I came here by accident. I, too, and the valve is clogged and a huge crack all over the lid and the pan is completely killed, with careful attitude to it. The coating of the pan was worn out, scratched and in several places bubbled (the bubbles burst and the coating peeled off), I sent a photo to the service center, of course they told me that I did something with him there, like put a pan on the fire. The cuckoo has long been without a guarantee. A representative in St. Petersburg (many thanks to her) helped with cleaning the lid and ordering a new pan, now everything is working. I love my cuckoo dearly, but like everyone else, I am very disappointed with the quality and slowly watch reviews of new multicooker pressure cookers. Friends, looking at my pan, did not take a Cuckoo for themselves. Since I was waiting for the delivery of pots to Russia for several months and did not cook certain dishes due to the broken coating (I cooked mainly in steam so that there was no contact with the bottom of the pan). It seemed to me that the coating of the new pan is somewhat different, more dense and resistant, that is, they are different.

Were there any bubbles? I certainly have scratches, but not like that. The 1010 has a much better coating, the 1054 is soft, rather weak and apparently due to the fact that induction, the pan is so vulnerable.

Yes, bubbles, which then burst from the temperature and the coating began to move away, a second layer was visible. As soon as I started using this pan, it began to scratch and rub off, like Teflon on simple cheap pans (as in the photo at the beginning of the topic, one to one). But the new pan is a completely different coating, it doesn't scratch much at all. I bought the cuckoo in the spring of 2010, as soon as they appeared in St. Petersburg, exploited it carefully. When she gave the cuckoo to clean, the girl was also very surprised at the coating of the old pan. I actually found a photo that I sent to the service, just do not write, please, that "it is necessary to do it like that ... etc." I VERY took care of it, because initially I read the forums and knew that it was scratched, and there was nowhere to buy a new one. I washed it with a sponge, used silicone spatulas, if not very dirty, just wiped it with water with a paper napkin. The photo still looks nothing, in fact, the horror is terrible.

Girls, I shout Hurray! HURRAH! Hurray, right in your voice!
My Cuckoo is up and running like new.
After the first cleaning, it turns out that we just washed off the previously filled cap, but did not do the most important thing, did not wash it, the so-called high pressure salt valve.
A friend of his son re-disassembled, washed, blew this valve and assembled the lid in just half an hour.
The photos that I post here will be useful to you. Otherwise, you just like us will not pay attention to the most important detail of the high pressure valve.

Here is a photo of the rod and all three parts that should move freely, you must very carefully wash them from fat. You can pre-soak them in a solution with detergent. The problem is that the fat is sticking together these three working parts of the valve. And also the fat and products in the valve body do not allow the valve to tightly close the hole so that pressure builds up

In addition, the previous post turned out to be very long.
Taking back all my bad words about the Multicook and Cuckoo campaign. This is really not a waste, but a pot lid when cooking by the user.
A CUCKOO representative called me back and offered to repair the valve. It turns out that there is a sales representative in our Southern Federal District who travels to certain cities in Krasnodar and other cities, so Anapa turned out to be close to me, picks up the devices and, if necessary, repairs.
But once I had washed everything safely, I wanted to try to clean this valve myself. Suddenly I find myself again straw an unapproachable user.
Everything turned out just fine, do not be afraid, your eyes are afraid, your hands do and you will succeed too. The cuckoo now works as if I just received a brand new one from the store.
To check after cleaning, I prepared a large pork leg (shank) for jellied meat. She took the leg straight from the freezer, refilled it somewhere, put half a liter of water 105 * for 1 hour, opened it, everything left the bone, but the veins were a little harsh, put it back on Multipovar for 50 minutes.
As a result, everything can be eaten with lips, and the broth is transparent.

Alena, you have a rare case of a whole bunch of problems in one place. Therefore, we wanted to analyze all the problems. Could you answer how long you use the cuckoo? When and where did you get the multicooker? Serial number of the instrument. After what time did the cup come to such a deplorable state? What kind of food did you cook and at what temperatures? Have you used a bowl instead of a regular pot on a gas stove, with or without water?

I answer:
1. The cuckoo was bought by me in St. Petersburg, Ecoteko store in April 2010. Serial number 0904RUP0270.
2. The pan initially began to scratch somehow immediately (despite the silicone spatulas and careful attitude to it) and the coating looked like cheap Teflon (a completely different coating on the new pan!). Bubbles began to appear about a year later, after which I began to cook in it only for a couple (because I have a small child). After half a year, I stopped cooking in it altogether (the bubbles burst, the Teflon began to peel off) and began to wait for a new pan to appear on sale. I did NOT put the bowl on the fire and the hot stove (I am out of my mind and I have dishes for these purposes). I didn't cook as much as our members of the forum, because I don't really like to cook and I have a small child (especially not before cooking). Basically, this is a multi-cook program for 100 and 110 g (buckwheat porridge, rice, vegetable and meat soups, stewed vegetables), frying (very light sautéing vegetables, or lightly chicken, meat before a multi-cook), oven (omelet, baking - rarely), steam cooking, steam cleaning. Several times I fried zucchini, potatoes, cutlets, but on the stove it is somehow faster and an ordinary frying pan holds more than a cuckoo. I tried 120g a couple of times. for some reason I don't remember, but somehow I didn't like it very much and I was scared.
3. The cuckoo stopped working (the valve) after a break in cooking, so when I bought the pan, they cleaned it right away. A crack on the panel appeared after about a year of work.
4.As for sending the pan, I personally do not see any sense for myself, except for wasting my time and effort (at the post office with a small child) (and even the pan itself, the cover of which can be restored in a well-known company in Tomsk). Moreover, when I called you in Moscow, I sent you the same photos, I was sent to wait for a new pan, to put it mildly, etc. She asked me to tell you when they would appear in Russia, but of course no one told, I found out myself on the forums. When I bought a pan, the first one came with a marriage (it was very badly dented) and with a double set of handles, apparently they did not check it in Moscow and St. Petersburg (I also saw it at home when I brought it, I had to wait for a new one). How am I supposed to be satisfied with the service after that? Thank you very much only to our representative from St. Petersburg Olesya for everything.

If you do not see the point in sending, you could pass the cup to our representative in St. Petersburg Oles, we are very pleased to hear such words about our representative.

If I'm not mistaken, in this mode you can add temperature and pressure, everything will cook much faster.
Well, and the operation of the valves must be constantly checked, I have a gas pressure cooker, so I check the valve both after the end of cooking and before starting by pressing on it with my finger. Everything should "walk" very easily and without the slightest sticking, especially when you first press it when checking. Otherwise, not only the lid may burst!

If this is found, then you must immediately wash. It is not difficult to buy a set of small brushes.
No, the goal was precisely to check the work at 105 *. I don't want to fill my Cuckoo anymore, and I was in no hurry.
By the way, in gas pressure cookers everything cooks faster, I have two of them: one 10 liter for jellied meat, and the second 3 liter.
Correctly, you reminded me that they also need to flush the valve, have not used them for a long time, and the last time I cooked, I noticed that steam is also breaking through from under the lid.

You can, of course, search for a service, but the valve can regularly splash, you don't wear it. Having prepared the necessary tool, a rather routine manipulation in the end. Especially if the assembly diagram is at hand. The eyes are afraid, but the hands are doing! But there must be a tool.

Good day!
I am also a user of cuckoo 1054. I would like to share my observations.

1. You Vanya 28 speak absolutely correctly, the valve will regularly splash.Take a simple fry with the lid open at 1054. I don't know about the others, but I constantly get fat on the lid, including the steam outlets. After frying, I have to wash the lid and do steam cleaning, as I later realized. Now our employees in the office take turns cooking at 1054, they only have lunch in the office. That is, the cuckoo is working intensively. Sometimes, after the end of cooking, a muddy-colored slurry similar to beige foam began to appear from the outlet valve. And with subsequent brews
when the temperature was set, steam began to come out constantly, and not as before, at first, the pressure would pick up, then the steam slowly releases. So if with such symptoms you can immediately do "STEAM CLEANING" 2-3 times, then as a rule, the pressure set was restored. The main thing to do is not to start cleaning right away, otherwise the fat will solidify, mixed with dill and other spices, products and you get a cork like a wad in a cartridge, which is not something you can not pick out with steam and a screwdriver. But before "STEAM CLEANING" you must first clean the lid, wash the bowl, clean the steam trap, pour clean water and turn on "STEAM CLEANING". A cuckoo should be treated the same way as a dish, in the sense that it should be washed and cleaned just as regularly.

2. I wanted to know the opinion of cuckoo users about cooking at 120 degrees. Is the constant use of 120 degrees justified? If so, I would like to know why. If not, why not? How much time does a person save when cooking at 120 degrees, if they save? What dishes do people cook at 120 degrees and why? Does this give any advantages over 100 degrees? Or is it such a technology. Or who doesn't cook at 120 degrees, I wonder why. From our observations, many do not even think about it. They put food in the 1054 cuckoo and press START. And when we ask them at what temperature the liquid was released, very often they do not know. Then we take their cuckoo and look at the temperature on a multi-cook, what temperature there was, you guessed it, 120. That is, they did not reach the temperature setting.
Previously, when there were no pressure cookers and cuckoos, we cooked everything at a maximum temperature of 100 degrees. Only the cooking time could be adjusted. And everyone seemed to be happy. Previously, dishes were cooked in the Russian oven at 90 degrees. 120 degrees is the urge to cook fast? What is the difference in time at 100 degrees and at 120? The cuckoo can be programmed so that it will cook in the same way as the domestic pressure cooker on the stove, or faster. This is not the main task, and we are not pilots of Formula 1.

Gas pressure cookers were popular in the USSR because the quality of products at that time left much to be desired, especially meat. And to put it mildly, low-quality meat that is tough as a sole, for example, saiga meat, could be boiled to the point where it could at least be chewed, only a pressure cooker could do due to the high temperature and pressure. You can not talk about the usefulness of food in such modes.

Now times are different, thank you, God, the products are not in short supply. The cuckoo allows you to cook not only quickly but also efficiently. Not only tasty but healthy food.

Such questions have accumulated, it would be interesting to know the opinion of cuckoo users on this matter.

I want to express my gratitude to all members of the forum, users of cuckoos for your contribution to improving the multicooker Cuckoo and the administration of the forum.
For the Korean cuckoo, Russian cuisine is a serious test, I hope that she will pass it with flying colors.

Girls!!! Thank you very much for the posted photos on cleaning the valve. My husband sorted everything out, cleaned it up yesterday, and my beloved Cuckoo is puffing again as before. Although I did not stop using it, the lack of steam was very embarrassing. Photos sooo helped, they themselves would not have figured out probably (my husband constantly glanced at them). After the valve was cleaned, steam cleaning was done. So the steam poured down with such force, I was even afraid to go into the kitchen (yes, I am a careful person). All under warranty with a warranty card.

Good luck.

I was in St. Petersburg, I turned to Euroservice, they called back yesterday, they confirmed 2000 for cleaning the valve, I had to refuse. On the crack, they said they sent a request to the dealership. Warranty until January 2013, there is a coupon.
Where to contact?

Is there a telephone number for a representative office in Moscow or St. Petersburg? Our SC is some kind of left-handed and all so dry - it was scary to give away the multicooker.

It's ridiculous to go into a multicooker for 20 thousand while it's under warranty. Moreover, to pay 2000 for cleaning. I didn’t ask for the phone number of the SC - well, I’m not taking it to Moscow, but the representative office, to resolve the issue of unfair performance of the guarantee by the local service center.

I myself would not. Even when my husband began to take apart, I shook over him. But I disassembled and at the last stage, when it was necessary to unscrew this notorious valve, the case stalled. There are 2 screws, one he unscrewed, and the other did not give in. He even bought another screwdriver. We took it to the service center, where we had not heard of the cuckoo. They told what and how they did everything. They sawed off the screw that did not unscrew, which we, of course, would not dare to do. The good news is that there is now where to turn. I think any service center will do this if they explain the problem. They still deal with all kinds of household appliances.

Thank you so much
I want to give some advice to those who are not afraid and try to do everything themselves. First remove the strip that is under the drip tray. It is attached with one screw and without this strip the top cover can be removed more easily.
I, too, could not immediately unscrew one screw that secures the valve, even the first time I put everything back together. But my son-in-law brought me a product called WD-40, sold in the form of an aerosol bottle. I dripped it on a screw and left it for 4 hours. The screw unscrewed with a bang. I also cleaned the salt valve with the same product. Only then do not forget to go through the "Steam cleaning" several times, after all, chemistry.
Girls, don't be afraid.I recorded every step I took on the camera, so as not to forget where the screw came from.

Someone else would have gotten to the watch battery and posted a photo step by step of where it is and how to replace it. That would be complete happiness

Well, I want to tell you how I solved the problem with the bowl. As with Alena80 bubbles appeared in mine and the coating began to peel off. I wrote to the city of Tomsk, LLC "NEK" (they restore the coating and make bowls for Panasonic and other multicooker). I sent them mine and after 1.5 months I received the restored one. They removed the inner coating and reapplied. The coating is slightly different from the original, a little rougher or something, and there are no internal markings. But it doesn't bother me, it prepares wonderfully. And they also advised me not to fry at high temperatures, because of this coating and swollen. Now I fry on a medium level and generally began to cook on a multi-cook at 100-105 degrees. I didn't notice a fundamentally big difference than how I cooked before at 110-115 degrees. But now I hope that my beautiful little darling will serve longer.

If I were you, I would conduct an examination of the quality of the bowl coating, since any temperature is a regular cooking program according to the operating conditions. Well, the massive nature of this phenomenon is also interesting, since, for example, clogging of the electromagnetic valve for steam release is such a massive phenomenon that it is time to talk about a design flaw and prepare a class action lawsuit.

Good day to all!
Girls, tell me, please, what happened to my cuckoo?
I cooked, I was happy ... And recently some kind of "beep" appeared during cooking. Buzzing like a steam locomotive. Sometimes it is quiet, sometimes on the rise - an extraneous unpleasant sound. I don't understand what's the matter? Cooks properly. But this hum is confusing ..
Maybe someone faced this problem? Tell me, pliz ... And then I'm worried about my beloved assistant.
Thank you.
annnita
One early morning I was also woken up by a hum when the porridge was being cooked on the timer. Personally, it turned out for me that the silicone ring seemed to have moved away a little, that is, an uneven circle from the ring was on the lid, but somehow moved in one place. That was probably why there was a hum in this place, the pressure was probably uneven. Try to check to see if the ring is tight around the entire circle. When I straightened everything, my hum no longer appeared.
sazalexter
About the solenoid valve. After two years no problem operating a multi-cookie and analyzing complaints about the valve, I realized that the malfunction occurs for two reasons 1. A liquid dish "runs away" on top, and the lid is all in the food being prepared. 2. After cooking meat and fish dishes, no steam cleaning is done. In the first case, if you do not immediately clean it with steam, expect problems, it is better, of course, to disassemble the lid and rinse it. In the second case, you just need to follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
Kapa66

If there is steam in the cleaning, then probably it is not necessary to clean. I cleaned after I had both cooking and cleaning steam constantly coming out. And when I had to go out for cleaning, I didn’t come out. The food was being cooked, but part of the broth had boiled away. When I cook without liquid, it seems to me almost no steam comes out.

Ol, no one cooks porridge in milk for 120, I like buckwheat and rice in water for 120 with preliminary frying, and I ONLY cooked meat for 120 and all other products 110-120 at other temperatures I simply do not recognize.
As a rule, I cooked porridge only at 10, and now I cook it at 1010 or Oursson.
With the valve, everything is okay and there is no crack. Again, why is there no crack, because we ourselves weakened the panel, thanks to my husband (you also seem to have a crack on the panel, but you don't cook at 120)
