I cook soup-borscht only in stewing mode, otherwise it's something)))))

after 10 months of using the multicooker I will say one thing = I do not regret it, that's for sure!
cereal porridge is always excellent (here is the mode, however, buckwheat, it remained strange for me, everything crashes)
I cook the meat - first I bake it for about an hour, then I add boiling water and stew for an hour. if it is homemade chicken or duck. yum comes out)
cabbage on pilaf mode (recipe - celfh ) - class !!! mmmm .. very tasty, before that I did not know how to cook stewed cabbage. only I will run into the program "pilaf" only once, for me it grumbles a little - as it should be. But this is all for an amateur, who loves softer, then just turn on the pilaf mode again.
I didn't make friends with baked goods, it's still easier for me in an electric oven.
yogurt - also delicious. I do this: for 1 liter of chilled boiled milk, 1 package of "Activia" bifid-yogurt. and in 4 hours the yogurt is ready. then I just pour it into cups and into the refrigerator. sugar and berries can be added to taste.

the only negative for me is that the "porridge" mode can only be set for at least 1 hour. for some cereals, 30 minutes is enough.

I hope it will be useful to someone.
Mirabel
IrinaYour information is very useful! Thank you!
I have 2 multi and therefore not all modes have been tested yet. In Fillet I bake only bread, it turns out very well.
I have not tried porridge, but by the way, you can probably turn it off forcibly, if 1 hour is too long?
I have not tried cabbage, but after your post, I will definitely try.
I am also very pleased with the yogurt! But I do in cans or cups.
And I'll try the meat according to your method.
And I cook buckwheat and other cereals in another cartoon, so I won't try this one at all.
And the soup is ATAS, not a program. In general, they write in French so-slow-brewing-soup ... so it is probably still recommended to cook soups on Stew.
miroshka_I
Thank you, Mirabel) I'll try and I will put the yogurt in jars in the cartoon. only it is necessary to find such special ones .. I have not even met. what are you doing?

and the porridge is good in the "porridge" mode, but I really turn it off forcibly.
Mirabel
Irina, yes, ordinary glass jars, I close the top with lids. and under them I put a napkin to keep the bottom of the bowl.
And I'll try the porridge tomorrow.
Ira, I can only watch you and I hang out here. Well, let's exchange recipes and nuances with the work of our multi.
Cook this soup, very good!

And do not tell me the recipe. I have a Phillips 3067 for 5 liters, I tried a pie with apples, the pastries were disappointing at all, Manna pointed out mistakes to me, but I'm not ready to experiment with pies yet: oops: maybe even bread will turn out
Mirabel
Oksana, I didn't see your message, so I didn't answer right away.
Look at the power of your multi, in my opinion, low-power baking is not very good. At least I had a weak Redmond, well, the muffins were somehow baked, but I couldn't cope with bread.
I baked according to these recipes and was very pleased with the results.

But she baked a sweet cake in another cartoon. Something in this did not dare, although I must try

Braising at a fast pace? I didn't notice it! Yesterday I made lazy stuffed cabbage while stewing. Well, everything worked out great.
In general, I read very good reviews about her.
Make yogurt and bake bread. Impressions about her will immediately change.

extinguishing - there, at the beginning of the program, it boils violently, and then the temperature drops, and it seems to be extinguished slowly. so at me. I somehow did not bother, Ka kono atm is stewing. but this program is one of my favorites. everything always comes out great.
I really like meatballs and cabbage rolls on stewing. do not get scared, always such knocked out come out. in a saucepan en gas never such meyan did not work.

but the porridge mode - here you need to watch. if this is wheat, then this program is normally enough. the porridge comes out very tasty. if buckwheat, then in the "porridge" mode, 30 minutes is enough for me to be ready, then I forcibly turn it off.
I cook rice on the "rice" program. great too.
add 1 scoop of cereal to 2 water.

py-sy. I was very unhappy with the purchase of this multi at the beginning. and now this is my lifesaver and daily helper.

Hello girls, have a nice weekend and great mood, :-) :-) I bought this cartoon for my daughter as I wrote above, she had an operation on her eyes, but she wants to eat :-) :-) Well, I decided to test it, in the end I gave mine, but this one is still idle, all the modes are too high for her, she cooked everything seething without stopping several times, mostly cooked porridge and the stewing mode a couple of times, stewed meat, in general I will play more, once again, you need to try baking, well, something like that, I have experience :-) but I'm not happy with the programs :-) :-)
Mirabel
lettohka ttt, I agree with Manna, maybe you have something wrong with it.
Exactly, exactly, as Ira-na put out, at first it boils well (if we switch from Frying) and then the pace evens out and it turns out super cool!
In general, I repeat, try Masha's soup, bread, yogurt and cabbage rolls in it (I gave the links above). If it doesn't work out .... let's not talk about it. Everything will turn out great!

Thank you Vikochka, I will still test it until my hands reach it, of course we need to try all the options, but we are impatient, we just throw it in the distance :-) :-) and thanks to your website, I have so many toys, and how am I used to live :-) :-) thank you all, everyone is so friendly !!! Good afternoon to the forum participants, they really liked all the recipes and tips. I have the same model of a multicooker, I have been using it actively for 2 months, I tried all the modes - everything turns out very tasty, there were no problems with baking, I baked a pie with fish according to Marina Petrushenko's recipes and a charlotte with apples, I bake at 120 for 45 minutes, nothing does not burn and everything is baked, the light top does not particularly upset, I made meat in French, too, according to Marina's recipes, potatoes stuffed with mushrooms, buckwheat porridge according to merchants, all the dishes were obtained, the only thing that did not make it was soup, I cook the first courses on the stove for me personally) and did not find a common language with the pilaf program, it did not disconnect itself after 40 minutes, although the pilaf was already ready for a long time, I turned it off forcibly, I will try it with pilaf, it may turn out to understand how the program still works, cartoon I'm very happy with my

These recipes are not a dogma, but an option for cooking in a Philips multicooker.
Do not be afraid to experiment and fantasize, change proportions,
add new ingredients to dishes, because everyone has their own taste.
When preparing cereals and cereals, use the proportions indicated on the packaging of the cereal manufacturer, since cereals have different cooking times depending on the processing.
If the recipe says about frying, then it is more convenient to do it with the lid open, and only close it when moving to the next stage.
A typo was found in the Scandinavian Pea Soup recipe on page 7. Please use the "Put out" function instead of the "Cook" function.
On page 12 in the Naval Pasta recipe, when setting the time for the Steam function, please use the pasta cooking time indicated on the pasta maker's pack.

On Saturday I bought a multicooker, with a good discount, there was one in the store, and even from the window, they offered not to take this one, but arrange home delivery, so that it was new and sealed from the warehouse. In general, they brought it to me after 23.00. It was clear that there was no time for preparations. But in the morning, I decided to cook something.
To begin with, I found a recipe book in the box and then a separately enclosed mini-booklet with one recipe "Frozen Cherry Pie" I decided to start with it. Required: 4 eggs, 1 and 1/4 multi-glasses of sugar (about 200 g) + 4 tablespoons on the bottom, butter for lubricating the form 10 g, 1 and 1/4 flour (about 200 g), vanilla sugar to taste, baking powder 1 tbsp ... spoon, frozen cherries 500 gr (but I put about 2 glasses). Then everything is according to the recipe, to the bottom of 4 tablespoons of sugar, cherries, but not all, beat the eggs with a mixer, add all the sugar and punch until foam, vanilla, flour, baking powder. Add the remaining frozen cherries to the dough and mix. We pour everything into the mold. We close the lid. Press "bake / oven" default time is 45 minutes. The temperature is 150 degrees (but for the future I think to reduce it to 130 and it would be worth adding time). That's all. As a result, the sugar poured into the bottom turned into caramel but burned slightly, but in general the dough was baked perfectly and fit, the crumb is very soft. Compared to the baking attempts in my Philips HD9016 bread maker, this is heaven and earth. It doesn't work there. The multicooker pleased me.

Then I immediately washed the bowl and started cooking pilaf
According to a recipe from a book, complete with a multicooker. After reading reviews on various forums and here, I decided, but worried that pilaf would not work.
It turned out to be as easy as shelling pears for a first grader.
I will not repeat the recipe in everyone's books, but during the preparation I had to change something. The entire frying process was carried out with the lid open. He took pork meat. The recipe says 15 minutes on the "Fry" program, I did just that, but to my surprise, the meat practically barely warmed up and was completely pale and damp, and 15 minutes had elapsed. Then I pressed the "Stop" button And set the "fry" again and the time was 26 minutes (I wanted 25 minutes, but it was not provided to return the minutes back, so as not to clap until the end of the hour, I left it as it is - 26 minutes). For the future, I will immediately set 35 minutes for frying meat and vegetables. I started the slow cooker, the meat was fried well in 10 minutes until golden brown, stirring it evenly, while I chopped 2 onions and 2 carrots. Then he added onions and after 5-8 minutes carrots, then spices for pilaf and butter 5 tbsp. spoons. I closed the lid 5 minutes before the end of the time. And when the time has expired 1 tbsp. a spoonful of salt (then I still had to add about 1 tsp.) Rice 2 multi-glasses washed and thrown on a sieve. Freshly boiled water 4 multi-glasses, as measured in the recipe. I poured the rice into a bowl, poured all the water, mixed, added 3 cloves of unpeeled garlic, drowned it. I pressed the program "Plov" I closed the lid and pressed "Start". Snakes started running on the display, there was no time counting, as provided by the recipe. 10 minutes before the end, everything will be displayed on the screen. And that's it, gone for 45 minutes. Ka registered the signal and opened the lid, the pilaf turned out to be simply gorgeous. I poured it out of the bowl in order to see if the bottom was burnt. Everything is super, not a single rice is burnt.

Thank you for the recipe for the cherry pie, I did not have one in the kit, I will definitely cook it, it looks great, the pilaf, as I understand it, needs to be left and be patient not to touch it until the program itself stops, the time appears on the display when the pilaf is ready
Manna
The mode for pilaf is touch-based. The timing starts when the liquid has evaporated and drying / frying has started.
The principle of the program is similar to what I described in THIS recipe (there is a video, maybe it will help).

We just had dinner with my pilaf, it turns out about 4 good portions, if a family of 2 people will have dinner tomorrow. The taste is simply indescribable. For all the years of my cooking pilaf, and these were different options, and in cauldrons, and in glass pans, and in ceramic, both on fire and in the oven, I think over 20 years of home cooking, 200 times came up. I can say, such delicious pilaf as in a multicooker 3036, I have not eaten yet. Both rice and meat melt in your mouth. The fat is pleasant, not just fat, but just sweet nectar. I am very pleased with the purchase.

w.lookCould you write a recipe for pilaf ...

Pilaf from the Philips multicooker recipe book Suitable for all Philips multicooker

Difficulty: medium
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Quantity: 4 servings

Ingredients:
Beef or lamb(but you can take pork as I did above) - 500 gr.
Rice - 2 measuring cups (360 grams)
Water - 4 measuring cups (720 ml)
Bulb onions - 2 pcs.
Carrots - 2 pcs.
Garlic - 3 cloves
Sunflower oil, odorless or olive oil - 5 tbsp. l.
Zira - 1 tsp l or "spices for pilaf"
Salt, pepper to taste

Book preparation method (I described the changes made in my recipe above):

Cut the meat into cubes and place in a container. Press the MENU button and select the FRY function.
Set the COOKING TIME to 15 minutes using the minute button. (I made a change, 35 minutes)
Press START.
Stir occasionally to brown the meat on all sides. In 5 minutes (in my version 25 minutes), add butter, chopped onions, and then carrots)
Salt and add 1 tsp cumin. (In my version, the spice for pilaf "Color Aroma" without monosodium glutamate, in the powder is ground: turmeric, coriander, paprika, barberry, black pepper, savory, cumin, red pepper, dried parsley, basil, allspice 1 tbsp. L)
Rinse the rice and pour over the meat with vegetables. Stick in 3 cloves of garlic.
Fill everything with water. (In my version, boiling water)
Press the MENU button and select the FLOOR function. START.

Mirabel

w.look, Tomorrow I will cook your pilaf. In general, pilaf with pork ... how to put it mildly .. but still I will do it with this meat.
The question is ripe, so you fried meat without oil? Was it added before laying vegetables?
Mirabel
I cooked pilaf. Edible, nothing more. Of course, pork does not fit here in any way, even then chicken is better. And, as it seems to me, this cooking technology is not "floating"
w.lookIn any case, thanks again for the explanations and people who have not tasted the real Uzbek pilaf may well be to their liking. The meat is soft, rice to rice, as if it were not porridge with meat, but also not pilaf.

Stewed funchose.

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

Ingredients:
1. Packing funchose (vermicelli made from green beans) - 200 g. Attention - if you replace it with rice vermicelli, the taste and time of setting will be different.
2. Chicken fillet - 1 breast without skin - about 400 g.
3. Onions - 150 g (in the original recipe 300 g, but I don't like a lot of onions.)
4. Carrots - 150 g (in the original recipe 300 g, but I'm not very good at carrots either)
5. In the original recipe, bell pepper - 300 g (I don't put it at all - my family doesn't like it)
6. Vegetable oil - 20-25 g - this is about 2 tablespoons.
7. Salt - 1 flat teaspoon - we love lightly salted, so add if necessary.
8. Water - 500 ml.
9. Spices to taste. I don’t put anything - we like it better.

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

We cut the chicken breasts into pieces of about 1 cm x 1 cm x 2 cm, but this is not important, the main thing is that the pieces are not large, then they will boil well and mix well with the finished noodles.
Three carrots on a coarse grater.
We cut the onion in your favorite way (rings, half rings, straws, squares - as your heart desires).

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

We put onions, carrots, chicken, oil, water, salt, spices, in general, everything except funchose and pour water into the multicooker bowl. Mix thoroughly, you get such a seductive mixture:

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

We close the lid, turn on the extinguishing mode for 1 hour. On any timer (telephone, microwave, etc.), I keep track of the time 48 minutes. When the timer signal sounds (and the extinguishing mode will still go on for 12 minutes), I open the lid of the multicooker, push apart the chicken pieces and insert the funchose nests.

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

With a silicone spatula, I gently turn over and move the nests until they become evenly wetted to us (this takes 1-2 minutes). You can break the nests, and then it will be much more convenient in the future to mix and eat. However, my husband is firmly convinced that the longer the vermicelli, the tastier it is. Therefore, I get it like this:

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

Then we close the lid of the multicooker (we have another 10 minutes) and go to set the table. After 10 minutes, the toon calls and we turn it off. Open the lid and mix gently. Funchoza completely absorbs all liquid. She herself does not have a pronounced taste and takes on the aroma of what it was cooked in or the sauce with which it is served. As a result, in the bowl it turns out like this:

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

From 1 package of funchose, about 4 servings are obtained for an adult (my husband - 3, I can divide it into 5 parts). We love these slightly rubbery taddles))) I really hope that someone will find this recipe useful.
