And if dry crumbled, will they stir? I'm also interested, because I bought fresh ones and I want to learn how to bake with them!
Kid
We communicate with you through messages, here intonation is not audible, only "bare" words. Clarifications on each side are time consuming.
Please try to choose words and terms more accurately, then help will be more effective for you!
I realized that fresh briquetted yeast, when you crumble it, you call it dry, and those that you dilute and then add to the bucket are wet. And so, you called the same yeast both dry (?) And wet (?) ...
Kid

I realized my mistake, next time I will try to choose the words more precisely!

yes, I bought a briquette of Voronezh yeast, fresh. so clear? and I have no experience with them. read a little, understood how to "revive", yesterday kneaded on "ripe dough". But if you do not dilute the leaven or dough, well, there is no time, then can they be crumbled to the bottom? Or do you need to do something differently? and if these crumbled ones do not stir? I have Panas-257, dry products down, liquid on top. it turns out that the yeast is under the flour. Tell me please! thanks for your feedback! little experience, so I'm learning from you!
Gaby
Baby, fresh yeast is soft, cut it off and crush it into a bucket with your fingers and you understand them, you add water, of course they will stir, your stove will do everything and knead everything perfectly, you have a lot of theoretical fears. How many people bake here, think and everyone succeeds and you have to believe that you will succeed.

Another question is ripe. And how to measure butter? No matter how stupid it sounds, but it is solid, Use a measuring spoon to pick it up?

The very first time you can weigh (on an electronic scale) a piece of oil. Remember its dimensions. If in the recipe the amount of butter is indicated in the ML, then melt and measure the volume (with a tablespoon or measuring spoon). In subsequent times, be guided by the external dimensions.

This is not an error, this is an imprecision
Just don't use Fast mode (R), the yeast won't have time to work well.
Bake quick bread better with Fast-acting yeast like Saf-Moment and others ...
Good luck! Ask and they will prompt and help you with pleasure!

oh, as you suggested in time! and I already dreamed that in the evening I would be fast on a fresh oven ... well, we also have dry active PAFs. oh, how great it is to have the Internet and there are many companions in it, responding to the cry of a beginner !!!

In general, my first baking experience took place. The bread came out delicious and cute. I even photographed. Made Dairy. I picked the oil with a measuring spoon. I could not sit until the victorious, went to sleep. In the morning I pulled it out after a downtime on the heating. Both my husband and I liked it. Satisfying. Now it would be the same, but with garlic and dill :) Experienced bakers, tell me, can you just add garlic and dill to the Milk recipe? Or do you need to use other recipes, specially tailored for this?
Arka
Congratulations!
Don't be afraid to experiment! If you like the taste of some bread, try adding to it.
Can you show a photo of your dairy?
Jane2003
Arka, thanks! I'll show you! Now you need to download it to your computer. And take a photo in the cut. And then after withdrawal of strength it was enough only for a photo of the whole :) Then it cooled down for a long time, while I slept off.

I remember someone talking about garlic in the dough, that it suppresses yeast activity.

I haven't read it yet. There is just another recipe in the booklet. There is a lot of other things. But dry yeast and chopped garlic are present, and I don't want to add everything else. And I only want dill and garlic. So I think it will work out or not.

Hello everyone!
So we finally got HP! The process of making bread was immediately launched, we chose dairy from the list of recipes in the instructions for HP. At that time there was nothing to the camera !!! Now I posted pictures of the second loaf. Rather, the third. After the first one, the son wanted the bread to be a little saltier. I took everything according to the egg recipe, but added a little more salt. But either he overdid it, or because the salt-sea salt (a little saltier), or because he reduced the sugar ... or maybe a coincidence of all circumstances, yes Epiphany water, in general, he did not rise. But I was not upset. Some even fail the first time, but I don't succeed the second. And the third loaf is the same as the first.

Raw garlic suppresses yeast, so they put it dry.

Andre, here on the forum there is an article about salt and its role in the dough, you will find it by searching, in short, it says that salt is necessary for the development of gluten in the dough, but if there is a lot of salt, then it suppresses yeast. In my experience: 500 grams. flour you need to put 2 teaspoons no more, put more - the bread turned out to be low.
Arka
Jane2003, handsome scoundrel bread!
Add everything to the bread you like and you will succeed! Just be careful with the amount of garlic, and try with dry. You can also first bake unpeeled garlic in the oven, and add it to the bread.

Kid! I tried yeast in a briquette, which are called fresh (we have our own yeast plant in the region) ..... no, not mine .... my arms grow from where my legs should grow ... for myself, I decided only yeast -soft! We, thank God in Altai, have a fairly large selection of different yeasts and producers, when I was not engaged and did not even suspect what assortment ... but plunged into it ... OPS! .... I tried to bake bread with all manufacturers .... they all call themselves instant ... and when the bread smells (under all the same conditions ... this is flour, etc.) yeast ... not good! Thanks for the information!
Jane2003
I only see these fast dry ones here. And I'm just no baker. Highest achievements - ready-mix pies. Charlottes in the Multicooker. And now the first bread is just a delight! Hooray HP!

Hello everyone!!!!!! I can now bake homemade bread too! Today I got a Panasonic 256 stove and an electronic scale in addition (I ordered it through the online store). I came home from work, studied the instructions, although before that I had already visited this site (and other similar ones) - I read a manual on baking, what a bun should be, watched a video of kneading in a bread maker, etc.
I filled in the ingredients (I decided to start with the simplest recipe for white bread, according to the instructions). I was expecting a long equalization of temperatures, but the stove started kneading in about 20 minutes. After the first kneading, the bun turned out to be very, in my opinion, good - round, rather smooth, sticky to the touch, but did not stick to fingers. The bread maker stopped, and I thought that the baking process had begun, I was delighted with my bun and that I didn't have to adjust it. But then, unexpectedly for me, a second, intensive batch began. At the end of it, I looked inside, and my bun is no longer a bun, but just a sticky mass, the spatula smeared the dough along the bottom and could not collect it back, moreover, it stuck a little on the sides of the bucket. The lifting mode started .. I was a little upset about the test, but not very much. Still, I hope that the dough will rise and everything will correct itself
After 1 hour 15 minutes I will find out what I did.
And for everyone who read my message, I want to ask: at what point did I need to intervene in the process of kneading the kolobok in order for everything to work out as it should?
Arka
yusia25 I think bun should have been denser at the beginning of the kneading, since the dough diverges and becomes softer with the subsequent kneading

Stacy, it was not the gods who burned the pots ... and you also need to learn to handle and communicate with the bread maker. Arm yourself with knowledge (while you are waiting for the assistant), read the local manuals.
Just do not rush to "fast" or non-standard bread right away. There is no need for haste. Master wheat on the main program.

With the acquisition of HP, you simply cannot imagine (yet!) What miracles we have begun to create! And this despite the fact that no one is friends with yeast dough! You will succeed! And remember that thoughts materialize, so there should only be positive!

I think the bun should have been denser at the beginning of the kneading, since the dough diverges and becomes softer with the subsequent kneading
I felt that I should add a little flour, but decided not to interfere and check the recipe from the instructions for reliability. Moreover, I didn’t expect the second batch, as it was all mixed up in my head - I re-read so much information that I forgot that first there was a so-called pre-mixing, and then another intensive one. Next time I will boldly correct the kolobok. But I checked the recipe. Since the bread has turned out, it will be possible to use the recipe for night baking.

Stasi009, you just like me. My husband is also not very "FOR" my desire to buy a bread maker. I took advantage of the fact that he is now on a business trip. By the way, he still doesn't know anything. I think the surprise will still be pleasant. By his arrival I will master several recipes, and he will quickly change his mind.

Congratulations on your excellent first bread!
Only not a recipe you checked, they are all rechecked, but how is your flour, water, etc. are consistent with this recipe Why is it necessary to follow and shape the Kolobok? Because of this! For example, I am lucky: I use products that exactly match the recipes. My Gingerbread Man is created by himself! and does not need correction. When author's recipes, sometimes (sometimes!) it is necessary to follow, because the authors may have flour of a different quality and condition
Good luck! Excellent

Yeah, like most novice bakers, I could not cope with curiosity and cut the bread without letting it cool down properly.

lana7386
Only not a recipe you checked, how does your flour, water, etc. agree with this recipe
You're right.
I baked the first bread on the remnants of the flour that I had (not very good quality, even the baker's employee noticed when he tried my bread), and now I bought a good one (according to friends' reviews). I will stay.

Stasi009 Yesterday I could not stand it and sent my husband an email. mail. pictures of Panasik and bread. At first there was a pause .. Then he said that it was necessary to wait for him (he saw some kind of black color, in his words "bomb!", But I quickly explained to him the one hundred main thing that is inside), then asked if the bread was tasty, and then said well done that I bought! and that excuses about the lack of bread at home will no longer work

I also suffered for a long time with the choice between 254 and 257.
Thought about Moulinex 600230
After weighing everything, I decided that the difference of one thousand is not so significant
The plus was the dispenser - very convenient and very glad that I have it !!!!
Two shoulder blades are also very convenient.
Not very good with rye yet
But!
I've never baked with malt.
Only with dry kvass.
Everything I do according to recipes from the bread machine and from the forum - it turns out great!
Think, choose!
It was also important that 257 "disappears" from sales faster than 256.
I thought about it and decided that it was no accident.
And chose 257
Moulinex in the store carefully examined.
The seller (despite the fact that Moulinex was more expensive!) Said that if you choose, then definitely 257 Panasonic.

When I bought, too, the choice was between 254 and 255, then I thought that I needed the maximum, once I take it ... but after a while I draw a conclusion for myself, if I bought again and there was a noticeable difference in price, I would choose 254, I use the dispenser extremely rarely, sometimes I managed to forget and set the mode as without a dispenser and happily observe hot additives in the dispenser plus ready-made bread, if I add spices immediately to the flour, if I prefer to add additives during the kneading process (or if I used the dispenser, I like to manually close the damper dispenser before baking, my problem is not necessary, but it seems to me better), I used a rye spatula once for an experiment, it also interferes with the usual one (too lazy to rearrange). In general, of course, it's up to you to choose, but the main thing is that Panasiks all bake equally well from 253 to 257 (IMHO), and think about the bells and whistles how much you need them and whether it is worth overpaying, let alone postponing acquaintance with HP!
Jane2003
My friends and I conducted a whole study here, we tried bread from a friend with HP Panasonya, and decided that we should take whatever looks at you. And before our very eyes, the store was swept away 256. And the sellers said that they were taking this and taking this one. The same but cheaper and one piece krsirf. So both are good. I have no regrets that there is no dispenser. Wash less and fall asleep easier if needed.

Thanks for the comment. I already understood about the dispenser - I don't really need it so much. I'm all about the "rye bread" function, which is not on the 254 model ... So far what I am reading, how to do it, if there is no such function makes me despondent .... It seems to me it is very difficult Can I ... And so I want to eat rye ... I can use it according to the system - I'm sitting at -60 for the fourth month ... (I lost weight from 64 kg to 51 kg)

So 256 is a full analogue of 254 in modes, just the coating of the bucket is a little different (for me it is not important), then I don't understand what stops you from buying 254 ... if you would gladly buy 256? Today I baked rye bread (a mixture of rye and wheat flour according to Feeder's recipe) in 1 main mode with a regular spatula, that is, in 254 it would be the same ...

Hello everyone! My beloved bread maker 256 is already on its way to me (the courier will deliver it in an hour)! I also thought about 256 or 257 for a long time ... but then, after weighing everything, I stopped at 256! Many people write that rye can be baked without specials. mode, so we will experiment
In our city in the M-video, it costs 7690! I went to the official panasonic website and ordered my charm for 5999 plus free shipping!
I bought different flours, so I sit and wait. I'm also trying to grow sourdough, but that's a completely different story.
