Stylish design. The only thing is too big for my desktop. The set is not bad: a multi-glass, a spatula, a small pouring spoon and two silicone gloves. Unfortunately, in the photo there are no longer native mittens, the son took his own. Specifications HERE
The Philips HD3036 multicooker has 11 modes
Rice, buckwheat, pilaf, porridge, boil, stew, fry, yoghurt, warm up, oven, steam.

I looked at the reviews on the Internet, they are different. Several people have written about the imperfection of the recipe book included with the multicooker. It was with them that I decided to start testing.
Today I cooked chicken in sour cream mustard sauce. I had a turkey.
ingredients:
poultry fillet - 300g
Sour cream -200g
mushrooms - 200g
French mustard - 2 tsp
olive oil - 2 tablespoons spoons
garlic - 2 cloves
salt, pepper, spices to taste
but forgot to put sour cream on the table
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
pieces of meat fried in vegetable oil for 15 minutes with the lid open, stirring occasionally
this is how the meat looks at the beginning
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
and so after 10 minutes
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
I added chopped mushrooms and garlic, in addition to champignons, I had a handful of newly hatched chanterelles
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
the result of frying products pleased
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
added mustard sour cream, mixed
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
then put the multicooker in the stewing mode. Instead of the 15 minutes suggested by the recipe, I put 25, because I had a turkey thigh fillet and, I think, I need more time for stewing than chicken. The turkey turned out to be very juicy, tasty and beautiful, the smell was excellent in the kitchen.

steamed potatoes for a side dish. Fill the multicooker pan 1/3 with water, turn on the "Steam cooking" program for 30 minutes (I don't know how to set 25 minutes yet). While the water is heating, peel the potatoes, cut them lengthwise into 2 parts, put in a double boiler, salt, put in a saucepan and wait until the program is ready or the end of the program. I usually cook steamed potatoes for 22-25 minutes from the moment they boil. The multicooker starts counting down as soon as the water boils.

And here is the result. The first pancake is not lumpy at all. Delicious.

Today I cooked oatmeal for breakfast. It so happened that I had a can of condensed milk without sugar. I asked my husband to buy condensed milk, the fact that it was sugar-free, it turned out only after opening the can, if my memory serves me, before such milk was called concentrated. But be that as it may, it was necessary to urgently attach this milk somewhere.
Concentrated milk - 300ml
Water - 700ml
Oatmeal - 2 multi-cups without top
Salt to taste
Butter - to taste

Pour the oatmeal into a saucepan, season with salt, pour milk and water on top. Stir. Close the lid, set the "Milk porridge" program
The minimum cooking time for porridge with this program is 1 hour. I forcibly turned off after 30 minutes. The porridge turned out to be wonderful. I specially followed the cooking process, because in the reviews it was sometimes found that it was difficult to cook porridge, the milk was running away. This may happen if the milk is not diluted. I always dilute milk, but for the sake of experiment, I will try to cook it in pure milk without water.
Oil, on the advice of a doctor, I add only to a plate.

After two days of using the Philips HD3036 multicooker, there were pros and cons.
A plus - "Stew" program with a good step of cooking time from 30 minutes, and then the time can be increased even by the minute.
Minus - The program "Porridge" with an unexpectedly long start time, from 1 hour.In my opinion, it is not always required and not always there is so much time to cook porridge. And to monitor the state of readiness of the porridge and the time for the forced shutdown is like cooking in a regular saucepan.

Today for lunch I stewed pork in vegetable sauce.
pork - 800g
Tomatoes - 400g
Bulgarian pepper -1pc
Bulb onions -2pcs
parsley - to taste
garlic - 1 clove
vegetable oil -3 tablespoons
salt - to taste
sugar -1 tsp

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil for 10 minutes
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Put the chopped meat on the onion.
Coarsely chop the tomatoes, parsley, crush the garlic with a knife and chop a little
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
put in a chopper
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
and literally in 3 seconds we get a wonderful sauce
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Put the sauce on the meat with onions, salt, add sugar, pepper and stir
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Extinguishing mode for 1 hour. The pork is ready
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
I cooked rice for a side dish, strictly according to the instructions in the book. The result is a wonderful rice. I think the existing negative reviews about the Rice program are related to a violation of technology.

And here is the result, which we are very happy with

A very simple cabbage pie once found at Olga Ginger's. Just outrageously:
Sauerkraut with pickle-0.5kg
eggs -2pcs
sugar-2 tbsp. spoons
flour - 210-220g
melted butter -100g
baking powder 10g
any greens to taste, but I wanted a handful of dry porcini mushrooms

Put the mushrooms in a bowl, add water and put in the microwave for 9-10 minutes. Wash, cut into cubes.
Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix well and put in a multicooker saucepan, previously greased with vegetable oil. Bake for 120 minutes at 180 degrees. Well, the whole process is in photos.

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
I have been using a multicooker for many years, but I have never confused an oven with a multicooker. And today ... well, as they say, there is a hole in the old woman.
And the multicooker has nothing to do with it, it's my mistake. This pie with a lot of heavy, moisture-containing products, and just with brine, is exclusively for the oven. But negative experiences are experiences too.
Luysia
Tanya, please write down all the modes of this multicooker. The photo is not very visible.

And the pork in the sauce!

Honey cake
Dough:
wheat flour -350g
honey -5 tablespoons
sugar - 270g
baking powder -1 teaspoon
eggs -5pcs
salt pin
Cream:
sour cream 20% - 0.5kg
icing sugar -220g
roasted, ground nuts - 4-5 tablespoons
finely chopped prunes and infused in cognac -100g

Butter for bowl lubrication
sour cream for coating the cake ~ 2 tablespoons
almond petals

Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy light weight
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Continuing to beat, add flour, sifted with baking powder and salt, honey, bring the dough to a homogeneous state. It turns out the dough, like for pancakes
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Grease the multicooker bowl with butter, cover the bottom with baking paper
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Pour the dough into the prepared bowl, dial the baking program, temperature 180 degrees. I set the time to 1 hour. checked readiness after 50 minutes. The biscuit was ready. I think I should have checked 5 minutes earlier. The bottom of the biscuit, in my opinion, is a little dark.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
While the biscuit is cooling, prepare the cream.
To do this, manually mix sour cream with powdered sugar, then add nuts and prunes. You can do without nuts with prunes. It's a matter of taste. Yes, in fact, you can make any caviar.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
When the biscuit has cooled, cut it into as many cakes as possible, from three to six. I have them 4. Smear with cream.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Gather the base of the cake and refrigerate for several hours. It is best to bring the cake to mind before serving, because, in my opinion, a cake that has stood for several hours in the refrigerator with almonds and fruits loses its presentation. Smear the cake with sour cream on top. In any case, covering the cake with cream with filling is not beautiful. After the cake is coated with sour cream, sprinkle it with almond petals. And decorate as you wish.

Stewed cabbage.
Cabbage
onion
vegetable oil
butter
salt pepper

Peel a couple of onions, chop and fry on the "Fry" program with the lid open for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. At the end of frying, put a small piece of ~ 30g butter on the onion.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
During this time, prepare the cabbage, chop not very finely, add salt and squeeze slightly. Put cabbage on ready-made onion, mix, put on Stew. Close the lid.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
I thought to stew for about 20 minutes, but the walk with the dog dragged on, so the cabbage was stewed for 32 minutes.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
the photo shows abundant juice. And although the cabbage was almost ready, I left open the lid and switched to the Fry program, for 10 minutes. The result is a delicious stewed cabbage.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
I put the cabbage into a container, which I put in the refrigerator an hour later.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Today we had an absolutely wonderful dinner, sausages with stewed cabbage, very tasty

How did I understand that you can change the temperature on baking?
celfh
You can set the temperature, but you cannot change it during baking. Well, perhaps, if you turn it off forcibly, and set the Baking program again and set a different temperature.
Masinen
What is the temperature range?
celfh
Temperature modes: 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180 degrees.
Masinen
Very interesting, I will follow your topic)) baking impressed me with temperature conditions.
Have you tried the oven without baking paper, well, put the dough straight into the bowl?

No, I haven't tried it yet, but there are plans ...

You can take not sauerkraut, but young, but it will be a completely different pie. The forum has recipes for casseroles with simple cabbage. for example Cabbage charlotte

Yes, I've seen other recipes. I was interested in this question in principle. It is clear that the taste will be different.

Steamed brisket
Pork brisket -1kg
garlic 2 medium heads
black or red pepper
salt -2 rounded tablespoons
bay leaf - 3pcs
coriander
or ready-made spice set
Cut the brisket into large pieces, stuff with garlic, mix the spices with salt and chopped bay leaves and rub the brisket thoroughly. I simplified this process and used a ready-made set of spices for lard, after rubbing the brisket with salt

Pour 4.5-5 glasses of water into the multicooker bowl. Put the brisket in a roasting sleeve, tie, pierce a couple of small holes with a toothpick. Place the package in a steamer container. But that was theory.
In fact, in between watching and listening to TV, talking with the dog and my husband, I neatly folded the sleeveless meat into the steamer, safely placed the container in the multicooker bowl,
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
I set the cooking program to steam, time 60 minutes and went about my business.
I remembered about the sleeve exactly one hour later, when I opened the lid of the multicooker.
It was already impossible to change anything, so I, as expected, left the brisket to cool in a slow cooker. In the morning I put it in a container and put it in the refrigerator, kept it in the refrigerator for two days. It is possible for a day. The result is great. Delicious, homemade brisket, very aromatic.

celfh
Zhen, I also received the recipe by mailing, though in a baking bag, but as you can see, it cost

The package, as I believe, is needed so that meat, bacon, etc., etc. during cooking, is soaked in its own juices.

The stuffed cabbage rolls are lazy.
minced meat - 500g
boiled rice - 100g
White cabbage -200g.
salt pepper
Sauce
Tomato sauce -0.5 cups
Mayonnaise -1st. the spoon
Boiled water -300ml
greens at will
flour for breading
Vegetable oil for frying

Cut the cabbage not very finely, pour boiling water over, let it brew for 10-15 minutes. This is necessary not only so that the bitterness would go away and the cabbage becomes softer, but also so that the formed cabbage rolls keep their shape well.
Then drain the water, squeeze the cabbage, put all the ingredients in a bowl.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
stir, salt, pepper
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Shape cabbage rolls and breaded them in flour
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
And so-after
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Something I missed the process of making the sauce. But this is not scary, everything is very simple: mix all the ingredients and pour the cabbage rolls, add salt and pepper if necessary. Then the stewing program is 1 hour.
As a result, wonderful, juicy, tasty cabbage rolls.

Sorrel soup
meat
potatoes
carrot
bulb onions
sorrel
boiled eggs
vegetable oil for frying
sour cream

Dice the onion, coarsely grate the carrots, fry the vegetables in a small amount of vegetable oil in the Fry with the lid open program. While the onions are fried, peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and after the vegetables are fried, put the potatoes and meat in the multicooker bowl. Meat - this, of course, is loudly said, I had chicken bones left after cutting the breast fillets and pieces of pork, I don't even remember why they were cut.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
Pour hot water over the contents of a saucepan.
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036

Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
She cleaned the bones from the meat, returned the meat to the pan, added chopped sorrel, herbs, salt, pepper and turned on the Cooking mode for 5 minutes. What I regretted later. Literally a minute later, the soup began to boil and boil in full force. So far I do not know why I will use this mode in the future, but when preparing soup, it is better to add everything that we usually add at the end 5 minutes before the end of the Stew program. But, be that as it may, from the fact that the soup boiled, the taste did not deteriorate. The soup turned out to be very tasty

Korean carrots - 50g

onion -1pc
apple -0.5pcs
mashed tomatoes -150g
medium pickled cucumbers - 4pcs

Rub the tomatoes in a blender, pour a little cold water into the sour cream, grated tomatoes and pour the meat with this sauce, so that the sauce barely covers the meat. Baked pork knuckle
Shank -1pc
salt, pepper to taste
onion -1pc
carrots -1 pc
mayonnaise -1st. the spoon
mustard -1st. the spoon
honey-1 st. the spoon
vegetable oil -2st. spoons

Clean the shank, wash, dry with a paper towel. Since the shank was not previously marinated, I mixed salt and ground pepper, added a drop of vegetable oil, mixed it and put this mixture directly by hand into the shank in 3 places at the cut. Prepare a sauce with mayonnaise, bitterness and honey. Coat the shank with this sauce.
Chop the onion and carrot. I put a baking mat in the multicooker bowl solely so as not to scratch, you don't have to. At the bottom she poured 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, laid out onions and carrots, prepared shank on top. I set the program to fry for 10 minutes.

Today I cooked pilaf. Strictly following the recipe from the multicooker book. There are already a lot of conflicting reviews on this multicooker program: whoever did not eat more delicious pilaf, someone has porridge with porridge. But, I'll make a reservation right away, my opinion is not objective, in principle I do not understand what pilaf in a slow cooker is. And it doesn't matter which multicooker is from, for me a multicooker and pilaf are simply not compatible.
Did everything strictly according to the recipe, the valve is in the "open" position. I cooked with pork, because we went to the store early, neither beef nor lamb was chopped yet, and there was no time to wait. Basmati rice for pilaf is extra long.
meat -500g
rice - 2m / glass
onion -2pcs
carrots -2pcs
