Cvetaal, no cubes notation. I have a primitive grater
okay ... we will work on it
At first I decided that you can make cubes so cleverly for any one, but no ..

Gin, see how to get cubes from 5 minutes - this is on our grater. And she's not primitive, she has already processed so many tons of products, and the knives, as they were sharp, remained, and the plastic has not cracked anywhere so far.

Today I traveled all over Stavropol at the proposed addresses on the Berner website - there have been no departments for a long time, it all ended with the fact that I ordered a grater through the Internet store, now I wonder how much the order will go ..)))
I ordered Trend, a pouch and another 10mm grater, but there were no storage boxes in that store ..
Gin
Thank you all very much about the "primitive" one - that's me, not really seriously, I just found out that there is a more interesting option for me, I just wanted to

What accessories do you mean?

I was referring to a 10 mm insert, a box, etc.

No, these are optional accessories and are available separately. The box is 70 UAH, and the box is 150. Maybe I'm a little mistaken in the price, but they are not included in the set.

I wanted to ask, what else did you take besides the grater itself?
metel_007
I didn’t take anything (unknowingly), but now I want to take a 10mm insert, I don’t want to use the pans.

Listen, is there a wafer cutter for example (I don’t know what it’s called correctly)? Well, which cutter with corrugation and cells? Or is it just a separate grater for them? I still think to buy it, so that it would be easier to seduce my daughter for vegetables ..
Leska
Ernimel , waffle spiral sold separately. And the complete set, compatibility of inserts can be found in the plates 🔗

Boiled ones just crumple, starting from the third cut, so I cut them raw and steam them (it turns out quickly) in a sliced form

It depends on the vegetables themselves, you know that different potatoes are cooked in different ways.

I've read so much information about the Berner .... horror as I want !!!
I opted for, of course, Prim. I also want to immediately order additional graters: baby, rocco (since Prima does not have insert 1.6) and ... now the question ... or carly, or a pizza grater. Who has such graters - please advise what you use more often? The goal is to have a grater close to the Soviet one - for a fur coat, for example, cheese, etc.

My vegetable cutter came to me today. I looked and looked and the question arose: Are the needles on which the products are pricked, all not pointed in the fruit holders? The shape of the needles is asked to go there like a toothpick, but no.

lesik_l , yes, all of them are not pointed. As the planted fruit is pulled out, the thorns are pressed inward and hidden inside the holder. Sharp thorns are not needed: firstly, they will become dull anyway; secondly, the grater is so all so sharp (blades UH!) that no additional prickly is needed. Everything is great!

I am delighted

How she cuts. In 15 seconds I cut potatoes for dinner. The bow generally glides imperceptibly, friction and knives are not felt.
Potatoes on a 10-ke need to be planed with acceleration, if you brake you have to make an effort. These are trifles, I'll fill my hand.

Thank you girls for such a wonderful topic, without you I would not have bought it in my life, after all, it's expensive. But after such laudatory reviews, I could not resist.

girls, who has which graters and what do you use, which do you use often?
musyanya
Every day I use the graters from the set (usually straws), often with a combi-grater, and a Korean carrot grater. The rest are also available, but are used less often. The day before yesterday I bought a double-sided grater to grate cheese, vegetables on which you can, chocolate and so on. I bought it because I was tired of the rusting stainless steel grater. I always rubbed only cheese with iron. Now I don't need it at all.

I ordered a Trend, and now I read that it does not cut cubes ... Or does it cut?

I've been using Berner for a week now, I'm very happy !!! At work every day ... everything is cut very nicely! I bought a basic set of Prima, a 10mm attachment, pans, resti and baby graters, a vegetable peeler. I also initially took the multibox for inserts, but having twisted it at home in my hands, I realized that it was a useless thing for me, and returned it to the store. The inserts in it are not fixed tightly, and only two fit, and I got three with an additional 10 mm.
I placed the device on the work table - "at hand" so that the hand would automatically reach not to the knives and the board, but to Berner! As a result, I practically did not use knives for the last week. Cutting speed and technique develop over time. On the first day, only the assembly and disassembly of the grater took me 5 minutes, well, I need to adapt to what insert and how to cut ... well, now it's faster than it turns out by hand ... and most importantly it's prettier
Quote: mowgli

I ordered a Trend, and now I read that it does not cut cubes ... Or does it cut?
In Prima, cubes are cut in one movement only on the basic inserts, on an additional 10 mm you need to cut it like on the Trend: first, put the vegetable on the fruit holder, make several transverse cuts, and then cut it like cubes.

But now I have a question. Yesterday I cut vegetables for eggplant caviar into 7 mm cubes. The cubes are very small, but we just love these in caviar. Kanesh, mainly diamonds are obtained. But I noticed. that in order to achieve exactly a square shape, you need to turn the fruit holder by a greater degree, and for rhombuses, just turn it slightly. But!!! .... if you twist the fruit holder so that there are cubes at the exit, then it (the fruit holder) scratches on the blades !! He shredded me slightly, but this is not good for knives .... Tell me, who cuts into cubes in PRIME?

You shouldn't have returned it.See how conveniently all three attachments and the fruit holder are attached to the grater:

And in the end, everything is very conveniently placed near the wall and is always at hand.

Inside in a container - 10, 3.5 - in a grater, and between them 7.

How did you attach this box to the bottom ?? !! I twisted and twisted it and I managed to attach it to the grater in the middle, while all the inserts had to be unfastened. Such a design did not stand on the table on its own, and there was nowhere to put one more insert!
In general, having disassembled and assembled this structure a couple of times, I realized that in order to use this grater constantly and at the same time save time, I should have everything at hand and separately. Therefore, my creativity woke up, and I made such a thing:
Grater Burner (1)

Well, it's right that I will accept, I just did not see that only prima cuts into cubes, I ordered a Trend, proceeding from the fact that even the Pro was made on its basis, I do not regret it, but now I would take it. I also have boxes. The boxes are glued together in one block. Cardboards are laid between the inserts to keep the knives safe, each insert in its own nest.
All this against the wall on the desktop
And the container is a large saucepan: it has more volume than the container, and as it fills, I just turn it under the grater.

Lyoka-Lenochka! Here is a clever girl, I taught my children everything very early on, (such was my job with my husband ...) at first it seemed to me that I was a bad mother, that children have to do a lot of things themselves ..... and time has shown that now my children are completely independent and I am not afraid that they will be helpless in any situation, both son and daughter! I am calm for them! They themselves will cook, clean up, wash, bake, etc., and they will feed me and help me in everything!

OFF Lenochka, Natusichka - and it's even good when children can and do everything at home. I judge by myself - both my parents worked, and my mother was sick ... I did everything. They did not live on semi-finished products, the first or second also cooked constantly. I look at some friends wildly - the problem is to clean-iron-cook, etc. On NG, DR and other mothers cook

and a bath to put on it and rub?
This is someone who is used to holding a grater. I am standing. I am uncomfortable lying down, so I don't have a bath. I know that many put on top of the bath. But individual graters, in my opinion, do not fit under the bath in order to lie and not slip.

under the box, you can glue a box made of thick cardboard ... You see, I saved that money ... and for the money saved, buy another grater
leka
Well, I got my Prima And rather decided to fry the potatoes .. well, we started the experiment with my husband, in short, the village began to rub those potatoes so hard both from top to bottom and from bottom to top: -X that we got half fries with noodles: girl_haha: my husband was upset and went on business. Well, I'm an inquisitive person, I think something is wrong. In short, from the fifth potato it came to light that there was no need to rub from the bottom up. Now I’ll make you happy ... otherwise he said in the old fashioned way he would cut with a knife

As a beginner with a bath, it is very convenient for me, Today I appreciated the grater at its true worth, cleaned all the components of the borscht, and rubbed everything in 2-3 minutes .. I was especially struck by the fact that the cabbage "flew away" in a moment .. I did not notice how half a fork of cabbage was tilted .. I'm happy as an elephant ... My neighbors are also dreaming of this now .. That's how I infect everyone, now with bread makers, now with graters, now with multicooker .. As my friends say: don't come to you ..

I'll tell you a story ... This summer I came to a friend's house, and she has Berner, I tell her: "Oh, well done! Have you bought it?" Answers-: "Yes, no ... They gave it, but I don't know what to do ..."
Well, in the morning, while she was running for sour cream, I managed to cook her borscht ... Or rather, she rushed in, and almost everything was ready, all the vegetables were chopped, the frying was done ... She didn't even believe it. I also had a head of lime cabbage for a master class, so to speak ... And cabbage is the most hated thing that I don't like to chop by hand. Granny always scolded me that I had cabbage shrimps, not straws. And with Uncle Berner, we are such specialists ...
mowgli
Well, first of all, I don't fry, I sprinkle vegetables either raw or just let it go, so there was a large carrot in my bathtub, 2 medium onions, closer to the large ones, and a duck with a fist, but I hit the cabbage on a large basin.
And yesterday I rubbed the salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, etc., in a bath, then I poured it into a large bowl ..
