Girls, good evening. I'm going to you for advice. How is yogurt good in this slow cooker? And the milk does not escape during cooking? I just have no time to read the whole topic, I already ordered the cartoon in the store (with a discount)), pick it up tomorrow, and I suddenly started to doubt. In general, I have no more than 16 hours to think about it.
Rarerka
I'm on Yoghurt and put all the sour milk in it. Milk never ran away
Swetie
Ludmila, Thank you. I really need it as a cooker and a cereal cooker. Well, and also a casserole or a lush omelette to drive away. Otherwise, in a large multicooker, not an omelet, but a pancake
Rarerka
so I, too, that's why I took her
And I have no regrets, the baby is smart!
Swetie
I'll take it then, since she's a smart girl.

Hello girls!
Yesterday I bought a small saucepan 01.
Today I wanted to make crumbly buckwheat.
I measured everything according to the recipe from the book.
I greased the bowl with butter and a strange smell alerted me.

I washed the bowl with soap last night. The bowl itself seems to be odorless.
Since the 12th year I have been using Bork for 3 liters.
I don't remember exactly, but it seems there was a recommendation to drive it out before starting operation
mule in self-cleaning mode.

Redmond has no recommendations other than washing everything with a mild detergent.

I am waiting for advice from experienced users of a small saucepan.
Wildebeest
Petrovich5523, here on the forum there was a tip: boil the rice and throw it away. Then rinse the bowl and you can start the main cooking.

Thank you girls for responding quickly.

Unfortunately, there is no lemon.
I put rice to cook.
Mixed smell of rice and plastic in the kitchen

While I was writing, a saucepan boiled rice.
The rice looks crumbly.
Didn't try, flushed it down the toilet.

The neighbors gave me a lemon. Now I sit and think
but will I not spoil the "porridge with butter" if I also cook lemon compote?

I threw away the first portion of the porridge, then the beans, like a mixture of phenol with the smell of beans - br. br ..
Then again I washed, boiled, cooked rice porridge, buckwheat, cutlets (it turned out to be dietary), I don't remember what else, I had a cartoon as a gift for testing. At the end, I boiled potatoes twice, washed them and put them in a package. After 10 days, before taking the multicooker as a gift, I opened it, I thought it would smell like food. No! It smelled very strongly of paint ... I regret that I bought it without carefully reading the reviews.I have a pot and a frying pan with ceramics, but there are no smells and there weren't, and there shouldn't be.
Albina
Arinna, maybe you are very sensitive to odors, but I've been using cartoons for 3-4 years and I'm happy. Only at the beginning I boiled lemon water and set off.
Admin

I, too, have no complaints about the smell of the baby I have been using it for 3-4 years, as soon as they appeared on sale
Sedne
Albina, I am not sensitive, but this slow cooker smells very well and the smell does not get out, but my bowl itself smells creepy, not a slow cooker.
Admin

Then, together we go read the topic Taste and smell are always individual for each person!
M @ rtochka
I even bought a spare bowl and I'm using it safely, it doesn't smell.

Without hesitation, he polished the bowl with a lemon.
I washed it.
Wiped dry.
Sniffed. I did not feel a parasitic smell.
I put the crumbly buckwheat to cook according to the prescription book.

On Borok I have my own buckwheat recipe.
INGREDIENTS.
1. Buckwheat groats - 2 measuring cups.
2. Water - 4 measuring cups.
3. Salt - 7 gr.
4. Sugar - 5 gr.
5. Butter - 20 gr.

COOKING.
Sort buckwheat, rinse with cold water.
Washed cereals in a separate container (deep pan)
pour cold water three fingers above the cereal level.
Drain off the water after two hours. Pour the groats into the multicooker bowl
and pour in 4 measuring glasses of the expressed water.
Add salt and sugar. butter.
Cooking in the "Buckwheat" mode.

Porridge is cooked in the evening before bedtime
and leave to languish at a temperature of 80 degrees until the morning.
In the morning for breakfast, always delicious, crumbly, tender buckwheat.

He left a new saucepan with buckwheat on the heating until morning.

Hello Lidmila

Buckwheat turned out to be crumbly, but rather dry. The smell is pleasant.
But! It didn’t turn out as pleasant and gentle on the tongue as in Bork.
Yes, yes, just pleasant and gentle on the tongue.
You can't get away from tactile sensations.

Next time I will cook according to my own algorithm with preliminary soaking of cereals.
I will increase the butter and hope to get a consistently excellent result.

Perhaps there is not enough water here, and the cereals did not have time to cook properly.
Buckwheat does not need to be soaked. You need the right ratio of cereal and water (liquid) - and the porridge will turn out to be excellent

I suggest you look at my porridge in baby Redmond01

Tatiana, thanks for the porridge recipes.
I will definitely try.

I never soak buckwheat overnight. Two hours maximum. During this time, it does not turn sour, but simply swells.
And the porridge always turns out to be crumbly, grain to grain, but not dry and not smear.

Now I cook chicken noodles according to the recipe from the book.
I do not know what will happen

I want to make chicken stew for the evening.
I would be grateful for a hint in which nooks of the site there are recipes for baby Redmond01.

And now the promised comparison of Philips HD 3060 and Redmond RMC-01

Hello Manna!
You are not just Manna, you are just Heavenly Manna.
So well covered the topic of comparing two multivars.

The third day I own a magic saucepan Redik 01,
but I already realized that one saucepan is not enough, I need another one to help.

I was just considering Filipka and here is such an excellent comparison,
which is very useful for making a decision when buying a second multi !!!

In my opinion, these two cartoons will make a great tandem.
Swetie
Well, here I have updated my multicooker. First I made yogurt (milk + ready-made yogurt). It didn't work out. I suspect that the original yogurt was either not yogurt, or it was frozen - when I diluted it, it went with some grains, so in the end it was left - sour milk + grains. This is science for me - I will take proven products. But do not throw it away - I made curd on it. 15 minutes on the "milk porridge" mode and an hour or so on "warm". The curd turned out to be extremely tender. I even felt a little sad, remembering the hour long queues in the dairy kitchen. Yes, and in a saucepan in the bath, he still was not so tender.
I also cooked rice according to Tanya's recipe (Admin) from page 1 of the topic (I can't insert a link - they threaten with a ban). Reduced the cooking time, since I had basmati rice, and I soaked it beforehand. I am also happy with the rice - it only turned out like that for a couple. In general, first impressions are very, very positive.

About the smell. I boiled water with lemon juice and ginger in it, in my opinion the multicooker did not smell very much afterwards. But mamik assures that she is straight! horror how it stinks. Moreover! the bowl itself. Moreover !!! formaldehyde! Here's the truth - everyone has such a nose. As a result, I sprinkled the bottom of the cup with ground coffee for the night today (I read on the internet that it is an excellent absorbent), and poured coffee on the bottom of the multicooker itself. Let's see what the public has to say.

Yes, Tanya, thank you, I have done this before. In a jar and a blanket And this time when she was diluting it, I went with grains. Probably frozen. Well, the hapanula yogurt is not the same as always. But if it worked out, I would not have seen the most delicate curd

Petrovich5523
Hello girls!

I continue to master my wonderful saucepan!

Yesterday I took the meat stew recipe from the recipe book,
though he replaced pork with chicken fillet, which remained unused in homemade noodle soup.
In the recipe, the soup-stewing mode and the time is 1 hour 20 minutes, but after removing the sample after an hour, he turned off the miracle saucepan. 20 minutes would be overkill.

What I liked is that during the cooking process I can open the lid and control the process, take a sample.
This cannot be done in a bork without stopping the cooking process, since in almost all modes the bork works like a pressure cooker under pressure.

Today I made mushroom soup, again according to the recipe from the book.
True, frozen mushrooms were replaced with dried porcini, which I brought from Karelia last year.

Both the stew and mushroom soup are delicious.
Impressions of using a wonderful saucepan for 5 +++.
In general, I am pleased with the purchase !!!

Next in line are pea soup and cottage cheese casserole according to Admin's recipe.

And a question for society.Boil the broth on the "stew-soup" mode?
Mrs. Addams
Petrovich5523, in the "soup" mode, a wonderful broth is obtained, transparent, rich, there is no need to remove scale. I constantly cook chicken breast or fillet, depending on the purpose - meat in cold water or hot (a little water in a bowl - on "steam", put the meat, top up with boiling water from the kettle and switch to "soup")

This is my "standby mode" for cooking soups and stewing Quick soup from frozen winged legs is obtained in less than an hour, sometimes 40-45 minutes is enough Sample for the readiness of the meat and can be turned off

In my Reda-01 I tried to cook broth from chilled breast. But she never cooked it (((My hour, my "meat" was floating, warmed up, but not even boiling ... I loaded it into another cartoon and cooked everything there.
On baking, he is also harmful, the curd casserole inside is raw, although I add everything strictly according to recipes. Sinned on cottage cheese, on eggs, on sour cream. But it turns out that my Cartoon does not gain temperature in these modes (((
Here is porridge - 100% his case! Any porridge on Milk porridge - no problem.
It turns out that mine has something in the settings, if it only works well on porridge (((
It's a pity kaaak (((

Tatyana, there may be another option, perhaps you have a problem with electricity. Check how many volts you have in the outlet.
In our village, it is very bad with electricity, on weekends there is no higher than 170v in the outlet, and maybe even 90v, stabilizers save, we have three of them and all household appliances except a washing machine and a kettle work through them.
But if everything is in order with electricity - hand over the cartoon.

Frozen 2-3 wings, cold water, dried vegetable mixture, raw potatoes in coarse slicing, (cereals 1 tbsp. l. if necessary), salt - SOUP mode, time is 1 hour by default.
If with noodles, I check the readiness of the meat-potatoes, and add a little noodles - and until the noodles are ready.
Time always takes less than an hour.

I used to insure myself and set the time for 1.5 hours. But when, in fact, I checked the readiness earlier, I began to set the hour by default.

Want to know everything
Mandraik Ludmila, I didn't even think about electricity! Indeed, it is true that in the evening the lamps shine weaker! And I cook at night ... I leave the porridge on the heating, so she probably has enough time. Although I wrote that the milk began to curdle in the morning. I sinned for milk, and this is possible and true - the required temperature is not reached due to stress! Thanks for the idea! Check it out!

Admin, Tanya!
Thanks for the details! Now I understand for sure - something is wrong with my Red He can't cook so much food in three hours ...
I'll check the electricity again and I will definitely know where the problem is ...
Well, at least he cooks porridge! And thanks for that!

I bought it for a long time (I definitely can't give it anywhere), when they first appeared, these kids. Initially, I took his porridge to cook, other modes and did not even look. Then, almost six months after buying at the dacha (there are generally problems with electricity, we even connect the refrigerator through some kind of thing!) I tried to cook another food - for a long time and not always successfully. I left him for cereals, and thought that for other things he was weak, the producers were deceiving that he could do anything ...
But it turns out there is still a chance to introduce him to work!
Thank you girls!

In the microwave, you can definitely. No oil. I don’t know which ones at McDonald’s are, they turn out quite edible.
Cut potatoes into thin slices, rinse lightly and dry. Arrange in a single layer directly on a glass rotating dish in the microwave (or in a special plastic rack with slots). The main thing is to guess the exact time, it depends on the amount of potatoes and the power of the microwave. Usually 7-8 minutes, you have to watch. Otherwise, if you overexpose a little, they instantly burn out. We need to catch such a moment so that they become slightly ruddy.
