the grater itself and the holder are attached to it, takes up little space and is always at hand.
I think Prima is still more comfortable than previous models, in each subsequent model something is improved. Classic in my opinion is attractive only for the price. I've just made a casserole - I crumbled the onion on Berner, carrots, and potatoes on a large insert, only cut the meat with my hands))) And Tsvetaevsky put the pie - apples are also on Berner. I think Berner is one of my most successful purchases. Make your choice as soon as possible - and your life in the kitchen will be much easier!
Good luck!
Fanni
Thank you very much for your feedback, and if it's not a secret, where did you get it? I am from Sevastopol.
Patricia
Why a secret? In the official Berner office in Kiev, website 🔗, called and made an order. When ordering from 600 UAH - free delivery across Ukraine. I met prices a little lower, but those firms had a small assortment, and I gained a lot. And besides, the girls wrote a lot about fakes, I decided not to risk it.

Previously, one of the newest and best was VIP 4, but there is not very convenient fastening of interchangeable inserts. And, I think that in connection with this, it disappeared from sale (at least with us), and VIP 5 appeared. Everything was already provided for there. I held it in my hands and having a VIP 4 at home, now I dream of buying myself another (or instead) VIP 5. I recommend!

Omela
Well, here I am finally turned around !!! Bought a V-Prima today, plus extra baby graters and a waffle spiral. I successfully tested the latter on zucchini! But with the main one I tinkered at First I put 3.5 mm, it seemed like the carrot seemed too small, rearranged it to 7 - it was large There are two positions - cubes and bars are drawn, but how can cubes be obtained ??? Girls, tell me who is rubbing what? And what other additional necessary graters are there? Does anyone have a combichipser?
Patricia
Congratulations on your purchase! Now there will be even more delicious recipes!
I most often use the 3.5mm insert in the larger position (onions, carrots). I somehow don't use 7 mm at all, I put 10 mm in the box instead, I cut the potatoes on it for frying, and hid the 7 in the closet. I haven't used a baby grater yet. I cut apples on a waffle cake, made chips for a child. Often I also use a pizza grater for cheese, boiled vegetables, for a fur coat, for example, I have it instead of the usual grater (I used it several times to make the Swiss Rösti casserole - from Berner's website). On a regular grater, I rub only eggs.

Patricia, thanks, I applied it today! And I twisted this pizza grater in my hands and for some reason did not take it. I don't seem to be fond of salads, I need to think again. And today I tried to crumble the cheese by 7mm And 10mm for potatoes should also be bought. For some reason I was not offered it !!
Cvetaal
Omela , the cubes are obtained very easily: make one cut straight (the arrows on the holder go along the grater, parallel to the edge), the next cut - turn the holder 90 degrees (the arrows go perpendicular to the edge), then again straight and again turn, etc.
ks372
I can add a little: cutting is done by "inserts with knives" - the movement of the product in the opposite direction along the blades of the knives makes cuts, then turn 90 degrees and cut the cubes with a downward movement, then make cuts on the product by moving back, turn 90 degrees and cut the cubes and etc. That is, it turns out movement forward - back, without tearing the product off the grater, must be performed in order to get cubes. Usually, when slicing on a grater, the accent (for example, mine) is obtained only in one direction - in the direction of cutting.
RybkA
For soups / pilaf, I cut carrots into 3.5mm, for rice with vegetables and for stews I take 7mm. Bow 7 mm, rarely 3.5 mm. Only 10 mm potatoes for frying, excellent sticks.

more precisely, in any corner?
Greece, farthest left corner. They only work not every day. Tomorrow I'm going to the Nightingales, if I can, I will look at No. pav.
Fanni
Thank you very much! I’ll find, at least it’s known which pavilion) And I bought a fake for "touching" in Comfi for 140 hryvnias with a fool, well, this is no good ... the acute angle V is not sharp there, does not converge and tears vegetables. Well, I chopped the salad, of course ... But then I realized that I want this thing))
Omela
Girls, how do you store a grater ?? with safe insert ??? Today I used it 5 times a day and was tortured to rearrange the inserts back and forth.
Cvetaal
🔗

I keep it like that, in a grater safe insert
Mistletoe, I can't open the photo, please look at page 74, I showed my grater with a box there
RybkA
Cvetaal , I also store it that way, but it's still not convenient for me. Because there are many additional inserts. I keep them in boxes so that no one would cut their fingers.

Once upon a time there was a container design for slicing. The main grater was inserted into it and somehow covered from above, I don't remember exactly. My godfather has this, much more convenient.

Since I have no money either for the box or for the container, I store it like this: (maybe someone will come in handy)
Grater Burner (1)

The boxes are glued together in one block. Cardboards are laid between the inserts to keep the knives safe, each insert in its own nest.
And the container is a large saucepan: it has more volume than the container, and as it fills, I just turn it under the grater.
Natay
Good day. Girls, help me cope with the choice of a grater. Sorry, but I don't have time to read the entire forum. I went to Berner's website ... and was confused, but what should I buy? Well, a request that would rub, cut and crumble. Help please.

Well, everything is not much different for me - I really need it. But which one to choose? Well, so as not to buy unnecessary things. Yes, and you need to buy a grater on the sly
Pinagri
Natay, I have a "V-5" kit for about a year, I'm very happy. And how did I do without it before? I use it every day. It was especially great in the fall, when everything was dried. I want to buy a 10 mm insert, but they don't sell them yet, I have to order it in Minsk.
I advise "VIP-4" or "V-5". Purchase additional graters at will.I can do without them for now.
