Girls, Thank you for your participation. This site indicates that the wire to the temperature sensor is flat (The sensor in the temperature controller is mounted on a flat wire, 1mm thick, for ease of placement under the cover of a yogurt maker) - probably at the request of workers
I will take
Oh, luck! Tada must be taken!

Good afternoon everyone, can you please tell me if anyone has this model and is it worth buying it? Yoghurt Moulinex DJC1 7 jars. I have to cook for a one year old child.
azaza
Specifically, I won't say about this model, but in general, Mulinex and Tefali have a common disease, almost universal - severe overheating. Better to look for other options, cheaper and more reliable. Perhaps there is an opportunity to order a Vivo yogurt maker? It would be nice. They say that now it is delivered to Russia too.
If there is an "ambush" at all, and only mulinexes with teffals are available - take a yogurt maker WITHOUT a timer and a separate temperature sensor for it, which will regulate the temperature in the yogurt maker. As practice shows, this is the most reliable option.

Thanks for the answer, there is a mechanical timer. We must probably look for another.

You probably have MOULINEX DJC1 41, you just didn't finish the numbers. I have the same. What is exhibited there is not a timer, although it is proudly called that. It's just a reminder. The timer is when the yogurt maker turns off itself after the set time.
Your Moulinex overheats, you can adapt to it, but if you do all sorts of usefulness for your child, then you'd better buy a thermostat for it, then you can make any useful products by adjusting the temperature to the needs of certain starter cultures.

Do you know anything about moulinex yg230?

This one definitely does not need to be taken, it has a timer and it has even more overheating.

The next time you try to put half a portion of the juice, it will most likely taste better ... The worst thing is that at my house with the door blue no one will eat except me and the dachshund, but on the other hand, it will get more
Please share the recipe: girl_red: I have a family of four, I love this, and our animals are a cat and a dachshund (dachshunds are all gourmets)

Good day, everyone! So I decided to buy a miracle technology. And as always, one question: What to buy and how to use it. I read the forum, and on 20-40 pages I approximately decided in favor of Ariete 85. I ordered it. Delivery 4 weeks. Apparently lucky from China. Jumped to the end, and then they say it overheats. So, after all, she also incited a friend to do this. Here I sit scratching my turnips. WHAT YOGARMIT TO BUY ?? I am from Moscow. Help with advice! Please
Lara_
Girls, bought a yogurt maker "Smile", which is for a liter of milk. I didn't like it. As usual, it overheats, and even their timer is junk, I woke up at night from a disgusting sound, I thought, what a moron left the car alarm .. I found it out from the kitchen .. In general, I did not get enough sleep, and even in the morning I found out that my yogurt was cooked .. Such are the impressions ..

very sorry
is this the yogurt maker that I did not advise you to buy (or am I confusing something)
but at least this miracle cost you not dear?
Lara_
No-e, here I, in general, did not seem to hear about her .. That's why I came to warn ..
Not expensive, within a thousand, I saw even for 800 rubles.
Nothing, we will fight with her yet, you can't take us with your bare hands .. and they were not tamed like that .. I have so-and-so Mulka, but I got really tired of fiddling with jars, I decided to take a liter.
In general, I thought, that's why they still haven't invented sensible yogurt makers? After all, the simplest device .. I decided that if we are all engaged in yoghurt making, someone's business could suffer greatly .. So the girls, our selfless Amazons, are suffering ..

Irina166 do not be upset ahead of time, I have been very happy with Ariet for 2 years already and bought it for my granddaughter, gave it to a friend. My daughter did not listen, bought Moulinex, after a couple of months of use she bought the same one as mine.

The name of the yogurt maker is also Smile, which means Smile ... I can imagine how you "smiled" from this siren. Yes, you will not envy. Did the shutdown timer go off there? If it is automatic, then you can't even build a thermostat there.
Lara_
No, there is such a strange timer, at first I thought, it does not work for me. And at night it screams, but so shrill. He himself does not turn off, you have to go and pull it out of the socket. Then I read the reviews, they say, regardless of the time you set, he still starts yelling after 6 hours ..
And I also complained about Mulya .. That's naive ..

Arietta has less power than Mulinex and Tefal, which sin overheating. So it may or may not overheat. For now, at least. In summer, when it is hot, it will probably be. Which specimen will come across. Here is another point. It is rectangular, not very comfortable. In a round one, you can push what kind of saucepan to ferment with one container. I bought myself a glass one for 1 liter. And the heat is distributed more evenly in the round. But this is one of the yogurt makers where you can build in a thermostat if it suddenly overheats. Or maybe you will not be lucky, or you will be a little. Then just put a layer of perforated cardboard on the bottom or thin plywood. In principle, Ariette, not the worst choice in terms of overheating, but a minus because of the rectangular shape. The best yoghurt maker is VIVO TERMOMASTER, but it is rare in Russia. I'm from Ukraine. Let the Russians tell you if you can buy it in Moscow now. There are 3 modes - 30, 36, 42 degrees. Keeps the temperature well, my mother has the same and Pintusha here on the forum. By the way, maybe she will tell you where they are in Russia. Email her if she doesn't respond.
Also, if you don't find VIVO, look at the Dax, they say they don't overheat, some girls have it here, they praise it. Maybe they will respond and advise. Do not despair, if nothing comes of it, then we will help tame Arietta too, if that’s what.

Yes, I looked at it on the Internet, this is so strange in appearance;) And there are no cups or jars? I read it - a compartment for milk, a compartment for leaven. It looks like there is nowhere to even insert the thermostat if you buy it in addition. I have a sensor from it at the bottom of the yogurt maker between the jars. And here it is somehow incomprehensible.

Well, that's right, PA-ZDRA-VLYA-EAT Tasty and healthy yoghurts, otherwise it's even somehow dumb, in Moscow to wait a month for the most ordinary yogurt maker, I understand, it would have been VIVO with three temperatures or some other bells and whistles, and that is quite trivial and budget.

I want to share my way of protecting against overheating. Yoghurt Daewoo 8224, bought this week in Technosila for 800 rubles. Overheats of course. I bought "Dimmer for wire" in electrical goods, the price of the device is 70 rubles. This such thing, which adjusts the brightness of the lighting, is used for example for a floor lamp, is a wire with a plug, in the middle there is a switch in the form of a wheel, twisting which changes the voltage in the network (in this case, the brightness of the light bulb). What we need !!! By screwing the socket of the outlet, and sticking the yogurt maker through this dimmer, I reduce the voltage, the heating element heats up less, therefore the temperature is lower. Empirically, turning the wheel, with a thermometer at the bottom of the yogurt maker, has already detected 32 degrees, 36, 38, 41.
VIVO is resting. Good luck to all!
EVA_
I also thought to take such a cord dimmer, but it was not with a wheel, but with a button that must be pressed and held, which seemed inconvenient to me. I bought a 24-hour mechanical timer and set it to work for a couple of hours, heating milk, and then work intermittently. And then when I had to pass out.

I didn’t succeed today. I took a working starter culture for 1.4 liters of Tema milk. At 11 in the afternoon I delivered, and at 14.30 the serum separated. I do not understand!!! The yogurt stood with dry sourdough all night and nothing. And today such a failure. I tried it and it was fresh. True, the child ate, but somehow it's a shame

When you make it on a working starter culture (the so-called over-starter culture), fermentation takes place much faster (bacteria do not need to revive, as is the case with dry starter culture).
When overselling, I always look at the readiness of the product, starting from a cooking time of about 3 hours.
Although your yoghurt stood for only 3.5 hours - as if in time, it can be assumed that either you overexposed it for half an hour, or the yogurt maker still overheats.

I put it in the yoghurt maker so that the thermometer's nose touches the bottom of the yogurt maker, and it rests against the side of the yogurt maker - in principle, as it turns out, so that the thermometer's nose touches the bottom of the yogurt maker.

If there is overheating with the cardboard, be sure to try the silicone - it helps a lot. And it would not hurt to check the temperature with a thermometer at the bottom of the yogurt maker - I have already put up a photo of the thermometer today.

And you indicate where you are from. I saw Epicenter hypermarkets - there are thermometers, barometers and so on - a whole showcase. And also saw in the household. store in the market - there are street thermometers, and alcohol meters, and lactometers - in general, all that. Well, that's how it tastes to whom - which one likes best. I like streptosan from Vivo (if you make it on the melon, it will be fermented baked milk from this ferment) and I like the symbilact with lactulose - not sour, tasty, yogurt is also good.
In Good Food starter cultures - good yogurt, bio fermented baked milk (I really like it and I got it like a must) and a symbiotic. In the Bulgarian Genesis - bioyogurt (it tastes great, but I always have it), lactobacilli (they say they are good).
