7 hours in mv.
We put on the activation for 6 hours, but it is always sour on it.
We found in our N-ska biobifido in the pharmacy we take. In general, it is not sour without sugar.
In general, the starter culture can be selected to taste. And MV itself keeps the temperature honestly, because the yoghurts in it are wonderful

Pasta mode is really super-duper

and today I generally fell into deep thoughtfulness
cooked quite a bit semolina (in milk powder in 300 ml. water), the weight of the finished porridge turned out even less.
I went up to the valve, but I just opened it at that moment (after all, it squeaked), all the foam settled down at once, two table decoys. I poured spoons ... and stayed to see what would happen next (whether it would stop boiling, as it used to be with dumplings) ... but I didn't stop, I turned it off after 5 minutes of boiling, because everything was cooked.
And now I sit deep in thought understanding the MEANING! words about recommended bookmark sizes products in the bowl MV.

you will not believe it, but for the first time in everything (since 15.11.12) months I thought about it, I always piled everything as I needed, and after all, EVERYTHING WAS MADE mb, I was just lucky, I got into the recommendations; or our Fields och. super clever
a little later I will post (in pictures) my today's experiment with semolina on Pasta for 11 minutes (described in this post)
0791
as I wrote recently, I suddenly discovered an oddity in one of the most frequently used modes.
I came up with an application for this oddity, today I tested it with 300 ml of water, 30 g. dry milk and 2 tablespoons. spoons of semolina. By the way, it is clear that it is dry. milk foams already with water
Here's what happened: when the MV squeaked, I opened the lid, there was foam at the valve, BUT! did not climb through it! dropped immediately when the lid was opened.
I fell asleep with semolina. Left to watch. MV did not turn off (as it seemed to me before), but continued to boil. AND the porridge was ready in 5 minutes... It tastes quite tasty manochka: I even ate it, although I usually don't eat
here are the pictures

TOTAL: approx. 250 g ready-made porridge managed to cook in my favorite
The volume of the bowl is 5 liters; working volume approx. 4 l. We cooked 3.5 liters of soup. And jellied meat was just for all 4 liters under the very rivets.

Yes, for baking, when I bake cake or bread, for example. Although, of course, bake and crust can be used not only for this.
I'm just interested in baking! I just never tried to bake in these modes. How is it going? Doesn't it burn?

Ira, when I baked that first cake, I had a multi lid knocked out twice. The recipe itself needs to be improved in terms of the number of ingredients. I have calculated a new recipe for this cake, but have not tried it yet. I can post it if it's relevant.
WOW I was scared of something
did it beat out on the proofer? or on baked goods?
I will be glad to the recipe

just today I'm sitting in a download about the quantities put into the bowl.
Wow ... I never thought about it ... and even knocks the lid

knocked out on baking, that is, it opened abruptly spontaneously, I had to settle the dough twice. That recipe (p. 41) was for a bread machine. There is too much flour and yeast.
So I made such a recipe for multi:
Dry yeast - 1.5 tsp
Millet flour. - 350gr.
Salt - 0.5 tsp.
Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
Vanillin - 1 tsp
Eggs - 4 pcs. (55 - 60 gr.)
Draining. oil - 80 gr.
Citrus juice. - 40 ml.
Candied fruits, raisins - 150 gr.
With such quantities, it will not knock out. Draining. I usually melt butter in the microwave to a liquid state.
I would set the modes the same as for Easter cake on page 55. Proven recipe on this page.

Oh, I was even upset. That is, on yoghurt the dough does not rise at all?
I baked on our Field, though so far only four times, and it always rose. And she exhibited photos on the forum.
Actually, maybe flour is "to blame" or yeast? I have had cases when the dough did not rise well, and the bread or cake turned out to be low, even when I was baking on a bread machine. Then I changed the flour, took fresher yeast, and the situation improved. Maybe this is the case?

I have already changed the yeast and flour and kept it on yogurt, maybe I’m kneading the dough incorrectly or doing something wrong! I do not know. how many times I tried, but it does not rise and naturally the bread is low, the husband eats it in one sitting.

on another forum I read that at 40C yeast "dies".
You can probably ask someone here who knows everything about bread.
I only use a bread maker for yeast dough. I can't imagine how I can do something hand-to-hand now

I really have a different slow cooker, but about the bread - I baked the dough on the "Yogurt" program, it rises super well and the bread is also excellent.
Maybe you need to increase the amount of yeast? I also knead in HP.

On yoghurt We seem to have 38 C-42 C. Maybe in the first hours the temperature does not exceed 40 C. After all, the dough rises, and not only with me. I have seen examples on another forum.

Maybe then increase the proofing time a little more? Because in the bread maker, during kneading, the dough already heats up a little.

Ksyushik555 add the amount of yeast and see the result. Does your dough just rise at room temperature?
And how long does it take to proof the dough?

I already tried to increase the yeast, I kept the dough in the multitool on the yogurt mode and wrapped in "one hundred blankets" near the stove, the proofing takes 1 hour. and even if it rises, it is generally very little.

by the way, on the topic of macaros. I cook in 2 versions. 1 - I fall asleep pasta in the mult, add salt and grow a little. oil and pour boiling water from a kettle to slightly hide the paste mode.
2 - pour water 1/3 mow and set the cooking mode on steam, as the current boils in about 7 minutes, throw the horns on top of the cutlet grill, after 20 minutes lunch is ready. but in this case I wash the horns.

Yes, I also cook dumplings in the steaming mode, throw them after boiling. I like it with broth, and if not, then on pasta to hide the current.
Sveta Nguyen
noticed such a nuance.
cooked potatoes with meat, and confused the regime. and so on "baking" for 30 minutes MSO was not ready and the potatoes were not very good, and after an hour the potatoes were overcooked, and the meat was not quite soft.
but "baking" in 30 minutes, the meat is tender and the potatoes have time to bake, with this mode I add 1 \ 2 more multi-glass of water, the meat in this mode is always very tender and juicy, even chicken breast

I measured it every hour. The first 2 hours at 37-38C measured; at the 3rd hour it was 40.9C; on the 4th from 39C (opposite the entrance) to 44C in the place that I wrote about yesterday (at the heater inlet) - probably poked at the time of heating ...
here in more detail

for Yoghurt, everything was written from 38 to 42C for 8 hours.
I measured it every hour. The first 2 hours at 37-38C measured; at the 3rd hour it was 40.9C; on the 4th from 39C (opposite the entrance) to 44C in the place that I wrote about yesterday (at the inlet of the heater) - probably at the time of heating it poked ... that such different readings, since there were no more such discrepancies ... Anywhere on the bottom was the same reading. And on the top - on the caps I put a thermometer - always 37-38C.At the 5th hour 42C, at the 6th 41.2C. On the 7th 41.6C. And at the 8th hour I sat next to it, heard the clicks of the relay, at that moment I laid the thermometer on the bottom at the entrance and, on the contrary, the results were repeated (as at the 4th hour), that is, at the very moment of heating, maximum input bottom temperature! 44.2C. At the same time, in general, about 40-42С on the bottom.
In this way, Yogurt fully complies with the temperature regimes declared by the Manufacturer from 38C to 42C
I measured it as follows: I put the thermometer in the bowl on the bottom with a sensor, stopped the top between the lids, closed the lid, waited for several minutes, then opened the lid and looked at the readings.

Olya,
Not available with handles yet.
And about the restoration of non-stick properties is on page 50 of our forum (message from 0791)
You can also boil a liter of water with a few slices of lemon. Try it, it won't get any worse.

Which cups are right for us? It's just that the consultant told me in mvideo that if there are no pens, then there will be a gap, and they say it may start to cook badly ... but I really can't do anything, but still ...

Pot for 990 rubles, Teflon, or Pot Ceramik for 1450 rubles, ceramic (I have one), are quite suitable. And the absence of handles practically does not affect the cooking process.
apteky6ka
This table shows a comparison of the characteristics of ceramic and non-stick coatings, their endurance under various tests.

Test Non-stick coating Ceramic coating Remarks

Abrasive blasting ***** **** Significant reduction in non-stick
properties after processing.
Performance indicators
using
dishwashing liquids /
dishwashers ***** * Alkaline detergents harm
ceramic coatings.
Hardness *** **** Non-stick coating is more flexible
material - easily subject to scratches.

Flexibility **** * Ceramic coatings are more fragile.

***** - excellent, *** - satisfactory, * - unsatisfactory

With regard to the non-stickiness of both coatings, it can be noted that the non-stick properties of ceramics at the initial stage are higher than those of non-stick cookware, but with normal use they persist only for 3 months. At the same time, the high non-stick properties of non-stick cookware, even with intensive use, do not change for 2 years.

Feature Non-stick coating Ceramic coating

Primordial non-stick
properties **** *****

After prolonged use ***** **

Chipping strength ***** ***

High temperatures *** ***

As a result, we can conclude that it is the dishes with a non-stick coating that can be classified as "non-stick", that is, non-stick.Ceramics, as shown by numerous tests, is just a decorative coating, which in Europe has long been referred to as "easy-to-clean" or "easy to clean". Moreover, according to the test results, dishes with PTFE are less susceptible to chips and, in Unlike ceramic coated cookware, it can be used in a dishwasher. Thus, the myth was debunked that the life of the hard ceramic coating is longer than that of the softer non-stick PTFE-based coating.
With regard to the non-stickiness of both coatings, according to Weilburger, PTFE is ahead of ceramics in this criterion too. Despite the fact that the non-stick properties of ceramics are higher at the initial stage, with normal use they remain only for 3 months. At the same time, the high non-stick properties of PTFE, even with intensive use, do not change for 2 years
