I have been using this gel for a long time, a good thing.
Omela
tanya1962 , so after your recommendations I began to look for him. I just found it and ordered it. And how much do you pour into the PMM ???
Tanyusha
Omela I pour 15 ml on the rice.
Alya82
Tell me, is it possible in an emergency to wash without rinse aid? has anyone tried this? The instructions for Bosch say that you can temporarily turn off the rinse aid indicator if you use 2 or 3 in 1.
Omela
Alya82 , welcome to the forum! My indicator does not turn off. Without rinse soap. I just didn't pay attention to the light bulb.
RybkA
Tell me, if the usual amount of rinse aid was enough for me for 3 weeks before ... Now the indicator does not light up even longer, although by all external signs it is time to pour again. What is the reason for this?

I think that some kind of garbage with a rinse aid sensor. Here, too, the boss kept silent, although the compartment was completely empty, and there were clearly some undried drops on the dishes. Filled in - everything is dry-smooth again. If you repeat, you will have to call the service, but I would not like ...
Margit
The girls, thanks to our forum, ordered PMM in the online store. This Wednesday should be brought.
Model BOSCH SMS 53M02 EU. Tell me, pliz, what actions should I take immediately after connecting the machine, and what needs to be purchased right now, what detergents are needed, what salt and rinse aid to buy.
I absolutely do not understand anything in this matter, and no one has a car with my friends, no one can advise anything.
Our water is artesian, not very hard, a little scale is formed in the kettle, once every six months it is enough to boil water with the addition of citric acid, it helps well.
Omela
Margit , congratulations on your purchase! : flowers: Let it serve for a long time and protect your hands!
You should have 3 in 1 tablets in your PMM kit. You can use them for the first time. Place in the funds compartment.

Then, if you wish, you can also buy similar tablets. Then you don't need to use anything extra. There is salt, powder, and rinse aid.

Or use it all separately. This is exactly what I do. I buy separately salt (Calgonit finish) and the powder like this:

Choosing a dishwasher

I put it 1/2 h. l. for one wash. But I do not like it, very strong smell, I will switch to Japanese gel. You can choose the firms yourself, which you have in stock.

And I use 6% apple cider vinegar as a rinse. There has already been a discussion on this issue (harmful or not). I am using and happy!

If your water is not hard, then the switch can be set to 1. Look in the instructions for how to do it. If there are no stains on the washed dishes, then everything is ok. If there are, then rearrange to the number 2 or 3.
Kalmykova
Margit ! Congratulations on your happy purchase! In general, it is advised to add salt without fail. There are many brands of funds, Kalgonit, Somat, Domol. Domol is cheaper, but not inferior in quality. The somat is more nuclear. The pills are more expensive. It is more economical to use powder, salt and rinse aid separately. In Russia, girls praise Japanese gels, but here in Ukraine I have not met them. I wish you a lot of fun with your new girlfriend!

The only question is, how much should you pour it into the machine?
Margit , pour into the rinse aid compartment completely until the indicator light turns off. And the machine itself will take the right dose for rinsing.
Ernimel
And such a simple solution - apple cider vinegar instead of rinse, super! The only question is, how much should you pour it into the machine?
Just first read part of the discussion on this topic (a few pages ago) to make sure that you deliberately decided to pour apple cider vinegar into the machine, and not special means. Organic acid of unknown purity (possibly with additives) plus constant heating and plastic with gaskets ..... in general, read it and decide for yourself.

I buy salt separately (Calgonit finish)
He's one of the most expensive, why pay extra for branded packaging? I have a package "sanit" of 2 kg, it costs about as much as a kilo of calgonite in Auchan, enough for a long time. And if you really want big savings, then you can look for technical salt for the regeneration of ion-exchange resin (in fact, salt regenerates it in the machine) in industrial packages, it will cost a penny at all, if there is somewhere to store and want to save - why not. But there is hardly 5-10 kg of packing. Simple food (not iodized!) Is also theoretically possible, but this is a lottery - no one knows its degree of purification, standards for food and equipment may be different.

All the same, if you have no personal dislike or contraindications to standard rinsing agents, use them. You won't regret it later, and you won't have to look askance at the local Kulibins ...

I will do so, in any case, until I gain enough experience, and then we will see.
Today the car was brought, all day was basking after frost.
Now he is almost finishing his first testing. I chose the automatic program, since there were only tablets in the kit for testing, and then only 2. Tomorrow I will start looking for funds for a semitrailer.

At the slightest opportunity, I recommend purchasing German, Japanese or other imported funds for PMM, that is, something that is not produced on the Slavic territory of the former USSR. However, I constantly keep Kolgonit Finish near Moscow, in tablets, I use when I need to remove pans or hood filters from carbon deposits - this poison of uncontrolled production mercilessly eats any nasty thing, but use it for everyday dishes - God forbid ... , - it's better to just rinse with vinegar ...

And I didn't say anything about gels for PMM. I myself use the German powder "Domol", which is sold by the chain of stores "DC", which is cheaper than the annoying advertising Slavic Kalgonites.

But here it is already much more difficult to speak, since geopolitical interests are involved, or, in a simple way, direct economic expansion.
Now we in Ukraine are wondering why we still have something besides the Russian Calgon ...
Panevg1943
I must say right away that I have not read the entire collection in the topic. Maybe someone wrote about this tool ... I have been using only Yplon (Belgium) products for 7 years. Cheaper than Calgonite. Salt is definitely better, larger and more slowly consumed, and the detergent is in no way inferior to any other means, and I have slowly tried everything over this period. Rinsers from different companies, I think, do not differ from each other. It is very important to know the hardness of your tap water in order to properly install it in the PMM. I do not recommend using any vinegar or other folk remedies. PMM is a relatively expensive device and it is not worth risking because of the imaginary cheapness.

I completely agree! The composition of the rinse aids of well-known companies is no different from each other, and if a PMM manufacturer prefers a particular brand, then this is due exclusively to a mutually beneficial agreement.

There is only one problem here: the Slavic market is supplied with products manufactured by the Slavs for the Slavs at the Slavic factories of Reckitt Benckiser. And this, believe me, is a big difference in quality. Like our Ukrainian cigarettes, produced on imported equipment for our domestic market, there is something different than something similar in brand and brand, but sold in Europe. I already wrote here somewhere: when my brother comes to visit us from the states, he always carries his "Parliament" with him, because he cannot identify our "Parliament" cigarettes as "Parliament" ...

Now, when buying Somat salt, they give a promotional portion of Somat gel for washing. Nothing is plainly written in Russian, except that you can not use other additional means ... is it without a rinse or something?
Imandra
Good day!
People who use the little Bosch SKS 50E12? Please, tell me how much powder do you put?
I use Finish powder and I just can't get used to it - the machine does not rinse well, apparently, foam remains. And it dries with foam too ((((Although in the end the dishes don't taste like anything, they don't sting anything, not salty, almost no smell, no streaks, etc.) .It's not even slippery if it gets wet (but the water that doesn't stay on the glasses dried - soapy, slightly slippery) Salt for 2, rinse for 1. I tried Somat tablets, tried half a tablet and even a quarter - all the same. I tried 2 teaspoons of powder, 1.5 teaspoons. I haven't tried less, didn't have time.
Do you really need 1 spoon or even less powder? It doesn't seem to bother you, but it's not entirely pleasant that the foam is drying at the bottom ((((
Ernimel
foam remains. And it dries with foam too
it seems to me that the matter is not at all about the powder. all typewriter products with sooooo low foaming. I know for sure - I had a kandy with a window, you can see everything through it. There, the foam, as such, was hardly visible either on the tablets or on the powder. But the rinse aid that gets into the main cycle can foam. well, or maybe someone pre-rinses the dishes with the fairies? I can also assume the wrong stiffness. Or drain problems.

I pour the finish into the boss (and they took white and lemon) by eye - approximately until the first risk in the compartment. I never froze, everything is dry and crunchy, the settings are factory settings, I haven't changed them.
Imandra
Thank Ernimel
In the main cycle, it never foams, when I only tried rinsing at the factory settings, then I reduced the rinse from 2 to 1 - the same (Can it be true that the salt should be reduced / increased?
Problems with the drain probably can be true, that's just how to calculate them ((
Ernimel
Imandra, well, I remember that I was foaming at the first time in Kandy, because there the consumption of rinse aid was almost uncontrollable. Try to run an empty cycle (or several) and set everything to a minimum. If it doesn’t help, there may be something about it with the dispenser, probably you won’t understand without service.
Margit
Today we traveled to many supermarkets, Calgonit is mainly sold everywhere, only in Tandem I saw Somat, but did not dare to buy because of bad reviews. I bought the Calgonit finish salt (Poland) and the Calgonit finish detergent (Czech Republic). The rinse aid was chosen by Claro (Austria), the smell seems to be light, not perfumery. I also bought a freshener for PMM "Lemon", I don't know if it was necessary, but I took it. One piece for 50 cycles. So, now I am wondering how many cycles of all this goodness should be enough for me, and how soon I need to continue the search for other mediums.
For myself, I decided that I would look for Domol.
P / S The first washing of dishes in the PMM with a tablet, I did not like the smell, and the dishes were salty, although there were no stains.
The first impression, it's great that I am free from washing dishes, and the second - all the same, I wash the dishes cleaner!
Omela

Panevg1943

Margit, yes, no hand can withstand 65 degrees, as in PMM! In addition, the other day there was a broadcast and in conclusion it was said that when hand washing dishes with Fairy products, you need to rinse each item 50 times! You do it? And the PMM rinses out, and the water saving, if there is a water meter, is decent! Master your purchase, then evaluate.
Lisss's
Margit, you, most importantly, do not be discouraged! I found a common language with mine for a long time - the dishes were either slippery, or salty, or there was a pillar of foam at the bottom, so you need to adjust the amount of salt and rinse aid. if salted, reduce the salt.just change 1 parameter at a time, otherwise you won't know when to stop ..

but now - here I swear - as I take out the dishes from the machine, I praise them aloud - helper !! I washed everything while I was on HP. ru sat

and yet, it does not at all wash the dried protein from the broth on the walls of the pots. I know this, and all the same I put the pan in the machine because the machine will remove the fat from the pan and take off this protein, and after washing it, I can easily remove it with a rough sponge, nothing will need to be scrubbed such a secret I have formed

so don't be upset as you adjust everything - praise her!

Margit , well, here I do not agree. I will never wash dishes so cleanly without streaks! And if the dishes are salty, try or you have completely clamped the lid on the salt container. Since it happened so that the dishes were all kind of whitish and salty, it turned out that I did not clamp the lid well.

Girls, and I take such pots and walk in front of the sink with a brush in a circle where a ring of broth or milk has formed. Without rinsing anything, I put it in the PMM, everything is perfectly washed!
Margit

The dishes were washed much better today than they were with the pill yesterday. The glasses are clean without streaks, only I had to go over the pan with a sponge, as by the way and in time I advised Lisss's.
Yesterday there was no salt in the machine, she was washing the dishes with a 3in1 tablet, and the dishes tasted salty. Today, the salt on the dishes is felt much less, I washed it with powder, rinse aid, and the salt filled in all 1.5 kg. Maybe I'm wrong to find fault, so it should be? The dishes are clean, not a single cloudy speck. The default hardness value is 4, only 7. Can you put it on 3 and it will be better?

Such a thing seemed to me too sharply smelling. Although, maybe, when used, the smell will be washed off and reduced. Almost all rinse aids are fairly neutral in odors (that is, the dishes after them do not smell). And so that there are no extra odors in the machine itself (and they just say that this is a type of freshener) - I just keep the door slightly open between the sinks, well, once every six months - an empty hot cycle with a lemon juice or with a special agent (which is the same lemon to-that, only with odorant and with paint and is much more expensive). And once or twice a week - clean the filter. It would be necessary, of course, to clean it after each wash, but I'm usually too lazy.

The default hardness value is 4, only 7. Can you put it on 3 and it will be better?
Or try it at random, or act according to science and get yourself an aquarium water hardness test, and then see what value the instruction recommends for your performance.

Margit, Got it. I do not use pills, although I also came with two in the kit. My daughter picked one of them, I don’t remember the second one.
In general, the dishes should not be salty or any other, just clean. With Kalgonovsky powder, I also sometimes stuck my tongue, like Lisss's... Then I also licked her a couple of three times for a test. Then I bought Domol for him and mine.
You will like it, let it please)))

Ernimel , and how much citric acid do you put in? And then I met one such cleaning product on sale, I thought about taking it ...
And my filter is not very clogged. The main problem is the stickers on the cans.
Elena the beautiful
Hello! I'm new to the site. became the mistress of PMM 3 weeks ago. immediately have a question? - what is the best way to wash the dishes ,,,,? the starter kit was "top house". But I don't like the smell of clean dishes. bought powder "somat" 3v 1. from it white bloom on the bottles. began to look on the forum for something environmentally friendly. the reviews liked "Lyon", "Domol". but unfortunately I have not met them in Voronezh. My baby dishes in the PMM. can anyone share their experience of washing children's dishes, so that it is harmless to the child.
Omela
ELENA THE BEAUTIFUL , welcome to the forum!
If funds allow you, you can order a "lyon" by mail. Ozone provides such a service. HERE I gave a link.
I didn't like "top house" either because of the smell. I didn't even use it to the end. Before that I used Crystal Fix. In principle, I liked:
Choosing a dishwasher

And I try not to wash children's dishes in the PMM machine. And if mine, then rinse it again under running water!
Elena the beautiful
Yes, and I rinse with water. I tried to lick, as many did here. It seems to be not salty and not bitter. I'm like a doctor,: doctor: first I'll try it myself, before giving it to the child's mouth. For this reason, I want my assistant to be also safe (in terms of detergents)
AlisaS
I use only calgonite powder, I don't use rinse aid. Everything is washed wonderfully.
I don't feel any aroma of powder after washing.
But they say that this way not all detergent can be washed off the dishes.
I went shopping, sniffed the rinses, and for some reason I didn't really like their scent.
Does the dishes smell like rinse aid after washing, or don't they smell at all?
The choice of rinses is small - calgonite, somat and another German Green OPM. Who used Green OPM? what are the impressions?
Elena the beautiful
I have a top house rinse aid. The composition did not cause any neg. emotions (special purified water, citric acid, 5-15% non-ionic surfactants) does not smell. But, as I already said, the pills smell (of the same company)
RybkA
I have Domol powder, and Calgonit rinse (once bought once 1 liter will not end in any way), and so there is no smell, neither chemical nor aromatized ...
Kapet
All Brand rinses that are usually recommended by PMM manufacturers have the same composition and, as a rule, have a neutral odor.
And the specific stench from PMM is created by the detergent. And the more vigorous it is, as, for example, almost all types of Calgonites, the more disgusting the smell.
Elena the beautiful
: pardon: I am completely confused ,,,, please advise that something is not thermonuclear. (I am allergic, I react strongly to smells) today again all my arsenal for PMM smelled, the pills stink (top house 6in 1) Still, where to stop ?? ?

I will try to buy tests, so long as they are sold in our city. Calls to the water utility are useless, they do not answer questions from individuals. So far, I reduced the hardness value from 4 to 3, and reduced the rinse aid by one division. The taste of salt is no longer felt.
Girls, I wanted to order Japanese gel in OZON - e, but I read an unimportant review there. Now I don't know what to do ...

You can try Amway, maybe that's what you need! I, too, can hardly stand smells. Now the machine is just washing the dishes; it could hardly stand the smell of calgonite. Now rinsing and smells pleasantly of lemon freshener, let's see what happens next. This is the third dishwasher in my car.
