lira70, you have Moulinex 5004, and I have 2000, so mine does not bake baguettes and, accordingly, there is no recipe in the book
... Could you please give a recipe for baguette dough. And I'll bake them in the oven.

I’m at work now, so I’m sure I’m carrying the recipe, but you can download a book with recipes for mulik 5004 and there are recipes there, the only thing that I still added sugar and smeared with an egg on top. but not water .. I did not like water)) by the way, you can also download the instructions in my stove and there are about baguettes - recommendations - how much sugar and sunflower oil to add. after all, you will interfere with the dough in xn ...:

Uraaa! Take a new one, yesterday they brought 5004 baked traditional bread! Everything turned out fine, only the lid is light, but that's not a problem ...

And a question arose, but how is it "I have a little secret - I make dough according to a simple recipe" for baguettes. What is this recipe?
lira70
Instant bread
was checked today.
The result is good!
Warm water 285 ml
milk 115 ml
sunflower. oil 2 tbsp. l salt 2 tsp.
sugar 1.5 tbsp. l. wheat flour 640 g
yeast 4 tsp
I poured oil 3 tbsp. l (olive)

I was very afraid that it would smell like yeast - all the same 4 spoons, but no, everything is ok.
In general, every time I am surprised - how can one measure 285 ml of water on a floss cup, for example, if there are 50 ml divisions .. it's good that there is a glass from Panasonic ... Who came up with these recipes ..

and also .. the book says, set the weight and the crust, and the figurines are all only 750 grams, the crust is not displayed at all: what is, that is, nothing can be changed.
In short, here is the result (weight 1270g):

Moulinex OW 5004 Home Bread Baguette
this is the tip:
Moulinex OW 5004 Home Bread Baguette
this is in the context - as always - the density is almost shop
Moulinex OW 5004 Home Bread Baguette

P.S.
The holes from the mixer are very annoying, in Panasonic the mixer rarely remains in the bread, and if you get it out of the bread, the hole is much more accurate? than in mulinex bread - again, a flaw in manufacturers.
Now, more precisely, in an hour the OVERNIAN RYE BREAD will be ready, there I cheated and pulled out the stirrers after the last kneading and straightened the bun with a wet hand over the bucket. As soon as I'm ready, I'll post the photo.
MariV
I’m looking at these holes for some reason, but I don’t really like it.
The fact is that I am now looking into my second HP, I now have Pansonik - in general, it is normal.
I am tormented by the choice - somehow I don’t want a cheap one, I thought about BORK - apart from design, there’s not much to pay for.
It seems to have stopped at the Mula, which is with baguettes.
I am reading this topic carefully - maybe someone else will write good things about HP .........
lira70
MariV

My first stove is also Panas, and against its background the moulinex loses quite well, but the most interesting thing. that I have never regretted that I bought it))
They just bake breads differently - the bread and the bread are different, but there are pluses - there is more bread and dough - because often you would need more dough for the same pizza, bread is more similar to store-bought bread in its density, which is also often needed - you never know what sandwiches, and in Panas the bread is soft and it does not always make a good sandwich from it, although the bread is excellent ... The last time I made bread (I won’t put out a photo in any way), I just pulled out the stirrers after the last batch and the holes became smaller. There's just some kind of strange metal - the dough sticks to it strongly, that's why the holes are such when you shake out the bread .. and the baguettes are cool ... you can experiment with them)))
Just when you already have a stove and experience, if the second mulik is 5004, you will cope with it, but for beginners, they simply may not get bread that will delight ...because I already see according to the recipe that there is a lot of water (I made it rye in the Overn style - bread is just a copy of Darnitsky: both crust and color, but 600 ml of water per 700 g of flour is still a lot .. the roof sagged very much when the bread cooled down, and there there is still something lacking in taste ..) but if a beginner makes such bread .. then I think that his desire to bake something else will disappear ...
I do not advise taking Bork (although it seems that someone was praising here), but I heard enough of the sellers - they seem to have no service of their own .. and the models do not have an inscription: made in ... china .. at least .. But YOU choose ... and I wish YOU a GOOD CHOICE!
MariV
Thank you very much for your answer!
Me these baguettes and bABOUTmore volume and tease in Moulinex!
About recipes - I think I'll look, of course, I'll take a look - and already with Panasonic there is some experience, we'll figure it out.
I don't look at the recipes anymore - the main thing is the ratio of yeast + flour + liquid, and then - how the imagination will clear up!
Does Mulya rye bread bake well?
lira70
MariV
when I baked the first Borodinsky, I threw it out, then I didn’t throw that rye in Auvernsky way. (By the way, he got up great ... he was handsome, he was opal when it was getting cold). but no one eats it either, I want to make crackers out of it, there it is still necessary to adapt the recipes, or rather alter them .., they have obvious overkill, but nevertheless rye in Auverne - I really liked it - I will just modify the recipe , reduce water and add either sugar or olive oil, in short, it looked like ... once my dad just rolled balls out of bread - he called wheelchairs ... so it's very convenient to roll them from Auverne))) but it's good in a flour that you can try any rye - the dimensions of the capacity help ... and then I will try in it what I do in Panas. Moulinex does not stand like a Panas, that is, it immediately begins to knead, it does not adjust the temperature (well, it does not cost 30-40 minutes). And if it turns out, you can press the button for 1.5 kg and then it will knead and bake longer, which is sometimes convenient.

P / S /
muliki 5004 are now at the level of panas 255, I bought in El. Paradise on Prazhskaya (first floor) is cheaper - for 4870, although everywhere they were at 5900.
MariV
lira70
How long is the full cycle for rye bread?
Tomorrow I'll be in that area, I'll come, thanks for the tip!
lira70
well, just like in Panas 3 hours with kopecks (rye Povernski, on the FRENCH bread program, it is recommended), in any case, if you put more weight, the time increases by 5-10 minutes. It's still fun for me to look out the window ... although before, it was not and was not (I'm talking about Panas). I will repeat the link to
a book from this mulineshka, there in each recipe it is written how long:

lira70,
is programming in this stove possible?
Vesna
Several hours in a row I read the forum .. my eyes were already tired. During this time, Milk bread was baked.
I have a stove for the third day. I managed to try two recipes - Ovensky and Milk. Both bread turned out to be just super!
I looked at the photo lira70... My bread turned out to be absolutely even. I didn't level anything with my hand! I didn't even open the lid!
The only problem was that when the ten was first turned on, they smelled thoroughly. But it ended quickly and did not affect the quality of the bread.
It is a pity that my husband has a camera .. I'll try to take a picture in the evening that remains
At the expense of the mixers - both times they stayed in the bun, but they were pulled out very carefully. The idea of removing them after the last batch is attractive! I will try
lira70
Vesna
the fact that the bread is even is healthy, it should be so.
Why I don’t know so - maybe the yeast is like this - fermipan 2 in 1, that is, with an improver (I bought it at VDNKh), so it looks younger and rises higher and a ragged top turns out, although this does not bother me.
I level my hands usually with rye (in Panasonic, if I don't forget)))), well, white (in a mulika) if I pulled out the stirrers ... well, if I didn't like the top and I saw it)))
By the way, on fast baking, one big batch, then you can pull out the stirrers, and in Overnsky bread, it interferes 2 times with a break
I am more confused by mistakes in recipes .. that is, you need to follow the kolobok ... but I have not tried everything yet, so if I reveal anything, I tell others that at least they didn’t hit it ... and they had good bread)))
And of course, I'm not a super-ace .. far .. not an ace))) but I have some experience)))
MariV
answered earlier, but the answer apparently did not survive .. in the evening the site hangs ..
Well, there is nothing to program there, except to set the weight of the bread and the crust, well, there is also a timer and that's it. Honestly, I do not quite understand why the programming option is needed .. because I cannot know how much one or another bread needs to be baked, unless for baguettes I would like to have such a button ... so that not 4 baguettes in one time, but more ))) There, when baking baguettes, both top and bottom tena are turned on, and in the BAKING program, baguettes (well, nipisano) cannot be cooked .. Although I was going to try it)))
MariV
Thank you very much for the information, the day before yesterday I was at Prazhskaya Street - indeed, the prices are low.
I wandered for a long time, twisted and twisted HP, quietly quarreled with the sellers, when they suddenly began to assure me that they had just brought these wonderful devices from France (!) - and did not buy it.
Why - I will not write, so as not to spoil anyone's mood.
vlaor
And in vain that they did not buy.
I am the owner of a Moulinex OW 5004 bread machine, and have never regretted that I bought it, before that there was a Panas 253, and I did not like the shape of a loaf in it at all, so I gave it to my brother.
But in the mulk, in general, everything is just lovely, the bread bakes amazingly, the loaf is of the correct shape, and the molds for baguettes are not superfluous. Well, if the stirrers bother you, then remove them before baking, when the kneading is over, only small holes will remain.
Briska
!!!!!!We bought a bread maker a month ago. At first, we rushed between this model and PANASONIK 255, but still we decided on this one and did not regret it, we cooked a lot, we are slowly, we are very happy)))))))) And it bakes perfectly, and the viewing window is a super-idea for everything you are watching ....))))) Well, in general, our family liked this bread maker and bread made from it ......... !!!!!!!!!!!!

Our first bread on this HP.
According to program 1 "Simple bread" from oven operating instructions, without changes and additions, the ingredients were weighed on an electronic scale (another new acquisition)

HP's ability to make baguettes is something!
Since the end result is a little bread (up to 400g), it is quickly eaten up and you can make another version, there is where to roam the imagination!

In the meantime, the questions are experienced - what else do I need to buy for the stove? Kitchen scales, for example, I understand, will they also come in handy, or will a measuring glass be enough?

Masha, congratulations on your purchase!
While you are waiting for the stove - read here, a special section for "beginners". There are answers to all the questions that arise for those who are just starting to use HP:

And we need electronic scales. But a lot has already been written about this, read the forum.

Good luck to you!!!

Thanks for answers! The stove was chosen according to reviews, well, the price-quality ratio matters.
The second day on the forum, I sit and study everything, in some places I got a little lost, what and where!

And to the scales I still need to buy a sieve for sifting flour, I don't have one, and I never sifted flour. I think it's not difficult ?!

Irish
I, too, was in doubt ... to spread extra. I didn't really want money for molds for baguettes ... BUT I let the "toad" go for a walk and quickly bought 5004. Now I'm not overjoyed !!!!! I mostly bake only baguettes! how tasty they are, both rye and wheat and with all sorts of additives ...The husband says even the bread is not as tasty as baguettes !!!! and, by the way, I had no mistakes with bread or baguettes, everything worked out great (though I read almost the entire forum before buying)

Yes, I already read, too a little lost. I tend to this stove precisely because of the baguettes, like other manufacturers do not have such a thing. My daughter loves baguettes

Just wondering what attracts others.

People, tell me, please.

I wonder how much better a model with a baguette than without a baguette?
There are those who used to be almost indifferent to baguettes, but loved them very much with this model?

I am inclined to this model precisely because of the baguettes. But all in thought.

Here Bunny and others paint and show their baguettes so appetizing. And it seems that even beginners manage to bake good bread.

Is it worth it - in the sense of a baguette madele?

I, like you, are a young baker (experience - 10 days).
The baguettes were baked according to the recipe from Operating Instructions to HP (not even from the recipe book)! It turned out great.
Once mistakenly thumped 2 seconds. l. sugar instead of 2 tsp. - so it turned out even tastier.
Mashenka
eh, I didn't find a sieve-mug today. And if you don't sift, they also write - it's bad. So while I will use the "trough".
But thanks for the photo, at least now I know what it looks like!
Uncle Sam
You don't need to sift the flour.
But using a sieve mug, you always learn so much about the flour mill ...

Olesha, thank you very much. I am more and more inclined to this option. Since beginners get good baguettes, let's hope that something will come out for me too, at least the second time :-) - I'm still a cook.

Tell me who has 5004: how are you baking? Does it burn? I have a very strong bake, especially the bottom.
Jujik
Hello everybody!
I am a very young baker - I have 5004 already for 6 hours)))
There is no limit to happiness - she bakes even with my culinary talents! So far, the simplest bread has been tried, and, surprisingly, it did not burn out, did not fall off, and even the knives remained in the tray. Apparently, the day is good.
About sieve mugs: I didn't see the word IKEA in the topic in which they discussed. I bought mine there, ordinary metal, small holes, manual drive. It sifts in 5 seconds, squeezes easily and comfortably, and is inexpensive.
TatSU
Hmm,

I look at such defectors, as I asked, the forum was not found

That is, there are three types of people:
- love baguettes and all sorts of stoves only aggravate their love
- they don't like baguettes and no stoves will make them love baguettes
- did not like baguettes, but fell in love after HP, but they do not go to the forum

Personally, it seems to me that those who love KP (and lovers of all kinds of culinary experiments) really like the opportunity to bake baguettes, as it expands their creative possibilities.

From which I myself conclude that the baguette model is worth at least to think about.

Why am I asking all this. It's very easy to convince me: I read one thread - I agree. that this model is the ultimate dream, I read another - I see that my dream is not what I thought before. As a result, I cannot decide on anything.

Perhaps my throwing and reasoning aloud will help someone to decide. At least me
tenidia
Decide in more detail what you want. Moulinex with or without baguettes, or another oven? I chose 5004, because the shape of the loaf suits, and the baguettes are in the bargain. The baguettes are small, but you can always make them fresh. If you need a lot, I think you can make dough and bake in the oven.
By the way, now in St. Petersburg in Technoshock they have a discount: they cost 4800 and also MT-Online sells at the same price. They also have the cheapest multicooker.

The oven is not an option for me - while it warms up, set the temperature. keep track of time, and even warms mine very unevenly. The apartment is rented, so replacement of the oven is not possible

I need the device to try to do everything by itself. I understand that even in Moulinex 5004, some manipulations will have to be done to get the dough, form the baguettes and put it in the HP.

I am looking closely at the option with baguettes because:
- baguettes like a shape
- the baguettes are delicious (so far as an axiom :-))
- small weight of the baggage - a large volume of bread in our small family is simply not to be consumed in a short time, and it is better to have bread fresh, not weekly

Are there other stoves with baguettes?
