I also like the latch.

paramed1, I realized that there was a problem with Frying when I saw how the onions, instead of browning, let the juice go (((They fix the cartoon - the situation will clear up. lucky with the instance.

Scully_xThe Dex-50 is the same as the Phillips 3039. A good hot cartoon that doesn't suit everyone. The Dex-50 has drawbacks. For example, in it you cannot reduce the time for Stewing and Baking. But Baking allows you to make perfect biscuits, charlottes, curd casseroles, etc. There, everything is baked in 45 minutes and nothing burns. That is, I know that everything will work out for sure, and there will be no problems. By the way, at Baking in Dex I bake potatoes and make stews (onions, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, tomato). But here's the problem with zucchini and blue ones - they turn into porridge, you have to make caviar from sauté using a blender leg.

I haven't really tried Philips 3036 in terms of baking, I baked it only 2 times. The curd casserole rose strongly, resulting in a dome, which then fell off in the middle. The biscuit cake turned out, but the bottom was a little more fried than in Dex. I am also unhappy that my Philips 3036 does not fry as expected. I am dissatisfied that the meat on the Stew turns out to be boiled rather than stewed. I am very pleased with milk porridge and how buckwheat is cooked on stewing - Dex does not know how. I'm happy with the yogurt. I think you can get used to Baking. It is enough to make a few test biswitches to determine the temperature and time. I can say the same for all modes - they need to be tested, to determine what to cook on, what time to set, and so on. You think Dex and I didn't suffer? And how! While I got used to it, I figured out what and how he was doing, several months passed.

Philips 3036, as for me, is a very mysterious model. A bunch of modes are declared. In fact, some of them duplicate each other. For example, Rice, Buckwheat and Plov, as I understand it, are one and the same, there are the same temperatures. Boil and Steam are the same except for time. Working modes for me personally are Porridge, Yoghurt, Oven, Steaming, Stewing. On the other hand, you can adjust the temperature, so that all these disadvantages are not so critical. If the step was 10 degrees, it would be great at all. By the way, a saucepan from Dex-50 fits Philips 3036.

And I don't like the latch, it is more convenient in Dex. But a pair of Philips 3036 gives less - I checked. The valve is also more convenient for washing and drying - this is a plus.

It turns out that you will have to adapt to any ...
And if you had the opportunity now to choose knowing all the pros and cons, what would you choose after all? Dex or Phillips. The fact is that I live in a very small city and if there are any problems, I will not find a service here, so I would like a more reliable model ...
Yesterday I read about Dexas, everyone wrote about problems with buckwheat, I was already inspired, I thought, now I will read about Phillips and buy them, there probably will not be such a thing, but I got here, and Phillips also have jambs)
Daffi
Scully_x, I don't know which of the two is better to buy. Everyone has different needs. I need one thing, you need another. If the priority is milk porridge, yoghurt, stewing without intense boiling, steaming, you can take Philips 3036. For me, the frying was too cold a critical drawback. In the cartoon, I mainly stew meat, pre-frying with onions and carrots, so I was very disappointed.

Service can be a problem, especially in your case. You will also note that Dex gives an exchange guarantee, and Philips gives a repair one. I won't tell you about reliability. Both those and others break. My friend's Dex-50 stopped heating a year after the purchase - she was given a new one. My Dex started to malfunction after 3 years. It works, but does not turn on immediately (((Phillips, oddly enough, broke down after the first month. This is my first time.
Yulia Yulka
Mine copes well with the fry and there are no complaints about stewing, I don’t like baking in cartoons, I tried everything baked and didn’t stick to the bottom, but on the "yogurt" it overheats, the latch on the bank, I first fold it back, and then I lower the lid) ))
Daffi
Extinguishing extinguishing strife. For example, in Dex-50 there is extinguishing at 95-100 degrees, in Philips 3036 - at 90-95 degrees. Yes, it can be prepared in both cases. But the result will be different.

Yulia Yulka, how do you determine what overheats on Yoghurt - do you measure the temperature? Yes, the latch has to be protected. I also fold it back first, then close the lid and release the latch. This is the inconvenience. In Dex, such tricks are not needed. You just close the lid and everything snaps into place without any problems, you don't need to take care of anything. There is generally a different design, more thoughtful, as for me. Now, if I could attach the Dex latch to the Phillips lid, and also add functions like the Polaris. Yes, a pan of the same quality as in Phillips and Dex - that would be a cartoon!
paramed1
Daffi, yes, Gogol, "The Marriage". So it is, each model has its own troubles, duplication of modes is everywhere. Therefore, many people buy several multicooker of different models. Of course, if there are opportunities for this. I bought the second pressure cooker, the difference is fundamental. But I know people who have 4-5 ordinary multi-cookers, in one it is good to bake, in the other to stew, in the third there is the possibility of adjusting the temperature and modes manually - multi-chef, in the fourth ... It depends on who spends how much time in the kitchen. I chose the first slow cooker for 2 months, the second for a month.
Yes, I also have a question for Yulia about the Yogurt regimen. It often happens that yoghurt is ready in 4 hours, there is such milk, and the leavens are different. And some need everything 8. Maybe you just need to follow the cooking time?

Yes, I also have a question for Yulia about the Yogurt regimen.

I do not know whether to me or not, but I will answer. I check the yogurt when ready. More often it takes 5-6 hours (usually sour from the refrigerator). If you took warm milk, then it is ready in 4 - 4.5 hours. If you put in a little leaven, it could have gone up to 7 o'clock.

how do you determine what overheats on Yoghurt - do you measure the temperature?

The temperature was measured by thermometers. Overheats. 45-47 degrees. Since I need yogurt just as a medicine, I don't cook it in this cartoon. I have 4 yogurt makers so this is not a problem.

This is a very large overheating. And measured at what time from the beginning of the regime?

Manna, yes, I did. Somewhere I even had recordings at half-hour intervals. Now I will not find them and I will not say for sure, but it was definitely after the third hour. The yogurt, of course, turned out to be gorgeous - dense, the spoon was already standing, but why do I need unhealthy yogurt? I'm useless and I can buy in the store ...

So, to put it mildly, "unhealthy" as in a store, homemade even when overheated will not be. But yes, bacteria can die if overheated - that's for sure.

Virgo, is everyone so overheated on yogurt? Somehow I have not met such complaints before. Or is it the problem of individual copies?
Yulia Yulka
I didn’t measure the temperature on yoghurt, I couldn’t use anything, I can only tell from my feelings, I made hot water in the brand and in the fillet at the same time, fermented it on Activia and Evitalia and took different milk and changed the time, or else did not ferment, but you miss a little, the whey has already begun to separate,
Yulia Yulka
In principle, you can ignore this, the yogurt was quite edible))) and there was not a lot of whey, perhaps after the brand with his program "yogurt" I started to find fault

I didn't measure the temperature on yogurt, there is nothing,

Yulia Yulka, Yulia, can I share my experience? I achieve the overall temperature in the cell using a regular outdoor thermometer (up to 100 rubles at a hardware store). But I bring it to the ideal with the help of an ordinary medical thermometer. I wipe it with alcohol (vodka), dip it into yogurt and track it. Yes, I had to donate one jar, but now I know for sure that my yoghurt is fermented at a temperature of 41.6 degrees. I think that I will not achieve a better result)))

I hope that at least someone will find my experience useful))

Julia, I'll take a note, I myself would not have thought of this, girls, you can't take us with your bare hands, we will find a way out of everything

Yulia Antipova, Yulia, the question was not for you, but for another Yulia ... My yoghurt does not overheat, it turns out the same both in Filipka and in Brand. Overheating is probably a problem with the thermostat.
Manna
In any case, we will keep in mind that there are specimens with overheating on yogurt.

Girls, is there in this cartoon in the instructions a decoding of all modes with an indication of the temperature in each of the modes? (I have such a plate in Dex60, and Phillips looks like this Dex, in most modes).
Daffi
The "Risotto" program is "Buckwheat", "Jam" is "Porridge".

Oh, thanks, I will study. I ordered this cartoon for my son, he lives separately, alone. I'll teach on the phone, but I haven't seen her in my eyes, I'm glad that she looks like my Dex, it remains to read nuances. They will bring it tomorrow, so you have to test it right away.

Girls, well, we bought this slow cooker. I was very worried to take it after Dex60, with which I became close in two years. But there was only one Dex nearby and for as much as UAH 2710, and even that, while I was thinking, was taken away. And I think so, maybe not in vain. Bought Philips. For 1400 UAH. Nice, good saucepan. The menu is intuitive after Dex. I was surprised by the lack of sensory modes (There are two of them in Dex - Rice (it is also for Plov) and Buckwheat. This is a minus, you have to adapt. I made my first multi-cooker dish with verbal guidance - Potatoes with chicken fillet pieces on Baking (that is, on the Oven mode 120 degrees) .It turned out just amazing. I liked this dish more than in Deksika.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
First, fry the chicken pieces in sunflower oil in sunflower oil for about 12 minutes, then pepper, salt, add herbs (marjoram, thyme, and my favorite utskho-suneli - a pinch) and put potatoes, cut into large (in halves or quarters) potatoes, mix everything ... Oven mode 120 degrees 1 hour. After 30 minutes from the beginning, open and mix. Then open again 10 minutes before the end to add the chopped onion. Mix. After cooking, sprinkle with chopped dill (preferably fresh or ice cream) and finely chopped 1-2 cloves of garlic.

What's wrong with Rice Mode? I did not get that
Yulia Antipova
Mona1, Tanya, looks very appetizing. Can you issue a separate recipe?
Mona1
Yes, this is not my recipe, I once read the Dex60 in Temka, one girl told me, however, she had no chicken, just potatoes. Maybe there is already somewhere on the forum. Yes, and I wrote here in detail how to do it.

What's wrong with Rice Mode? I did not get that
I may just not figure it out yet.Somewhere I read that there are no sensory modes in Phillips (when the mode is not a strictly defined time, but can last 40 minutes, and 45, and 52, for example, depending on the amount of liquid). And it is written that Rice, Buckwheat, Plov are automatic modes. Does this mean that they are strictly the same in time, or are they automatic, are they sensory?

Tatyan, I was always sure that 3036 has touch modes. None of the manufacturers writes that the "touch" mode, we call them so here, are used to it, but they write "automatic".
Mona1
Exactly, this is probably the popular name - touch. I just carefully looked through the instructions for Dex, it says - two automatic programs.
Mona1
Girls, I read Temka and have already seen several times that the girls are worried that the porridge will end up on the Heating Up, or that in the Porridge mode it is impossible to do less than 1 hour. Girls, well, you and I can make the cartoon dance to our tune. With the help of an elementary thing called a timer and is sold on any radio market. There are mechanical, there are electronic. I have the lighting in my two aquariums connected through such timers. And I finally don't turn on the light for the fish. He himself turns it on every day at the right time and turns it off at the right time. We even went to the sea for 3 weeks, and it turned on itself.
Here I googled how many of them are different. The link came out huge, if you can't go to it, then just google pictures in a search engine write Off timers

The multicooker was repaired for me. Cheers cheers!!! Today I set to boil oatmeal in milk and water - when it boiled, everything began to run through the valve. Previously, this was not the case (((Sadness, trouble. Now I will double-check the other modes.
ivch
Girls, tell me who steamed? I put the meat on the "stew" mode, at the same time I put the plastic bowl to steam the dumplings. After a while, the cartoon turned off, the plastic bowl was burnt. So it was impossible at the same time?
Manna
ivch, and the contents of the bowl did not close the valve? Was there liquid in the bowl?
Mirabel
silence ... ladies! how are your cartoons doing? do not mow? something mine began to give out active boiling on Prog-Stew
