Report:
what had - bread maker Moulinex 5004
what did you get - a beautiful loaf of bread, with a thin crispy crust, evenly baked, with a beautiful golden top crust - not at all white!
it is embarrassing that the stirrers remain in the bread and then they have to be removed ... I have one stuck - I took it out and that's it, it's not scary, but still there is such a moment ...
otherwise - I do not know about Panasonic, but much better!!! I took a photo - tomorrow I'll put it on my computer and post it, and in the morning my husband will take my loaf to Odessa. I'll bake one more now!
p. from. during baking there was a smell of an iron heating, but this is written in the instructions, after the first few times it should go away ...

So far I am very happy and do not regret the choice made! and tomorrow I will make baguettes, and if everything is ok - I will boast with pictures !!!

Congratulations to the bunny on the purchase and the first bread The fact that the mixer remains in the bread is not something terrible for me it sometimes remains, a special hook should be attached to the bread maker for pulling the mixers out of the bread is very convenient.
Bunny
there is a hook. all right
Bunny
you can bake 4 baguettes at once.
the dough is kneaded, and then you need to get it out, divide it into 4 pieces, form 4 sausages, put in a mold - and put in a bread maker.
now bake buckwheat bread - dad asks, and baguettes in the evening ... or tomorrow
and here are the pictures

Please, stop posting the same messages in different topics, this is pointless, and then it will interfere with finding really important things.

The girls at our place of work bake such baguettes, then cut them and soak them in butter with garlic and herbs.

.. next in line is rye bread !!!!
I am more and more satisfied with the purchase every day !!!

But after the rye, the time will come and something sweet ... Isn't it?

Sorry for the immodesty, but I dare to suggest a recipe I tried for the future - here: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...mf&Itemid=26&topic=2039.0.

The recipe has been tested in Moulinex 5002 several times.

I wish you success in the further development of your model - this real Rolls-Royce in the world of bread makers !!!

Three days ago I bought a Moulinex OW 5004 Home Bread Baguette. I was really looking forward to the appearance of this model. The first bread was wonderful. But when it came to baguettes, there was a problem. It is special for Ukraine and Russia. The recipes indicate that program 9 for baking baguettes, but actually 12. Program 9 for baking Borodino bread consists of three stages ... And after the first baking, the lid was twisted. My husband managed to fix it. Do not leave it open after baking. And the quality of the plastic is not very good. Moulinex OW 3000 is better in quality.

Bunny, your baguettes are excellent. Tell me, what kind of dough did you make for them?
Bunny
made a bread maker from a recipe - sesame baguette (available on the website)
but if necessary, I'll post it
Bunny
water -175 ml
sugar -1 tsp
salt 3/4 tsp
flour - 250g
yeast - 3/4 tsp I put 1 tsp)
sesame seeds - 50 gr
Bunny
Owl, thanks for the recipe - I'll definitely try.
Here's what I thought - it seems to me that if the 5004 and 5002 bread makers have the same buckets, then you can buy molds for baguettes completely in the service ... they are just put instead of a bucket ...

Bunny, and thank you for your advice, but ... this will already be beyond my physical and mental abilities - after all, baguettes must be formed by hand. And this ... in other words, I'm too lazy

And you look at how they are better formed so that they do not creep on the main page "test formation"
Bunny
and they are not difficult to form, but laziness is an argument (for me personally)
Bunny
I just baked awesome bread made of 4 types of flour, with poppy seeds, with cheese and raisins !! Delicious so "" "fluffy !!!!
in the evening I will show off pictures here.

I saw this page. Thank you. But the fact is that once I baked baguettes. I took the dough from French bread. As a result, the bread did not turn out to be round in section, but somehow flattened.

Bunny, have you already tried to bake rye? If yes, which program?
Aksania
Bunny, if you do not mind, I will also write my reviews. I baked rye, in the program Borodino bread. Having read about the problems on the forum, I was not sure what would happen. I baked Borodinsky bread from a recipe book, there was only rye flour. I jumped around the stove not knowing whether the dough was liquid or vice versa, but I decided to add some liquid, as a result we got a delicious bread, although it was not very high, but it tasted like real rye, yum ... Now it remains to bring the recipe to perfection ...

Andrey (y) congratulations on your purchase, it's great. By the way, I baked milk bread according to a recipe from a recipe book and my hat did not fall off. Experiment with flour and yeast.

Bunny You are a super baker Very beautiful bread. Alas, I don't have time to take a picture of all my bread, but I have to try for the story
How did you bake rye? What is the recipe? Very, very tasty

Cherub, well, the first 2 rolls are completely ugly, the roof is completely whitish, is it really baking like that? Or is this a photo?

Yes, this is the same loaf, just from different angles
And the crust was very crispy and fried, with respect to the top, they were also embarrassed at first, but then they looked closely so it was whitish even in the photo in the recipe book. But since this was the first bread, there was nothing to compare with. However, the "roof" was also crispy and fried, and I really liked the taste, especially my daughter. And in the photo, it may also light up a little with a flash (it is especially visible where the cut bread is on a piece) ...
Andreevna
Cherub , the main thing is that it is delicious! It will get better and better every time.Good luck! A photo, a flash is such a deceiving thing
Cherub
Yesterday we made "Instant Bread" (also from the recipe book)
Weight: 1000 gr
Time: 1 hour. 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
• Warm water: 285 ml
• Milk: 115 ml
• Sunflower oil: 2 tbsp. l.
• Salt: 2 tsp.
• Sugar: 1.5 tbsp. l.
• Wheat flour: 640 gr
• Dry baker's yeast: 4 tsp.

It turned out to be an excellent brown crust, it was a pity there was no camera at hand. In general, if the recipe contains fats, be it sunflower oil or butter, then the crust will be dark (fried), otherwise it will be like with unleavened bread, there is a crust, but light (though this makes it no less tasty). Therefore, pay attention to the ingredients before getting upset about the wrong light crust.
ANSOL
actually, the sugar content affects the crust color more
Bunny
and 4 I got polokho instant bread - some kind of knocked down ... not rising ...
I didn't like

And after the first baking, the lid was twisted. IMHO
That's all I thought, to take or not to take ... I decided, due to complete illiteracy in this matter, I took it according to the principle - the latest model of a well-known manufacturer (from what was in the store). So far, I have only baked the first one - simple bread (I'm generally a cook ... and even a baker - just tears), incredibly tasty, my husband is happy, I really thought that my troubles with baking were over ... now just at a loss. what do you mean "twisted"?
Andrei
Never mind

There is a marriage, but not with every stove!

If everything works for you, then it should continue.
Bunny
Today I baked buckwheat baguettes. SO awesome taste!
I came up with the recipe myself - I just replaced half of the wheat flour with buckwheat in the main recipe !!! So tasty!!!
Listen, I stop baking bread - baguettes, faster, tastier and more beautiful ... and more convenient !!! I'm in love with my stove!
Bunny
I'm ok!!! The stove is super! Baguettes are delicious! I noticed an error in the recipe right away !!! how can the lid be twisted? I'm interested too..
Pysanka
The first time I baked bread, I left the lid open while taking out the bread from the container. I could not close it normally: the lid did not fit snugly and there was a small gap. The husband left a 5L canister of water overnight. Everything fell into place, but I no longer leave it open. And I really do not like the quality of the plastic. We have almost all Moulinexc equipment, but the bread maker seems to be a fake. But the bread bakes well (mmm), there has never been a miss.
kamo
Does the 5004 have a dispenser (for raisins, etc.)?
Nat_ka
no
kamo
That is, without interfering with the process in the middle of the cycle, you can not add raisins?
Bunny
no. can't .. it doesn't bother me in any way ..
kamo
I sit and think what is more important to me: a dispenser (Panas255 for 160 ye) or the possibility of baking baguettes (muli5004 for 233 ye).

While you think, you will be left without a stove, buy what is available
For your information: I don't use my dispenser at all, because I always load more additives than it can fit.
And the baguettes are just long, I bake in the oven for about 20 minutes. And what's the difference, put them on a baking sheet or in molds, you still need to help with your hands
Bunny
and for me, baguettes are more important ... our whole family got hooked on them! such a yummy! and you don't need to preheat the oven on purpose ... and there are tins - and this is important ...
Aksania
Bunny, I also like to bake baguettes, and my daughter loves to eat them very much. Only I don’t have time for baguettes, to the greatest regret, I only have enough energy and time to load everything into the stove, turn it on, and take the bread out of the stove before going to bed.

Good day!
Can you please tell the owners of Moulinex 5004 - are two kneading hooks used when kneading any amount of dough or only for a large amount (1.5kg)? The fact is that when kneading the dough for 4 baguettes, one mixer jumped out and got jammed between the second mixer and the bottom of the bucket. It's good that I was there and quickly turned off the stove, otherwise, I think, the motor would have burned out. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? It turns out that leaving the stove unattended is not entirely safe.
(I have had a stove since yesterday - there is no operating experience)
