Do you add celery root? I nra, it is he who gives the rice "tasty"
I love both the root and the stems, but my husband finally doesn't like
And the main eaters in our family are husband and son
Therefore, I treat myself to them raw in salads in a separate plate
By the way, a very tasty salad: celery root, apples - everything on a grater in stripes and a little olive. oils and dill-vitamins MORE and for the figure, again, NOT BAD

Hello girls!
We returned from Greece, brought delicious olive oil. What I like is that in the cartoon it can be used in cooking without restrictions, since the temperature there is relatively low and it does not give an unpleasant aftertaste!
There was a question about baking tea / coffee. I messed up the Bulk apple pie yesterday. It turned out - you will lick your fingers!

I am writing))) in general, I filled raw cannelloni with minced meat, put it in a cartoon. On top, a little ketchup and cheese on a grater, added water to lightly cover all the ingredients and mixed rice for one mode. The only thing if you put it in two layers, then the lower ones are boiled, so it is better twice to fully eat everything, and not separately the dough from the meat))) Something like that. Maybe you need to choose a different mode, because I'm just learning, so by intuition I chose this one)

Potato casserole is a combined recipe from various sources. Cut potatoes into slices across, cheese - on a grater, 2 eggs mixed. with milk and spices, minced meat {I did not fry, but it would be necessary with an onion and volume. paste}.
I lay out everything in layers - I got 2 potato / minced meat / 2 cards, sprinkling with cheese and milk sauce.
Baking mode 60 + 20 min.

Greetings to the members of the Toshiba club. Yesterday I was the owner of this device. I chose a cartoon for a painfully long time, I wanted to find the perfect one, I realized that each multi has its own nuances. I need a slow cooker to cook porridge in the morning, with a delayed start. And yesterday at night I already threw in oatmeal, threw in 1 ms, per liter of liquid, milk and water 50/50, salt, sugar, in the morning I realized that it was milk oatmeal soup, added another 1 ms of oatmeal, set the porridge mode again, after sawed sawed, it turned out to be the perfect oatmeal .. if left on the heating, I suspect that the porridge would be thick. I made pork with potatoes, green beans, bell peppers and carrots tonight. I threw the meat, cut into pieces on baking, while peeling potatoes, it was fried, then I threw vegetables, sour cream with water, and put it on porridge. After propilikivaniya, the potatoes were absolutely raw, I put rice on the mix, and when it boiled, I switched to porridge .. and then warmed up .. the potatoes were not boiled .. everything is the easiest. I realized that it was necessary to think about the modes, the time for everything about everything took about 2.5 hours (well, this is + experiments with modes). A photo of the creation is attached, however, at the time of photographing, two portions have already been pulled out from there)))). By the way, I bought it in METRO, for 5400

For milk porridge - use the scales inside the bowl. According to theory - for example 0.5 mstak. cereals and liquid up to 0.5 on the Congee scale, etc.
For side dishes - also - 2 mstak of rice and liquid up to 2 on the Mixed Rice scale ...
In my practice, for oatmeal 2/3 mstak. cereals and liquid 0.5 Congee
Rice milk porridge - 1mstak. rice and liquid up to 3 on Mixed Rice and another hour on Heating
These are the recipes for the Congee mode
For side dishes - buckwheat, rice, etc. - Mixed Rice modes or if a small amount is possible and more Quick cook

For cooking, for example, meat or chicken and potatoes, I would use only the Baking mode, or first. Baking to fry the meat with the lid open and then Mix. fig.
The main thing in this business is practice.

Hello everybody! My husband donated a Toshiba 18 multicooker for others. The intended use is cooking in the country. And morning porridge for a family of 6. In the recipe book I saw a Genius cupcake and really wanted to, but I was scared that the ingredients indicated a special flour for the cupcakes and somehow strangely it was necessary to steam the egg-sugar mixture (it was not specified how long and for what).
Maybe someone has already cooked it?
I had to cook a charlotte with duchess pears - the result is great. I did two in a row so that everyone got it). Yesterday I made a vegetable stew from zucchini, bell peppers, eggplant, carrots and onions - also super. While she was cooking, I cleaned up the entire kitchen for the first time in a year (there were three children, all the babies did not even reach the cleaning gene).

The meat just melted in my mouth, my household before that didn’t really like beef, but here everything was reduced at once

The problem is this: when I fry the meat in the baking mode, then juice is released from the meat and it is not fried, but you can say it is cooked in its own juice.
Fry quickly, like in a frying pan, the meat will not work, since such a high temperature is not provided in the multicooker. BUT, fry the meat can... Place the baked goods and close the lid, when the meat juice has evaporated, the frying process begins. When the lid is closed, the temperature will be higher and the crust will appear faster. Itself the other day I was preparing beef stroganoff from beef, the roast turned out to be normal. If you forget the meat, then it can burn.

You can stew mixed rice and porridge on programs. First, you should fry the meat a little on baked goods, add vegetables (if you wish), add sauce, broth or water, then discard the baked goods and turn on CP or Porridge. After the end of the program, see what happened. If the beef is harsh, you can repeat the program. If you do it in advance, for example in the evening the next day, then you can simply leave it alone and the dish will come on heating. Somehow, the meat stood on heating for 35 hours (it happened).

girls, and if I am not particularly proficient in English, will it be possible to master it? I liked Toshiba the most in the store, but if it's too difficult, then I'll probably buy a Panas, what do you think?
zav-na
Why do you need English? The instruction is in Russian, the details of development and recipes in the topic are enough. Then you yourself will experiment and adapt your favorite recipes for a multicooker. If you don't mind the lack of stewing and a long program, then Tosha is an excellent choice!

And we replace the stewing with porridge, just turn it on a couple of times and leave it heated.

I bought the RC-18NMFR multicooker the other day. I liked that a good bowl at a low price. No unnecessary odors when first cooking. The mode of boiling eggs is just wonderful and onsen tamago is obtained the first time without any experiments, rice also comes out great - without multi, I have never got such rice. Actually, that's where I started: tamago onsen in dashi broth and rice with egg. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Tell us what is tamago onsen ?! Otherwise, we don't know what to do with this egg boiling program ...
Onsen tamago - an egg boiled in a hot spring, a fairly popular dish in Japan, even a separate mode was made in the cartoon. Alas, this can only be understood if you are a little fond of Japanese cuisine (from the temperature regimes of the instructions). I don’t understand the representatives of Toshiba - to release a normal product, to make instructions with a bunch of recipes, but not to include a single recipe for using the mode of cooking eggs, which is unusual in our country.
In principle, tamago onsen can be used in many dishes: added to rice, ramen, soba, some soups. There are several recipes on the internet.
I had to oversimplify what it was. For serving the eggs I took only kombu dashi broth, soy sauce and some onions for beauty.
With the second course, everything is also simple: rice, an egg boiled in our cartoon, soy sauce, and all this was sprinkled with furikake.

Good day!
used this cartoon for almost 3 months. yesterday she began to behave inappropriately.
cooked soup on the baking / soup mode for 25 minutes.
the countdown did not go (I still did not understand in which cases it works and in which it does not)
after some time (perhaps after 25 minutes, and possibly even earlier) the cartoon beeped and turned off.
the display was all fogged up from the inside and she stopped responding to pressing any keys.
I thought that maybe it was from overheating (although it was turned on for less than an hour), I left her alone for a whole day.
now the situation is this: when it is unplugged: shows the time Multicooker Toshiba RC-18NMFR and RC-10NMFR
I plug it in - it beeps once - a hieroglyph appears on the display and the time is 4:01 (although in fact it is 19:01)

and does not respond to any keys (not food, the indicator does not light up).

If it does not react to anything, then most likely it is necessary to take it to the service. I didn't have that. Once there was a fogged display, but more, mmm, it did not happen again.

And the fact that she shows it looks like a timer, something shorted inside her, maybe the steam got somewhere.

I also have a mysterious glitch: in the morning I often cook an omelet, by the way, it's very convenient - I poured the egg mixture, set the timer for 20 minutes, and went to shave (ladies can paint). Before pouring the mixture, I fry the filler: onions, sausages, tomatoes, sometimes sweet peppers, in general, everything that is at hand. First, I set the "baking" mode for 50 minutes, throw in the ingredients, they start to fry and crunch deliciously, and so, as soon as the mixture is stirred, the crunching dies down, that is, the cartoon stops frying. fry, this time without glitches. What is this?
Maya123
my cartoon was fixed. stood at home for a week - periodically tried to turn it on - effect 0.
brought to the service. I give it to the master. he pulled out a thicket and pressed somewhere with his hand on the bottom. includes - everything works. I ask: "what have you done"? and he says "but nothing." I don't know if it's a coincidence or not. but it works pah-pah-pah))

The cartoon behaved well, but when steaming, the screen fogs up and nothing is visible, and now for some reason the meat burns in the frying mode, although everything was fine before, but we will see further what surprises to expect.

Girls, please tell us how to make yogurt. And is it worth venturing with him?
Ir-Ok
Hello everyone! I've been using my Toshenka for 2 months now, while I like everything, I got used to the menu for a while, but I got used to it very quickly, now she plows me 2 times a day, it's not worth idle, and in the meantime, with the baby we are walking on the street, while our assistant is working

But there are several drawbacks, porridge cooked in water is not particularly obtained, for example, rice porridge does not look like porridge in the literal sense, but rather like rice soup, I measure out the cereal with multi-glasses, pour water at the risk on a saucepan, put it on the timer overnight. Similarly, barley and buckwheat porridge. But corn does not have time to cook in one cycle, you have to bring it to a boil on mixed rice, then go to porridge mode, then everything is super. The baking turns out well, but still I would like to bake more puffy, in other cartoons (I tried Panas and Phillips) it turns out more magnificent. Of course, there is not enough stewing function, but otherwise everything is fine, especially pilaf and rice for the side dish turn out to be sepera, in other cartoons it did not work out, I generally keep quiet about the stove, the soups are delicious, the meat and potatoes on the baked goods are generally yummy. And yesterday I made Khau Mok Kai from a recipe book, it turned out so delicious that we could almost do everything at once. Here is a photo:

Maya123, I had a similar story with Phillips, when the cartoon was turned on, it did not emit a sound signal and did not respond to pressing the buttons, they took it to the service center, they made a "reset" there, apparently they rebooted the percent, a week later the story repeated itself, replaced some detail, after a month she again did not show signs of life, they decided to return the cartoon under warranty, but the refund process has been delayed and has been dragging on for six months .... there was no more strength to wait, without multi, nowhere ... bought Tosha. I like Toshiba even more than the Philipsoid. I hope your cartoon will be all right!

Girls, and I made such a dish called achma. From thin lavash.
Products: minced meat 1 kg, cabbage half a head of cabbage, 2 onions, salt, pepper to taste, 2 eggs, 0.5 l of kefir, large thin lavash 1 package (of 3 pieces)
Preparation: stew minced meat with onions, add cabbage, salt, pepper there, you can 1 tomato, greens (but I did not add). Grease a multi saucepan with oil and line a sheet of pita bread so that the edges hang down, put a part of the filling on the pita bread with a thin layer. Tear the rest of the lavash sheets into pieces of 10 by 10 cm or so. Prepare a mixture - knock down eggs with kefir, salt and pepper. Dip the pita bread leaves into this mixture and cover the filling, thus sandwiching the entire cake, using up all the filling. Cover the cake with the hanging edges of the pita bread, spread small pieces of butter on the surface and pour out the rest of the mixture. Cook in BAKE mode for 50 minutes. After the signal, remove from the saucepan

Good morning!
Yesterday Tosha RC-18NMFR was purchased and the following problem (or is it the norm for him) immediately emerged:
set the soup to cook, choosing white rice in conjunction with baking / soup. Set the time to 60 and hit Cook / Keep Warm.
Neither after 10 minutes, nor after 20 minutes, nor even after 20 minutes of active boiling of my soup, the timer still continued to show the value 60. Games with decreasing values (stayed for 3 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.) at this mode did not give any result.
What is it? Marriage?
Ir-Ok
Hello, dvb78!
I will probably repeat myself - the problem you described is not a marriage. First, the multicooker picks up the desired temperature for a specific program, only after that the countdown starts, and this is correct, because you can put frozen, chilled or fresh food, it will take different time to boil, therefore, with fresh food, the desired temperature will be typed faster and the countdown will start earlier , but with frozen ones it will take longer to gain temperature and boil for some time without a countdown. For example, yesterday I cooked chicken soup with sorrel, specially noted the time, poured cold water into the bowl, after about 20 minutes the water boiled, after which I put the defrosted chicken breast in boiling water and after 10 minutes the countdown started. I think you should have waited a little, the countdown, a little later, would have definitely turned on. Good luck!
