I apologize for your persistence, that is, from evening to morning you cook porridge? on the water? and remain in the "heating" mode until the morning?
Irina Kalush
I cook in the evening, and in the morning I heat it up, I must try this mode sometime

Especially for you, I will do it tomorrow or after tomorrow.
In fact, I have no such need. Quite the opposite. The morning is very early and rich, it is much more convenient for me to warm up the prepared porridge in a micra.

сelfh, thank you very much !!! Cooking rice in MV is the first dish I've tasted. And it really turned out exactly as you did. Delicious. Then for 7 minutes on both sides I fried seasoned and salted pieces of (rather large) chicken with the lid open, then I stewed this chicken for 20 minutes with the lid closed. I lubricated the bottom with oil quite a bit and the chicken turned out in its own juice, VERY juicy, in a frying pan (Tseptor) it didn't work for me (either newbies are lucky, or it will always be so - I don't know yet). Boiled rice was poured into the Chicken, warmed up a little and O-la-la !!! the dish is ready !! Mine really liked it.
My second dish was chicken breast. I salted it, rubbed it with spices, poured it with white wine (3 spoons exactly) and placed it in the MV for 20 minutes in the "oven" mode at a temperature of 120 degrees with the skin down (slightly greased the bottom with oil). After 20 minutes I turned the chicken over - and for another 20 minutes in the "oven" mode, though I had already raised the temperature to 150, because it seemed to me that the crust was not too baked. After 15 minutes, I poked my nose into the MV (I still doubted if I set the temperature too high), and realized that 150 degrees is still a bit too much, but I didn't stir up the temperature, but just turned the breast to the other side. After 5 minutes, the breast was ready. It was baked amazingly, it turned out delicious, although not as juicy as chicken pieces when stewing. Mine were rated "excellent". But I concluded that the temperature still needs to be picked up, it's a pity that you can't set it to 130 or 140, for example.
My third dish is potatoes. I peeled the potatoes, cut the large ones so that they were the same size as the small ones, put them in the MB, and added small pieces of chicken fillet, onions and carrots there. Salted and poured hot water, so that the water only covered the potatoes. I put it on for 40 minutes to simmer. I wanted to get stewed potatoes, well, or boiled. Got a soup .. Absolutely clear, delicious soup. The potatoes did not fall apart at all. Excellent, so it can be cooked deliciously in the "stewing" mode. I continued the experiment. I decided to try to evaporate the water. I put pilaf for 40 minutes. Water, during this time almost did not boil away at all, the potatoes did not fall apart. So you need to stew somehow wrong ... I'll experiment another time .. What happened in the end turned out to be very tasty too. Cartoon Well done !!!

These were all my experiments yesterday. There is no strength for today. And the question of delayed cooking of rice and buckwheat is still open. That is, if you put these cereals to cook in the evening and go to bed, by the morning because of the constantly operating "heating" mode, will they not dry out and will they not burn? And if you put on a delayed start (7-8 hours, for example), in a ratio of 1/2, they will not burn out in 40 minutes, because they will have time to absorb all the water by the beginning of cooking. This is, in fact, the most pressing question for me.After all, my MV was bought specifically for my student son, who, if he cooks porridge in the evening, will certainly forget to turn it off, and in the morning he simply will not cook. So, Celfh, I really, really, really hope for your experience and your help.

Spljushkayou did a great job
And I, as promised, cooked oatmeal in milk with a delayed start. Report with photos in the evening

Especially for you, I will do it tomorrow or after tomorrow.
As promised. Yesterday evening I put milk oatmeal with a delayed start. I had to read a lot of reviews about the confused delayed start. It is not true. Everything is very clear and simple written. Literally the following: install the desired program and set the time after which you want to receive the finished product. Everything, not any problems. I threw 2 m / cups of oatmeal into a saucepan, salted, poured a liter of liquid (milk-water 1: 1). I closed the lid, set the Porridge program, adjusted the cooking time, set 1 hour. then pressed the Delay start button, set the time before start of breakfast 7 hours 30 minutes. For some reason I was worried that the milk would turn sour, and I would be left without breakfast)))
I woke up as always at five in the morning, but did not go to the kitchen, test, so test, the pot should cook for another 20 minutes)) I went to the cartoon at the signal to finish the work. Well, then no comment)))

well, somewhere like that. But the saucepan withstood the delayed start with dignity

Maybe that's why the milk ran away, and the porridge was fried? After all, you used to have milk porridge (not on a delay) well.
celfh
Mila, so I did not cook them for an hour. Forcibly disabled the program.
Lud-Mil @
A-ahh, yeah. Then you need to put on a postponement with the expectation of waking up in order to wake up and immediately turn it off. It's a shame, of course, that the program works so absurdly, it doesn't burn out in an hour. Right now I’m just eating oatmeal (from cereals), it’s been cooking for an hour and a half, it could have been longer, it didn’t burn out and didn’t run away.
Yes, with the escape of milk it is still not clear why it suddenly rushed to run ...

Tatyana, It’s a pity that it happened with the porridge in the morning, but I’m surprised that Philips can run away milk. I have had this slow cooker for over a year, I cook only milk porridge, desserts and pastries in it. I cook milk porridge in milk very often at a delayed start, I never even tried to escape, I even began to creep in the suspicion that the milk was not boiling there at all, and now I see that it is boiling.
I think that oatmeal is to blame, it has a habit of foaming a lot when it boils.
celfh
natalia27maybe oatmeal is to blame. Next time I'll try to cook rice. Let's see what happens

The next porridge is buckwheat

Phillips coped with buckwheat porridge brilliantly. Although I was worried more than about oatmeal, well, for the simple reason that if something went wrong with the porridge, my husband would have been left without breakfast. I had to put buckwheat early enough. Therefore, the delayed time is -8 hours 20 minutes. The proportions are usual, buckwheat-water 1: 2,
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
I woke up almost an hour earlier. Intellectually, I understand that buckwheat can "reach" in cold water,
Testing multicooker Philips HD3036
what actually happened, buckwheat swelled, it looks like buckwheat after eight hours of lying in the water. Buckwheat has a completely ready-made look

Tatyana, it's a good porridge. Thanks for the tests on cooking buckwheat on a delayed start, now I will also cook. Even at the delayed start, I make an omelet, it turns out very well.

Natasha, please lay out the recipe and the whole process
natalia27
Tatyana, the recipe is usual - for one egg, half a shell from an egg of milk or homemade yogurt, salt, and, if desired, various additives. I grease the bowl with butter, you can put a piece of butter on the bottom, mix the eggs with milk, not beating much, pour into the bowl and Bake mode for 20 minutes. If you put on a delayed start, then the milk and eggs should be cold.
celfh
I cooked milk rice porridge with a start delay of 8 hours. For 2 multi-glasses of round rice, I took 0.5 liters of milk and 0.7 water. Everything worked out great. Except for one thing - she shamelessly slept, and did not turn off the cartoon at seven in the morning. I walked the dog at half past five, I think I'll lie down a little longer, I woke up at about nine in the morning, the porridge was hopelessly standing on the heat. But I still had breakfast))

We also experimented with buckwheat porridge and a delayed start for 8 hours. Just in case, we took a ratio of 1: 3. It turned out superbly simple !!! And I also tried to cook pilaf twice. And he never turned off for me either after 40 or 50 minutes. The husband called the service center, the master told him that this is normal, they say that not all the moisture has evaporated. But after fifty minutes my pilaf began to stick to the bottom ... I don't know what the problem is yet. Maybe it’s that I rub the carrots on the finest grater, and since there is naturally a lot of moisture in the cartoon does not recognize readiness? .. Or maybe the pilaf does not need to be stirred until it’s cooked?
Spljushka
celfh, I found your post about pilaf. You wrote there that the pilaf was ready in an hour and twenty. Did you turn it off yourself or did it turn off like that? On the cartoon, when you press the "pilaf" button, the cooking time is written - 40 minutes ... Either I am not looking or I am doing the wrong thing ...
Irina Kalush
I finished watching something on pilaf and other functions ... it cooks for 40 minutes, but while the multicooker heats up ... or the water boils ... this time must also be taken into account

Somewhere at the beginning of the Temka they wrote that there was no difference except for the size of the bowl.

Girls Hello! Help me deal with this slow cooker :) First of all, I have a question - should the baked top be baked? Who says what, I just don't bake it, although the dough is baked.
Vitaminо4ka
So I baked yesterday for the first time a charlotte from the recipe book and this is its top. It will not be roasted like in the oven.
But if you want, you can then turn the pastries upside down for 5-10 minutes and bake the top.

I tried to make meat in French in a slow cooker, put it on the Oven mode at 150 degrees for 1 hour, so my meat burned out from below And in a normal oven everything works out great.
celfh
alij, the top is not baked, unless you can turn it over if possible)) Well, or close the top with all kinds of sprinkles, powdered sugar, etc.

Vitaminо4ka, very beautiful charlotte
And for meat ... the temperature should be set significantly lower. And you decided to make meat in a slow cooker for the sake of experiment?

Thanks for the feedback about the charlotte. By the way, I ate it in almost a day.
And meat for the sake of experiment, it was necessary somehow to get acquainted with the cartoon.
I made potatoes with chicken on the Stew mode. It turned out to be delicious, the main thing the daughter ate is the main indicator,
celfh
Vitalina, I asked about meat, because I always use a slow cooker for cooking porridge, stewing, broth can be cooked, jellied meat, etc., etc. in purely "oven" dishes, I don't even try to cook in a multitude
Mirabel
Girls! I am thinking of buying such a multi. very interested in the Yogurt mode. I was planning to buy a yogurt maker, and then the stars agreed that it was more profitable to buy a slow cooker with a yogurt function.
I ran through the Temko and did not find anything about him.
Please tell me how this function works? urgently needed. if I don’t order it before the morning, the discount will end.
celfh
Vika, unfortunately, I did not cook yogurt in this cartoon. ((
Ma_LiNka
I make yogurt periodically. Always great. The main thing is to pick up the cups, although you can cook right in the bowl.
Mirabel
OO excellent! I ordered it yesterday, I hope they will bring it next week.

Ma_LiNka, And what cups are needed there? do you mean the size?
Mirabel
My beauty has arrived! : yahoo: so stylish, so many programs and the quality of the multi is great!
Today there was no strength for testing. But tomorrow we'll start making friends with her.
Ma_LiNka
Yes, I mean size. Glass jars are best. Plastic is also possible, but see that the material is of high quality. I bought it, and after a few times they started to smell
Well, congratulations on purchasing a little assistant! Let it serve for a long time, feed it tasty!
MALINANALINA
The recipes are amazing, I wrapped it, of course, in the wrong place. But I think I'll figure it out, the main thing is savvy, and I'll adapt it for my multi (redmond) Thank you for sharing your recipes, and do not keep them secret!
Mirabel
Tomorrow I will start cooking in a new beauty. And I can't figure out the valve. Should it be closed or open while cooking?
In my opinion, you need to open it in order to rinse it, and cook it closed. Help!
celfh
The valve must be closed.
Mirabel
Tatyana, Thank you! Yesterday I cooked buckwheat with meat according to your recipe. Happened
And the night put yogurt. Everything is fine too!
happy!

What a pity that no one comes to Temka ...
Yesterday I cooked a soup according to the Masha-Masinen recipe, it turned out very tasty! But the program Soup is definitely abnormal, boils terribly, switched to Extinguishing after 10 minutes of such a rampage.
But in general, I am very happy with the multicooker!
